Abstract

To provide a cargo handling gear capable of detecting the load on a wire while preventing wire life from decreasing.SOLUTION: A cargo handling gear 100 comprises a wire 6 connected to a cargo handling part 4 and a drum 7 winding the wire 6. Therefore, the load acts on the wire when the cargo handling part 4 performs a cargo handling work. In contrast to this, the wire 6 extending from the drum 7 supports the cargo handling part 4 without passing through a turning sieve 216 for load detection. Therefore, it can be avoided that the load is applied to the wire because the wire 6 is bent by the turning sieve 216 for load detection. Meanwhile, bearing parts 18Aa, 18Bb of the drum 7 are provided with load detection parts 24A, 24B. Therefore, the load can be detected by the bearing parts 18Aa, 18Bb without relying on the turning sieve 216 for load detection. As stated above, the load on the wire 6 can be detected while suppressing the life reduction of the wire 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
