Abstract

To provide a rotating anode type x-ray tube device that reduces wear debris in a dynamic pressure bearing and maintains stable rotation of a rotating body.SOLUTION: A rotating anode type x-ray tube device 10 includes a fixed shaft 13, a rotor 14, a dynamic pressure bearing 24, and a permanent magnet 42. The rotor 14 has a target 15, and is rotatably supported by the fixed shaft 13. The dynamic pressure bearing 24 rotatably supports the rotor 14 on the fixed shaft 13 via a liquid metal 29 sealed between the fixed shaft 13 and the rotor 14. The permanent magnet 42 is provided within a flow path 40 through which the liquid metal 29 can flow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
