Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an electronic game using a display capable of displaying two or more dimensions, and more particularly to an apparatus and program for implementing a game that progresses using coordinate data input by a user's touch operation on a touch panel. [Background technology]
[0002] There is known an electronic game in which, when the trajectory of a touch operation for moving a first object displayed on a screen provided with a touch panel draws a closed figure, the first object attacks a second object surrounded by the closed figure (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The original purpose of a game device implementing this electronic game is to allow a user to select an object to be attacked by an intuitive operation. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2006-311966 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The game device described in Patent Document 1 repeats a process of complementing the trajectory of the touch operation in the direction of progress of the operation and a process of determining whether or not a closed figure has been completed in order to avoid giving a bad impression to the user about the operability. Therefore, even if the trajectory of the touch operation does not draw a closed figure, the closed figure may be considered to be completed. Therefore, the game device described in Patent Document 1 is inherently low in compatibility with a mechanism that changes the effect of an attack according to the completion point of a closed figure.
[0005] The problem that the present invention aims to solve is, in an electronic game in which effects are generated in association with a closed figure drawn by the trajectory of a series of touch operations on a touch panel, to add changes to the electronic game depending on the completion point of the closed figure. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to solve the above problem, an "information processing device" according to one aspect of the present invention includes a specifying means for specifying a relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on a trajectory of a series of touch operations and a comparison element associated with a completion point of the closed figure when the trajectory of the series of touch operations forms a closed figure, and a determining means for determining a change content of an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure according to the relative relationship specified by the specifying means. In order to solve the above problem, a "control method for an information processing device" according to one aspect of the present invention includes a specifying step for specifying a relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on the trajectory and a comparison element associated with a completion point of the closed figure when the trajectory of the series of touch operations forms a closed figure, and a determining step for determining a change content of an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure according to the relative relationship specified in the specifying step. In order to solve the above problem, the "control program" according to one aspect of the present invention causes a computer of an information processing device to realize a specific function for specifying a relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on a trajectory of a series of touch operations and a comparison element associated with a completion point of the closed figure when the trajectory of the series of touch operations forms a closed figure, and a determination function for determining a change content of an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure according to the relative relationship specified by the specific function. In order to solve the above problem, the "computer-readable recording medium" according to one aspect of the present invention records a program for causing a computer of an information processing device to realize a specific function for specifying a relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on a trajectory of a series of touch operations and a comparison element associated with a completion point of the closed figure when the trajectory of the series of touch operations forms a closed figure, and a determination function for determining a change content of an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure according to the relative relationship specified by the specific function.
[0007] The following technical limitations may be added to the "information processing device" according to one aspect of the present invention. The same technical limitations may also be added to the "control method" and "control program" according to one aspect of the present invention. For example, the determination means may be added with a technical limitation that the determination means determines the amount of change of a parameter that defines an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure. The following technical limitations may also be added to the "information processing device" to which the above technical limitations have been added. The same technical limitations may also be added to the "control method" and "control program" to which the above technical limitations have been added. For example, the reference element may be an element related to the position of an end point of the trajectory, the comparison element may be an element related to the position of a completion point of the closed figure, and the specification means may specify the degree of separation between the reference element and the comparison element as the relative relationship. Here, when the reference element is the starting position of the series of touch operations, it is preferable that the determination means determines the amount of change of the parameter so that the greater the degree of separation, the greater the amount of change, or so that the smaller the degree of separation, the greater the amount of change. On the other hand, when the reference element is the end position of the series of touch operations, it is preferable that the determination means determines the change amount of the parameter so that the smaller the separation is, the larger the change amount is, or the larger the separation is. In addition, for example, the reference element may be an element related to the input time of the end point of the trajectory, the comparison element is an element related to the completion time of the closed figure, and the specification means may specify the separation between the reference element and the comparison element as the relative relationship. Here, when the reference element is the start time of the series of touch operations, it is preferable that the determination means determines the change amount of the parameter so that the larger the separation is, or the smaller the separation is. On the other hand, when the reference element is the end time of the series of touch operations, it is preferable that the determination means determines the change amount of the parameter so that the smaller the separation is, the larger the change amount is, or the larger the separation is.The following technical limitations may be added to the "information processing device" according to one aspect of the present invention. The same technical limitations may also be added to the "control method" and "control program" according to one aspect of the present invention. For example, the technical limitations may be further added such that the reference element is a maximum length set for the length from the start point to the end point of the trajectory, the comparison element is a length from the start point of the trajectory to the completion point of the closed figure, and the determination means determines a change amount of a parameter that defines an effect that extends the maximum length. In this case, it is preferable that the specification means specifies the degree of separation between the reference element and the comparison element as the relative relationship each time the closed figure is formed, and the determination means determines the change amount of the parameter so that the smaller the degree of separation, the larger the change amount, or so that the larger the degree of separation, the larger the change amount. Effect of the Invention
[0008] In the present invention, the change content of the effect to be generated in association with the closed figure is determined according to the relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on the trajectory of a series of touch operations and a comparison element associated with the completion point of the closed figure formed by the trajectory. Therefore, if the content of the effect is changed according to the change content determined by the present invention, in an electronic game that generates an effect in association with a closed figure drawn by the trajectory of a series of touch operations on a touch panel, the electronic game is changed according to the completion point of the closed figure. [0010] [1. Embodiment] [1-1. Overview] This embodiment relates to an electronic game in which, when the trajectory of a series of touch operations (e.g., slide operations) on a touch panel draws a closed figure (e.g., a closed curve 101) (Fig. 1(a)), an effect is generated in association with a range that includes at least an internal area (e.g., a closed area 102) of the closed figure (Fig. 1(b)).
[0011] In this embodiment, the effects include at least one of the following: (a) Visual processing that changes the display (b) Auditory processing to output sound (c) Internal processing for changing parameters related to the user or the object When a closed figure is formed by a touch operation, the effect to be generated is selected from a plurality of effects according to the attributes of the first object that is the target of the touch operation and the attributes of the second object that exists in the area inside the closed figure. For example, it is preferable to select the effect according to the relationship between the first object and the second object.
[0012] In this embodiment, the change content of the effect to be generated in association with the closed figure is determined according to the relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on the trajectory of a series of touch operations and a comparison element associated with the completion point of the closed figure drawn by the trajectory. For example, the change content may be determined so that the processing content of the selected effect is changed, or the change content may be determined so that the selected effect is changed. Therefore, if the effect content is changed according to the change content determined by this embodiment, a change is made to the electronic game according to the completion point of the closed figure.
[0013] [1-2. Information Processing Device] The information processing device (e.g., a mobile device) according to this embodiment includes a specification unit that specifies a relative relationship between a reference element associated with a reference point on a trajectory of a series of touch operations when the trajectory forms a closed figure and a comparison element associated with a completion point of the closed figure, and a determination unit that determines a change content of an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure according to the relative relationship specified by the specification unit. It is preferable that the determination unit is configured to determine a change amount of a parameter that defines an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure.
[0014] [1-3. Definition of Terms and Specific Examples] In this embodiment, the term "reference element" refers to an element related to a reference point on the trajectory of a series of touch operations. For example, it includes an element related to the position of the end points (e.g., start point, end point) of the trajectory of a series of touch operations, an element related to the time when the end points (e.g., start point, end point) of the trajectory of a series of touch operations are input, and an element related to the length from the start point to the end point of the trajectory (e.g., maximum length). In this embodiment, the term "comparison element" refers to an element related to the completion point of a closed figure. For example, it includes an element related to the position of the completion point of a closed figure, an element related to the time when the completion point of a closed figure is input, and an element related to the length from the start point of the trajectory to the completion point of a closed figure (e.g., current length). In this embodiment, the term "relative relationship" refers to the degree of separation between the reference element and the comparison element. For example, it includes the difference between the numerical value specifying the reference element and the numerical value specifying the comparison element, the ratio between the numerical value specifying the reference element and the numerical value specifying the comparison element, and the like. EXAMPLES
[0015] 2. Working Examples [2-1. Overview] The overview of this embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 1. In this embodiment, This is an electronic game in which the player specifies the movement path of an object (player's character) to be operated by performing a slide operation on a touch panel each time a turn comes around. In this embodiment, when the trajectory of the slide operation traces a closed curve 101 (an example of a closed figure), an effect is generated in association with a range that includes at least a closed region 102 inside the closed curve. For example, the HP (hit points) of an object (enemy character) surrounded by the slide operation is reduced (i.e., damage is inflicted on the enemy character).
[0016] The main feature of this embodiment is that the amount of change in the parameters included in the setting information of the effect is determined according to the degree of separation between a reference element associated with the positions of the end points (start point 111, end point 112) on the trajectory of the slide operation and a comparison element associated with the position of the completion point (completion point 120) of a closed figure (closed curve 101) formed by the trajectory. If the parameters of the effect are changed according to the amount of change determined by this embodiment, a change is made to the electronic game according to the completion point of the closed figure.
[0017] [2-2. Network Configuration] Fig. 2 shows an example of the network configuration of the system of the embodiment. The system of the embodiment includes a user terminal 10, a user management server 20, and a data management server 30. The user terminal 10 and the user management server 20 can exchange data with each other via a communication network 40. In addition, the user management server 20 In response to a request, the data acquired from the user terminal 10 is written to the storage device 31 via the data management server 30, and the processing result is provided (response) to the user terminal 10. Note that a server system may be configured by linking multiple server devices together to share the functions of the user management server 20 or distribute the load on the user management server 20.

Note that a server system may be constituted by linking multiple server devices, and the functions of the data management server 30 may be shared or the load on the data management server 30 may be distributed. It is also possible to distribute data among multiple storage devices.
[0021] [2-3. Hardware configuration] [2-3-1. Hardware Configuration of User Device] An example of the hardware configuration of a user device is shown in Fig. 3. A typical user device has at least an MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) 311 constituting a control processing unit, a RAM (Random Access Memory) 321 constituting a main storage unit, a ROM (Read Only Memory) 322 and an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) 323 constituting an auxiliary storage unit, a touch panel display 331 constituting an input unit and a display unit, a speaker 332 constituting an audio output unit, and a NIC (Network Interface Controller) 341 and a wireless LAN (Local Area Network) chip 342 constituting a communication control unit.

[0025] [2-4. Functional Configuration] An example of the functional configuration of a user terminal is shown in Figure 5. The functions of the user terminal 10 are realized by installing an OS (Operating System) for user devices and a game program that runs on the OS in the user device.
[0026] The game program to be installed in the user device is generally supplied to the user device by being superimposed on a carrier wave via the communication network 40. The game program can be stored on various recording media (e.g., CD (Compact Disc), DVD, etc.). The software may be distributed in a state recorded on a digital versatile disk (Digital Versatile Disk), a magneto-optical disk (MO disk), a flash memory, etc., and read from the recording medium into the user device. Also, the software may be installed in the user device from the time of shipment.
[0027] 5, the user terminal 10 includes a display control unit 511, an audio control unit 512, a storage unit 521, a display unit 522, an input unit 523, an audio output unit 524, a detection unit 531, an identification unit 532, a determination unit 533, and a change unit 534. Of these, the storage unit 521 includes a RAM 321. The display unit 522 and the input unit 523 include a touch panel display 331. The audio output unit 524 includes a speaker 332.
[0028] The display control unit 511 selects video data stored in the storage unit 521 or the EEPROM 323 according to various parameters stored in the storage unit 521, and displays the selected video data on the display unit 522. The audio control unit 512 selects audio data stored in the storage unit 521 or the EEPROM 323 according to various parameters stored in the storage unit 521, and displays the selected audio data on the audio output unit 524. The storage unit 521 stores various parameters. The display unit 522 displays video under the control of the display control unit 511. The input unit 523 outputs a contact position on the touch panel. The audio output unit 524 plays audio under the control of the audio control unit 512.
[0029] The detection unit 531 activates the determination unit 532 when the trajectory of a series of touch operations (slide operations) in which contact positions on the input unit 523 are consecutive forms a closed curve. The determination unit 532 determines the relative relationship (in this embodiment, the degree of separation) between the reference element and the comparison element using data indicating the reference element and data indicating the comparison element. The determination unit 533 selects a parameter to be changed taking into account the internal state of the closed curve formed by the trajectory of the series of touch operations, and determines the amount of change of the parameter according to the relative relationship specified by the determination unit 532. The change unit 534 updates the data in the storage unit 521 so that the parameter to be changed selected by the determination unit 533 becomes a value changed by the amount of change determined by the determination unit 533.
[0030] [2-5. Parameters] FIG. 6(a) shows an example of items of user-related information. User-related information is a parameter related to a user who plays a game. As shown in FIG. 6(a), the user-related information includes a key item "user ID", a "total score" indicating the total value of the rewards held by the user, an "operation target object ID" identifying the object to be operated by the user, and a "slide operation remaining value" identifying the upper limit of the distance of the slide operation by the user. In this embodiment, the user-related information is assumed to have an initial value stored in the storage device 31 at the time of initial setting. In addition, the user-related information is assumed to be downloaded from the storage device 31 via the user management server 20 and the data management server 30 when the game program is started in the user terminal 10, and uploaded to the storage device 31 via the user management server 20 and the data management server 30 when the game program is ended.
[0031] Fig. 6(b) shows example items of object-related information. Object-related information is parameters related to objects (e.g., characters, items, etc.) that appear in the game. As shown in Fig. 6(b), the object-related information includes an "object ID" which is a key item, a "type code" which indicates the type of the object, a "current position" which indicates the display position of the object, and a "remaining HP" which indicates the HP (hit points) of the object.
[0032] Fig. 6(c) shows an example of items of the effect setting information. The effect setting information is a parameter for setting (defining) an effect to be generated when the trajectory of the slide operation forms a closed figure. As exemplified in Fig. 6(c), the effect setting information includes a key item "effect ID", a "visual processing code" that contributes to identifying visual processing, an "auditory processing code" that contributes to identifying auditory processing, an "internal processing code" that contributes to identifying internal processing, and a "processing level" that identifies the level of processing (for example, the magnitude of attack, recovery, etc., the width of the range of effect, etc.).
[0033] The contents of the visual processing, the auditory processing, and the internal processing are each defined separately in detail. As the contents of the visual processing, at least the file path of the image data (still image data, moving image data) to be displayed on the screen information and its display position are set. As the contents of the auditory processing, at least the file path of the audio data to be played back is set. As the contents of the internal processing, the parameters to be changed and the initial values of the amount of change are set.
[0034] Fig. 6(d) shows an example of items of the trajectory-related information. The trajectory-related information is a parameter related to the trajectory of a series of touch operations (slide operations) that specify the movement path of an object to be operated. As exemplified in Fig. 6(d), the object-related information includes a key item "trajectory ID", a "coordinate data group" indicating the positions of multiple points on the trajectory, a "start time" indicating the start time of the trajectory input, an "end time" indicating the end time of the trajectory input, a "closed figure flag" that is significant when the trajectory forms a closed figure, a "closed figure completion position" indicating the point where the trajectories intersect or a point close to this, and a "closed figure completion time" indicating the time where the trajectories intersect or a point close to this.
[0035] [2-6. Parameter Change Procedure] FIG. 7 shows the parameter change procedure. Each time a turn comes around, the user terminal 10 acquires data for identifying a trajectory according to the following procedure. [Procedure 1] Acquire contact position data (S710). [Procedure 2] Store the contact position data (S720). At this time, the time when the contact position was acquired is also stored. [Procedure 3] Determine whether or not the slide operation has ended (S730). If the slide operation has not ended (S730: No), return to [Procedure 1]. If the slide operation has ended (S730: Yes), proceed to [Procedure 4]. At this time, store the start time and end time of the slide operation.
[0036] Next, the user terminal 10 changes at least one type of parameter if the trajectory of the slide operation forms a closed figure. [Step 4] It is determined whether or not a closed figure has been drawn (S740). If a closed figure has not been drawn (S740: No), the process ends. If a closed figure has been drawn (S740: Yes), the process proceeds to [Step 5]. At this time, the position where the closed figure is completed is (or a position close to this) and time (or a time close to this). [Step 5] Identify the relative relationship between the reference element and the comparison element (S750). For example, identify at least one of the following: the distance between the start position and the completed position (A1), the distance between the end position and the completed position (A2), the distance between the start time and the completed time (B1), and the distance between the end time and the completed time (B2).
[0037] [Step 6] Select the parameter to be changed (S760). For example, select the parameter related to one object surrounded by the closed figure formed by the slide operation. Also, for example, the parameter may be selected according to the combination of the object to be operated (first object) and one object (second object) surrounded by the closed figure formed by the slide operation. In this embodiment, the "processing level" of the effect setting information (FIG. 6(c)) is selected. [Step 7] Determine the amount of change of the parameter selected in [Step 6] (S770). For example, the larger the separation (A1, B1) specified in [Step 5], the larger the amount of change, or the smaller the separation (A2, B2) is, the larger the amount of change. [Step 8] Change the parameter selected in [Step 6] by the amount of change determined in [Step 7] (S780).
[0038] [3. Modifications] [3-1. Parameters to be changed] In the above embodiment, the user terminal 10 is configured to change the "processing level" in the effect setting information (Fig. 6(c)) when a closed figure is completed (see [2-6. Parameter change procedure] above). Since an effect includes at least one of visual processing, auditory processing, and internal processing (see [1-1. Overview] above), if the "processing level" related to the effect is changed, the level of the effect (for example, the magnitude of attack, recovery, etc., and the width of the range of influence) that is generated changes. In response to this, at least one of the "visual processing code", "auditory processing code", and "internal processing code" in the effect setting information (Fig. 6(c)) may be changed. Also, a different effect may be executed by changing the referenced "effect ID".
[0039] [3-2. Timing for determining whether a closed figure has been completed] In the above embodiment, the user terminal 10 is configured to determine whether a closed figure has been completed after the slide operation is completed (see [2-6. Parameter change procedure] above). In contrast, the user terminal 10 may be configured to determine whether a closed figure has been completed in real time during the slide operation. If the determination of whether a closed figure has been completed in real time is performed, an effect can be generated during the slide operation (for example, immediately after the closed figure is completed).
[0040] [3-3. Effects when determining whether a closed figure is completed in real time] When determining whether a closed figure is completed during a slide operation (the above modified example [3-2. Timing for determining whether a closed figure is completed]), an effect may be generated when the closed figure is completed. Also, a plurality of effects with different properties may be generated both when the closed figure is completed and when the slide operation is completed. For example, an effect including an internal process for increasing the upper limit of the length of the trajectory is set on the premise that the upper limit is set, and the degree of increasing the upper limit can be determined according to the relative relationship between the reference element and the comparison element. Specifically, it is preferable to change the "processing level" (FIG. 6(c)) of the effect for increasing the "slide operation residual value" (FIG. 6(a)). The effect including an internal process for increasing the upper limit of the length of the trajectory may be configured to be activated only when a specific object (for example, an item for increasing the upper limit) is present in the internal area of the closed figure. The information processing device according to claim 3, further comprising: determining a degree of separation between the reference element and the comparison element each time the closed figure is formed; and determining an amount of change in the effect such that the smaller the degree of separation, the greater the amount of change; or determining a degree of change such that the greater the degree of separation, the greater the amount of change.
5. A program that causes a computer of an information processing device to realize a function of selecting an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure from among a plurality of effects according to the attributes of an object present in the area of the closed figure when the trajectory of a series of touch operations forms a closed figure, and determining the content of changes to the effect based on the trajectory.
6. An information processing method in which, when the trajectory of a series of touch operations forms a closed figure, an effect to be generated in association with the formed closed figure is selected from a plurality of effects according to the attributes of an object present in the area of the closed figure, and the content of the change to the effect is determined based on the trajectory.
