Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a guide light emitting device that emits guide light for guiding a surveying worker. [Background technology]
[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art In a surveying operation, a guide light emitting device that emits guide light is known as a device for guiding a surveying worker.
[0003] The guide light is a different color on the left and right sides of the collimation axis, and is irradiated toward the staking point. The staking worker visually recognizes the guide light, determines the direction to move by identifying the color, and is guided to the staking point by moving to the boundary position between the left and right colors.
[0004] Conventionally, a guide light emitting device has a light source and a right-angle mirror arranged opposite each other. The two light sources emit light of different colors, and the light is incident on two perpendicular reflecting surfaces of the right-angle mirror. The two colors of light reflected by the reflecting surfaces are emitted as guide light having a boundary. An example of a guide device is shown in Patent Document 1.
[0005] Conventional guide light emitting devices require two light sources of different colors and a right-angle mirror, and therefore require a large number of components and the light sources are arranged opposite each other, occupying a large space. Furthermore, the alignment work for the two light sources and the right-angle mirror is complicated.
[0006] In addition, in some cases, it may be desirable to expand the irradiation range of the guide light during staking work. For example, in a place where there is a difference in elevation at the staking work site, expanding the irradiation range of the guide light in the vertical direction so that the worker does not lose sight of the guide light contributes to improving workability.
[0007] Conventionally, there are devices disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 that expand the irradiation range of guide light in the vertical direction.
[0008] Patent document 1 discloses that multiple irradiators are used to irradiate guide light that is a combination of two colors of light, and the irradiation range is expanded by changing the angle of the irradiation direction of the irradiators, while Patent document 2 discloses that the light beam is diffused in the vertical direction by a cylindrical lens.
[0009] Conventional systems use multiple irradiators, which increases the number of parts and complicates the structure, and also requires position adjustment between the irradiators. In addition, when the light beam is diffused vertically by a cylindrical lens, the amount of light decreases, which reduces visibility when working at a distance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0023] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0024] FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram for showing an overview of a guide light emitting device 1 according to this embodiment, and shows a state in a staking work site having an elevation difference.
[0025] The guide light emitting device 1 is attached to the upper surface of a total station 2 , and the optical axis of the guide light emitting device 1 is set parallel to the collimation optical axis of the total station 2 .
[0026] In Fig. 1, reference numeral 3 denotes a pole on which a prism 4 is provided. Note that Fig. 1 shows a state in which the pole 3 is installed at a staking point 5.
[0027] The total station 2 is installed at a known point, and the sighting direction is set to the staking point 5 .
[0028] The guide light 7 is irradiated from the guide light irradiating device 1 toward the pole 3 .
[0029] The guide light 7 is expanded vertically, and the cross section of the light beam is an ellipsoid with the major axis in the vertical direction. The guide light 7 is colored in different colors on the left and right sides with the optical axis of the guide light 7 as the boundary. For example, when viewed from the guide light emitting device 1 side, the right side 7a of the guide light 7 is blue light, and the left side 7b is red light. In the drawing, the boundary between the red light and the blue light is indicated by 7e.
[0030] When guiding a construction worker during construction work, if the construction worker recognizes the guide light 7 as blue, it can be determined that he is to the left of the construction point 5, and the worker will be guided to the construction point by moving to the right (Figure 2(A)).
[0031] In a staking work site with a difference in elevation, for example, when there is a depression in the ground, when the worker moves in the depression, the worker also moves downward. In this embodiment, since the guide light 7 expands vertically, even if the worker moves downward, the worker does not leave the irradiation range of the guide light 7 and the guidance continues (FIG. 2(B)).
[0032] The first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 3(A), 3(B) and 4. FIG.
[0033] Fig. 3(A) is a schematic diagram showing a main part of the optical system of the guide light emitting device 1. Fig. 3(A) shows an elevational view of the optical system, in which the upper side indicates the top, the lower side indicates the bottom, and the right side indicates the front.
[0034] 3A, reference numeral 11 denotes a guide light projection optical system. The guide light projection optical system 11 has a plurality of light sources 12 and a plurality of projection lenses 14 corresponding to the light sources 12 on an optical axis 13 of the light sources 12.
[0035] In this embodiment, three light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c are provided, and illumination lenses 14a, 14b, and 14c are provided on the optical axes 13a, 13b, and 13c of the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c, respectively. A common spectroscopic plate 15 is provided between the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c and the illumination lenses 14a, 14b, and 14c, close to the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c.
[0036] The light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c are provided so that the optical axes 13a, 13b, and 13c are positioned on the same vertical plane, and the light sources 12b and 12c are disposed symmetrically above and below the optical axis 13a. The optical axes 13b and 13c are inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the optical axis 13a. Here, the optical axis 13a is set parallel to the collimation optical axis.
[0037] An irradiation lens 14a is provided on the optical axis 13a, and the optical axis of the irradiation lens 14a coincides with the optical axis 13a. The focal position of the irradiation lens 14a is set to be at the position of the spectroscopic plate 15 or the position of the light source 12a, or near the position of the spectroscopic plate 15 or near the position of the light source 12a. Note that the vicinity of the focal position of the irradiation lens 14a includes the focal position.
[0038] Similarly, the illumination lenses 14b and 14c are provided on the optical axes 13b and 13c, and the optical axes of the illumination lenses 14b and 14c coincide with the optical axes 13b and 13c, respectively. The focal positions of the illumination lenses 14b and 14c are set to be at the position of the spectroscopic plate 15 or the positions of the light sources 12b and 12c, or near the position of the spectroscopic plate 15 or near the positions of the light sources 12b and 12c.
[0039] Fig. 5 shows the basic configuration of the illumination lens, the spectral plate, and the light source in this embodiment, and is a plan view of the portion related to the light source 12a in Fig. 3. Note that the light sources 12b and 12c are similar to the light source 12a, so a description thereof will be omitted.
[0040] The light source 12a is a broadband light source that emits light having a wide band of wavelengths, and is, for example, an LED that emits visible white light.
[0041] The spectral plate 15 has color elements 17 (17a, 17b) formed on the surface of a transparent substrate 16 (see FIG. 4), and the color elements 17 have optical characteristics in which the regions 17a, 17b on the left and right of a boundary 17e passing through the optical axis 13a have different spectral transmittances. For example, a dichroic film is used as the color elements 17. The boundary 17e, i.e., the boundary line, is set to be located on a vertical plane including the optical axes 13a, 13b, and 13c.
[0042] In addition, either one of the regions 17a and 17b, for example the region 17b, may not have a dichroic film or may have only an AR coating, in which case the guide light will be two colors, red light and white light.
[0043] In the above description, in FIG. 5, the color-developing element 17 is provided on the surface of the spectral plate 15 facing the illumination lens 14a, but it may be provided on the surface of the spectral plate 15 facing the light source 12a.
[0044] The color-developing element 17 is a dichroic film, and for example, the spectral transmission wavelength of the right region 17a is 400 nm to 500 nm (blue), and the spectral transmission wavelength of the left region 17b is 650 nm to 750 nm (red).
[0045] FIG. 6 shows an example of the relationship between the spectral characteristics of the LED, the transmittance characteristics of the dichroic film in the region 17a, and the spectral characteristics of the LED after transmission through the dichroic film.
[0046] The transmittance characteristic of the dichroic film in region 17a is 400nm to 500nm, so the light transmitted through region 17a is blue light. Although not shown, if the transmittance characteristic of the dichroic film in region 17b is 650nm to 750nm, the light transmitted through region 17b is red light.
[0047] The white light emitted from the light source 12a passes through the spectrometer 15, and is emitted as guide light 18 with blue light 18a on the right side and red light 18b on the left side, and the boundary 18e indicating the position of the optical axis, and further passes through the illumination lens 14a, and is irradiated toward the measurement point as guide light 18 of approximately parallel light beam (light beam having a predetermined spread angle).
[0048] The color-developing element 17 is not limited to a dichroic film, and can be modified in various ways, such as an absorbing film that absorbs a specific wavelength, colored glass of a different color, a coating of phosphor to change the wavelength, an EW element, or a combination of a dichroic film and phosphor.
[0049] Next, the relationship between the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c and the spectroscopic plate 15 will be described.
[0050] As described above, the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c are arranged so that their optical axes are positioned on the same vertical plane. Furthermore, the light sources 12b and 12c are arranged symmetrically above and below the optical axis 13a, and the optical axes 13b and 13c of the light sources 12b and 12c are inclined at a predetermined angle α above and below the optical axis 13a.
[0051] The spectroscopic plate 15 has a rectangular shape that is elongated in the vertical direction, and has the region 17a and the region 17b on the left and right of the boundary 17e that extends in the longitudinal direction.
[0052] The light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c are provided adjacent to the spectroscopic plate 15, and white visible light 18a, 18b, and 18c emitted from the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c are transmitted through the spectroscopic plate 15 and enter the illumination lenses 14a, 14b, and 14c, respectively.
[0053] The light beams 18a, 18b, and 18c are condensed by the projection lenses 14a, 14b, and 14c to a predetermined divergence angle β, respectively, and the light beams 18a, 18b, and 18c are collected and projected as a guide beam 18 having a boundary 18e.
[0054] The optical axis 13b and the optical axis 13c are inclined at a predetermined angle α with respect to the optical axis 13a, and the relationship between this inclination angle α and the spread angle β is set so that at least the light 18a and the light 18b, and the light 18a and the light 18c, respectively, partially overlap each other, and no discontinuous portions of the light beam are generated between the light 18a, 18b and the light 18a, 18c when irradiated as the guide light 18.
[0055] In this embodiment, the spread angle of the guide light 18 is 2×α+β in the vertical direction and β in the horizontal direction. The vertical length (length in the up-down direction) and horizontal length (width) of the spectroscopic plate 15 are set to the lengths through which the light beams 18a, 18b, and 18c emitted from the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c pass.
[0056] The inclination angle α and the spread angle β are appropriately determined according to the working environment. In the above embodiment, the number of light sources is three, but it is not limited to three, and may be two or four or more.
[0057] In this embodiment, the guide light 18 can be emitted with a large vertical spread angle. Furthermore, since the vertical spread angle is obtained by arranging multiple light sources, there is no decrease in the light quantity and brightness due to the large spread angle of the guide light 18. Therefore, visibility for the worker is not impaired.
[0058] In the above embodiment, the guide light 18 is expanded in the vertical direction. However, when expanding the guide light 18 in the horizontal direction, the above-described configuration can be rotated by 90° in the horizontal direction so that the optical axes 13a, 13b, 13c and the boundary 18e are included in the same horizontal plane.
[0059] That is, the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c, the spectroscopic plate 15, and the irradiation lenses 14a, 14b, and 14c may be rotated integrally by 90 degrees.
[0060] 7(A) and 7(B) show a second embodiment.
[0061] In the second embodiment, the arrangement of the light sources 12a, 12b, 12c and the illumination lenses 14a, 14b, 14c is the same as in the first embodiment, but the light splitter plate 15 is divided into small light splitters 15a, 15b, 15c, and each small light splitter plate 15a, 15b, 15c corresponds to the light sources 12a, 12b, 12c, respectively. The small light splitters 15a, 15b, 15c may have any shape such as a rectangular plate or a circular plate, but in this embodiment, they are rectangular plates.
[0062] Each of the small light-splitting plates 15a, 15b, and 15c is divided into left and right regions, and color-producing elements 17 (17a, 17b) with different spectral characteristics are formed in the left and right regions. The boundaries formed by each of the small light-splitting plates 15a, 15b, and 15c are set to be located on a vertical plane including the optical axes of the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c.
[0063] By dividing the small light beam plates 15a, 15b, and 15c to correspond to the light sources 12a, 12b, and 12c, the small light beam plates 15a, 15b, and 15c need only be large enough to transmit the smallest part of the light beam diameter of the light 18a, 18b, and 18c, making it possible to miniaturize them.
[0064] Furthermore, by unitizing the light source 12a, the small light plate 15a, and the irradiation lens 14a into a guide light irradiation unit 19a (the light sources 12b, 12c, the small light plate 15b, 15c, and the irradiation lenses 14b, 14c are similarly unitized into guide light irradiation units 19b, 19c), the freedom of configuration and arrangement of the guide light irradiation optical system 11 is increased.
[0065] Fig. 8(A) and Fig. 8(B) show the main part of the guide light irradiating optical system 11 of the third embodiment. In Fig. 8(A) and Fig. 8(B), the same reference numerals are given to the same parts as those shown in Fig. 7(A) and Fig. 7(B), and the description thereof will be omitted.
[0066] In the above first and second embodiments, the guide light 18 is transmitted through the spectral plate 15 to color the light, but in the third embodiment, the spectral plate 15 is a reflector, and coloring is performed by reflecting the light at the spectral plate 15. Also, Fig. 8 shows a case where two light sources 12a and 12b are included as the light source.
[0067] The light sources 12a and 12b are provided symmetrically above and below with respect to an optical axis 13 of the guide light emitting optical system 11. The optical axis 13 is set parallel to the collimation optical axis.
[0068] Small reflectors 21a and 21b are provided facing the light sources 12a and 12b, respectively, and irradiation lenses 14a and 14b are provided on the reflected light axes 22a and 22b of the small reflectors 21a and 21b, respectively. The small reflectors 21a and 21b constitute the spectroscopic plate 15. The optical axes of the light sources 12a and 12b and the reflected light axes 22a and 22b are set to be located in the same vertical plane.
[0069] The light sources 12a and 12b have the same configuration, so the light source 12a will be described below.
[0070] The color-producing elements 17 are formed on the reflecting surface of the small reflector 21a.
[0071] The coloring elements 17 (17a, 17b) have optical characteristics in which the regions 17a, 17b on the left and right of a boundary 17e passing through the optical axis 13a have different spectral transmittances (see FIG. 4). As the coloring elements 17, for example, a dichroic film is used.
[0072] The color-developing element 17 is not limited to a dichroic film, but may be, for example, an absorbing film that absorbs a specific wavelength, or a phosphor that is applied to change the wavelength.
[0073] Also, it is not necessary to form a dichroic film on either one of the regions 17a and 17b, for example, on the region 17b. In this case, the guide light will be two colors, blue light and white light.
[0074] The white light emitted from the light source 12a is reflected by the color-emitting elements 17a and 17b, whereby it is colored and is emitted as guide light 18a having a boundary 18e.
[0075] Similarly, for the light source 12b, a guide light 18b having a boundary 18e is emitted from the projection lens 14b, and the upper and lower guide lights 18a, 18b are gathered together and projected as the guide light 18.
[0076] Here, the boundary 17e between the color-producing elements 17a, 17b formed on the small reflectors 21a, 21b is arranged to be located in a vertical plane including the optical axes of the light sources 12a, 12b and the reflected optical axes 22a, 22b. Therefore, in the collected guide light 18, the boundary 18e appears as a vertical straight line passing through the optical axis 13.
[0077] In the third embodiment, the light source 12a, the small reflector 21a, the irradiation lens 14a, and the light source 12b, the small reflector 21b, and the irradiation lens 14b may be unitized as the guide light irradiation unit 23a and the guide light irradiation unit 23b, respectively.
[0078] Fig. 9 shows a modified example of the color-developing element 17. In Fig. 9, the same reference numerals are used to designate the same elements as those shown in Fig. 4.
[0079] In this modified example, the color-producing element 17 is divided into two regions 17a and 17b, and a gradation of color or brightness is provided to the color-producing elements formed in these regions 17a and 17b.
[0080] The area 17a has a gradation in which the color and brightness change gradually from the bottom to the top in the figure, while the area 17b has a gradation in which the color and brightness change gradually from the bottom to the top in the figure, which is the opposite to that of the area 17a.
[0081] Incidentally, gradation can be formed by, for example, providing a gradient in the thickness of the dichroic film.
[0082] A color gradation is formed in the guide light 18, so that the stakeout worker can intuitively determine in which direction he or she should move by recognizing the color.
[0083] The fourth embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 10 to 13. In Figures 10 to 13, the same reference numerals are used to designate the same parts as those shown in Figure 7.
[0084] In the fourth embodiment, a plurality of light sources 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, and 12e are arranged three-dimensionally. The light sources 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, and 12e emit broadband light (for example, visible white light) in the same manner as in the above embodiments.
[0085] 10 is a front view, FIG. 11 is a view taken along an arrow A in FIG. 10, and FIG. 12 is a view taken along an arrow B in FIG.
[0086] Light source 12a is disposed on optical axis 13a, and light sources 12b, 12c and light sources 12d, 12e are disposed symmetrically above, below and to the left and right of optical axis 13a. Furthermore, the color of the light that passes through the region 29d matches the color of the light that passes through the region 25d.
[0110] Moreover, the horizontal boundary line formed by the small light dividing plate 15e coincides with the horizontal boundary line formed by the small light dividing plate 15a.
[0111] The guide light emitted from the guide light emitting units 19b, 19c, 19d, and 19e are collected and irradiated from the guide light irradiating optical system 11 as an aggregate guide light 31. The collected state of the aggregate guide light 31 is shown in FIG.
[0112] A vertical boundary 31a and a horizontal boundary 31b are formed in the collective guide light 31, and the intersection of the boundary 31a and the boundary 31b coincides with the optical axis 13a. The optical axis 13a is parallel to the collimation optical axis.
[0113] If the four regions defined by the boundary 31a and the boundary 31b are a first quadrant 32a, a second quadrant 32b, a third quadrant 32c, and a fourth quadrant 32d, the first quadrant 32a is light colored by the regions 25a, 26a, and 29a. The fourth quadrant 32d is light colored by the regions 25d, 27d, and 29d.
[0114] Since the first quadrant 32a, the second quadrant 32b, the third quadrant 32c, and the fourth quadrant 32d are each different in color, the boundaries 31a and 31b can be clearly identified, and further, the surveying worker can recognize which quadrant he is in by recognizing the color of the collective guide light 31, and can determine the direction of movement.
[0115] Furthermore, by recognizing the change in color of the collective guide light 31, the boundaries 31a and 31b can be recognized, and the direction of movement toward the optical axis 13a can be recognized.
[0116] According to the fourth embodiment, the collective guide light 31 can be recognized over a wide range, and the horizontal and vertical movement directions can be recognized by distinguishing the colors. In addition, since the collective guide light 31 is formed by light from a plurality of light sources 12, a decrease in the light quantity and brightness is suppressed even when irradiated over a wide range, and visibility for the surveying worker is not impaired.
[0117] Furthermore, in this embodiment as well, the light transmitted through the small light plates 15b, 15c, 15d, and 15e may be configured to form a gradation so that the direction of movement can be determined. [Explanation of symbols]
