Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to the prevention of soiling with wastewater and excrement when using a device having a seat with an opening for use in a seated position. [Background technology]

[0002] There are a variety of excretion devices with an opening in the seat for excretion, ranging from seat-type toilets that have a toilet seat and a toilet bowl, to prefabricated box-type toilets and folding chair-like portable toilets that are used by attaching a bag to catch excrement.

[0003] Although these methods of use allow for urination in a standing position, most are used for excretion in a sitting position. The seat in the direction in which urine splashes during sitting excretion is prone to becoming soiled with excrement, especially on the underside of the seat, and if there is a seam on the inner edge of the seat, dirt may accumulate at the seam and become noticeable. In addition, excrement and other dirt are likely to adhere to the upper area of the container that receives excrement, such as a toilet bowl or bag, which is close to the seat, and when equipment with a function for washing the human body part or a portable tool for washing the human body part is used, the water used for washing the human body part may splash. This increases the sanitary risk of contact with dirty water, as well as the discomfort of appearance and smell, and the impact of this not only increases the risk of infection during excretion and cleaning, and the daily mental and physical burden, but may also induce behavior that refrains from excretion, which can lead to health problems and is likely to become a significant problem in emergencies such as disasters.

[0004] Hereinafter, the excretion tool with an opening for excretion in the seat will be referred to simply as the seated excretion tool, and the excrement and water for washing the human private parts when using the seated excretion tool will be referred to simply as the sewage. Also, the dirt that adheres mainly to the seat of the seated excretion tool due to the sewage will be referred to simply as the sewage dirt.

[0005] The general response to sewage stains, particularly on the seat, as described above, is cleaning, and proposals for physically preventing the continued adhesion of sewage stains have traditionally been made in response to severe stains, such as those caused by excrement leaking from the gap between the seat and bowl of a seat-type toilet.

[0006] Patent Document 1 describes a toilet seat leak prevention device that consists of a flexible, band-shaped shielding portion for shielding gaps, and a flexible, band-shaped installation portion for installation on the underside of the toilet seat, the installation portion having an adhesive layer and a release sheet and having multiple slits along its length, making it easy to fix to the toilet seat and enabling manufacturing costs to be kept low. Patent Document 2 describes a sewage leakage prevention device that consists of a band-shaped sewage receiving part that receives sewage and an attachment part that is attached to the toilet bowl, with a gap formed between the sewage receiving part and the toilet bowl, so that sewage is not only received by the inner surface of the sewage receiving part, but also sewage that exceeds the top end of the sewage receiving part can flow down through the gap, and further, by using a linear metal member as part of the attachment part to the toilet bowl, it can be adapted to toilet bowls of various shapes and sizes of gaps. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0007] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-188900 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2011-234767 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0008] However, in the device of Patent Document 1, the entire length of the shielding part is attached to the back of the toilet seat with an adhesive part, so dirt tends to accumulate near the edge of the adhesive part, making it somewhat difficult to clean. Also, if urine hits the shielding part and overflows upward, it may flow onto the surface or outside of the toilet seat, soiling the body, clothes, or floor. Since Patent Document 2 is attached to the toilet bowl, it cannot prevent sewage from staining the underside of the toilet seat, which is inside the sewage receiving part. Also, while the wire-shaped metal material can be freely deformed, the user needs to adjust the position of the sewage receiving part to match the height of the gap between the toilet bowl and the toilet seat. Therefore, if the sewage receiving part is set too low, not only will sewage stain the underside of the toilet seat, but sewage may easily leak out from the gap.

[0009] In addition, many of the commercially available box-type and chair-type portable toilets use bags, but while they can be used in a planned manner during leisure activities, there may be a situation where bags are in short supply for a long period of time during emergencies such as disasters. Also, since many people have stored them away as disaster prevention supplies and have never tried them out, it is possible that they will not be able to start using them smoothly when they are actually needed, so it would be beneficial if sewage stain prevention equipment that is used on a daily basis could be used with a variety of seated excretion equipment, including emergency equipment.

[0010] The present invention aims to provide a sewage stain prevention device that is compatible with various seated excretion devices, can be easily installed, and is easy to clean and maintain, in order to prevent sewage stains on the seat and the area around the seat of the seated excretion device. [Means for solving the problem]

[0011] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 1 is a sewage stain prevention device for preventing adhesion of sewage stains to a seat and a peripheral area of the seat in a seating position excretion device having a seat with an excretion opening, the sewage stain prevention device comprises a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving part for receiving sewage and a connecting part for enabling the sewage receiving part to be attached and detached to the seat, the sewage receiving part has at least one or more gap retaining parts for forming a gap for draining sewage between the inner peripheral edge of the seat, and all or a part of the upper end of the sewage receiving part is provided in a front view when viewed from the front. This is a sewage stain prevention device that can be installed inside the inner peripheral edge of the seat and, when viewed from the side, can be installed at or above the height of the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat, and the lower end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the outer peripheral edge of the seat when viewed from the side and can be installed below the height of the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat, wherein the sewage stain prevention device is characterized in that sewage received in the sewage receiving part flows down the inner side of the sewage receiving part, and sewage that exceeds the sewage receiving part flows down into the gap for sewage discharge, thereby regulating the flow path of the sewage.

[0012] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 2, the sewage stain prevention device as described in claim 1, characterized in that all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion is provided with portions that are inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right.

[0013] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 3 is characterized in that a part or all of the connecting portion is provided with an attachment portion using a flexible material that is approximately belt-shaped or string-shaped, and the attachment portion is capable of being fixed around the inner peripheral edge, upper surface, outer peripheral edge and back surface of a part of the seat portion. Effect of the Invention

[0014] The sewage stain prevention device of claim 1 is a sewage stain prevention device for preventing adhesion of sewage stains to a seat and a peripheral area of the seat in a seated excretion device having a seat with an excretion opening, the sewage stain prevention device comprising a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving part for receiving sewage and a connecting part for enabling the sewage receiving part to be attached and detached to the seat, the sewage receiving part has at least one or more gap retaining parts for forming a gap for sewage discharge between the sewage receiving part and the inner peripheral edge of the seat, the whole or part of the upper end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a plan view and can be installed at a height equal to or higher than the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a side view, the lower end of the sewage receiving part can be installed inside the outer peripheral edge of the seat in a plan view and can be installed below the lower end of the inner peripheral edge of the seat in a side view, and the sewage stain prevention device is configured such that the sewage received by the sewage receiving part flows down to the inner side of the sewage receiving part, Most of the sewage can flow down the inner surface of the sewage receiving section before reaching the seat, preventing the underside of the seat, which is the most susceptible to getting dirty, and preventing sewage from splashing onto the upper area of containers for receiving waste, such as toilets or bags, that are close to the seat.

[0015] Similarly, because the sewage stain prevention device connects the connecting part to the seat, even if there is a gap between the seat and the toilet, such as in the case of a sit-down toilet, the height of the upper end of the sewage receiving part is constant and not affected by differences in the height of the gap, so it is less affected by differences in the user's installation method, and can reliably prevent sewage stains.

[0016] Similarly, since the sewage stain prevention device connects to the seat via the connecting part, when the user selects a product, they only need to check whether it fits the seat, making it easy to introduce and highly versatile.

[0017] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device allows sewage that exceeds the sewage receiving section to flow down into the gap for sewage discharge and regulates the flow path of the sewage, so that sewage that exceeds the upper end of the sewage receiving section loses momentum and can flow down the outer surface of the sewage receiving section, and sewage that has splashed on the upper surface of the seat can also flow down into the gap for sewage discharge. Therefore, by installing the sewage stain prevention device, it is possible to prevent the accumulation of sewage stains between the seat and the device, and the device can be kept not too dirty even in situations where frequent cleaning is difficult.

[0018] Similarly, even if cleaning detergent or water is poured on the sewage stain prevention device while it is installed on the seat, the detergent or water will flow down the inner and outer surfaces of the sewage receiving part and the gap for draining the sewage, just like sewage, so it is easy to maintain, dries quickly, can be cleaned in a very short time, and is easy to manage.

[0019] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device can minimize the adhesion and accumulation of sewage stains on the seat and the area around the seat, and on the sewage stain prevention device itself, making it easier to keep clean, reducing the psychological burden when using the seated excretion device, and reducing the burden of cleaning, and contributing to hygiene management even in times of disasters when resources and manpower for maintaining cleanliness are limited.

[0020] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device can prevent stains not only on the seat but also on the upper part of the container that receives excrement, which tends to accumulate there. Therefore, when cleaning the container that receives excrement or disposing of the container itself, such as a bag containing excrement, the risk of coming into contact with sewage stains during work can be reduced, thereby reducing the risk of infection during cleaning and also reducing the psychological burden.

[0021] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 2, all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion is provided with portions that are inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right. This makes it difficult for the sewage receiving portion to come into contact with the inside of the user's thighs, etc. when sitting down on the seat or while excreting in a seated position, and even if the sewage receiving portion does come into contact with the user's body, it is less likely to cause injury to the body, thereby increasing safety in use.

[0022] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has portions inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion to the left and right in all or part of the shape of the upper end of the sewage receiving portion, so that the shape of the sewage receiving portion is higher in the center where sewage tends to concentrate, allowing it to receive sewage efficiently, and the downward sloping portions allow the sewage to flow easily, thereby effectively preventing sewage stains.

[0023] In the sewage stain prevention device of claim 3, a mounting part is provided using a flexible, approximately belt-like or string-like material on part or all of the connecting part, and the mounting part can be fixed by wrapping around the inner peripheral edge, upper surface, outer peripheral edge and back surface of a part of the seat part, making it highly versatile and usable even if the shape and size of the seat part is different, and it also prevents the sewage stain prevention device itself from falling off, making it possible to provide a sewage stain prevention device that is easy to install.

[0024] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has an attachment part made of a flexible, roughly belt-like or string-like member and can be fixed by wrapping it around a part of the seat, minimizing the areas where sewage is likely to accumulate. This allows sewage to flow efficiently down into the gaps and also makes it easier for detergent and water to flow when cleaning, making it easier to rinse off and keeping the device clean.

[0025] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device has an attachment part made of a flexible, roughly belt-like or string-like material and can be fixed by wrapping it around a part of the seat part, so that the attachment part is in a visible position, allowing for an innovative design to be used to prevent sewage stains. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0027] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. EXAMPLES

[0028] A first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 1 to Fig. 3. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. 1.

[0029] The seated excretion device 30 is made of a seat 40 having an opening 41 for excretion and a generally O-shaped seat, and a support 60 made of a cylindrical sheet material with folds, and is used with a bag 50 for receiving excretion, with the excretion being disposed of together with the bag 50. The bag 50 is placed in the opening 61 of the support 60 with the bag opening 51 widened, and the mouth 53 of the bag is placed over the upper end 62 of the support 60 and protruding from the outer surface 63 of the support 60. The back surface 47 of the seat 40 has a concave shape between the inner peripheral edge 42 and the outer peripheral edge 43, and is placed on top of the bag 50 hung over the upper end 62 of the support 60.

[0030] The seated excretion tool 30 shown in the figure is an example of a collapsible simple toilet, but is not limited to this example. The shape of the seat 40 may be different, such as an approximately U-shape, and the shape of the support part 60 may be different. The bag 50 that receives the excretion may be a separate container, or may be one that does not use a container, such as by discharging. It may be a chair with an excretion function, a portable toilet for nursing care, or a flushing type seated toilet. It may have facilities such as a function for washing the human body local area, a function for sterilization, and a function for heating.

[0031] The sewage stain prevention device 1 comprises a substantially plate-shaped sewage receiving portion 10 for receiving sewage, and a connecting portion 20. Note that the number of connecting portions 20 shown in the figure is merely an example, and is not limited to this number.

[0032] The wastewater receiving portion 10 is formed by forming a generally plate-like member into an arc, and an upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is located inside the inner periphery 42 of the seat portion 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height equal to or higher than the lower end 46 on the inner periphery 42 side of the seat portion 40 in a side view, and a lower end 12 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is located inside the outer periphery 43 of the seat portion 40 in a plan view, and is located below the lower end 46 on the inner periphery 42 side of the seat portion 40 in a side view. Furthermore, a gap retaining portion 16 is connected to a portion of the outer surface 14 of the wastewater receiving portion 10, and a gap portion 15 for draining wastewater is formed between the wastewater receiving portion 10 and the seat portion 40.

[0033] The connecting portion 20 is connected to the gap maintaining portion 16 and is composed of an attachment portion 21 which is connected to the seat portion 40. The attachment portion 21 is formed so as to be detachably attached to the seat portion 40, and is substantially U-shaped so as to contact the upper surface 45, the inner peripheral edge 42, and the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40.

[0034] The height of the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is positioned slightly below the upper end 44 of the seat 40 in a side view, and although not limited to this example, it is desirable to set the height at least in consideration of safety in case it touches the body when sitting on the seat or while excreting in a seated position, and it is desirable that it is not too high, aiming for the vicinity of the upper end 44 of the seat 40. Furthermore, the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion 10 has a rounded cross section in a side view, and although not limited to this example, it is desirable that the shape or material is one that takes safety in case it touches the body into consideration, for example, a member of a different shape or material may be connected to the upper end 11 of the wastewater receiving portion, or a removable cover or the like may be combined, and there is no particular limitation thereto.

[0035] The shape of the wastewater receiving portion 10 is not limited to the above. For example, the wastewater receiving portion 10 may be substantially circular in plan view, extending around the entire inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40, or uneven portions may be formed on the inner surface 13 and the outer surface 14 of the wastewater receiving portion 10, and is not particularly limited.

[0036] The shape and structure of the connecting part 20 are not limited to those described above, and the method of attaching the connecting part 20 to the seat part 40 may be different. For example, it may be attached with an adhesive tape, may be clipped, or may be connected to the wastewater receiving part 10 and fitted into a notch. There is also no particular limitation on applying water-repellent, waterproof, antibacterial, deodorizing, or other treatments to the whole or part of the wastewater stain prevention device 1.

[0037] The entire sewage stain prevention device 1 is made of polypropylene resin. Other materials may be used, such as resin materials such as silicone and elastomer resin, or fiber materials such as paper, cloth, and bamboo that have been waterproofed, and are not particularly limited, but if no special measures are taken regarding the cross-sectional shape of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving part 10, it is desirable that at least the material of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving part 10 is flexible and has a softness that is safe even when touched by the body, and as described above, a separate member may be connected, or a separate member that can be attached and detached, such as a cover, may be used, and are not particularly limited.

[0038] The size of the wastewater receiving part 10 is about 3 cm to 6 cm in height, about 15 cm to 85 cm in length, and about 0.5 mm to 3 mm in thickness, but is not limited to this example. The lower end 12 of the wastewater receiving part 10 is at least lower than the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 side of the seat part 40 in a side view, preferably about 1 to 2 cm lower, but may be longer downward to cover the upper end vicinity 52 of the bag 50 more widely, and is not limited to this example. The gap retaining part 16 and the connecting part 20 are about 1 cm to 2 cm in width, about 0.5 mm to 3 mm in thickness, about 8 to 10 cm in length of the part contacting the upper surface 45 of the seat part 40, about 2 to 3 cm in length of the part contacting the inner peripheral edge 42 side, about 0.3 to 1.0 cm in length of the gap retaining part, and about 2 cm to 4 cm in length of the part contacting the outer peripheral edge 43 side, but are not limited to this example.

[0039] Since the sewage stain prevention device 1 having the above configuration is connected to the seat 40, the position of the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving part 10 does not drop below the seat 40 in a side view, and can be kept at an appropriate position. Furthermore, since the sewage receiving part 10 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40, when sewage splashes in the direction of the front 49 of the seated excretion device 30, the sewage hits the sewage receiving part 10, flows down the inner surface 13, and flows down into the opening 51 of the bag 50, thereby preventing the adhesion of sewage stains to the back surface 47 and inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40.

[0040] Furthermore, even if the sewage is strong or in large volume, the sewage that passes the upper end 11 of the sewage receiving portion 10 loses momentum and flows down along the outer surface 14 of the sewage receiving portion 10. Sewage that splashes onto the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40 can also flow down through the gap 15 for draining sewage into the opening 51 of the bag 50. This restricts the flow path of the sewage, thereby preventing the sewage from reaching the user's thighs or buttocks.

[0041] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 1 is characterized by regulating the flow path of sewage, so that even if detergent or water is sprayed during cleaning, it can flow down into the bag opening 51 just like sewage, making it easy to clean in a short time, quick to dry, and easy to manage for maintaining cleanliness.

[0042] As a result, the sewage stain prevention device 1 can minimize adhesion of sewage stains to the upper surface 45 and inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and the sewage stain prevention device 1 itself, so that it can be maintained in a state that is not too dirty even when cleaning is difficult. This means that even when resources for maintaining cleanliness are limited, such as during a disaster, it is easy to take measures such as wiping the minimum area, reducing the psychological burden when using the device and making it easier to manage hygiene, which may contribute to maintaining an appropriate frequency of excretion and may contribute to preventing deterioration of health.

[0043] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 1 can also prevent stains on the underside 47 of the seat 40 and the upper end 52 inside the opening 51 of the bag 50, thereby reducing the risk of coming into contact with sewage stains when replacing or disposing of the bag 50, making it easier to clean hygienically, and reducing the psychological burden on the worker.

[0044] Similarly, since the sewage stain prevention device 1 is formed to be removable, it can be removed to wash the sewage stain prevention device 1, and cleaning of the sitting position excretion device 30 is also easy.

[0045] Similarly, when the sewage stain prevention device 1 is used by placing the upper end 52 of the bag 50 over the seat 40, it can also be attached to the seat 40 from above the bag 50, which not only serves to secure the bag 50 but also prevents stains inside the opening 51 of the bag 50. EXAMPLES

[0046] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 4 to Fig. 8. Components common to Example 1 are given the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted. Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 4, Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line C-C in Fig. 4, Fig. 7 is a plan view of Fig. 4, and Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the sewage stain prevention device shown in Fig. 4.

[0047] The seated excretion tool 31 is an example of a flush-type seat-type toilet, and is made up of a toilet body 70 and a seat 40. The back surface 47 of the seat 40 is flat, and an appropriate number of legs 48 are fixed to the back surface 47 of the seat 40. A gap 75 exists between the toilet body 70 and the seat 40. The sewage stain prevention device 2 is composed of a connecting part 120 that can be attached to the seat part 40, and a sewage receiving part 110. Note that the number of connecting parts 120 shown in the figure is an example, and is not limited to this number.

[0048] The seated excretion tool 31 shown in the figure is a flush-type seated toilet, but is not limited to this example. The shape of the seat 40 may be different, such as an approximately U-shape, the shape of the toilet body 70 may be different, it may be a seated toilet such as a scoop-type toilet that is not flushed, it may be a portable toilet for nursing care, or it may use a bucket or other container for receiving excrement, and it may have equipment such as a function for washing the human body local area, a function for sterilization, a function for heating, etc. It may also be a collapsible or box-shaped simple toilet, a chair with a seat that supports excretion, etc.

[0049] The wastewater receiving portion 110 has a central portion 117 with an upper end 111 inclined downward from the center in the longitudinal direction toward the left and right. A roughly triangular portion 119 is provided at a part of the lower end 112 of the central portion 117, and a gap retaining portion 116 is provided at the lower end 112 of the triangular portion 119, so that the gap retaining portion 116 forms an angle with respect to the horizontal plane, allowing wastewater to flow down. In addition, both end portions 118 continuing from the central portion 117 are roughly band-shaped. The entire wastewater receiving portion 110 is formed in an arc shape when viewed from above.

[0050] An upper end 111 of a central portion 117 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height equal to or higher than a lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 in a side view, and a lower end 112 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40 in a plan view, and is located below the height of an upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view. In addition, a gap 115 for draining wastewater is formed between the central portion 117 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 and the seat portion 40.

[0051] In addition, when viewed from the side, the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion is approximately the same height as the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40, and the cross section of the end of the upper end 111 is rounded. Although this is not limited to this example, taking into consideration the possibility that the body may come into contact with the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion when sitting on the seat portion 40 or while excreting in a seated position, and the need to prevent sewage stains, it is desirable for the height of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving portion to be between the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40 and the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 side of the seat portion 40, and if it is expected that the upper end 111 will be at a position higher than the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40, it is desirable to use a flexible material.

[0052] The upper ends 111 of both ends 118 of the sewage receiving portion 110 are positioned from the inside of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 to the inside of the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40 in a plan view, and are positioned at a height higher than the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 in a side view. The lower end 112 of the sewage receiving portion 110 is positioned inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat portion 40 and inside the inner peripheral edge 76 of the toilet body 70 in a plan view, and is positioned below the height of the lower end 46 on the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40 and below the height of the upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view.

[0053] The upper ends 111 of both ends 118 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are smoothly connected to the inclined portions of the upper end 111 of the center portion 117 of the wastewater receiving portion 110, but this is not limited to this example. For example, the shape of the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 may be a step with a varying height between the center portion 117 and both ends 118, or a concave portion with a lower height may be provided between the center portion 117 and both ends 116, and is not particularly limited.

[0054] Furthermore, the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is located inside the inner edge 42 of the seat portion 40 more than the lower end 112, and when viewed from the side, the wastewater receiving portion 110 is at an inclined angle with respect to the vertical plane, but this is not limited to this example.

[0055] Therefore, the shape of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is not limited to the above. For example, the central portion 117 may be omitted, the upper end 111 and the lower end 112 may have a different shape, the wastewater receiving portion 110 may be circular around the entire inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40, and uneven portions may be formed on the inner surface 113 and the outer surface 114 of the wastewater receiving portion. Also, the gap portion 115 for draining wastewater may be provided over the entire wastewater receiving portion 110 or may be provided partially.

[0056] The shape of the upper end 111 of the central part 117 of the wastewater receiving part is a gentle arc, and although this is not limited to this example, since there is a possibility that the body may come into contact with it, it is desirable to use a shape that is acceptable for contact with the body, for example, avoiding shapes with corners.

[0057] The connecting part 120 is composed of an attachment part 121 that connects to the underside 47 of the seat part 40, and a side part 124. The attachment part 121 has an adhesive part 122 and a release paper 123 that protects the adhesive part 122, and when installing, the release paper 123 is peeled off and the adhesive part 122 is pressed and affixed to the underside 47 of the seat part. The side part 124 connects the attachment part 121 and the gap retaining part 115, and is in the shape of a strip.

[0058] Further, both ends 118 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are connected to mounting portions 121 .

[0059] The shape and structure of the connecting part 120 are not limited to those described above, and for example, the gap retaining part 116 may be rod-shaped with a circular or polygonal cross section, or the number of gap retaining parts may be different. Also, the method of attaching the connecting part 120 to the seat part 40 may be different. For example, it may be clamped like a clip, connected to the wastewater receiving part 110 and fitted into a notched part, or it may be fastened to a part of the seat part 40 with a screw or the like, or attached to the seat part with a string, band, tape, or the like.

[0060] The material of the sewage stain prevention device 2 is a flexible polypropylene resin. Other materials may be resin materials such as elastomer resin, ABS resin, and silicon, or fiber materials such as paper, cloth, wood, and bamboo that have been waterproofed. Metal materials such as aluminum and stainless steel may also be used for part of the connecting parts, but this is not particularly limited. The adhesive tape is made of acrylic rubber, and it is preferable that the adhesive tape be made of a rubber material that has adhesiveness that allows it to be fixed to the back surface 47 of the seat 40, and it is even more preferable that the adhesive tape be removable as needed, but this is not particularly limited. An acrylic sheet is used as the release paper, but it is preferable that the release paper be a resin sheet that protects the adhesiveness of the adhesive tape and is easily removable, but this is not particularly limited.

[0061] For example, a flexible member made of a different material may be connected to the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion, or a cover may be combined with the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion, and there is no particular limitation on connecting a member of a different shape to the upper end 111 of the wastewater receiving portion. In addition, there is no particular limitation on applying a water-repellent finish, waterproof finish, antibacterial finish, deodorizing finish, etc. to the whole or part of the wastewater stain prevention equipment 2.

[0062] The size of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is about 1mm to 3mm thick and about 10cm to 30cm long, with the central portion 117 being about 6 to 12cm long and 4cm to 6cm high, the triangular portion 117 being convex downwards by about 0.3 to 0.6cm from the connecting lower end 112, and both ends 116 being about 1 to 4cm high, but this is not limited to this example. The gap retaining portion 115 and the connecting portion side portions 124 are about 1cm to 1.5cm wide and about 0.5mm to 3mm thick, with the gap retaining portion 115 being about 0.3 to 1.0cm long and the connecting portion side portions 124 being about 1.5 to 3.0cm long, but this is not limited to this example. The mounting portion 121 has a width of about 1 cm to 1.5 cm, a length of about 1.5 to 2.5 cm, and a thickness of about 1.0 mm to 4.0 mm, of which the adhesive portion 122 has a thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 mm, but is not limited to this example.

[0063] The sewage stain prevention device 2 having the above-mentioned configuration has a shape in which the upper end of the central part 117 of the sewage receiving part 110 is inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving part to the left and right directions with respect to the gap 75 at the front 49 of the sitting position excretion device 31, where sewage stains are likely to occur. Therefore, even if sewage hits it with force, it can be received by the inner surface 113 of the sewage receiving part and allowed to flow down into the toilet opening 71, thereby reducing the amount of sewage that exceeds the upper end 111 of the central part 117.

[0064] Similarly, since the shape of the upper end 111 of the central portion 117 of the sewage receiving portion 110 is inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the sewage receiving portion 110 to the left and right, even if the sewage exceeds the upper end 111, it is easy for the sewage to flow down along the slope into the gap portion 115, making it easy to prevent the sewage from overflowing onto the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40.

[0065] Similarly, the shape of the upper end 111 of the central portion 117 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the wastewater receiving portion 110 toward the left and right directions, so that the wastewater can flow left and right along the incline, and further, the two ends 118 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are located between the inner peripheral edge 42 and the outer peripheral edge 43 below the seat portion 40, so that the wastewater can flow down below the seat portion 40 and is prevented from reaching the user's thighs, etc. Therefore, when the two ends 118 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 are formed long in the left and right directions, it is possible to prevent the wastewater from splashing out of the gap 75 even if the wastewater splashes not only in the direction of the front 49 of the seated position excretion tool 31 but also in the left and right directions.

[0066] Similarly, the shape of the upper end of the central portion 117 of the wastewater receiving portion 110 is inclined downward from the longitudinal center of the wastewater receiving portion to the left and right, which reduces the risk of the wastewater receiving portion 110 coming into contact with the user's thighs, etc. when sitting on the seat 40 or while excreting in a seated position, and allows for comfortable use without interfering with the movement of sitting on the seat 40.

[0067] Furthermore, the sewage stain prevention device 2 has the holding part 121 formed at an inclined angle with respect to the horizontal plane, so that the sewage flows down and does not accumulate in the holding part 121. Even in cases where frequent cleaning is difficult, it can be kept with minimal dirt, and furthermore, it can be easily washed off when cleaning and dries easily, making it easy to maintain cleanliness.

[0068] In addition, the sewage stain prevention device 2 is made with adhesive tape, so it can be used with many seated excretion devices. Since there are fewer areas to attach it to than with existing products, there is less accumulation of sewage at the attachment points, and it can be used easily in a wide range of situations, from daily use to outdoor activities and in times of disaster.

[0069] In addition, the sewage stain prevention equipment 2 can be manufactured inexpensively by cutting and folding a sheet-like material, and can also be made disposable by using very thin resin or waterproof paper. It can be used when going out or during an infectious disease outbreak. EXAMPLES

[0070] An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 9 to 11. Components common to Examples 1 and 2 are given the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted. Fig. 9 is a plan view showing an embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 10 is a cross-sectional view taken along line D-D in Fig. 9, and Fig. 11 is a perspective view of the sewage stain prevention device shown in Fig. 9.

[0071] The sewage stain prevention device 3 is composed of a sewage receiving part 210 and a connecting part 230, and is attached to the seat part 40 of the seated excretion device 31. The sewage receiving part 210 has a shape in which both corners of the upper end 211 of a substantially rectangular shape are inclined downward in the left and right directions so as to be rounded off, and cylindrical gap retaining parts 216 are provided at both ends 218 of the sewage receiving part 210, and a gap part 215 is formed between the sewage receiving part 210 and the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat part.

[0072] The connecting portion 230 is composed of an attachment portion 220 and a recess 231. The attachment portion 220 is a cable tie made of a substantially belt-shaped flexible member, and has a tooth portion 222 on one side of a belt-shaped band portion 221 and a lock portion 224 at one end thereof, and can be fixed at any position by inserting a tip portion 223 on the opposite side to the lock portion 224 into a hole 225 in the lock portion and hooking a protrusion 227 of the tooth portion 222 onto the claw portion 226 inside the lock portion 224, and can be released from the tie by operating a release portion 228 connected to the claw portion 226 to release the hooking of the protrusion 227 of the tooth portion 222.

[0073] The recess 231 is connected to a part of the longitudinal center of the wastewater receiving part 210, and has a concave shape along a part of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat part 40 in a side view. Furthermore, an insertion part 232 into which the band part 221 of the mounting part 220 is inserted is provided between the recess 231 and the wastewater receiving part 210.

[0074] The method of connecting the sewage stain prevention device 3 to the seat portion 40 is to insert the tip portion 223 of the band portion 221 of the mounting portion 220 into the insertion portion 232, then wrap it around the front 49 of the seat portion 40 once so that the surface on which the teeth portion 222 of the band portion 221 is provided contacts the inner peripheral edge 42, upper surface 45, outer peripheral edge 43 and back surface 47 of the seat portion 40, and then insert the tip portion 223 into the hole 225 of the locking portion 224 to securely fasten the device in place.

[0075] Although the connecting portion 230 is provided at one location, this is not limiting and multiple locations may be provided. Also, the connecting portion 230 and the wastewater receiving portion 210 may be continuously and integrally formed, or the concave portion 231 and the wastewater receiving portion 210 of the connecting portion 230 may be continuously formed as one band and the mounting portion 220 may be a separate member, and there is no particular limitation. Thus, the connecting portion 230 may also have the function of the gap retaining portion 216, and a gap portion 215 may be formed between the wastewater receiving portion 210 and the seat portion 40.

[0076] The gap retaining portion 216 is provided at both ends 218 of the wastewater receiving portion 210, but is not limited to this example, and one or more gap retaining portions 216 may be provided at any position on the outer surface 214 of the wastewater receiving portion 210, and gap retaining portions 215 may be formed in multiple places. Also, the shape of the gap retaining portion 216 is cylindrical over the entire length of the wastewater receiving portion 210 in the vertical direction, but is not limited to this example, and for example, the length may be short, the direction may be inclined at an angle other than the vertical direction, and the shape may be a protrusion such as a hemisphere, and is not particularly limited.

[0077] The method by which the connecting part 230 fixes the seat part 40 is not limited to the above, and the band part 221 of the cable tie of the attachment part 220 may be string-like with a round or polygonal cross section, the tooth part 222 may have a different shape or locking mechanism, or the attachment part 220 may be a method other than a cable tie. However, in order to accommodate the variety of shapes and sizes of the seat part 40, a connecting method that allows nearly stepless length adjustment and secure fixation is desirable. For example, a method may be used in which a hook-and-loop fastener or adhesive material is used at the end of a belt-shaped member to fix the members at a position of any length, or a connecting method may be used in which a member that has one or more fixing positions in advance, such as a button or hook, and whose length can be adjusted in stages depending on the position where it is inserted, is used in combination with a member having elasticity such as rubber to increase the adjustment range and fixation due to elasticity, or a member such as silicone that has elasticity and anti-slip properties and has the functions of length adjustment and fixation added with a D-ring or the like, and is not particularly limited.

[0078] The upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 is located inside the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and within the opening 41 in a plan view, and is located at a height higher than the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 in a side view. The lower end 212 of the sewage receiving portion 210 is located inside the outer peripheral edge 43 of the seat 40 and inside the inner peripheral edge 76 of the toilet body 70 in a plan view, and is located below the height of the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat 40 and below the height of the upper end 72 of the toilet body 70 in a side view.

[0079] In addition, when viewed from the side, the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 is slightly higher than the lower end 46 of the seat portion 40, and although this is not limited to this example, it is desirable that the height of the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 be between the upper end 44 of the seat portion 40 and the lower end 46 of the inner peripheral edge 42 of the seat portion 40.

[0080] Regarding the material, the cable tie of the attachment part 220 of the connecting part 230 is made of polypropylene having flexibility, and the wastewater receiving part 210 is made of an elastomer resin having flexibility, but this is not limited to the example. For example, the entire wastewater stain prevention device 3 may be made of silicone resin having flexibility and elasticity. In addition, the material of the wastewater receiving part 210 may be paper, cloth, wood, bamboo, or other fiber material that has been waterproofed, in addition to resin, and the material of the connecting part 230 may be a fiber material such as washable hook-and-loop fastener or D-ring belt, or may be partially made of metal material such as aluminum or stainless steel, in addition to resin, without any particular limitation.

[0081] The shape of the wastewater receiving part 210 is shown by way of example only and is not limited to the above, but it is desirable that the upper end 211 has a shape or material that takes into consideration at least the safety in case of contact with the body. For example, the wastewater receiving part upper end 211 may be made slightly thick and have a rounded cross section, and a member of a different shape may be connected to the wastewater receiving part upper end 211, without any particular limitation. A flexible member made of a different material may also be connected, or a cover made of a flexible material may be placed over the upper end 211, without any particular limitation. Furthermore, the wastewater stain prevention equipment 3 may be entirely or partially subjected to a water repellent, waterproof, antibacterial, deodorizing, or other treatment, without any particular limitation.

[0082] The dimensions of the wastewater receiving portion 210 are approximately 1 mm to 5 mm thick, 8 cm to 11 cm long, and 3 cm to 5 cm high, and the cylindrical portion of the gap retaining portion 216 is approximately 6 to 8 mm in diameter, but are not limited to this example. The concave portion 231 is approximately 0.5 to 11.5 mm thick, 1 to 1.5 cm wide, and 0.8 to 1.5 cm high, and the insertion portion 232 is approximately 0.8 to 1.2 cm wide, and the hole is approximately 1 to 1.5 mm high, but are not limited to this example. The mounting portion 220 of the connecting portion 230 has a band portion 221 with a width of approximately 0.8 to 1.2 cm, a length of approximately 22 to 30 cm, and a thickness of approximately 1 mm, and a lock portion 224 with a height of approximately 3 to 5 mm, but are not limited to this example.

[0083] The sewage stain prevention device 3 having the above-mentioned configuration can be attached to many seated excretion tools and is easy to introduce because the attachment part 220 of the connecting part 230 can be fixed by wrapping around the inner peripheral edge 42, upper surface 45, outer peripheral edge 43 and back surface 47 of the front 49 of the seat part 40. Furthermore, by using a reusable cable tie as the attachment part 220, it can be easily tightened even if there is only one attachment point, and it can also be removed for manufacturing.

[0084] Similarly, since the mounting portion 230 can be fixed by wrapping around a portion of the seat portion 40, it is less likely to fall off, and problems such as it falling into a container that receives sewage or being accidentally flushed down a drainage system can be avoided.

[0085] Similarly, since the connecting part 230 can be fixed by wrapping around a portion of the seat 40, it can be installed in any position on the seat 40. Generally, installing it in the center of the front 49 of the seat 40 is effective in preventing soiling by sewage, but it can also be installed to the left or right of the center for ease of use, for example, depending on obstacles, etc.

[0086] Similarly, since the attachment portion 220 can be fixed by wrapping around a portion of the seat portion 40, the area in which sewage accumulates in the sewage stain prevention device 3 is minimized. Therefore, even if sewage exceeds the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 and splashes onto the upper surface 45 of the seat portion 40, it can flow efficiently into the gap portion 215. Furthermore, the ease with which sewage flows is also related to the ease with which detergent and water flow when cleaning, so cleaning can be easily performed by rinsing, making it easy to keep clean.

[0087] Similarly, since the attachment part 220 can be fixed by wrapping around a portion of the seat part 40, the connecting part 220 is visible on the upper surface 45 of the seat part 40. However, when the sewage stain prevention device 3 is fixed to the center of the front 49 of the seat part 40, the attachment part 220 is located between the thighs when the user is seated, and therefore does not come into contact with the body and does not interfere with the movement when sitting on the seat part 40, making it easy to use. In addition, taking advantage of its visible position, it is possible to implement sewage stain prevention measures with an ingenious design.

[0088] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 3 is configured so that the upper end 211 of the sewage receiving portion 210 has a downward inclined angle toward both ends 216, thereby reducing the risk of the body touching the sewage receiving portion 220 and allowing sewage to flow smoothly downward, making it possible to use it hygienically.

[0089] Similarly, the sewage stain prevention device 3 has gap retaining portions 216 at both ends 218 of the sewage receiving portion 210 to form gap portions 215, thereby effectively promoting the discharge of sewage even if the sewage receiving portion 220 is small in size. [Industrial Applicability]

[0090] The sewage stain prevention device according to the present invention can be used in the toilet product industry for its production and in industries that handle toilet products, nursing care products, products for infants, disaster prevention products, outdoor products, travel products, etc. for its sale.
