In addition, they have the advantage of being easier to install than ceiling-mounted air conditioners. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-311445 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Although floor-standing air conditioners have the advantages mentioned above, they are prone to sucking in dust from the air conditioner's intake port. Filters are installed inside the air conditioner to prevent dust from entering, but in workplaces where powder is handled, for example, there is a large amount of dust and the filter frequently becomes clogged. For this reason, there has been a demand for air conditioners equipped with filters that are easy to maintain.
[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner filter mounting frame and an air conditioner filter that allow for easy maintenance. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the filter mounting frame for an air conditioner of the present invention is an air conditioner filter mounting frame for mounting at least one filter to the suction side of an intake port of a floor-standing air conditioner having a casing having a rectangular parallelepiped shape and an intake port arranged in the casing, the frame member having four wall surfaces rising from the casing surrounding the outer edge of the intake port, a first end portion which is an end portion facing the casing, and a second end portion opposite the first end portion, and comprising: a frame member that houses a filter in the space inside the four wall surfaces; and a frame fixing member that is arranged on the first end side and fixes the frame member to the casing. Effect of the Invention
[0007] The air conditioner filter mounting frame and air conditioner filter according to the present invention facilitate maintenance. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Diagram 5] 11 is a perspective view showing the filter mounting frame during the process of attaching and detaching the filter. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0009] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of an air conditioner filter mounting frame according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0010] The filter mounting frame for air conditioners according to the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the "filter mounting frame") can be applied to floor-standing air conditioners having an intake port in the casing. The filter mounting frame is particularly effective for air conditioners that are installed in locations where the filtering performance of a filter installed inside the casing (downstream of the intake port) is insufficient. Air conditioners are installed, for example, in various factories such as food processing factories and printing factories where powder is handled in the manufacturing process, causing dust to fly in the air.
[0011] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an air conditioner 1 to which a filter mounting frame 10 is applied.
[0012] FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional view of the air conditioner 1 of FIG.
[0013] In the following description, "front", "rear", "upper", "lower", "right" and "left" follow the definitions in FIGS.
[0014] The air conditioner 1 is a floor-standing type air conditioner 1 connected to an outdoor unit (not shown). The air conditioner 1 mainly includes a casing 2, a heat exchanger 3, a blower 4, a drain pan 5, and a control panel 6.
[0015] The casing 2 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape and is made up of a front plate 2a, a rear plate 2b, a lower plate 2c, an upper plate 2d, a left plate 2g, and a right plate 2h. The front plate 2a has an intake port 2e at the center in the vertical direction. The intake port 2e is simply an opening, and allows the heat exchanger 3 inside the casing to be seen. The upper plate 2d has an exhaust port 2f. The exhaust port 2f is connected to a duct 8 that guides the conditioned air inside the casing 2 to the required location.
[0016] The heat exchanger 3 is attached to the casing 2 inside the suction port 2e of the casing 2 in an inclined position so that the front side faces upward and the rear side faces downward.
[0017] The blower 4 is, for example, a centrifugal fan rotated by a fan directly connected to a motor. The outlet of the blower 4 is connected to the air outlet 2f of the upper plate 2d.
[0018] The drain pan 5 is disposed below the heat exchanger 3 and receives the drainage water that falls from the heat exchanger 3. The drain pan 5 is disposed in the casing 2 in an inclined position with the front facing upward and the rear facing downward. The drainage water is guided to the drain pan 5 by a drain pipe 5a connected to the lower end of the heat exchanger 3.
[0019] The control panel 6 receives user instructions for the air conditioner 1 and displays the operating status. The control panel 6 is connected by wire to a control board (not shown).
[0020] The filter mounting frame 10 mounts two filters 7 (at least one filter 7) on the suction side (front side, upstream side) of the suction port 2e.
[0021] Here, FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the filter mounting frame 10. As shown in FIG.
[0022] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the filter mounting frame 10 to which the filter 7 is attached.
[0023] FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing the filter mounting frame 10 during the process of attaching or detaching the filter 7. As shown in FIG.
[0024] The filter mounting frame 10 is made of a metal having a required strength, etc. The filter mounting frame 10 has a frame member 20, a frame fixing member 30, a panel accommodating member 40, a leg member 50, and a cover fixing member 60.
[0025] The frame member 20 is made up of four wall surfaces 21 forming a frame shape. The four wall surfaces 21 are formed so as to surround the outer edge of the suction port 2e on the suction side and rise forward from the casing 2. The frame member 20 has a rear end 24 (first end) which is an end facing the casing 2, and a front end 25 (second end) opposite the rear end 24. The rear end 24 and the front end 25 together form an opening. The frame member 20 also houses the filter 7 in the space inside the wall surface 21 formed on the inner peripheral surface side. As shown in Figs. 3 to 5, when the filter mounting frame 10 houses two filters 7, the frame member 20 has one partition plate 26 at the center position in the left-right direction. When the filter mounting frame 10 houses one filter 7, the partition plate 26 is omitted, and when the filter mounting frame 10 houses three or more filters 7, the frame member 20 has partition plates 26 according to the number of filters 7.
[0026] The frame fixing member 30 is disposed on the rear end 24 side of the frame member 20, and fixes the frame member 20 (filter mounting frame 10) to the casing 2. The frame fixing member 30 is a flange-shaped portion that spreads outward from the rear end 24. The filter mounting frame 10 is fixed to the front plate 2a of the casing 2 by being screwed at a required position by this frame fixing member 30.
[0027] The panel housing member 40 houses the control panel 6 of the air conditioner 1. The panel housing member 40 is supported by the frame member 20 so as to be openable and closable relative to an opening formed at the front end portion 25. Specifically, the panel housing member 40 is supported at the upper right of the front end portion 25 by a hinge 43 so as to be rotatable about an axis in the vertical direction. The position at which the panel housing member 40 is attached is not limited to this, and may be set appropriately depending on the use of the air conditioner. For example, the panel housing member 40 may be supported so as to be rotatable about an axis in the horizontal direction, or may be instructed below the front end portion 25. The panel housing member 40 is connected to the air conditioner 1 by a wire, and when housed in the panel housing member 40, wiring is provided from the back surface of the panel housing member 40 to the control board of the air conditioner 1.
[0028] The panel housing member 40 has, for example, a back plate 41 and a housing frame 42, and houses the control panel 6 with the periphery covered by the housing frame 42 with the back surface of the control panel 6 in contact with the back plate 41. When in use, the panel housing member 40 is supported such that the back plate 41 is located on the same plane as the surface formed by the opening of the front end portion 25, and the control panel 6 is located in front of the filter 7 housed in the frame member 20.
[0029] The leg members 50 are arranged on the wall surface 21 that faces downward. The leg members 50 are provided to allow the filter mounting frame 10 to stand on its own before being attached to the air conditioner 1. As shown in FIG. 3, for example, the leg members 50 are made of a pair of plate-like members having a surface direction along the up-down and front-rear directions, and multiple pairs (three pairs in FIG. 3) are arranged on the lower plate 2c. This makes the filter mounting frame 10 easy to handle during manufacture and before assembly to the air conditioner 1.
[0030] The cover fixing member 60 is disposed on the front end 25 side of the frame member 20, and fixes a filter cover 9 (grill) that covers an opening formed at the front end 25. The cover fixing member 60 is a flange-shaped portion that extends outward from the upper and lower facing wall surfaces 21 of the wall surfaces 21 that form the front end 25. The filter cover 9 is fixed to the filter mounting frame 10 by being screwed or the like at a required position of this cover fixing member 60, and protects the filter 7 without exposing it.
[0031] In the air conditioner 1 to which such a filter mounting frame 10 is attached, a filter 7 having required performance is disposed inside the frame member 20. The accommodated filter 7 has, for example, a filter pack in which a filter material is folded in a zigzag shape. The filter pack has a rectangular parallelepiped shape having a pair of airflow ventilation surfaces on which folds appear, and a pair of end surfaces perpendicular to the ventilation surfaces and on which a zigzag shape appears. By having such a filter pack, when the filter 7 is to collect powder, dust accumulates on the rear ventilation surface that forms the valleys when viewed from the front, while dust does not accumulate on the front ventilation surface that forms the peaks, and an air ventilation surface is secured.
[0032] Here, when the air conditioner 1 is installed in a workplace where powder is handled, it is inevitable that dust in the air will be sucked in through the suction port 2e. Although a filter can be installed on a grill or the like arranged at the suction port 2e, if there is a large amount of dust, it is likely to become clogged, and maintenance work will become more frequent. In addition, the above problem can be solved by applying a filter suitable for dust to the air conditioner 1. However, such a filter tends to be large in volume, and the air conditioner 1 does not have space to install such a filter.
[0033] In contrast, the filter mounting frame 10 in this embodiment can easily mount the filter 7 as long as it is possible to mount the filter mounting frame 10 to the front surface of the air intake 2e without being affected by the structure of the air conditioner 1. That is, the filter mounting frame 10 can be used to mount the filter 7 later even in an existing air conditioner 1, and the filter 7 can be selectively mounted depending on the installation location even in a newly installed air conditioner 1.
[0034] Furthermore, because the filter mounting frame 10 allows the filter 7 to be attached to the outside of the air conditioner 1, there is no need to access the inside of the air conditioner 1 during filter maintenance such as filter replacement, making maintenance easier.
[0035] Furthermore, the control panel 6 is often disposed in the casing 2 of the air conditioner 1, for example, near the air inlet 2e, and there is a risk of it interfering with the filter mounting frame 10. In contrast, the filter mounting frame 10 in this embodiment has a panel housing member 40 that houses the control panel 6. This does not interfere with the placement of the control panel 6 due to the provision of the filter mounting frame 10. In addition, the panel housing member 40 is not fixed to the frame member 20, but is supported so as to be openable and closable relative to the opening of the front end portion 25. For this reason, the panel housing member 40 can be opened when replacing the filter 7, and replacement of the filter 7 is not hindered.
[0036] Although some embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the claims. These novel embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and their modifications are included in the scope and spirit of the invention, and are included in the scope of the invention and its equivalents described in the claims.
[0037] For example, the above-described configuration of the air conditioner 1 to which the filter mounting frame 10 is attached is one example, and is not limited to this. Also, in the filter mounting frame 10, the panel housing member 40 is not essential and can be omitted. [Explanation of symbols]
