Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for installing a distillation column. [Background technology]

[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art In industrial plants such as petrochemical plants, distillation columns are used to extract desired components from raw materials (see Patent Document 1). In a distillation tower, the raw material is introduced into the tower, and specific components are distilled using the difference in boiling point temperature, and the steam recovered from the top of the tower is passed through a condenser to produce a distillate. A portion of the resulting distillate is taken out as a product, and the rest is returned to the distillation tower as reflux.

[0003] As an industrial distillation column, a plate-type distillation column in which a plurality of trays are arranged in a multi-stage shelf form is used (see Patent Document 2). In a tray-type distillation column, multiple horizontal trays are installed at regular intervals inside a vertically extending cylindrical column. The feedstock is usually fed to the middle height of the column, and the more volatile vapor is sent to the upper trays and recovered from the top of the column. The less volatile liquid phase is sent to the lower trays and discharged from the bottom of the column. As trays for a tray-type distillation column, there are used sieve trays, which have a plate-like tray body with many fine through-holes to allow steam to pass upward, and bubble cap trays, which have cylindrical risers rising from the through-holes and are covered with caps to bubble the liquid phase with the passing steam.

[0004] Distillation towers inevitably undergo wear and deterioration during operation, and renewal work is carried out at regular intervals. In order to minimize the downtime of distillation towers, a replacement method is adopted for distillation tower renewal work. That is, a work area is secured near the distillation tower in operation, and a new distillation tower is assembled there in a vertically extending cylindrical shape. If it is a tray-type, multiple trays are installed inside the cylindrical tower body. Once the new distillation tower is completed, the existing distillation tower is removed and the new distillation tower is brought in and installed in its place. This allows the existing distillation tower to continue operating during the construction period of the new distillation tower, minimizing the downtime. To further shorten the on-site construction time, the distillation tower may be divided into several parts vertically and constructed in a separate factory. Each part is then transported to the site and stacked one on top of the other in the space vacated by the existing distillation tower. The end openings of the divided parts are butted together and welded all around to connect them, thereby completing the entire distillation tower. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2016-16379 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2010-126370 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] In the above-mentioned distillation tower renewal work, the tower body was assembled in an upright position, vertically, just like when it was installed. The assembly work for such a distillation column, especially the tray type, had the following problems: First, the trays were lifted by a crane and lowered into the tower through a special opening at the top of the tower. This process was repeated each time multiple trays were installed, occupying the crane for long periods of time. Secondly, workers who install the trays inside the column enter and exit through an opening at the top of the column or a manhole near the middle of the column, which required the construction of a large-scale scaffold around the distillation column so that workers could travel from the ground to the top or middle of the column. Thirdly, since the new distillation tower was to be assembled near the existing one, the foundation was temporary, and wires had to be installed around the tower to prevent it from falling over. For this reason, the work site for assembling the new distillation tower needed to be large enough to accommodate the wires extending in all directions. Thus, conventional distillation column assembly work requires the occupation of a crane for long periods of time, a large-scale work scaffold, or a vast work area, which inevitably makes the construction more complicated and prolonged, and there has been a demand for a solution to this problem. Eliminating the complexity and length of construction work required for assembling such distillation columns has been desired not only in the renewal work of existing distillation columns, but also in the construction of new distillation columns.

[0007] An object of the present invention is to provide a method for installing a distillation column which can simplify and shorten the construction time. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] The present invention relates to a method for installing a distillation column on a foundation, the method comprising the steps of: The tower body is held in a horizontal position, the tray is installed inside the tower body in the horizontal position, and the tower body with the tray installed is raised to an upright position and fixed onto the foundation.

[0009] In the present invention, a work area is secured near the foundation of the distillation tower, and each step is carried out there. In the case of a distillation tower renewal work, an existing foundation on which an operating distillation tower is installed is used as the foundation, and in the case of a new distillation tower installation work, a newly formed foundation is used. In the secured work site, the cylindrical tower body is supported in a laid-down state. The tower body is fixed to the foundation in an upright state in which the tower body extends vertically, but when the trays are installed, the tower body is laid down in a laid-down state in which it extends horizontally. By supporting the cylindrical tower body on its side, the opening at the end of the tower body is located close to the ground. Then, by installing a minimum of temporary stairs at the opening at the end of the tower body, workers can easily and safely enter the inside of the tower body. Workers enter the tower body through the opening at the end of the tower body with the components that will become the trays, and install the trays one by one from the back to the front. Since the tower body is in a sideways position during installation, each tray, which forms a horizontal surface when upright, is arranged like a vertical wall. In this way, in the present invention, the trays can be carried into the tower by workers, and the trays can be supported by the inner surface of the tower during installation, so that the process of installing multiple trays inside the tower does not require the use of a crane. Furthermore, the use of a crane can be minimized by minimizing the work of lifting the tower upright and fixing it to the foundation, and the use of a crane can be significantly reduced. In addition, with the present invention, the end openings through which workers enter and exit are located close to the ground, eliminating the need for large-scale scaffolding or working at height, eliminating the need to install wires to prevent falls, and significantly reducing the amount of land area required for assembly and construction. As a result, the complexity and length of work required for installing a distillation column can be eliminated, and the construction can be simplified and shortened.

[0010] In the method for installing a distillation column of the present invention, it is preferable that the tray is divided into a plurality of pieces, the pieces are carried into the interior of the column body, and the pieces are assembled inside the column body to install the tray. In the present invention, each of the multiple pieces is made to be of a size and weight that can be lifted by a worker, for example, so that they can be transported inside the tower without using a crane and easily assembled into a tray inside the tower. The pieces may be formed by dividing the planar shape of the tray (the shape that appears on the top surface when the distillation column is upright) into strips, a lattice, or a radial shape. A configuration in which a support frame is installed inside the column body and the pieces are sequentially attached to the support frame may be used to assemble the pieces into a tray. A beam called a downcomer that also serves as a weir may be used as the support frame. Alternatively, a structural member may be formed integrally or separately on the back surface of the pieces, and the structural members may be connected to each other when the pieces are assembled, and connected to a support member formed at the tray installation site inside the column body.

[0011] In the distillation column installation method of the present invention, a connecting jig is used as a jig for adjusting a clearance between an upper piece and a lower piece that are vertically adjacent to each other in a state in which the column body is laid on its side, the connecting jig having an upper engaging portion that can engage with the uneven shape of the upper piece, a lower engaging portion that can engage with the uneven shape of the lower piece, and a connecting portion that connects the upper engaging portion and the lower engaging portion, It is preferable to support the lower piece inside the tower body, engage the lower engagement portion of the connecting jig with the uneven shape of the lower piece, position the upper piece above the connecting jig, engage the uneven shape of the upper piece with the upper engagement portion, and fix the upper piece to the tower body. In this invention, when the upper piece is fixed above the previously fixed lower piece, the desired clearance can be easily and reliably secured between the lower piece and the upper piece using a connecting jig. The uneven shape of the lower piece and the upper piece may be, for example, holes or openings formed in the pieces, or bubble cap risers or the like, or a dedicated uneven shape may be used. In order to prevent the connecting jig engaged with the lower piece from falling off, temporary fastening members such as bolts, nuts, clips, etc. may be used to temporarily fasten the connecting jig and the lower piece.

[0012] In the method for installing a distillation column of the present invention, as a jig for adjusting a clearance between an inner surface of the column body that is on the lower side when the column body is laid on its side and a lower end of the tray, a first jig having a main body portion extending in a circumferential direction of the column body and an engaging portion extending in a direction intersecting the main body portion, a second jig having an L-shape in which an action portion engageable with the engaging portion and an operation portion operable by an operator are continued at a bent portion, and a third jig extending in the circumferential direction of the column body and capable of engaging an end of the main body portion in the circumferential direction of the column body is used, It is preferable to place the third jig and the third jig, fix the third jig to the inner surface of the tower body, place the lower end of the tray on the main body part of the first jig, abut the bending part of the second jig against the inner surface of the tower body while engaging the acting part with the engaging part of the first jig, and operate the operating part of the second jig to lift the engaging part, thereby lifting the part of the main body part of the first jig opposite the third jig, and lift the lower end of the tray placed on the lifted main body part to adjust the clearance between the inner surface of the tower body. In the present invention, the tray placed on the first jig can be lifted by raising the first jig with the second jig, and a desired clearance can be secured between the bottom end of the tray and the inner surface of the tower body, and the tray can be fixed to the inner surface of the tower body in this state. At this time, the first jig can be easily raised by using the second jig as a lever. In addition, when raising the first jig, the third jig can prevent the first jig from shifting. It should be noted that what is placed on the first jig may be the entire tray, or a piece that is a part of the tray. Effect of the Invention

[0015] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In Fig. 1, a distillation column 1 has a vertically extending cylindrical column body 10. The lower end of column body 10 is fixed to a foundation 2. The tower body 10 is divided into two parts, an upper tower body 11 and a lower tower body 12. The upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 are joined to each other by butting end openings 111, 121, which are the divided parts, together and welding them all around, and are integrated as the tower body 10.

[0016] A plurality of trays 20 are installed in the form of multiple shelves inside the tower body 10. The plurality of trays 20 are supported horizontally and arranged at predetermined intervals in the height direction. The trays 20 divide the interior of the tower body 10 into a plurality of compartments in the height direction. As the plurality of trays 20, a plurality of upper trays 21, 22 are alternately installed inside the upper tower body 11. Also, a plurality of lower trays 23, 24 are alternately installed inside the lower tower body 12.

[0017] In FIG. 2, the upper trays 21 and 22 installed inside the upper tower body 11 are each formed as a circular plate with a portion cut off, and the cut edges 211 and 221 of the upper tray 21 and the upper tray 22 are arranged facing opposite to each other. These upper trays 21, 22 divide the interior of the upper tower body 11 into a plurality of compartments in the height direction, but the spaces of each compartment are connected to each other through the gaps between each edge 211, 221 of the upper trays 21, 22 and the inner surface of the upper tower body 11. The upper trays 21 and 22 are so-called sieve trays, and have many fine holes formed therein through the front and back to allow steam to pass upward (not shown). The upper trays 21 and 22 may be bubble cap trays similar to the lower trays 23 and 24 described later.

[0018] 3, of the lower trays 23, 24 installed inside the lower tower body 12, the lower tray 23 is formed in a circular plate shape with both ends cut off, and the spaces of the upper and lower compartments of the lower tray 23 are connected to each other through the gap between the cut edges 231 on both sides and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12. On the other hand, the lower tray 24 is formed in a shape in which a circular plate member is divided into two in the middle, and the spaces of the upper and lower compartments of the lower tray 24 are connected to each other through the gap between a pair of edges 241 facing each other at the divided part. The lower trays 23 and 24 are so-called bubble cap trays, and are formed with a large number of bubble caps (not shown) that promote gas-liquid contact by holes penetrating from the front to the back and the caps.

[0019] Returning to FIG. 1 , a raw material supply pipe 13 is connected to the middle of the tower body 10, a vapor recovery pipe 14 is connected to the top of the tower, and a liquid phase recovery pipe 15 is connected to the bottom of the tower. The raw material supply pipe 13 is connected near the division position of the tower body 10, for example, to the upper end of the lower tower body 12. The raw material supply pipe 13 may be connected to another position of the tower body 10. The raw material supplied from the raw material supply pipe 13 flows down through each section of the lower tower body 12 while being received by the lower trays 23, 24, and is heated during the process, causing the volatile components to rise to the upper sections. The volatile components that rise into the interior of the upper tower body 11 are partially liquefied and received by the upper trays 21, 22, and distilled into components with higher volatility toward the upper stages, and the desired distillation product is recovered from the vapor recovery pipe 14. The liquid phase components that flow down to the bottom of the lower tower body 12 are recovered from the liquid phase recovery pipe 15.

[0020] In this embodiment, the multiple trays 20 installed inside the tower body 10 are each composed of multiple pieces 30. The multiple pieces 30 are obtained by dividing the planar shape of the tray 20 into strips, a lattice, or a radial shape, and each piece is of a size and weight that can be lifted by a worker. FIG. 4 shows a lower tray 23 installed in the lower tower body 12 as an example of a tray 20 composed of such a plurality of pieces 30.

[0021] 4, the contour of the lower tray 23 is formed by a pair of straight edges 231 on both sides and arc-shaped edges connecting the ends of the edges 231. The lower tray 23 is divided into eight pieces 30 by parting lines parallel to or perpendicular to the edges 231. The pieces 30 include a first piece 31 and a second piece 32 that are disposed midway between a pair of edges 231 and extend parallel to the edges 231. A third piece 33, a fourth piece 34, and a fifth piece 35 are disposed along the first piece 31. A sixth piece 36, a seventh piece 37, and an eighth piece 38 are disposed along the second piece 32.

[0022] In order to support these first piece 31 to eighth piece 38, a support frame 40 is fixed to the inner surface of the lower tower body 12. As the support frame 40, a beam called a downcomer, which also serves as a weir, can be used. As the support frame 40 , a support ring 41 made of an arc-shaped plate material is fixed along the inner surface of the lower tower body 12 in an area facing a pair of arc-shaped edges of the lower tray 23 . A plurality of main beams 42 are suspended so as to connect the pair of support rings 41 . The main beams 42 are disposed at the joints of the first piece 31 and the second piece 32 and on both sides of each of them, and are disposed along each of a pair of end edges 231 . A plurality of sub-beams 43 are spanned between the main beams 42 along a pair of end edges 231 and adjacent main beams 42 . The secondary beam 43 is disposed at the joints between the third piece 33, the fourth piece 34, and the fifth piece 35, and at the joints between the sixth piece 36, the seventh piece 37, and the eighth piece 38. The main beam 42 and the sub-beams 43 are each formed from a long plate material or an angle material, and the first piece 31 to the eighth piece 38 are placed on the surface of each beam and fixed by bolts.

[0023] Similar to the above-mentioned lower tray 23, in the lower tray 24 and upper trays 21 and 22, each tier of trays 20 is formed by a plurality of pieces 30 supported by a support frame 40. The divided shape of the pieces 30 in each tray 20 can be selected according to the shape or installation location of each tray 20. A plurality of such trays 20 are installed inside the column body 10 to form the distillation column 1.

[0024] The procedure for constructing the above-mentioned distillation column 1 on the foundation 2 is as follows. As for Foundation 2, if the work is to renovate a distillation tower, the existing foundation on which the operating distillation tower is installed will be used, and if the work is to install a new distillation tower, a newly formed foundation will be used. In carrying out this work, a work area of a predetermined size is secured near the foundation 2 on which the distillation column 1 is to be constructed, and the upper column body 11 and the lower column body 12 are assembled there.

[0025] As shown in Fig. 5, in a work site of a predetermined size secured near a foundation 2 for constructing a distillation column 1, an upper column body 11 and a lower column body 12 are assembled into a cylindrical shape in a horizontal state. A support stand 51 is used to support the upper column body 11 and the lower column body 12 in a horizontal state. A temporary staircase 52 is arranged toward the end openings 111, 121 of the upper column body 11 and the lower column body 12, and a worker 53 can enter the inside of the upper column body 11 and the lower column body 12 from the end openings 111, 121.

[0026] As shown in Fig. 6, a plurality of trays 20 are installed inside the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12. Since the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 are laid on their sides, each tray 20 is arranged in the form of a vertical wall. Each tray 20 is assembled by a worker 53 successively bringing in a plurality of pieces 30 that will become the tray 20 and fixing them to a predetermined installation site.

[0027] As an example of a tray 20 assembled from multiple pieces 30, the aforementioned lower tray 23 (see Figure 4) is assembled by assembling a support frame 40 inside the lower tower body 12, and supporting eight pieces 30, from the first piece 31 to the eighth piece 38, on this support frame 40. In supporting the piece 30, first the two central pieces, the first piece 31 and the second piece 32, are attached, and then the fifth piece 35 and the eighth piece 38 are attached on either side of them. Next, the fourth piece 34 and the third piece 33 are attached on top of the fifth piece 35. Furthermore, the seventh piece 37 and the sixth piece 36 are attached on top of the eighth piece 38.

[0028] When supporting the bottom eighth piece 38 and fifth piece 35, and the central first piece 31 and second piece 32 on the support frame 40, it is necessary to ensure a certain clearance between the lower end of each piece and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12 facing it. For this purpose, before each piece 30 is fixed to the support frame 40, each piece 30 is lifted up from the inner surface of the lower tower body 12 using a special jig. In FIG. 7, for example, when the second piece 32 is supported on the support frame 40, a clearance C1 is required between the lower end of the second piece 32 and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12. Therefore, using the first jig 61, the second jig 62, and the third jig 63, the second piece 32 is lifted up to expand the gap between it and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12, and the second piece 32 is fixed to the support frame 40 while ensuring clearance C1.

[0029] In FIG. 8, a first jig 61, a second jig 62, and a third jig 63 are formed of a long steel material or a steel bar. The first jig 61 has a main body 611 extending in the circumferential direction of the lower tower body 12, an upright portion 612 standing like an inner flange from a side edge of the main body 611, and an engagement portion 613 fixed to the main body 611 and extending in a direction intersecting the main body 611. The main body 611 and the upright portion 612 can be manufactured, for example, by bending an L-shaped steel into an arc. The engagement portion 613 can be formed by welding an L-shaped bar to the main body 611. The second jig 62 is formed from an L-shaped rod and has an action portion 621 that can engage with the engagement portion 613 of the first jig 61, an operation portion 622 that can be operated by an operator, and a bending portion 623 that connects the action portion 621 and the operation portion 622. The third jig 63 is formed of a long steel plate 631 curved in an arc shape along the inner surface of the lower tower body 12, and is arranged extending circumferentially around the lower tower body 12. It is abutted against an end of the main body 611 of the first jig 61 and has its opposite end fixed to the inner surface of the lower tower body 12, thereby enabling the first jig 61 to be engaged in the circumferential direction of the lower tower body 12.

[0030] The operation of lifting up the second piece 32 using the first jig 61, the second jig 62, and the third jig 63 is as follows. First, the first jig 61 and the third jig 63 are arranged along the inner surface of the lower tower body 12 facing the lower end of the second piece 32, and the third jig 63 is fixed to the inner surface of the lower tower body 12. Next, the lower end of the second piece 32 is placed on the main body part 611 of the first jig 61. Next, the second jig 62 is arranged so as to intersect with the engagement part 613 of the first jig 61, the bent part 623 is abutted against the inner surface of the lower tower body 12, and the action part 621 is engaged with the engagement part 613. Then, the operation part 622 of the second jig 62 is operated, and the engagement part 613 is lifted by the action part 621. At this time, the first jig 61 is operated so that one end of the first jig 61 is restricted in movement by the third jig 63, and the part of the main body part 611 opposite to the third jig 63 is lifted. Then, the lower end of the second piece 32 placed on the raised main body 611 is lifted to ensure a clearance C1 between it and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12, and in that state, the second piece 32 is fixed to the support frame 40. As a result of the above, the first jig 61, the second jig 62, and the third jig 63 are used to ensure a clearance C1 between the lower end of the second piece 32 and the inner surface of the lower tower body 12.

[0031] When supporting the seventh piece 37 and the sixth piece 36 in sequence above the bottom eighth piece 38, or when supporting the fourth piece 34 and the third piece 33 above the fifth piece 35, it is necessary to ensure a certain clearance between each end. For this reason, when a piece 30 is supported above another piece 30, each piece 30 is raised relative to the other piece 30 using a special jig. 9 and 10, for example, when the seventh piece 37 is supported above the eighth piece , a clearance C2 is required between the lower end of the seventh piece 37 and the upper end of the eighth piece . Therefore, by using a connecting jig 70 to hold the seventh piece 37 at a predetermined height relative to the eighth piece 38, the seventh piece 37 is fixed to the support frame 40 with the clearance C2 secured.

[0032] The connecting jig 70 is formed by welding an upper engaging portion 72 and a lower engaging portion 73, each having a partially cylindrical surface, to the surface of a connecting portion 71 formed from an angle bar, an H-shaped steel, a C-shaped steel, or the like. A plurality of cylindrical risers 371 on which bubble caps are attached are provided on the surface of the seventh piece 37, which is the upper piece. The upper engagement portion 72 is capable of engaging with the lower outer surface of a riser 371 having an uneven shape formed on the surface of the seventh piece 37, which is the upper piece. By engaging the upper engagement portion 72 with the seventh piece 37, the load of the seventh piece 37 can be borne by the connecting portion 71 via the upper engagement portion 72.

[0033] A plurality of cylindrical risers 381 on which bubble caps are attached are provided on the surface of the eighth piece 38, which is the lower piece. The lower engagement portion 73 is capable of engaging with the lower inner surface of a riser 381 having an uneven shape formed on the surface of the lower piece, the eighth piece 38. By engaging the lower engagement portion 73 with the eighth piece 38, the load of the seventh piece 37 can be borne by the eighth piece 38 via the connecting portion 71 and the lower engagement portion 73. When the lower engagement portion 73 abuts against the lower inner surface of the riser 381 and the upper engagement portion 72 abuts against the lower outer surface of the riser 371, the lower engagement portion 73 and the upper engagement portion 72 are connected by the connecting portion 71 to maintain a fixed distance. Therefore, the connecting jig 70 can hold the seventh piece 37 at a specified height relative to the eighth piece 38, and the seventh piece 37 can be fixed to the support frame 40 with the clearance C2 secured.

[0034] The procedure for supporting the seventh piece 37 using the connecting jig 70 is as follows. First, the eighth piece 38, which is the lower piece, is supported within the lower tower body 12, and the lower engagement portion 73 is inserted into the inside of the riser 381, which has a concave-convex shape, so as to abut against the inner upper surface. The connecting jig 70 is temporarily fixed to the riser 381 by means of a bolt 382 and a nut 383 for attaching a bubble cap provided on the riser 381 . Next, the seventh piece 37 which is the upper piece is lowered from above the connecting jig 70 until the uneven riser 371 comes into contact with the inside of the upper surface of the upper engagement portion 72 . As a result, the seventh piece 37, which is the upper piece, is brought into contact with the eighth piece which is the lower piece, via the connecting jig , and a desired clearance C2 is ensured between the seventh piece 37 and the eighth piece . In this state, the seventh piece 37 is fixed to the support frame 40, and then the connecting jig 70 is removed, whereby the seventh piece 37 is supported with the clearance C2 maintained relative to the eighth piece . Using a similar procedure, the connecting jig 70 can be used to support the sixth piece 36 above the seventh piece 37 while maintaining a clearance C2, and the same is true for the fourth piece 34 above the fifth piece 35 and the third piece 33 above the fourth piece 34.

[0035] The uneven shape for engaging the connecting jig 70 is not limited to the cylindrical risers 371, 381 to which the bubble caps are attached, but may be, for example, ventilation holes or openings formed in the pieces, or a dedicated uneven shape may be formed. Furthermore, the temporary fastening of the connecting jig 70 is not limited to the bolts 382 and nuts 383 for attaching the bubble cap, and other temporary fastening members such as clips may be used.

[0036] As a result of the above, a plurality of trays 20 are installed inside the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 using a plurality of pieces 30 carried in by the worker 53. Once the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12, in which the multiple trays 20 are installed, have been formed, they are placed on the foundation 2. 11, a crane 54 is introduced to the work site, the end opening 121 side of the lower tower body 12 in a lying state is lifted up, and the lower tower body 12 is moved through the air to above the foundation 2. Furthermore, the lower tower body 12 is lowered onto the foundation 2, and the bottom is fixed to the foundation 2. In Fig. 12, after the lower tower body 12 is fixed to the foundation 2, the side opposite to the end opening 111 of the upper tower body 11 in a sideways state is lifted by a crane 54 and moved in the air to above the lower tower body 12 fixed to the foundation 2. Furthermore, the upper tower body 11 is lowered onto the lower tower body 12, and the end opening 111 and the end opening 121 are butted together and welded all around. Note that all around welding is not essential, and the sealing of the connection part may be ensured by other sealing means or the like. As a result, the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 are connected together to form a tower body 10 with a plurality of trays 20 installed inside, and the distillation tower 1 can be installed on the foundation 2.

[0037] In addition, in order to perform full circumference welding of the end opening 111 or the end opening 121, the trays 20 in the vicinity of each may not be laid down. For such trays 20, manholes may be formed in the vicinity of the end opening 111 of the upper tower body 11 and in the vicinity of the end opening 121 of the lower tower body 12, and the trays 20 or pieces 30 may be carried in through them.

[0038] According to this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained. In this embodiment, when assembling the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 and installing the multiple trays 20, the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 are laid down, so that the end openings 111 and 121 are located near the ground. Therefore, if a minimum temporary staircase 52 or the like is installed at the end openings 111 and 121, the worker 53 can easily and safely enter the inside of the tower body. In this embodiment, the trays 20 can be carried into the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 by a worker 53. In addition, since each tray 20 is supported on the inner surface of each tower body during installation, it is not necessary to use a crane 54 to hold each tray 20 in a suspended state. Furthermore, the use of the crane 54 can be minimized, such as the work of raising the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 to an upright state and fixing them to the foundation 2, and the use of the crane 54 can be significantly reduced. In this embodiment, the end opening through which the workers 53 enter and exit is located close to the ground, eliminating the need for large-scale scaffolding or working at height, eliminating the need to install wires to prevent falls, and significantly reducing the area of land required for assembly and construction. As a result, the complexity and length of work required for installing a distillation column can be eliminated, and the construction can be simplified and shortened.

[0039] In this embodiment, the tray 20 is divided into multiple pieces 30, and the pieces 30 are transported into the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12, and the tray 20 can be installed by assembling the pieces 30 inside the tower bodies. Here, by making each of the multiple pieces 30 to have a size and weight that allows them to be lifted by a worker 53, the pieces can be easily transported into the tower body without using a crane 54 and assembled into the tray 20.

[0040] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and modifications within the scope of the present invention are included in the present invention. The multiple pieces 30 are not limited to the pieces 31 to 38 of the lower tray 23 illustrated in FIG. 4, but may be pieces obtained by dividing the planar shape of the tray 20 (the shape that appears on the upper surface when the distillation column is upright) into strips, a lattice shape, or a radial shape. The configuration of assembling a plurality of pieces 30 to form the tray 20 is not limited to a configuration in which a support frame 40 is installed inside the tower body and a plurality of pieces 30 are sequentially attached to this support frame 40, but a structure in which structural members are formed on the back surface of each piece 30 and the structural members are connected to each other when assembling the pieces 30 and connected to a receiving member formed at the tray installation site inside the tower body may also be used. Even with such pieces 30 with separate structural members, the tray 20 can be assembled with the upper tower body 11 and the lower tower body 12 in a laid-down state. When the tower body 10 is small and the tray 20 is small, it is not necessary to divide the tray 20 into a plurality of pieces 30. When the pieces 30 are not used, the above-mentioned connecting jig 70 is not necessary. On the other hand, even when the pieces 30 are not used, the first jig 61, the second jig 62, and the third jig 63 can be used to ensure the clearance C1 between the lower end of the tray 20 and the inner surface of the tower body.
