Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a sheet-like adhesive and suction member with a hole, and more particularly to a sheet-like adhesive and suction member with a hole in the center, which is intended to be attached to a holding jig for holding a semi-finished plastic spectacle lens in a polishing machine used for manufacturing a spectacle lens of a desired shape by edging the semi-finished plastic spectacle lens. More specifically, the present invention relates to a sheet-like adhesive and suction member that is attached to a holding jig in a polishing machine by an adhesive layer provided on one side, and has a porous layer with a specific configuration provided on the other side, which adheres to the smooth surface of the semi-finished plastic spectacle lens for manufacturing a spectacle lens of a desired shape by its suction function, so that the semi-finished plastic spectacle lens can be held in good condition by the holding jig. [Background technology]
[0002] For spectacle lenses, it is extremely important that they provide the required functions, including the specified power. In recent years, as people's eyes are used heavily, the functions required of spectacle lenses have become more diverse. Most spectacle lenses are made of plastic, which is easy to process, and so spectacle lenses are subjected to various processes in order to obtain spectacle products that reliably and precisely achieve the various required functions. For example, since plastic spectacle lenses are easily scratched, they are provided with coating treatments to make them more scratch-resistant, and with functions to protect the eyes from ultraviolet rays and electron beams.
[0003] Furthermore, since the spectacle lens is held by the spectacle frame and worn on the face as a pair of glasses for daily use, when it is made into glasses, it is required that the product can reliably and precisely achieve functionality that takes into consideration the comfort of the user wearing the glasses in addition to the functionality of the spectacle lens. In recent years, the demand for design of glasses has increased, and frames for holding the spectacle lens have been developed and provided in a variety of designs, shapes, and materials. For this reason, spectacle lenses are provided as semi-finished products of plastic spectacle lenses with a diameter of about 8 cm and an appearance of a circular plate (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as "semi-finished spectacle lenses" or "semi-finished lenses") that are designed and manufactured to accommodate eyesight, astigmatism, etc., by spectacle lens manufacturers, and when it is made into glasses, it is polished by a polishing machine to a size that matches the individual spectacle frame to be attached, and the size is adjusted to make a spectacle lens of the desired shape.
[0004] To briefly explain the polishing process, first, markings are made on the semi-finished circular eyeglass lens described above using a lens meter so that the center point and the axis of astigmatism can be determined, and then, referring to the marks, the shape of the lens that fits the desired frame is drawn in the optimal position, and then, referring to the marks, a dedicated holding jig for holding the semi-finished eyeglass lens is attached in the optimal position. Then, the holding jig holding the semi-finished eyeglass lens is installed in a specified position in a polishing machine, and the eyeglass lens of the desired shape is obtained by polishing.
[0005] In the polishing process of the semi-finished eyeglass lens, it is necessary to finish the semi-finished eyeglass lens accurately to a desired shape so that it can be accurately fitted into the edges of various shapes constituting recent eyeglass frames, or so that it can be attached to the eyeglass frame in a desired state. For this reason, it is necessary to mount the semi-finished eyeglass lens on a dedicated holding jig in a polishing machine at an optimal position, and to realize stable and reliable holding without shifting during polishing. The present invention aims to develop a dedicated sheet-like fixing member to be interposed between the holding jig and the semi-finished eyeglass lens, which is used to stably and reliably hold the semi-finished eyeglass lens before processing at a desired position in a polishing machine. Conventionally, a so-called double-sided tape-like member with adhesive layers on both sides has been used as the dedicated fixing member. In addition, the shape of the dedicated fixing member is a perforated sheet with an opening (hole) in the center. The reason for the perforated shape is as follows. In other words, when a special holding jig that is installed in the polishing machine during processing is attached to a semi-finished eyeglass lens before processing, the eyeglass lens obtained after polishing can be attached to the special holding jig at the correct position via a special fixing member, aiming at the marked point indicating the center point of the lens affixed to the semi-finished eyeglass lens, so that the center point, etc. of the lens obtained after polishing is not shifted.
[0006] As mentioned above, eyeglass frames come in a variety of shapes, and eyeglasses are products for which comfort for each individual user is important, so that polishing, which is the final step in the preparation of eyeglass lenses as described above, which was previously carried out at eyeglass manufacturing plants, is now often carried out at eyeglass stores due to the development of small polishing machines in recent years. Specifically, eyeglass stores polish semi-finished eyeglass lenses selected based on eye examinations with a polishing machine so that they can be accurately attached to the desired eyeglass frame selected by the user, providing eyeglasses that are comfortable for each individual user on the spot.
[0007] The polishing process performed in the final step of the above-mentioned eyeglass lens manufacturing is performed in a state where a semi-finished circular eyeglass lens is held by a holding jig installed at a specific position in a polishing machine. In this case, as a method for attaching the semi-finished lens before processing to the holding jig, which is a plastic molded body, in the conventional technology, a fixing member having an adhesive on both sides and having almost the same shape as the plane of the holding jig is used. The fixing member is required to hold the semi-finished lens made of highly functional plastic in an appropriate position, to stably perform polishing with good dimensional accuracy in this state, to easily remove the eyeglass lens obtained after polishing, and to not cause any adverse effects such as scratches on the eyeglass lens after removal.
[0008] In response to the above, Patent Document 1 proposes an ultra-strong adhesive sheet for a polishing device that is used in a polishing device that fixes a workpiece and performs a specific polishing process. This technology was developed in the semiconductor manufacturing field, where flattening technology for semiconductor layers and metal layers is an important element technology. The paper proposes a unique adhesive sheet with adhesive surfaces formed on both sides, which is used by placing it between a rotating lathe and a polishing pad, and is useful for a CMP device as a polishing device that performs flattening. Its characteristic is that it utilizes the technology of a strong adhesive structure that utilizes the adsorption function of plastic foam, as described in Patent Document 2. In contrast, as described above, the final process of eyeglass lenses is similar in that a semi-finished eyeglass lens with a highly functional smooth surface is held in a polishing device and polished (polished) in that state.
[0009] The "strong adhesive structure" described in Patent Document 2, which is used in the technology of the adhesive sheet of Patent Document 1, is characterized in that the adhesive layer is a plastic foam material with an adhesive layer, and is said to have the following effects. By using a plastic foam material with an adhesive layer, when the plastic foam material is adhered to a surface to be adhered, the holes opened on the surface with the adhesive layer have an adsorption function of adsorbing to the surface to be adhered as the plastic foam material elastically returns after being compressed and deformed, and as a result, the adhesive function of the adhesive layer and the adsorption function of the holes in the plastic foam material act simultaneously on the attachment surface of the attachment. And, this "strong adhesive structure" is said to be able to reliably hold the attachment in a fixed state. In other words, the "strong adhesive structure" described in Patent Document 2 is a technology in which the adhesion of the adhesive to the attachment surface is supplemented by the adsorption of the plastic foam material to the attachment surface.
[0010] In comparison with the technology of Patent Document 2 above, Patent Document 1 proposes an improvement to the configuration of an adhesive layer formed on the surface of a plastic foam material that has an adsorption function for adhesive surfaces, so that when used in a CMP device, stable adhesion to the surface to be adhered to is achieved by forming unique suction cup-shaped recesses that fit into the holes of the plastic foam material. [0011] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 5122107 [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 3016730 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0012] However, the "strong adhesive structure" in the above-mentioned conventional technology is one in which the adhesion of the adhesive to the surface to which the attachment is made is supplemented by the adsorption of the plastic foam material to the surface to which the attachment is made, and basically, the adhesive needs to adhere to the surface to which the attachment is made, and the adhesive is configured to come into contact with the surface to which the attachment is made.
[0013] The present inventors have studied the application of the above-mentioned conventional adhesive sheet when a semi-finished circular lens with a highly functional smooth surface is held by a holding jig in a polishing machine, which is performed in the final process of the eyeglass lens. In the course of the study, the present inventors have recognized that it is necessary to consider the following points. In the case of eyeglass lenses, the purpose of the polishing process performed on a semi-finished circular plastic eyeglass lens before processing is to adjust the shape to match the eyeglass frame so that the lens can be attached to a selected desired eyeglass frame in a good condition without impairing the functions required for the eyeglass lens. The polished eyeglass lens is basically attached to the eyeglass frame in a state where it is removed from the holding jig. In other words, in the case of eyeglass lenses, since all the functions of the eyeglass lens are imparted to the semi-finished circular plastic eyeglass lens before polishing, it is extremely important that the functionality imparted to the semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens is not impaired in the polishing process. In particular, it is necessary that the adhesive sheet used does not affect the surface to be attached.
[0014] In the polishing process performed to obtain eyeglass lenses, which are required as described above, the adhesive sheet of the prior art mentioned above is configured to supplement the adhesion of the adhesive by the adhesion of the plastic foam material to the surface to be attached, so when the eyeglass lenses polished to the desired shape are removed from the holding jig, there is a concern that the adhesive of the adhesive sheet will leave a so-called "glue residue" problem. To address this problem, work-related measures such as applying protective tape to the surface of the semi-finished eyeglass lenses have been taken. However, the protective tape also uses an adhesive, and there is a problem of "glue residue" to some extent. In addition, the use of protective tape means that the work procedures and materials used increase, and furthermore, the protective tape needs to be discarded after the polishing process, which is contrary to the social situation in which the reduction of the use of plastic products is required. In other words, it is desirable to perform the polishing process of semi-finished lenses to obtain eyeglass lenses without using protective tape.
[0015] On the other hand, in addition to the above-mentioned problem of glue residue, as mentioned above, the surface of the eyeglass lens is given functionality by coating treatment or the like, so it is important that the surface condition of these eyeglass lenses is not affected by holding the "plastic eyeglass lens semi-finished product" with a holding jig via an adhesive sheet. As mentioned above, the semi-finished lens to be polished, which is the subject of the present invention, is already in a state of having the desired functions except for the shape, and it is required that the polishing process does not cause any new effects (problems). Furthermore, as a basic requirement, by using the fixing member provided by the present invention, the holding jig can be attached to the semi-finished lens to be polished in an optimal position where good polishing can be performed, and further, it is necessary to realize that the lens is fixed and held in a stable state by the holding jig without shifting, coming off, or falling, both during the polishing process performed by installing it at a predetermined position in the polishing machine and when removing the eyeglass lens after polishing. In addition, in some cases, the eyeglass lens removed from the holding jig after polishing may be returned to the polishing machine again for size adjustment, etc., and in such a case, a configuration that allows good holding again is desired.
[0016] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to develop and provide a new fixing member which, when attached to the flat surface of a holding jig for holding the semi-finished lens in a polishing machine used in the polishing process for shaping the unprocessed circular "semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens" having the unique characteristics described above to produce eyeglass lenses of the desired shape, does not leave any adhesive residue or other effects on the eyeglass lens after processing, and can easily and stably fix and hold the lens in good condition during the polishing process. [Means for solving the problem]
[0017] The above object can be achieved by the present invention, which provides the following sheet-like adhesive / constant member: [1] A sheet-shaped adhesive and suction member with a hole in the center, which is used when a semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens is processed into a desired shape by edge shaping, and which is attached to the flat surface of a holding jig for holding the semi-finished eyeglass lens in a polishing machine, an adhesive layer for attaching to the holding jig is disposed on the outermost surface of one side, and a porous layer made of a plastic foam material containing air bubbles having a large number of pores opening on the surface and having an adhesive function for smooth surfaces is disposed on the outermost surface of the other side, the porous layer being attached to an adhesive layer provided on the other side of the base sheet having the adhesive layer provided on one side thereof, and laminated thereto to be integrated; Furthermore, the porous layer has a configuration in which a plurality of through holes penetrating the porous layer in a thickness direction are provided at regular intervals or at irregular positions. A sheet-like adhesive / constant material, characterized in that an adhesive layer is disposed on one of its front and back surfaces, and a porous layer having a plurality of through holes is disposed on the other surface.
[0018] Preferred embodiments of the above-mentioned sheet-like adhesive / constant member of the present invention are as follows. [2] The sheet-form adhesive / pressure-sensitive adhesive member according to the above [1], wherein the opening size (diameter) of the through-holes is 30 μm or less. [3] The sheet-form adhesive / adhesive member according to the above [1] or [2], wherein the thickness of the porous layer is from 0.3 mm to 1 mm. [4] The plurality of through holes is 3 to 13 per cm 2 The sheet-form adhesive / adhesive member according to any one of the above [1] to [3], wherein the pores are provided at a pore density within the range. [5] The sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member according to any one of the above [1] to [4], further comprising a release sheet provided on the surface of the adhesive layer and the surface of the porous layer for attachment to a flat surface of the holding jig. Effect of the Invention
[0019] According to the present invention, there is provided a sheet-shaped adhesive and suction member that is particularly effective when attached to the flat surface of a holding jig for holding the semi-finished lens before processing in a polishing machine used for edging a "semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens" to produce an eyeglass lens of a desired shape. Specifically, by applying the sheet-shaped adhesive and suction member when attaching a "semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens" to a holding jig, the semi-finished lens can be reliably fixed and held in a good condition on the holding jig in the polishing machine, and the polishing process can be carried out smoothly. In addition, no glue residue is left on the eyeglass lens removed from the holding jig after the polishing process, and the coating on the surface of the eyeglass lens is not affected by the attachment to the flat surface of the holding jig. As described above, according to the present invention, there is no need to apply a protective tape to the surface of the semi-finished lens before polishing, which is conventionally done to deal with problems such as glue residue, and therefore the materials used in the processing can be reduced and the workability can be improved. Furthermore, according to the sheet-shaped adhesive / tacky material of the present invention, a high adhesive function is maintained even after the lens is removed from the holding jig following polishing processing, so it is possible to hold the eyeglass lens again in the holding jig during or after processing and then polish it, which also makes it convenient and economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0021] The present invention will be described below with reference to preferred embodiments. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. The inventors have examined whether the above-mentioned conventional adhesive sheets can be applied to the object of the present invention. As a result, it was found that when the conventional adhesive sheet is applied to hold a "semi-finished plastic eyeglass lens", there is a problem of glue residue on the eyeglass lens when the polished eyeglass lens is removed from the holding jig, and it cannot be applied as it is. In response to this, in order to solve the problem of glue residue, an attempt was made to attach the semi-finished lens by using only the adsorption function of the plastic foam material without providing an adhesive on the surface of the plastic foam material. However, it was found that in this case, the adsorption function was weak and the semi-finished lens could not be stably fixed and held.
[0022] From the above-mentioned results, the present inventors first conducted intensive research into solving the above-mentioned problems by using no adhesive on the surface of the semi-finished eyeglass lens that comes into contact with the semi-finished eyeglass lens, thereby preventing the problem of glue residue, and by enhancing the adsorption function of the plastic foam material. As a result, they found that the problem can be solved by a very simple method, and that a remarkable effect can be obtained when applied to the uses specified in the present invention, and thus arrived at the present invention. The present inventors found that by modifying the porous layer having an adsorption function proposed in the prior art by a simple method, the semi-finished lens before processing can be stably fixed and held by a holding jig, and the polishing process can be performed smoothly in a good condition. More specifically, the porous layer constituting the sheet-like adsorbing and adhesive member of the present invention is made of a plastic foam material containing air bubbles with a large number of holes opening on the surface, and the present inventors found that sufficient adsorption performance can be obtained in the specific uses of the present invention by a very simple modification in which a plurality of through holes are provided in the thickness direction of the porous layer at regular intervals or irregular positions from each other.
[0023] As described above, the multiple through holes provided in the thickness direction of the porous layer, which characterizes the present invention, may be provided at regular intervals between the through holes, or may be provided at irregular positions. When the through holes are provided at regular intervals (equidistant intervals), the hole density is, for example, 3 to 13 holes / cm. 2 It is preferable to provide the holes so that the density is about 5 to 12 holes / cm. 2 and a pore density of 5-9 pores / cm 2 In particular, the hole density should be within the range of 5 to 7 holes / cm. 2 For example, the hole density is 6 holes / cm 2 Even when the through holes are provided at irregular positions, it is preferable that the through holes are arranged at intervals within the above-mentioned hole density range.
[0024] The shape of each through hole may be cylindrical as shown in FIG. 3(b), or may be tapered conical or truncated conical as shown in FIG. 3(a) and FIG. 3(c). According to the study by the present inventors, the shape of the through hole is preferably conical or truncated conical from the viewpoint of processability and improved adsorption function. What is necessary in the present invention is to provide a plurality of holes penetrating in the thickness direction of the porous layer, regardless of the shape. According to the study by the present inventors, when the shape of the through hole is conical or truncated conical, it may be either that the diameter of the outermost surface side that contacts the semi-finished lens is larger as shown in FIG. 3(a), or that the diameter of the adhesive layer side for mounting on the flat surface of the holding jig is larger as shown in FIG. 3(c). As will be described later, according to the study by the present inventors, although there are some differences, the effect of improving the adsorption function can be obtained in either case, whether the through hole is provided in the shape shown in FIG. 3(a) or the shape shown in FIG. 3(c). Furthermore, in the sheet-like adsorptive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member of the present invention, the degree of improvement in the adsorptive function can be varied by varying the number (hole density) of the multiple through holes provided in the thickness direction of the porous layer. Therefore, in the sheet-like adsorptive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member of the present invention, the shape and hole density of the multiple through holes provided in the porous layer may all be the same, but it is also possible to adjust the shape and state of each of the multiple through holes appropriately to provide the through holes, thereby adjusting the adsorptive performance to an optimal state.
[0025] The through-holes provided in the porous layer characterizing the present invention are preferably micropores with an opening size (diameter) of 30 μm or less. More preferably, the diameter is 10 μm or more and 30 μm or less. For example, when the shape of the through-hole is a truncated cone, the diameter of the base side is preferably about 20 μm to 30 μm, and the diameter of the apex side is preferably about 5 μm to 15 μm. The thickness of the porous layer characterizing the present invention is not particularly limited, but the thickness of the porous layer is preferably 0.3 mm (300 μm) or more and 1 mm (1000 μm) or less. More preferably, the thickness of the porous layer is 0.3 mm (300 μm) or more and 0.8 mm (800 μm) or less, and further preferably about 0.3 mm (300 μm) to 0.5 mm (500 μm). According to the study by the present inventors, when the thickness of the porous layer is less than 0.3 mm (300 μm), the effect of improving the adsorption function by providing through holes tends to be insufficient, while when the thickness exceeds 1 mm (1000 μm), it is not preferable because it lacks stability and may cause inconvenience in polishing. Specifically, if the porous layer is too thick, it is not preferable because it is less economical and there is a risk of misalignment in the adsorption of the semi-finished eyeglass lens during polishing.
[0026] The method for producing the sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member of the present invention is not particularly limited. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 1, the sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member 10 of the present invention can be easily produced by preparing a double-sided tape-like adhesive layer 2 formed with adhesive layers 2-2 and 2-3 on the front and back of a sheet-like base material 2-1, and a porous layer 1 having a large number of holes on the surface, in which a plurality of through holes 3 are formed as described above, and laminating and integrating the porous layer on one surface of the adhesive layer 2-3. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, the sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member of the present invention is preferably provided with a base release sheet 4 on the surface of the adhesive layer 2-2 of the double-sided tape-like adhesive layer 2, which is attached to a holding jig during use. Furthermore, it is preferable to provide a protective release sheet 5 for the porous layer on the surface of the porous layer 1. As shown in FIG. 1, the sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member 10 of the present invention has an adhesive layer 2 on one side of the front and back, and a unique porous layer 1 with high adsorption performance on the other side, and since the functions are different, it is desired that this point be clearly understood by the user when it is made into a product. Methods for achieving this include, for example, making the above-mentioned base release sheet 4 and the protective release sheet 5 of the porous layer different in size or color, or providing letters or figures for identification on at least one of these release sheets.
[0027] In the method for producing the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member 10 of the present invention described above, the porous layer 1 having the through-holes characteristic of the present invention is prepared in advance, but the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member 10 can also be easily produced by, for example, the method described below. The double-sided adhesive layer 2 and the porous layer 1 are laminated in this order on the surface of the base release sheet 4 to be integrated, and a protective release sheet 5 for the porous layer is provided on the outermost surface (see FIG. 4(c)). In this state, the porous layer 1 may be provided with the through-holes 3. In this case, for example, as shown in FIG. 4(a), the through-holes 3 may be formed from the porous layer 1 side using a tool 7 for forming the through-holes, or, for example, as shown in FIG. 4(b), the through-holes 3 may be formed from the adhesive layer 2 side using a tool 7 for forming the through-holes. As will be described later, according to the study by the present inventors, when producing the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member, a sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member with improved adsorption function can be realized by having the through-holes 3 formed as shown in FIG. 4(a).
[0028] The porous layer 1 having an adsorption function constituting the sheet-like adsorptive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member 10 of the present invention can have the same structure as the plastic foam material containing air bubbles with many holes opening on the surface, which is used in the conventional technology described above that supplements the adhesion of an adhesive with an adsorption function, except for having the through holes 3 described above. That is, the porous layer 1 having an adsorption function constituting the present invention can be easily obtained by the method described in the conventional technology listed above. Examples of the plastic foam material include polyurethane foam, polyethylene foam, and polyacrylic foam. In the study example of the present invention described below, polyacrylic foam was used.
[0029] The structure of the sheet-like adhesive and suction member 10 of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. 2. The sheet-like adhesive and suction member 10 of the present invention is a member attached to a holding jig 20 for holding a semi-finished eyeglass lens 30 before processing in a polishing machine used when a semi-finished eyeglass lens 30 is edged to produce an eyeglass lens of a desired shape. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 2(A), the sheet-like adhesive and suction member 10 of the present invention is a perforated sheet-like member having a shape almost similar to the plane of the holding jig 20 and having an opening (hole) indicated by 6 in the figure at the center. FIG. 2(A) is a schematic perspective view showing each member in a separated state, and FIG. 2(B) is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the state of each member when used. In addition, 40 in Fig. 2(A) is a support member for the semi-finished eyeglass lens 30, which complements the holding jig 20 when the semi-finished eyeglass lens 30, which is integrally attached to the holding jig 20, is placed in a polishing machine and polished. As shown in these figures, the sheet-like adhesive / sticking member 10 of the present invention is used when attaching and fixing the semi-finished eyeglass lens 30, which is a circular lens before processing, to the flat surface of the holding jig 20, and is a fixing member that allows the semi-finished lens 30 to be polished by placing the holding jig 20 in this state at a desired position in the polishing machine. Fig. 5 shows the state of the product when the sheet-like adhesive / sticking member 10 of the present invention is provided (sold) as an auxiliary member for polishing the semi-finished lens 30. EXAMPLES
[0030] Hereinafter, further specific examples of the above-described embodiment will be described with reference to examples and comparative examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples.
[0031] [Examples 1 and 2, Comparative Example 1] A composite sheet was prepared by integrating the adhesive layer and the porous layer, by disposing an adhesive layer on both sides of a sheet-like substrate on the release sheet of the base, and disposing a porous layer having an adsorption function made of a plastic foam containing air bubbles with a large number of holes open on the surface on the adhesive layer disposed on the upper surface of the adhesive layer. A PET sheet with a thickness of 25 μm was provided on the outermost surface of the porous layer as a protective release sheet for the porous layer. The adhesive layer was a double-sided tape-like structure in which an adhesive layer with a thickness of 30 μm was provided on both sides of a sheet-like substrate made of a polyethylene sheet with a thickness of 60 μm. A plastic foam material having an adsorption function made of a polyacrylic foam containing air bubbles with a large number of holes open on the surface was used as the porous layer provided on the adhesive layer. The porous layer used in the following study example had a thickness of 0.5 mm (500 μm). The outline of the above-mentioned laminated structure is shown in FIG. 4(c). In the following study example, the structure shown in FIG. 4(c) was used as Comparative Example 1.
[0032] Using the sheets having the laminated structure shown in FIG. 4(c) described above, sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive members with different configurations were prepared as follows. In the sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive member of Example 1, as shown in FIG. 4(a), a plurality of through holes were provided in the porous layer from the PET sheet side, which is the protective release sheet 5 of the porous layer, using a through-hole forming tool 8. From the shape of the through-hole forming tool 8 used at that time, the shape of the through-hole was a truncated cone shape with a larger opening at the bottom side of the tool 8 and a diameter of about 20 μm, and a smaller opening at the apex side of the tool 8 and a diameter of about 13 μm. Then, when providing a plurality of through-holes of the above shape, sheet-like adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive members with different hole densities were prepared in a state where the through-holes were arranged at regular intervals, and were evaluated by the method described below.
[0033] In the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member of Example 2, similarly to Example 1, through holes were provided in the porous layer of the sheet having the configuration shown in FIG. 4(c) at equal intervals similarly to Example 1, and multiple sheet-like adhesive / adhesive members with different hole densities were produced similarly to Example 1. However, in the case of Example 2, when providing multiple through holes, the same through hole forming tool 8 as in Example 1 was used, but unlike Example 1, the through holes were provided from the release sheet side of the base as shown in FIG. 4(b). Therefore, the shape of the through holes in the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member of Example 2 was a truncated cone-shaped through hole like the sheet-like adhesive / adhesive member of Example 1, but unlike the member of Example 1, the opening was larger on the adhesive layer side and smaller on the outermost surface of the porous layer, resulting in a shape with a different piercing direction of the through holes.
[0034] [evaluation] The sheet-like adhesive / pressure-sensitive adhesive members of Examples 1 and 2 obtained above, and the sheet of Comparative Example 1 having no through-holes as shown in Fig. 4(c) were used as test pieces to evaluate the difference in adhesive power. Specifically, the following method was used to evaluate the difference in adhesive power between the test pieces prepared above, depending on whether or not there are through-holes, the difference in the punching direction of the through-holes, and the cm 2 The difference in adsorption power due to the difference in pore density per unit area was confirmed and evaluated.
[0035] (Evaluation method) <<Measurement of Adsorption Force>> A test piece measuring 10 mm x 10 mm cut from each of the sheet-like adhesive and suction members of Example 1, Example 2, and Comparative Example 1 was attached to the bottom surface of a 500 g weight to prepare an adhesive force test. When attaching the sheet-like adhesive and suction member to the bottom surface of the weight, an adhesive layer was attached to the sheet-like adhesive and suction member, which is used to attach the sheet-like adhesive and suction member to a holding jig that holds semi-finished eyeglass lenses in a polishing machine. In other words, the outermost surface of the bottom surface of the weight to which the sheet-like adhesive and suction member was attached becomes an adhesive surface consisting of a porous layer with an adhesive function.
[0036] Next, the weight was hung on the load measuring device with the bottom side of the weight facing down, and slowly lowered onto a SUS304BA test plate of JIS 0237 standard fixed to the load measuring device, so that the adhesive surface was grounded on the SUS304BA test plate. Then, 5 seconds after the adhesive surface of the weight was grounded on the test plate and the weight of the weight of 500 g was applied, the weight was pulled up vertically at a speed of 300 mm / min with the load measuring device, and the peak value (N) at the moment when the adhesive surface peeled off the test plate was measured and was taken as the adhesive force.
[0037] The test pieces used in the above-mentioned test for measuring the adhesive force are as follows. Test piece A was cut out from the sheet-like adhesive / pressure-sensitive adhesive member of Example 1 having a plurality of through-holes formed therein as shown in FIG. 4(a). 2 Ten pieces of each test piece were prepared, each having a hole density of 3, 6, 9, 12, and 15 through holes per square. For the test piece B cut out from the sheet-like adhesive member of Example 2, in which a plurality of through holes are formed in the configuration shown in FIG. 4(b), ten pieces of each test piece with five different hole densities of the through holes were prepared in the same manner as described above. For the test piece C cut out from the sheet-like adhesive member of Comparative Example 1, which has no through holes as shown in FIG. 4(c), ten pieces of the same test piece were prepared. Then, one piece of each of the above test pieces was used for measurement, and the measurement was repeated ten times, and the adhesive force was measured by the method described above. The results were graphed and shown in FIG. 6. The plotted measured values are the average values of the ten measurements.
[0038] The adhesive strength measured using the above-mentioned test pieces A, B, and C was confirmed to be significantly improved in both test pieces A and B compared to test piece C, which does not have through holes, as shown in FIG. 6. Furthermore, the test results for test pieces A and B showed that the direction in which the through holes are provided does not have a significant effect on the improvement of adhesive strength. As for the number of through holes, as shown in FIG. 6, the hole density was 3 to 13 pcs / cm. 2 It was confirmed that the effect of improving the adsorptive power can be stably obtained by providing the holes at a density of about 4 to 9 holes / cm. 2In particular, the pore density is within the range of 6 pores / cm 2 It was found that by providing the space between the inner and outer periphery of the support member 11 and the outer periphery of the support member 11, a higher effect of improving the adsorptive force could be obtained.
[0039] In addition, the above-mentioned measurement results of the adsorptive power revealed the following: As shown in FIG. 6, a higher adsorption power was obtained with a hole density of 6 holes / cm. 2 , 9 pieces / cm 2 When comparing the cases where the sheet-type adsorbing / adhesive member of Example 1 having a configuration in which a plurality of through-holes are formed in the orientation shown in Fig. 4(a) on the adsorbing surface exhibits a higher adsorption force than the sheet-type adsorbing / adhesive member of Example 2 having a configuration in which a plurality of through-holes are formed in the orientation shown in Fig. 4(b). It was also confirmed that the adsorption force was significantly higher when the sheet-type adsorbing / adhesive member of Example 2 having a configuration in which a plurality of through-holes are formed in the orientation shown in Fig. 4(b) was used than when the sheet-type adsorbing / adhesive member of Comparative Example 1 having no through-holes on the adsorbing surface was used.
[0040] <Evaluation test of adsorption performance during use> Using sheet-type adhesive / sticky member C of Comparative Example 1, which has no through-holes on the adsorption surface as shown in Fig. 4(c) as a standard, sheet-type adhesive / sticky member A of Example 1, which has a plurality of through-holes formed in the configuration shown in Fig. 4(a), and sheet-type adhesive / sticky member B of Example 2, which has a plurality of through-holes formed in the configuration shown in Fig. 4(b), were evaluated for their adsorption performance and other properties when used as described below. The results are summarized in Table 1.
[0041] (1) Durability test of sheet-type adhesive / cohesive materials in double-rubbing processing The sheet-like suction and adhesive members A, B, and C described above, each having a different configuration, were first attached to the flat surface of a holding jig for holding a semi-finished eyeglass lens product using the adhesive layer of the sheet-like suction and adhesive member to form an integrated unit. The porous layer on the surface of the sheet-like suction and adhesive members A and B attached to the holding jig in this way becomes an adsorption surface with a configuration in which a plurality of through holes are formed. Next, the semi-finished eyeglass lens product was attached to the holding jig using the adsorption surface of the holding jig to which the sheet-like suction and adhesive members A, B, and C were attached, respectively, and further the semi-finished eyeglass lens product was attached in the polishing machine using the holding member. In this state, the polishing machine was operated to polish the semi-finished eyeglass lens product for finishing, and then a second finishing process, a second sliding process, was performed based on the information from the finishing process. In the second sliding process, the size was corrected by fine adjustment in units of 0.05 mm.
[0042] The changes in state of each sheet-shaped adhesive / stiction member caused by the repeated operation for fine adjustment of the size during the above-mentioned double-rubbing process were visually observed and evaluated according to the following criteria. The above-mentioned confirmation test was repeated three times, and the results are shown in Table 1. Evaluation criteria ◎: No misalignment or loss even after nine fine adjustments ○: Can be used for 5 to 8 fine adjustments △: Can be used for 1 to 4 fine adjustments ×: Misalignment or detachment occurred and the product could not be used for double-rubbing processing.
