Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a hair dye composition. [Background technology]

[0002] For hair dyeing, oxidation hair dyes that dye hair by oxidation reaction in the coexistence of an alkaline agent and an oxidizing agent are widely used. However, while these oxidation hair dyes have excellent dyeing effects and can dye hair to a desired color, they may cause damage to hair and scalp. In contrast, hair dyes using basic dyes or HC dyes are known as treatments that cause less damage to hair and the scalp. Among these hair dyes using basic dyes or HC dyes, color treatments are known as hair dyes that can dye hair at the same time as the treatment, are easy to use, and have excellent dyeing uniformity. As an example of a color treatment, Patent Document 1 discloses a hair dye composition containing component A: HC Blue 16, component B: one or more dyes selected from the group consisting of Basic Orange 31, Basic Red 51, Basic Red 76, Basic Yellow 87, and Basic Yellow 57, component C: HC Blue 2, and component D: one or more dyes selected from the group consisting of HC Yellow 4 and HC Yellow 2. [0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a hair dye composition which has a gray hair concealing effect and can suppress changes in color tone due to continuous use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0008] Hereinafter, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail. Note that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described here, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

[0009] [Hair dye composition] The hair dye composition of the present invention comprises at least one dye selected from the group consisting of HC Blue 16 (component A), HC Blue 2 and HC Blue 12 (component B), at least one dye selected from the group consisting of Basic Red 76 and Basic Yellow 57 (component C1), at least one dye selected from the group consisting of Basic Red 51, Basic Yellow 87, Basic Orange 31 and Basic Brown 17 (component C2), and a cationic surfactant (component D).

[0010] <Component A> Ingredient A is HC Blue 16, a compound represented by the INCI name (International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary and Handbook, 15th Edition, Vol. 1, 2014, p. 1449): HC BLUE NO. 16.

[0011] Commercially available products may also be used as Component A. Examples of commercially available products of Component A include the product name "HC Blue No. 16" manufactured by Artec Chemical Co., Ltd.

[0012] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of component A is preferably 0.1% by mass or more, more preferably 0.15% by mass or more, even more preferably 0.2% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 0.25% by mass or more, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. The content of component A is preferably 1.0% by mass or less, more preferably 0.8% by mass or less, even more preferably 0.6% by mass or less, particularly preferably 0.5% by mass or less, and particularly preferably 0.4% by mass or less, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. When the content of component A is above the above lower limit, the dyeability of hair, particularly the effect of dyeing gray hair and the effect of hiding gray hair, are easily improved, and the change in color tone due to continuous use is easily suppressed. When the content of component A is below the above upper limit, the effect of suppressing skin dyeing is easily improved, and the color transfer to towels, clothes, etc. due to the dye dissolved in water after washing with water is easily suppressed.

[0013] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of Component A is preferably 0.1 to 1.0% by mass, more preferably 0.15 to 0.8% by mass, even more preferably 0.2 to 0.6% by mass, particularly preferably 0.25 to 0.5% by mass, and particularly preferably 0.25 to 0.4% by mass, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. When the content of Component A is within the above range, the effect of hiding gray hair and the effect of suppressing skin dyeing are likely to be improved, and changes in color tone due to continuous use and color transfer to towels, clothes, etc. due to the dye dissolved in water after rinsing are likely to be suppressed.

[0014] <Component B> Component B is at least one dye selected from the group consisting of HC Blue 2 and HC Blue 12. Component B may be either HC Blue 2 or HC Blue 12, or both HC Blue 2 and HC Blue 12. HC Blue 2 is a compound represented by the INCI name: HC BLUE NO. 2, and HC Blue 12 is a compound represented by the INCI name: HC Blue No. 12. By including component B in addition to component A, the saturation does not become too high, and the gray hair concealing effect is easily improved.

[0015] In the hair dye composition of the present invention, the mass ratio (A / B) of component A to component B is greater than 1. The present inventors have found that when both component A and component B are contained as blue dyes such that the mass ratio (A / B) is greater than 1, the dyeability for gray hair can be improved, the gray hair concealing effect can be improved, and the change in color tone due to continuous use can be suppressed. When the mass ratio (A / B) is greater than 1, component A is a dye with higher color saturation and dyeability than component B, so it is considered that a hair dye composition having higher dyeability and gray hair concealing effect can be obtained. In addition, the reason why the change in color tone due to continuous use can be suppressed by making the mass ratio (A / B) greater than 1 is not clear, but it is considered that this is because the content of component B, which tends to become lighter in color over time, is set to a specific ratio or less relative to component A, which has a relatively small change in dyeability, making it easier to maintain the overall color balance.

[0016] In addition, in general, many HC dyes and basic dyes are prone to change in chemical structure and dyeing results over time. When a hair dye composition is stored at a low temperature of about 5°C, there is almost no change in the dye before and after storage, but when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively high temperature (for example, 30°C or higher, particularly 40°C or higher), the HC dyes and basic dyes contained in the hair dye composition are prone to change over time. Therefore, there is a difference in dyeing results between the case where a hair dye composition before storage or a hair dye composition stored at a low temperature is used and the case where a hair dye composition stored at a relatively high temperature is used, and the desired dyeing results may not be obtained. However, the present inventors have surprisingly found that by making the mass ratio (A / B) greater than 1, the difference in dyeing results can be reduced even when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively high temperature. Thus, the hair dye composition of the present invention can reduce the difference in dyeing results between when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively high temperature and when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively low temperature. In other words, the hair dye composition of the present invention has high dyeing stability even when stored at a relatively high temperature. The reason for this is not clear, but it is believed that this is because component A is a dye whose chemical structure and dyeing results are less likely to change over time, even when stored at a relatively high temperature, compared with component B. Hereinafter, in this specification, the small difference in dyeing results between when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively high temperature and when the hair dye composition is stored at a relatively low temperature may be described as "high dyeing stability when stored at high temperatures" or simply "high dyeing stability". In this specification, the dyeing result refers to the color and tone of dyed hair. Therefore, the small difference in the dyeing result refers to the small difference in the color and tone of dyed hair. In addition, in this specification, the suppression of color tone change due to continuous use refers to the fact that the same dyeing result is likely to be obtained every time the product is used continuously.

[0017] On the other hand, if the mass ratio (A / B) of component A to component B is less than 1, the dyeability, gray hair hiding effect, and dye stability during high-temperature storage are likely to decrease, and the color tone is likely to change significantly with continued use.

[0018] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio (A / B) of component A to component B is preferably 1.2 or more, more preferably 1.5 or more, even more preferably 1.8 or more, and particularly preferably 2 or more, from the viewpoint of improving dyeability, gray hair concealing effect, and dyeing stability, and from the viewpoint of suppressing color tone change due to continuous use. Moreover, the mass ratio (A / B) of component A to component B is preferably 20 or less, more preferably 10 or less, even more preferably 5 or less, and particularly preferably 3 or less, from the viewpoint of enhancing the gray hair concealing effect. When the mass ratio (A / B) is equal to or less than the above upper limit, it is possible to suppress the saturation from becoming too high, and therefore the gray hair concealing effect is easily enhanced.

[0019] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio (A / B) of component A to component B is preferably greater than 1 and equal to or less than 20, more preferably from 1.2 to 20, even more preferably from 1.5 to 10, even more preferably from 1.8 to 5, and particularly preferably from 2 to 3. When the mass ratio (A / B) is within the above range, dyeability, gray hair concealing effect, and dye stability are easily improved, and changes in color tone due to continuous use are easily suppressed.

[0020] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of component B is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, more preferably 0.05% by mass or more, even more preferably 0.08% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 0.1% by mass or more, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. The content of component B is preferably 1.0% by mass or less, more preferably 0.5% by mass or less, even more preferably 0.3% by mass or less, and particularly preferably 0.2% by mass or less, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. When the content of component B is equal to or more than the above lower limit, it is easy to improve the dyeability and gray hair hiding effect on hair. When the content of component B is equal to or less than the above upper limit, it is easy to improve the dyeing stability and pH stability, and it is easy to suppress the color transfer to towels, clothes, etc. caused by the dye dissolved in water after washing with water.

[0021] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of component B is preferably 0.01 to 1.0 mass%, more preferably 0.05 to 0.5 mass%, further preferably 0.08 to 0.3 mass%, particularly preferably 0.1 to 0.2 mass%, and particularly preferably 0.1 to 0.15 mass%. When the content of component B is within the above range, hair dyeability, gray hair concealing effect, dye stability, and pH stability are easily improved, and color transfer to towels, clothes, etc. due to the dye dissolved in water after rinsing is easily suppressed.

[0022] In one embodiment of the present invention, the total content of component A and component B may be, for example, 0.11 to 2.0% by mass based on the total amount of the hair dye composition, but from the viewpoint of efficiently obtaining a gray hair dyeing effect with a small amount of dye, it is preferably 1.0% by mass or less, more preferably 0.9% by mass or less, even more preferably 0.8% by mass or less, even more preferably less than 0.6% by mass, and particularly preferably 0.55% by mass or less. In one embodiment of the present invention, the total content of component A and component B may be, for example, 0.11 to 1.0% by mass, more preferably 0.15 to 0.9% by mass, even more preferably 0.15 to 0.8% by mass, even more preferably 0.2% by mass or more and less than 0.6% by mass, and particularly preferably 0.2 to 0.55% by mass based on the total amount of the hair dye composition.

[0023] <Component C1 and Component C2> Component C1 is at least one dye selected from the group consisting of Basic Red 76 and Basic Yellow 57, and component C2 is at least one dye selected from the group consisting of Basic Red 51, Basic Yellow 87, Basic Orange 31, and Basic Brown 17. The present inventors have studied red and yellow dyes to be combined with the blue dyes of components A and B, and have found that by combining components C1 and C2 selected from a specific group with components A and B, dyeability, gray hair concealing effect, and dyeing stability during high-temperature storage can be improved, and further, changes in color tone due to continuous use can be easily suppressed. Therefore, by containing components C1 and C2, the hair dye composition of the present invention has sufficient dyeing effect and gray hair concealing effect, and has high dyeing stability even when stored at relatively high temperatures. In addition, since the hair dye composition of the present invention contains both components C1 and C2, changes in color tone due to continuous use can be suppressed.

[0047] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of component D is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, more preferably 0.1% by mass or more, even more preferably 0.5% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 1.0% by mass or more, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. [0048] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of Component D is, from the viewpoint of easily improving finger-combing during rinsing with water, preferably 0.01 to 5.0 mass%, more preferably 0.1 to 5.0 mass%, even more preferably 0.5 to 4.0 mass%, and particularly preferably 1.0 to 3.0 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition.

[0049] <Component E> In one embodiment of the present invention, the hair dye composition of the present invention preferably further contains urea as component E from the viewpoint of improving the pH stability of the hair dye composition and reducing the squeaky feeling during rinsing and improving the smoothness of the hair. According to the present inventors, when a hair dye composition containing component B (HC Blue 2 and / or HC Blue 12) is stored at a relatively high temperature (e.g., 30°C or higher, particularly 40°C or higher), the pH of the hair dye composition may decrease. However, the present inventors have investigated the pH stability of the hair dye composition and found that when component B is combined with urea, the pH stability of the hair dye composition is improved, specifically, the pH of the hair dye composition is less likely to decrease even when stored at a relatively high temperature of 30°C or higher, particularly 40°C or higher. The reason why the pH stability can be improved by including component E is not clear, but the following reason is presumed. One of the reasons why the pH of a hair dye composition containing component B decreases when stored at a relatively high temperature is that the chemical structure of the dye of component B changes over time, which acts in the direction of decreasing the pH of the hair dye composition. On the other hand, when a hair dye composition containing component E is stored at a relatively high temperature, component E may act to increase the pH of the hair dye composition. Therefore, by combining component B, which decreases the pH of the hair dye composition over time, with component E, which increases the pH of the hair dye composition over time, it is believed that the pH of the hair dye composition is less likely to decrease even when stored at a relatively high temperature.

[0050] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of component E (urea) is preferably 0.01% by mass or more, more preferably 0.05% by mass or more, and even more preferably 0.1% by mass or more, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. The content of component E is preferably 10% by mass or less, more preferably 5% by mass or less, and even more preferably 2% by mass or less, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition. When the content of component E is equal to or more than the above lower limit, the pH stability is easily improved. When the content of component E is equal to or less than the above upper limit, the stability of the hair dye composition is easily improved.

[0051] In one embodiment of the present invention, the content of Component E (urea) is preferably 0.01 to 10 mass%, more preferably 0.05 to 5 mass%, and even more preferably 0.1 to 2 mass%, based on the total amount of the hair dye composition, from the viewpoint of improving pH stability.

[0052] In one embodiment of the present invention, from the viewpoint of enhancing the gray hair concealing effect and pH stability, the mass ratio (B / E) of component B to component E is preferably 2 or less or less than 2, more preferably 1.5 or less, even more preferably 1 or less, still more preferably 0.8 or less, and particularly preferably 0.6 or less. In addition, from the viewpoint of further enhancing pH stability, the mass ratio (B / E) of component B to component E is preferably 0.1 or more, more preferably 0.15 or more, even more preferably 0.18 or more, and particularly preferably 0.2 or more.

[0053] In one embodiment of the present invention, from the viewpoint of enhancing the gray hair concealing effect and pH stability, the mass ratio of component B to component E (B / E) is preferably 0.1 to 2, more preferably 0.1 or more and less than 2, even more preferably 0.15 to 1.5, even more preferably 0.18 to 1, particularly preferably 0.18 to 0.8, and especially preferably 0.2 to 0.6.

[0054] In one embodiment of the present invention, the mass ratio (E / [A+B+C1+C2]) of component E to the total amount of components A, B, C1, and C2 is preferably 0.1 or more, more preferably 0.2 or more, and even more preferably 0.3 or more, from the viewpoint of improving pH stability. Moreover, the mass ratio (E / [A+B+C1+C2]) is preferably 2 or less, more preferably 1.5 or less, and even more preferably 1 or less, from the viewpoint of further improving pH stability.

Specifically, the hair dye composition can be produced by the following method in which the aqueous phase is added to the oil phase to emulsify. For example, the aqueous phase heated to 70 to 90°C is gradually added to the oil phase that has been sufficiently dissolved by heating to 70 to 90°C, and emulsified by thoroughly stirring for 5 minutes. After emulsification, the mixture is cooled to 20 to 40°C and thoroughly and uniformly stirred, and then additives such as urea and pH adjusters previously dissolved in water are added, and the mixture is thoroughly and uniformly stirred to obtain a cream-like hair dye composition. EXAMPLES

[0070] The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the following examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

[0071] Example 1 The hair dye composition was prepared by mixing the components in the ratio shown in Table 1. Specifically, the oil phase components were uniformly heated to 80°C, and the aqueous phase in which the dye and other ingredients were heated to 80°C and dissolved was added to the oil phase, which was then uniformly emulsified and cooled to 40°C. Additives were then added to obtain a cream-like hair dye composition. Sodium hydroxide was added in an amount such that the pH of the hair dye composition at 25°C would be 6.8.

[0072] [Examples 2 to 15 and Comparative Examples 1 to 9] According to the compositions shown in Tables 1 and 2, hair dye compositions were prepared in the same manner as in Example 1.

[0073] [Stainability] An untreated white human hair bundle (manufactured by Beaulax Co., Ltd., length 10 cm, weight 1 g) was used as the test hair bundle. The hair bundle for testing was washed with a commercially available shampoo, and then lightly drained. After that, 5 g of each hair dye composition obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples immediately after production was applied to the hair bundle for testing, and the composition was applied to the entire hair bundle (hair) using a brush for 1 minute. After leaving the hair bundle for 5 minutes, the hair dye composition was thoroughly washed off from the hair bundle using lukewarm water at 40°C, and the hair bundle was thoroughly dried using a towel, and then thoroughly dried using a dryer to prepare the hair bundle for evaluation. The obtained evaluation hair bundles were observed, and the dyeability was evaluated by seven expert evaluators according to the following criteria. The average evaluation results of the seven expert evaluators are shown in Tables 1 and 2. (Evaluation criteria for dyeability) 5: Very darkly stained. 4: Darkly stained. 3: Dyed (standard) 2: Slightly stained 1: No dyeing effect

[0074] [Effect of suppressing color change due to continuous use] The hair dyeing process (from washing with shampoo to drying) described in [Dyeability] was carried out, and two hair bundles were prepared for each example, dyed with the hair dye composition obtained in the examples and comparative examples. Then, the same hair dyeing process was carried out four more times for one of the two dyed human hair bundles for each example, and the hair dye was continuously applied to the human hair bundle. In this way, a hair bundle that had been dyed once and a hair bundle that had been dyed five times were prepared for each example and comparative example. The evaluation hair bundles that had been dyed once and the evaluation hair bundles that had been dyed five times were visually compared, and the results of the observations were combined to evaluate the effect of inhibiting discoloration due to continuous use by seven expert evaluators according to the following criteria. The average evaluation results of the seven expert evaluators are shown in Tables 1 and 2. (Evaluation criteria for the effect of preventing discoloration due to continuous use) 5: Excellent discoloration prevention effect 4: Excellent discoloration prevention effect 3: Slightly less effective at preventing discoloration 2: Inferior discoloration prevention effect 1: No discoloration prevention effect

[0075] [Hides gray hair] A test hair bundle containing 30% untreated gray hair (manufactured by Beaulax Co., Ltd., length 10 cm, weight 1 g) was used, and the gray hair concealing effect was evaluated as follows. Immediately after production, 5 g of each hair dye composition obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples was applied to the test hair bundle, and the hair bundle (hair) was brushed for 1 minute. After leaving the hair bundle for 5 minutes, the hair dye composition was thoroughly washed off from the hair bundle with lukewarm water at 40°C, towel-dried, and then thoroughly dried with a hair dryer to prepare a hair bundle for evaluation. The obtained hair bundle for evaluation was observed with the naked eye and evaluated for gray hair concealing effect by seven expert evaluators according to the following criteria. The average scores of the evaluation results by the seven expert evaluators are shown in Tables 1 and 2. (Evaluation criteria for gray hair concealing effect) 5: Grey hair is less noticeable 4: Gray hair is slightly noticeable 3: Gray hair is noticeable 2: Gray hair is not dyed very much 1: Gray hair is not dyed

[0076] [Staining stability] 30 g of each of the hair dye compositions obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples was placed in a 200 mL polyethylene bottle with a cap and stored in a thermostatic chamber at 50° C. for 4 weeks to obtain hair dye compositions stored at 50° C. for 4 weeks. Similarly, hair dye compositions stored at 5° C. for 4 weeks were obtained. In the hair dyeing process described in [Dyeability] (processing from washing with shampoo to drying), the "hair dye compositions obtained in the Examples and Comparative Examples immediately after production" were changed to "hair dye compositions stored at 50°C for 4 weeks" and "hair dye compositions stored at 5°C for 4 weeks," but the hair bundles for evaluation were prepared in the same manner as in the evaluation of dyeability. Generally, 5°C is a temperature at which decomposition of the dye and changes in dyeability of hair are unlikely to occur, while 50°C is a temperature at which decomposition of the dye and changes in dyeability of hair are likely to occur. Therefore, the evaluation hair bundle dyed with the hair dye composition stored at 50°C for 4 weeks and the evaluation hair bundle dyed with the hair dye composition stored at 5°C for 4 weeks were visually compared, and the dyeing stability was evaluated by seven expert evaluators according to the following criteria. The average evaluation results of the seven expert evaluators are shown in Tables 1 and 2. (Evaluation criteria for dyeing stability) 5: There is no difference in dyeing results between 50℃ and 5℃ 4. The difference in dyeing results between 50℃ and 5℃ is small. 3. There is a large difference in dyeing results between 50℃ and 5℃ 2: There is a large difference in the dyeing results between 50℃ and 5℃, and the color tones are different. 1: Sufficient dyeing results cannot be obtained at 50℃
