Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a rotary grass cutting blade that is attached to the rotating tip of a brush cutter to efficiently cut weeds. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, weeds such as vines and tall grass spread easily, and when they spread in fields or agricultural soil, they interfere with agricultural work and other labor, so the weeds must be cut and the land cleared. For this weed cutting work, a brush cutter with a disc-shaped grass cutting blade attached to the tip may be used.
[0003] A brush cutter has a disk-shaped grass cutting blade attached to an output shaft of a drive source such as an engine, and cuts weeds, vines, and the like with the rotating grass cutting blade.
[0004] Such a grass cutting blade is known to have a shape in which fine cutting edges are continuously protruded from the entire peripheral edge of a disk-shaped metallic grass cutting blade body (Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2005-110531 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, the conventional grass cutting blade described in Patent Document 1 cuts weeds with a fine cutting edge provided on the periphery of the grass cutting blade body, so the amount of weeds that can be cut per rotation is small. In other words, the worker has to carry the heavy brush cutter and move little by little to gradually cut the weeds, which is hard work.
[0007] In addition, in areas overgrown with tall weeds and vines, it is difficult to see obstacles such as crushed stones, and damage and deterioration of the blade is inevitable. In addition, if the grass cutting blade is used for a long time while the blade is damaged or deteriorated, the blade will lose its sharpness. When the grass cutting blade loses its sharpness, it becomes difficult to cut a large amount of weeds at the same time during mowing work, and work efficiency decreases.
[0008] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a rotary grass cutting blade which is characterized in that by extending a protruding blade body equipped with a mountain-shaped saw cutting blade from the peripheral edge of a disc-shaped rotary blade body, the area occupied by the blade body that performs cutting relative to the entire rotary grass cutting blade is made larger than that of conventional grass cutting blades, and further, by forming a space between adjacent protruding blade bodies for capturing weeds, it is possible to increase the weed removal effect per rotation, and it is lightweight and can be used by reversing it on both sides. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a rotary grass cutting blade that is attached to the rotating tip of a brush cutter to efficiently cut weeds, and has the following features. (1) A plurality of protruding blade bodies are extended from the peripheral edge of a disk-shaped rotary blade, and a plurality of mountain-shaped saw blades are formed on the left and right edges of the protruding blade bodies. (2) A bifurcated tip cutting blade is formed at the tip of the protruding blade body, and one tip cutting blade is formed longer than the other. (3) The front and back sides of the disc-shaped rotating blade can be flipped over and used. (4) The opposing protruding blade bodies of the multiple protruding blade bodies formed on the peripheral edge of the disc-shaped rotary blade are each inclined downward. Effect of the Invention
[0010] According to the present invention, by extending a plurality of protruding blade bodies on the periphery of the rotary blade body and forming a plurality of mountain-shaped saw blades on the left and right edges of the protruding blade bodies, the area of the blade body relative to the whole can be increased and weeds can be cut more efficiently than in the conventional grass cutting blade. In addition, by taking in the weeds in the space formed between the adjacent protruding blade bodies, the amount of weeds that can be cut per rotation can be increased. In addition, since the front and back sides can be reversed for use, when the sharpness of the front side or back side of the rotary grass cutting blade becomes dull, the sharpness of the rotary grass cutting blade can be maintained for a long time by reversing the front and back sides. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0012] The gist of the present invention is a rotary grass cutting blade that is attached to a brush cutter, A plurality of protruding blade bodies are extended from the peripheral edge of a disk-shaped rotary blade, and a plurality of mountain-shaped saw blades are formed on the left and right edges of the protruding blade bodies.
[0013] Also, a bifurcated tip cutting blade is formed at the tip of the protruding blade body, and one tip cutting blade is formed longer than the other.
[0014] In addition, the front and back surfaces of the disk-shaped rotary blade can be turned over for use.
[0015] In addition, the opposing protruding blade bodies of the plurality of protruding blade bodies formed on the peripheral edge of the disk-shaped rotary blade are each inclined downward.
[0016] An embodiment of the rotary grass-cutting blade M according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the rotary grass-cutting blade M attached to a brush cutter 400. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view for explaining a method of attaching the rotary grass-cutting blade M to the brush cutter 400. Fig. 3 is a plan view of the rotary grass-cutting blade M. Fig. 4 is a bottom view of the rotary grass-cutting blade M. Fig. 5(a) is a front view of the rotary grass-cutting blade M. Fig. 5(b) is a side view of the rotary grass-cutting blade M. Figs. 6 and 7 are plan views of rotary grass-cutting blades M according to other embodiments.
[0017] The rotary grass-cutting blade M according to the present invention is used for cutting and cutting down weeds, vines, and the like, and is attached to an output shaft 410 of a brush cutter 400 as shown in FIG.
[0018] For example, it is attached to output shaft 410 of a drive source such as an engine and cuts weeds into small pieces as it rotates. The main components of the mounting portion of brush cutter 400 are output shaft 410 having a screw groove provided at its rod-shaped tip, output shaft cover 420 that covers output shaft 410, mounting bolt 430 that corresponds to the screw groove of output shaft 410, and bracket 440 that is interposed between output shaft 410 and mounting bolt 430, as shown in Figure 2.
[0019] As described above, the output shaft 410 is rotated by the driving force from the driving source of the brush cutter 400, and the output shaft 410 is cylindrical near its lower end and has a screw groove formed therein into which the mounting bolt 430 can be screwed.
[0020] The bracket 440 is a circular member having an area larger than the diameter of a mounting hole 102 of the rotary grass cutting blade M described below, and has an insertion hole in the center through which the mounting bolt 430 can be inserted.
[0021] The rotary grass-cutting blade M according to the present invention comprises a disk-shaped rotary blade body 100 and a plurality of protruding blade bodies 200 extending to a peripheral edge portion 101 of the rotary blade body 100, as shown in Figs.
[0022] The rotary grass cutting blade M is made of a metal plate-shaped member such as a steel plate, and has the same thickness as a known normal grass cutting blade. Therefore, a certain amount of wear and tear occurs, the cutting function decreases, and the rotary grass cutting blade M can be replaced, and so-called grass cutting blade replacement work is performed as maintenance.
[0023] 2, the rotary blade body 100 is formed in a substantially circular plate shape with a mounting hole 102 provided in the center of the circular plate for mounting to an output shaft 410 of a brush cutter 400. The method of mounting the rotary blade body 100 to the brush cutter 400 is to insert the output shaft 410 from above the mounting hole 102, and screw a mounting bolt 430 into the screw groove of the output shaft 410 while holding the rotary blade body 100 from below with a bracket 440.
[0024] The output shaft 410 of the brush cutter 400 is connected to a drive source of the brush cutter 400, receives rotational power, and functions as a rotation output shaft of the rotary grass cutting blade M. In other words, the rotary blade body 100 attached to the output shaft 410 of the brush cutter 400 rotates counterclockwise (the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 3, hereinafter referred to as the "blade rotation direction").
[0025] In addition, a plurality of lightening holes may be drilled in the rotary blade body 100 outside the mounting hole 102 in addition to the mounting hole 102 in order to reduce weight.
[0026] The configuration of the protruding blade body 200, which is the gist of the present invention, will be described in detail. The basic configuration of the protruding blade body 200 is formed by extending a plurality of protruding blade bodies at regular intervals from the peripheral portion 101 of the rotary blade body 100, as shown in Figures 3 and 4. In this embodiment, four protruding blade bodies 200 are formed from the peripheral portion 101 of the rotary blade body 100, and the overall shape of the rotary grass cutting blade M is approximately cross-shaped.
[0027] A plurality of mountain-shaped saw blades 210 are formed on the left and right edge portions 201, 202 of the protruding blade body 200, and in this embodiment, three saw blades 210 are formed continuously on each of the left and right edge portions 201, 202.
[0028] The saw blade 210 is provided with a blade body 300 (saw blade body 310) for cutting weeds when the rotary grass cutting blade M rotates due to the rotational drive of the brush cutter 400. Specifically, this saw blade body 310 is made up of two types of saw blades: a back saw blade body 311 formed by obliquely cutting the back surface of the saw blade 210 formed on the left edge 201 of the protruding blade body 200 in a plan view, and a front saw blade body 312 formed by obliquely cutting the front surface of the saw blade 210 formed on the right edge of the protruding blade body 200.
[0029] The reason why the saw blade body 310 switches between the surfaces formed by the rear and front sides of the saw cutting blade 210 is to enable the rotary grass cutting blade M to be used with the front and rear sides inverted.
[0030] In other words, when the rotary grass cutting blade M is used facing up, the saw blade 210 formed on the left edge 201 of the protruding blade body 200 is at the tip side in the blade rotation direction when viewed in a plane, and the rear saw blade body 311 formed on the back side functions to cut weeds.
[0031] Conversely, when the rotary grass cutting blade M is used upside down, the saw blade 210 formed on the right edge 202 of the protruding blade body 200 is at the tip side in the blade rotation direction when viewed in a plane, and the front saw blade body 312 formed on the surface functions to cut weeds.
[0032] Furthermore, the blade body 300 (saw blade body 310) of the first saw blade 210, counting from the rotary blade body 100 side, of the three consecutively formed saw blades 210, extends to the center of the peripheral part 101 of the rotary blade body 100 to form a peripheral blade body 320 (blade body 300). Specifically, the peripheral part 101 of the rotary blade body 100 between the multiple extending protruding blade bodies 200 forms a front peripheral blade body 322 in which the surface from the tip to the center is cut obliquely along the blade rotation direction of each peripheral part 101, and a back peripheral blade body 321 in which the back surface from the center to the rear end is cut obliquely along the blade rotation direction.
[0033] The peripheral blade body 320 formed on the peripheral portion 101 of this rotary blade body 100 has the effect of being able to cut weeds that have invaded the concave space formed by the first saw blade 210 and the peripheral portion 101, counting from the rotary blade body 100 side, at the corner with the first saw blade 210.
[0034] A bifurcated tip cutting blade 220 is formed at the tip of the protruding blade body 200. The tip cutting blade 220 is bifurcated as a whole by providing two convex cutting blades 221 extending from the tip of the protruding blade body 200 in a substantially rectangular shape at a fixed interval. In this embodiment, of the two convex cutting blades 221, the right convex cutting blade 221 is formed to be slightly longer than the left convex cutting blade 221 in the plan view shown in Fig. 3. In addition, a concave space 222 is formed in the center of the bifurcated tip cutting blade 220, i.e., between the two convex cutting blades 221.
[0035] The tip blade 220 is equipped with a blade body 300 (tip blade body 330) for cutting weeds when the rotary grass-cutting blade M rotates. Specifically, like the saw blade 210, this tip blade body 330 is formed from two types of blades: a back tip blade body 331 in which the back surface of the left side portion forming the convex cutting blade 221 is cut obliquely in a plan view, and a front tip blade body 332 in which the front surface of the right side portion forming the convex cutting blade 221 is cut obliquely so that the rotary grass-cutting blade M can be used by inverting the front and back surfaces.
[0036] Furthermore, the bottom of the recessed space 222 of the tip cutting blade 220 is also equipped with a blade body 300 (recessed blade body 340) for cutting weeds. Specifically, taking into consideration the reversible use of the rotary grass cutting blade M, the blade body is made of two types of blades: a front recessed blade body 342 formed by cutting obliquely the front surface to the left of the center of the bottom of the recessed space 222 in a plan view, and a rear recessed blade body 341 formed by cutting obliquely the rear surface to the right of the center of the bottom.
[0037] The concave blade 340 formed at the bottom of the concave space 222 enables weeds that have entered the concave space 222 to be cut at the edge of the concave space 222 together with the tip blade 330 of the convex cutting blade 221 .
[0038] As described above, the rotary grass cutting blade M has a protruding blade body 200 formed on the peripheral portion 101 of the disc-shaped rotary blade body 100. Unlike conventional structures in which blade bodies are provided only on the periphery of the grass cutting blade, the rotary grass cutting blade M is configured to have blade bodies 300 (saw blade body 310, peripheral blade body 320, tip blade body 330, recessed blade body 340) over a wide range from the periphery toward the center.
[0039] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M is configured such that the protruding blade bodies 200 extend at regular intervals from the peripheral portion 101 of the disc-shaped rotary blade body 100, thereby forming a weed capture space 230 that is approximately fan-shaped in a plan view for capturing weeds to be cut between each of the protruding blade bodies 200.
[0040] Therefore, when the brush cutter 400 is moved back and forth and left and right to perform weed cutting work, the rotary grass cutting blade M can cut the weeds while taking them into the weed intake space 230, and compared to conventional grass cutting blades, it is possible to cut a large amount of weeds at once, which is effective in improving work efficiency.
[0041] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M is formed so that it can be attached to a conventional brush cutter 400, and therefore has a smaller area than a conventional grass cutting blade by the amount of the weed intake space 230, and is lighter overall. Therefore, a conventional grass cutting blade has a drawback in that the tip is heavy when attached to the tip of the brush cutter 400, making long-term work hard, but the rotary grass cutting blade M is lighter than a conventional grass cutting blade, and has the effect of reducing the burden on the worker during long-term work.
[0042] Furthermore, even with the bifurcated cutting tip blade 220, when cutting work is performed while moving straight ahead, it is possible to cut the weeds while drawing them into the recessed space 222.
[0043] As described above, the rotary grass cutting blade M can cut weeds even when the blade body 300 is formed on a back surface and a front surface, by turning the blade over. Therefore, when the rotary grass cutting blade M is used facing up and its sharpness becomes dull or the blade becomes worn down due to obstacles such as stones or rocks, it can be turned over and used for a longer period of time to cut weeds.
[0044] In the rotary grass cutting blade M according to this embodiment, a pair of opposing protruding blade bodies 200 among the multiple protruding blade bodies 200 are inclined downward. Specifically, the saw cutting blade 210 is bent downward at the boundary between the second and third blade bodies 200 counting from the rotary blade body 100 side.
[0045] That is, as shown in Figs. 3 to 5, the protruding blade body 200 is formed with horizontally protruding blades 200a and downwardly protruding blades 200b that are inclined downward, alternately arranged.
[0046] The protruding blade body 200 has two types of blades, a horizontally protruding blade 200a and a downwardly protruding blade 200b, so that when cutting tall weeds, for example, the weeds taken into the weed intake space 230 are cut at two locations, the stem near the base and the middle of the stem. Therefore, weeds can be cut finely compared to conventional flat grass cutting blades.
[0047] Furthermore, the downwardly protruding blade 200b can be moved to press down the rotary grass-cutting blade M from above so as to cover the weeds during mowing work, thereby further chopping up the weeds below the rotary grass-cutting blade M. At that time, weeds that cannot be pressed down from above and that protrude upward can be cut by being taken into the space portion of the weed taking-in space 230 and the recessed space 222.
[0048] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M can be used by inverting it over. Therefore, the downwardly protruding blade 200b is inclined upward when the rotary grass cutting blade M is inverted over. The upwardly inclined downwardly protruding blade 200b cuts weeds in two places in combination with the horizontally protruding blade 200a, just as in the downwardly inclined state. Therefore, it is possible to cut weeds finer than with a conventional flat grass cutting blade.
[0049] In particular, by forming the downwardly protruding blade 200b, the weed intake space 230 is formed three-dimensionally in the vertical direction. Therefore, weeds can be efficiently taken in in a three-dimensional space, and the efficiency of chopping the weeds can be improved.
[0050] Furthermore, when cutting tall weeds with a conventional grass cutting blade that is entirely horizontal, the cut long weeds may attempt to entangle themselves around the output shaft 410 of the brush cutter 400. However, the upwardly inclined downwardly protruding blade 200b can cut the weeds while blocking their movement toward the output shaft 410 after cutting, and can prevent the weeds from entangling around the output shaft 410.
[0051] The rotary grass cutting blade M with the downwardly protruding blade 200b, unlike conventional flat grass cutting blades, has a three-dimensional shape, which creates a three-dimensional airflow when rotated, regardless of whether it is used on the front or back. This three-dimensional airflow, combined with the up-down and left-right movements of the brush cutter 400, which combines the up-down movement that holds down the weeds from above, can scatter the cut weeds sparsely, which has the effect of making it easier to deal with the weeds after the cutting work.
[0052] The rotary grass cutting blade M according to the embodiment described above has four protruding blade bodies 200, but does not necessarily have to have a shape extending from four rotary blade bodies 100. Therefore, in another embodiment, as shown in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, three or two protruding blade bodies 200 may extend from the peripheral portion 101 of the disk-shaped rotary blade body 100.
[0053] As shown in FIG. 6, a rotary grass cutting blade M according to another embodiment has three protruding blade bodies 200 formed at regular intervals on the peripheral edge portion 101 of a rotary blade body 100.
[0054] Three mountain-shaped saw blades 210 are formed on the left and right edges 201, 202 of the protruding blade body 200.
[0055] The saw blade 210 is equipped with a saw blade body 310 for cutting weeds, and is formed from two types of bodies: a back saw blade body 311 formed by diagonally cutting the back surface of the left edge portion 201 of the protruding blade body 200, which is on the upstream side in the direction of rotation, and a front saw blade body 312 formed by diagonally cutting the surface of the right edge portion 202 of the protruding blade body 200, which is on the downstream side in the direction of rotation.
[0056] Furthermore, of the three consecutive saw blades 210, the saw blade body 310 of the first saw blade 210 counting from the rotary blade body 100 side extends to the center of the peripheral part 101 of the rotary blade body 100 to form a peripheral blade body 320.
[0057] The peripheral blade body 320 formed on the peripheral portion 101 of this rotary blade body 100 has the effect of being able to cut weeds that have invaded the concave space formed by the first saw blade 210 and the peripheral portion 101, counting from the rotary blade body 100 side, at the corner with the first saw blade 210.
[0058] A bifurcated tip cutting blade 220 is formed at the tip of the protruding blade body 200. 6. In addition, a concave space 222 is formed in the center of the bifurcated tip cutting blade 220, i.e., between the two convex cutting blades 221.
[0059] The tip blade 220 is equipped with a tip blade body 330 for cutting weeds when the rotary grass-cutting blade M rotates. Specifically, like the saw blade 210, this tip blade body 330 is formed from two types of blades: a back tip blade body 331 in which the back surface of the left side portion forming the convex cutting blade 221 is cut obliquely in a plan view, and a front tip blade body 332 in which the front surface of the right side portion forming the convex cutting blade 221 is cut obliquely, so that the rotary grass-cutting blade M can be used by inverting the front and back surfaces.
[0060] Furthermore, the bottom of the concave space 222 of the tip cutting blade 220 is also equipped with a concave blade body 340 for cutting weeds. Specifically, taking into consideration the reversible use of the rotary grass cutting blade M, the blade body is made of two types of blades: a front concave blade body 342 formed by cutting obliquely the front surface to the left of the center of the bottom of the concave space 222 in a plan view, and a back concave blade body 341 formed by cutting obliquely the back surface to the right of the center of the bottom.
[0061] The concave blade 340 formed at the bottom of the concave space 222 enables weeds that have entered the concave space 222 to be cut at the edge of the concave space 222 together with the tip blade 330 of the convex cutting blade 221 .
[0062] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M is configured such that the protruding blade bodies 200 extend at regular intervals from the peripheral portion 101 of the disc-shaped rotary blade body 100, thereby forming a weed intake space 230 that is approximately fan-shaped in plan view for taking in the weeds to be cut between each of the protruding blade bodies 200, as shown by the dotted line in Figure 6.
[0063] In the rotary grass cutting blade M according to the other embodiment, the weed intake space 230 can be formed larger than when there are four protruding blade bodies 200. Therefore, there is an effect that more weeds can be taken in and cut at the same time into the weed intake space 230.
[0064] Furthermore, by forming each blade 300 on a front and back side, the rotary grass cutting blade M can be used by reversing the front and back sides.
[0065] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M from which the three protruding blade bodies 200 extend may be formed so that the protruding blade bodies 200 are inclined downward as shown in Fig. 6. Specifically, the saw cutting blades 210 are bent downward at the boundary between the second and third blade bodies 200 counting from the rotary blade body 100 side.
[0066] That is, all of the protruding blade bodies 200 constituting the rotary grass-cutting blade M can be configured as downwardly protruding blades 200b that are inclined downward.
[0067] The bifurcated space of the downwardly protruding blade 200b can further chop up the weeds below the rotary grass cutting blade M by moving the rotary grass cutting blade M from above to cover the weeds during mowing work. At that time, weeds that cannot be held down from above and fly upward can be cut by being taken in by the weed taking-in space 230 and the recessed space 222.
[0068] As another embodiment, as shown in Fig. 7, the rotary grass cutting blade M according to the present invention is made up of a rotary blade body 100 having left and right side edges 103 formed in a continuous mountain shape, and two protruding blade bodies 200 extending from the rotary blade body 100. That is, the rotary grass cutting blade M according to the other embodiment has an overall shape that is substantially linear, as shown in Fig. 7.
[0069] The protruding blade body 200 has three saw blades 210 formed on each of the left and right edge portions 201, 202, and the saw blades 210 are equipped with saw blade bodies 310 for cutting weeds. Specifically, the protruding blade body 200 is formed of two types of saw blades: a back saw blade body 311 formed by obliquely cutting the back surface of the saw blade 210 formed on the left edge portion 201 of the protruding blade body 200 in a plan view, and a front saw blade body 312 formed by obliquely cutting the front surface of the saw blade 210 formed on the right edge portion of the protruding blade body 200.
[0070] The left and right side edge portions 103 of the rotary blade body 100 are formed in a shape of three continuous mountain shapes, and a side edge blade body 350 is formed on each mountain-shaped edge portion.
[0071] The side edge blade 350 formed on the left side edge portion 103a is such that the first side edge blade 350 from the top in a plan view is a back edge blade 351 having a cut surface formed on the back, and the third side edge blade 350 from the top in a plan view is a front edge blade 352 having a cut surface formed on the front.
[0072] When viewed in a plane, the second from the top, i.e., the central side edge blade 350, is a back edge blade 351 having a cut surface formed on the back side on the upper half side from the top of the mountain shape, and a front edge blade 352 having a cut surface formed on the front side on the lower half side from the top of the mountain shape.
[0073] In addition, the right edge portion 103b is symmetrical to the left edge portion 103a, with the first side edge blade 350 from the top in a plan view being the front edge blade 352, and the third side edge blade 350 from the top in a plan view being the back edge blade 351.
[0074] In addition, when viewed in a plane, the second side edge blade 350 from the top is a front edge blade 352 having a cut surface formed on the front half side from the top of the mountain shape, and a back edge blade 351 having a cut surface formed on the back half side from the top of the mountain shape.
[0075] The side edge blade 350 formed on the side edge 103 of this rotary blade body 100 has a continuous mountain-shaped overall blade shape, similar to the mountain-shaped saw blade 210 formed on the protruding blade body 200, and weeds can be cut by the back edge blade 351 and front edge blade 352 formed thereon.
[0076] A bifurcated tip cutting blade 220 is formed at the tip of the protruding blade body 200. The tip cutting blade 220 is bifurcated as a whole by providing two convex cutting blades 221 extending from the tip of the protruding blade body 200 in a substantially triangular shape at a fixed interval. In this embodiment, of the two convex cutting blades 221, the right convex cutting blade 221 is formed to be slightly longer than the left convex cutting blade 221 in a plan view. In addition, a concave space 222 is formed in the center of the bifurcated tip cutting blade 220, i.e., between the two convex cutting blades 221.
[0077] The tip blade 220 is equipped with a tip blade body 330 for cutting weeds when the rotary grass-cutting blade M rotates.
[0078] Furthermore, the bottom of the concave space 222 of the tip cutting blade 220 is also equipped with a concave blade body 340 for cutting weeds.
[0079] The concave blade 340 formed at the bottom of the concave space 222 enables weeds that have entered the concave space 222 to be cut at the edge of the concave space 222 together with the tip blade 330 of the convex cutting blade 221 .
[0080] The rotary grass cutting blade M with two protruding blade bodies 200 extending out is lightweight by minimizing the overall surface area of the grass cutting blade, which has the effect of making long-term work easier. Also, by providing a mountain-shaped saw blade body 310 and a side edge blade body 350 with respect to the overall surface area, the blade body 300 can be provided over the widest possible range, and high cutting ability can also be achieved.
[0081] Furthermore, when the rotary grass cutting blade M with two extended protruding blade bodies 200 is rotated by the brush cutter 400, the tip of the rotary grass cutting blade M, i.e., as shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 7, forms a weed intake space 230 in an imaginary circle shape described by the tip blade body 330. This weed intake space 230 is larger than the rotary grass cutting blade M with four protruding blade bodies 200 and the rotary grass cutting blade M with three protruding blade bodies 200 described above.
[0082] Therefore, a large amount of weeds can be taken into the weed taking-in space 230 and cut reliably by the mountain-shaped saw blade body 310 and side edge blade body 350 located on the upstream side of rotation and the tip blade body 330 located on the upstream side of rotation.
[0083] Furthermore, the rotary grass-cutting blade M having two extending protruding blade bodies 200 can be used by inverting it over by forming each blade body 300 on a front and back side, just like the other rotary grass-cutting blades M described above.
[0084] In addition, the rotary grass cutting blade M from which the two protruding blade bodies 200 extend may be shaped so that the protruding blade bodies 200 are inclined downward as shown in Fig. 7. Specifically, the saw cutting blades 210 are bent downward at the boundary between the second and third blade bodies 200 counting from the rotary blade body 100 side.
[0085] That is, all of the protruding blade bodies 200 constituting the rotary grass-cutting blade M can be configured as downwardly protruding blades 200b that are inclined downward.
[0086] The downward protruding blade 200b can further chop up the weeds below the rotary grass-cutting blade M by moving the rotary grass-cutting blade M from above to cover the weeds during mowing work. At that time, the weed intake space 230 and the recessed space 222 can cut the weeds that cannot be held down from above and that protrude upward by taking in the weeds therein.
[0087] It is also possible to provide six or eight protruding blade bodies 200. In this case, in addition to the downwardly protruding blade 200b described above, an upwardly protruding blade that is inclined upward can be formed at the same time. When both the downwardly protruding blade 200b and the upwardly protruding blade are formed, the unique front and back effects of the case where only the downwardly protruding blade 200b described above is formed can be achieved in a composite manner.
[0088] Specifically, the downwardly protruding blade 200b and the upwardly protruding blade, in combination with the horizontally protruding blade 200a, can cut weeds at three locations, top and bottom, i.e., the upper, middle and lower tiers, which has the effect of cutting tall weeds more finely.
[0089] In addition, by pressing down from above so that the rotary grass-cutting blade M covers the weeds during mowing work, the downward-protruding blade 200b can further chop up the weeds below the rotary grass-cutting blade M through a synergistic effect between the downward-protruding blade 200b and the weed capture space 230.
[0090] The upwardly protruding blade can prevent weeds from wrapping around the output shaft 410 of the brush cutter 400. As with the downwardly protruding blade 200b, a three-dimensional air current is generated during rotation, which disperses cut weeds sparsely and prevents cut weeds from piling up in one place, making post-processing easier.
