[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2022-15589 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] When manufacturing a predetermined laminated molded product using a laminate molding device, it is desirable to perform the laminate molding without foreign matter such as fine particles or dust adhering to the laminated object or laminate material. However, inside the housing of the laminate molding device, an upward air current is generated by heat caused by heating, so foreign matter is likely to accumulate on the inner wall of the housing, and there is a risk of the accumulated foreign matter adhering to the laminated object or laminate material.

[0006] The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has as its object to increase the degree of cleanliness within a housing and improve the yield of laminated molded products. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] A laminated molding apparatus according to one embodiment comprises a housing, a pressurizing section provided within the housing for pressurizing a molded product in which a laminated material is laminated onto a laminated body using pressurizing mechanisms arranged above and below, and a fan provided on the top surface of the housing for supplying a downward airflow that flows downward into the housing, and the housing has an exhaust port on at least one surface excluding the top surface for discharging exhaust air resulting from the downward airflow.

[0008] The laminated molding system according to one embodiment comprises a laminator having a pressurizing section which pressurizes and molds a primary molded product, in which a laminated material is laminated onto a laminated body, using pressurizing mechanisms arranged above and below, and a flattening press device which pressurizes using pressurizing mechanisms arranged above and below to mold a secondary molded product in which the flatness of the laminated surface of the laminated material of the primary molded product is increased, and at least one of the laminator and the flattening press device has a fan on the top surface of a housing which supplies a downward airflow that flows downward into the housing.

[0009] In the laminated molding apparatus and laminated molding system according to one embodiment, a fan is provided to supply a downward airflow inside the housing in which the pressure unit is built, thereby preventing foreign matter inside the housing from convection or accumulating inside the housing. Effect of the Invention

[0010] According to the laminate molding device and the laminate molding system of the embodiment, the degree of cleanliness inside the housing can be increased, thereby improving the molding accuracy of the molded product. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0012] For clarity of explanation, the following description and drawings are omitted and simplified as appropriate. In addition, in each drawing, the same elements are given the same reference numerals, and duplicate explanations are omitted as necessary.

[0013] First embodiment FIG. 1 shows a configuration diagram for explaining an outline of the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment has a laminator 2, a flattening press device 3, and a flattening press device 4. The laminator 2, the flattening press device 3, and the flattening press device 4 are all laminate molding devices that pressurize a molded product in which a laminate material is laminated on a laminated body by two pressing mechanisms arranged opposite to each other above and below, thereby molding a molded product. In the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment, the laminator 2, the flattening press device 3, and the flattening press device 4 are arranged in order. Then, in the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment, a primary molded product in which a laminate material is laminated on a laminated body is molded by the laminator 2, and a secondary molded product in which the flatness of the laminate surface of the laminate material of the primary molded product is increased is molded in the flattening press device 3 and the flattening press device 4. By performing the molding in stages in this way, the flatness of the surface of the laminate material of the finished product can be increased.

[0014] In performing the above-mentioned lamination molding, the laminator 2, the flattening press 3, and the flattening press 4 have a pressurizing mechanism that transmits a pressurizing force to the molded product in which the laminate material is placed on the laminated body. The pressurizing mechanism is not particularly limited as long as it applies a pressurizing force to the molded product, and may be, for example, a plate-like member (hot plate) that can be heated or cooled, or a flexible sheet that can be heated or cooled. This allows the primary molded product and the secondary molded product to be suitably manufactured. Therefore, in the example shown in FIG. 1, an example is shown in which the laminator 2, the flattening press 3, and the flattening press 4 have hot plates as a pressurizing mechanism. In FIG. 1, an example is shown in which the laminator 2 has an upper hot plate 21 and a lower hot plate 22, the flattening press 3 has an upper hot plate 31 and a lower hot plate 32, and the flattening press 4 has an upper hot plate 41 and a lower hot plate 42.

[0015] In the lamination molding system according to the first embodiment, the molded article, which is a laminated material placed on a laminated body, is placed on the carrier film and moved between the laminator 2 and the flattening press device 4. Therefore, in the lamination molding system according to the first embodiment, the film unwinder 1 is arranged in front of the laminator 2, and the film winder 5 is arranged in the rear of the flattening press device 4. The molded article is placed on the carrier film unwound by the film unwinder 1, and the carrier film is wound up by the film winder 5, so that the molded article is moved from the laminator 2 to the flattening press device 4. In the example shown in FIG. 1, a lamination molding system is shown in which the molded article is sandwiched between two carrier films arranged above and below and moved. In the example shown in FIG. 1, an example is shown in which the film unwinder 1 is provided with an upper carrier film supply roll 11 and a lower carrier film supply roll 12 that are the supply sources of the carrier film. Furthermore, FIG. 1 shows an example in which the film winding machine 5 includes an upper carrier film winding roll 51 and a lower carrier film winding roll 52 that wind up the carrier film.

[0016] In this disclosure, for convenience, it may be said that the molded product having the laminated material laminated on the laminated body is pressed, even when the molded product having the laminated material placed on the laminated body is pressed by laminator 2.

[0017] The laminated molding system according to the first embodiment is characterized in that a fan is provided on the top surface of each device. This fan supplies a downward air current that flows downward from the top surface of the housing of each device. In the example shown in FIG. 1, the film unwinder 1 is provided with a fan 10, the laminator 2 is provided with a fan 20, the flattening press device 3 is provided with a fan 30, the flattening press device 4 is provided with a fan 40, and the film winder 5 is provided with a fan 50. However, it is sufficient that the fan is provided in at least one of the devices of the film unwinder 1, the laminator 2, the flattening press device 3, the flattening press device 4, and the film winder 5.

[0018] As described above, the fan supplies a downward airflow into the housing of each device, thereby discharging foreign matter from the housing downward. Therefore, in the laminated molding system according to the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1, an exhaust space is provided at the bottom of each device. That is, in the example shown in FIG. 1, in the laminated molding system according to the first embodiment, an exhaust hole or space is provided at the bottom of the housing of each device. Note that the foreign matter is a minute contaminant (mixture) that can be confirmed by observation with the naked eye or a microscope, or by a measuring means such as a particle counter, and its shape, size, and material are not particularly limited. The foreign matter is, for example, fine particles of resin, metal, or ceramic. The foreign matter may also be, for example, minute organic matter such as chemical fibers or pollen.

[0019] The fan is also highly effective in preventing foreign matter from accumulating above the housing due to an updraft caused by air heated by a heating element such as a hot plate or a motor. Therefore, in the following explanation, a lamination molding device using a hot plate as a pressurizing mechanism will be explained. In addition, the lamination molding device has a common problem caused by foreign matter caused by the fan in all of the laminator 2, the flattening press device 3, and the flattening press device 4, but in the following explanation, the configuration and effect of the fan will be explained using the laminator 2 as an example.

[0020] Fig. 2 shows a configuration diagram of the laminator 2 according to the embodiment 1. As shown in Fig. 2, the laminator 2 presses the workpiece A1 with an upper hot plate 21 and a lower hot plate 22. The workpiece A1 is formed by superposing a laminated film A3, which is a lamination material, on a substrate material A2, which is an object to be laminated.

[0021] The laminator 2 has a pressurizing section that transmits a pressure to the upper hot plate 21 and the lower hot plate 22. In addition to the upper hot plate 21 and the lower hot plate 22, the pressurizing section has heat insulating plates 23 and 24, a fixed plate 25, a movable plate 26, a tie bar 27, a base plate 28, and a driving section 29. The configuration of the driving section 29 is not particularly limited, but the driving section 29 may be configured to include, for example, a driving unit 29a that generates hydraulic pressure or pneumatic pressure, a cylinder 29b, and a ram 29c. The driving section 29 may also be configured such that the driving unit 29a is replaced by a servo motor, the cylinder 29b is replaced by a ball nut, and the ram 29c is replaced by a screw shaft. In the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, the upper hot plate 21 is attached to the surface of the fixed plate 25 that faces the molded object A1 via the heat insulating plate 23. In the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, the lower heating plate 22 is attached via the heat insulating plate 24 to the surface of the movable platen 26 facing the molded body A1.

[0022] In the laminator 2, the base plate 28 and the fixed plate 25 are connected by a tie bar 27. The movable plate 26 is provided with housing parts 26a at the four corners. The ball spline cylinder provided on the tie bar 27 is arranged to pass through the housing parts 26a. The movable plate 26 is supported by a ram 29c arranged on the lower side. The cylinder 29b raises and lowers the movable plate 26 by pushing up or down the ram 29c based on an instruction from the drive unit 29a. As a result, the pressurizing section is configured so that the movable plate 26 can approach and move away from the fixed plate 25, and the closer the movable plate 26 is to the fixed plate 25, the more the pressurizing force applied to the molded product A1 is increased. The drive unit 29a controls the force and speed with which the movable plate 26 is raised and lowered relative to the cylinder 29b based on an instruction from a control panel (not shown).

[0023] As shown in Fig. 2, in the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, the pressure applying unit is surrounded by a housing. In the example shown in Fig. 2, the housing is shown with a top surface HOU1, a bottom surface HOU2, and side surfaces HOU3 and HOU4. Although not shown in Fig. 2, the laminator 2 has four sides of the pressure applying unit surrounded by side members. In the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, an exhaust hole is provided in the bottom surface HOU2. In the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, a fan 20 is mounted above the top surface HOU1.

[0024] The fan 20 may simply supply a downward airflow from outside the housing to the housing, but more preferably, it supplies an airflow taken in from the outside through a filter that removes foreign matter as a downward airflow into the housing. The type of filter is not particularly limited, but it is preferable that the filter is a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter or a ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) filter in order to remove foreign matter of 1 μm or less. Here, the HEPA filter may be defined as a filter that can capture 99.97% or more of particles having a particle diameter of 0.3 μm or more, and the ULPA filter may be defined as a filter that can capture 99.9995% or more of particles having a particle diameter of 0.15 μm or more. The particle capture performance of the filter may be evaluated, for example, according to JIS B 9908 or ISO16890. In this way, by providing a filter that removes fine particles, it is possible to prevent foreign matter from outside the housing from entering the housing.

[0025] Next, the flow of the downward airflow supplied by the fan 20 in the housing will be described. Here, the difference in the airflow with and without the fan 20 will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 shows a diagram for explaining the airflow in a laminator according to a comparative example that does not have the fan 20. As shown in FIG. 3, without the fan 20, the air heated by the heat sources such as the upper hot plate 21, the lower hot plate 22, and the drive unit 29a becomes an ascending airflow and flows upward in the housing. Therefore, the foreign matter DST accumulates near the top surface of the housing. The foreign matter DST thus accumulated grows into a large lump, falls, and adheres to the molded product A1 or the upper carrier film, causing a decrease in the flatness of the molded product.

[0026] Next, Fig. 4 is a diagram for explaining the air flow in the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 4, in the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, the air heated by the heat sources such as the upper hot plate 21, the lower hot plate 22, and the drive unit 29a is swept away by the downward air current because the intake air current supplied from the fan 20 becomes a downward air current, and is discharged from the bottom surface HOU2. As a result, foreign matter in the housing of the laminator 2 is discharged outside the housing, so there is less risk that the foreign matter DST will damage the flatness of the molded product as in the laminator according to the comparative example in Fig. 3.

[0027] Here, a configuration example of the fan 20 described above will be described. FIG. 5 shows a diagram for explaining a configuration example of the fan 20 according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5, the fan 20 has a fan housing section 61, an intake port 62, an outlet port 63, a first filter 64, a second filter 65, a motor 66, fins 67, and a seal section 68. In the fan 20, the motor 66 and the fins 67 are housed in the fan housing section 61. The outlet port 63 is provided through the second filter 65 at the lower part of the fan housing section 61 (for example, inside the housing of the laminator 2). Meanwhile, the intake port 62 is provided through the first filter 64 at the upper part of the fan housing section 61. In the fan 20, the motor 66 rotates the fins 67 based on a control signal provided from a control section (not shown), so that the air sucked in from the intake port 62 is sent to the outlet port 63 side.

[0028] In the example shown in Fig. 5, filters are provided on the intake port 62 side and the delivery port 63 side, but the locations and number of filters are not particularly limited, and it is preferable to provide filters on the delivery port side and the intake port side, respectively. Also, the first filter 64 and the second filter 65 may be the same or different. In order to make the motor 66 more compact, it is preferable that the first filter 64 has a relatively large mesh and the second filter 65 has a relatively fine mesh.

[0029] As shown in FIG. 5, the rotation radius of the fin 67 (for example, the length from the rotation axis to the tip of the fin 37) is preferably set so that the angle θ between the line Xt connecting the outer periphery of the circle that is the rotation path of the tip of the fin 67 and the corner of the upper surface end of the fixed platen 25 and the vertical line Xv is in the range of 0 degrees to 75 degrees, and more preferably set to 5 degrees to 55 degrees. If the angle θ is too large, most of the downward airflow sent out from the fan 20 is blocked by the fixed platen, so that the efficiency of increasing the cleanliness inside the housing may decrease. On the other hand, if the angle θ is too small, there is a problem that the size of the fan 20 increases more than necessary or the number of fans increases more than necessary. However, by appropriately setting the angle θ, the cleanliness inside the housing can be improved and the fan 20 can be prevented from becoming excessively large.

[0030] As described above, the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment has a configuration in which a fan is provided on the top surface of each device to discharge foreign matter inside the housing of each device to the outside. As a result, the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment can efficiently mold molded products with high flatness.

[0031] In addition, in the lamination molding system, a hot plate may be used as a pressure mechanism in the lamination molding device, and the rising air current caused by a heat source such as a hot plate may cause foreign matter to accumulate inside the housing. However, in the lamination molding system according to the first embodiment, the air heated by the fan installed on the top surface is discharged to the lower side where the exhaust port is located, so that the installation of the fan in each device having a housing with a built-in heat source is highly effective in preventing the decrease in flatness caused by foreign matter.

[0032] The laminate molding system may be installed in a clean room. In this clean room, foreign matter is generally constantly discharged from the room by a downward airflow from the ceiling to the floor. Therefore, by supplying the downward airflow into the housing in a direction that does not oppose the airflow in the clean room, as in the laminate molding system according to the first embodiment, it is possible to efficiently discharge foreign matter from the housing while suppressing the output of the fan.

[0033] In addition, in the laminate molding system, a fan may be provided in each device to supply air from the outside into the housing, so that the air pressure inside the housing is kept at a positive pressure higher than the air pressure outside the housing. By maintaining a positive pressure inside the housing in this way, it is possible to further suppress the inflow of foreign matter from outside the housing while discharging foreign matter to the outside of the housing.

[0034] Embodiment 2 In the second embodiment, a description will be given of a laminator 2a having a different form of the pressurizing unit of the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment. In the description of the second embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.

[0035] Fig. 6 is a diagram for explaining the air flow in laminator 2a according to embodiment 2. As shown in Fig. 6, in laminator 2a, fixed platen 25 has inclined end surface 25a having a tapered shape with the end lower than the top surface. In this way, by providing inclined end surface 25a at the end of the surface facing fan 20 in the pressurizing section, the downward air flow supplied from fan 20 can be made to flow toward bottom surface HOU2 without reducing the flow speed.

[0036] From the above description, in the laminator 2a according to the second embodiment, the fixed platen 25 is provided with an inclined end surface 25a having a tapered shape with the end lower than the top surface. The angle of the tapered shape is not particularly limited, but is preferably in the range of 5 degrees to 75 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane. In this way, the downward airflow supplied from the fan 20 can be made to flow toward the bottom surface HOU2 without decreasing the flow rate. This makes it possible to more suitably discharge foreign matter inside the housing to the outside of the housing.

[0037] Third embodiment In the third embodiment, a description will be given of a laminator 2b having side surfaces HOU3 and HOU4 different from those of the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment. In the description of the third embodiment, the same components as those in the first embodiment will be denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.

[0038] Fig. 7 is a diagram for explaining the air flow in the laminator 2b according to the third embodiment. As shown in Fig. 7, in the third embodiment, the side surfaces HOU3 and HOU4 of the laminator 2b are provided with louvers LOU that serve as exhaust ports for discharging air from within the housing. As shown in Fig. 7, in the laminator 2b according to the third embodiment, the flow of the downward airflow supplied from the fan 20 is adjusted, and the exhaust airflow generated by a heat source such as the upper hot plate 21 is discharged from the louvers LOU provided on the side surfaces.

[0039] As described above, in the laminator 2b according to the third embodiment, the louvers LOU are provided on the side surfaces HOU3 and HOU4, so that the flow of the downward air current supplied from the fan 20 can be adjusted. This makes it possible to more effectively discharge foreign matter inside the housing to the outside of the housing.

[0040] Fourth embodiment In the fourth embodiment, a laminator 2c, which is another embodiment of the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment, will be described. Fig. 8 shows a configuration diagram of the laminator 2c according to the fourth embodiment. The molded product is transported by a carrier film, but since the carrier film is a resin film such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), static electricity is easily generated, and dust inside the casing is easily attracted to the carrier film or the laminated product. This may result in a decrease in cleanliness during molding of the laminated product.

[0041] 8, the layered molding system according to the fourth embodiment differs from the above-mentioned embodiments in that it includes a static elimination mechanism 70 in addition to the fan 20. In the description of the fourth embodiment, the same components as those described in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.

[0042] The main components of the static elimination mechanism 70 will be described with reference to Fig. 9. The static elimination mechanism 70 includes an intake port 71 that receives the clean airflow sent out from the fan 20, an ion generator 73 that generates ions 72 for static elimination, an outlet port 74 that sends out the ions 72 together with the airflow into the housing, and a seal section 75 that air-tightly connects the fan 20 side and the housing side.

[0043] The number of ions generated by the ion generating device 73 tends to decrease as time passes. For this reason, it is preferable that the blowing air speed of the fan 20 is high. However, if the wind speed is excessively high, the airflow inside the housing is likely to become turbulent, which may hinder the operation of the laminate molding system. For this reason, the airflow blown out from the fan 20 is set to have a wind speed of 0.1 to 1.5 meters per second (m / sec) and an air volume of 0.5 to 25 cubic meters per minute (m 3 / min), and the wind speed is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 1.0 meters per second (m / sec) and the air volume is preferably in the range of 5 to 20 cubic meters per minute (m 3 It is more preferable that the air volume and the air speed are in the range of 10 minutes.

[0044] The method by which the ion generator 73 generates ions is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a method of applying a current to an electrode needle (corona discharge method) or a method of irradiating the air with electromagnetic waves such as X-rays. This generates ions in the air, and enables efficient neutralization of fine particles, carrier films, etc. When applying a current to the electrode needle, it may be either direct current or alternating current, but it is preferable to use an alternating current pulse current.

[0045] The seal portion 75 is provided to airtightly connect the fan 20 to the intake port 71, and the exhaust port 74 to the housing. There is no particular limitation on the means for making the connections airtight, but it is preferable to use a packing having elasticity and adhesion, such as resin or rubber. The seal portion 75 may be provided on the fan 20 or the housing.

[0046] As described above, in the layered molding system according to the fourth embodiment, by providing the static elimination mechanism 70 in addition to the fan 20, the cleanliness level inside the housing can be further improved.

[0047] Fifth embodiment In the fifth embodiment, a laminator that is another embodiment of the laminator 2 according to the first embodiment will be described. The cleanliness level of the laminated object during molding may change over time due to maintenance of the laminated molding system, deterioration of the filter, etc. This may temporarily reduce the cleanliness level of the laminated object during molding, which may hinder laminated molding in a clean environment. Therefore, the laminated molding system according to the fifth embodiment is different from the above-mentioned embodiments in that the laminator 2 is provided with a cleanliness level monitor 80.

[0048] The main components of the cleanliness monitoring device 80 will be described with reference to Fig. 10. The cleanliness monitoring device 80 includes an intake unit 81 that takes in air inside the housing of the laminator 2, a measurement unit 82 that measures the amount and size of particles in the taken-in air, an exhaust unit 83 that exhausts the air after measurement, a communication unit 84 that transmits the measurement results from the measurement unit, and an output unit 85 that displays the communicated measurement results.

[0049] Next, the principle of the cleanliness monitoring device 80 will be described. Air in the housing of the laminator 2 is taken in by the suction unit 81 and sent to the measurement unit 82. The measurement unit 82 scatters light by irradiating the air with a laser beam. Such scattered light is detected by a light receiving element provided in the measurement unit 82 and converted into an electric signal. This electric signal is sent to the output unit 85 via the communication unit 84, and the output unit 85 counts the magnitude of the electric signal (voltage) as the size of the particles in the air and the number of electric signals as the number of particles in the air, and displays them as a waveform over time, for example. The air after measurement is discharged from the discharge unit 83. Note that the intake and discharge of air in the housing may be performed using a pump.

[0050] When particulate matter exceeding a predetermined threshold in size or amount is confirmed, the output unit 85 may issue a warning by a method such as turning on an alarm or a rotating light. When a warning is issued, the filter is replaced, etc.

[0051] As described above, in the lamination molding system according to the fifth embodiment, by providing the cleanliness monitoring device 80, the cleanliness level inside the housing can be further improved.

[0052] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. [Explanation of symbols]
