The connection plate portion 43 is made of cardboard.

[0037] Next, a method for transporting the outdoor unit 2 will be described. The outdoor unit 2 is transported with the vibration-proof members 20 attached. Therefore, before transportation, the vibration-proof members 20 are attached to the outdoor unit 2 from which the machine room front panel 3cb has been removed (see FIG. 2). The method of attaching the vibration-proof members 20 will be described later. After the vibration-proof members 20 are attached, the machine room front panel 3cb is attached. The work of attaching the vibration-proof members 20 is carried out, for example, in a factory or the like.

[0038] Next, the outdoor unit 2 is transported to the installation site by a transport vehicle or the like. Next, the outdoor unit transported to the installation site is installed. The vibration-proof member 20 is removed from the installed outdoor unit 2. The removed vibration-proof member 20 is discarded on the spot. Note that the removed vibration-proof member 20 may also be transported to a disposal site and discarded at the disposal site.

[0039] Next, a method for attaching the vibration-proof member 20 to the outdoor unit 2 will be described. First, as shown by the arrow in Fig. 2, the support part 40 is attached from the front of the compression device 10. At this time, the support part 40 is moved until the rear surface 43b of the connection plate part 43 abuts against the front surface of the compression device 10. With the rear surface 43b of the connection plate part 43 abutting against the front surface of the compression device 10, the first pillar part 41 and the second pillar part 42 of the support part 40 are erected on the bottom panel 3b.

[0040] Next, as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2, the vibration suppression unit 30 is attached from the front of the compressor 10. Specifically, first, the right side surface facing portion 31a of the first vibration suppression unit 31 is inserted from the front into a gap formed between the right side surface of the compressor 10 and the partition wall 3g (insertion process). At this time, the first vibration suppression unit 31 is moved until the surface 31ba of the right front surface facing portion 31b facing the compressor 10 abuts against the front surface of the compressor 10. With the surface 31ba of the right front surface facing portion 31b facing the compressor 10 abutting against the front surface of the compressor 10, the first vibration suppression unit 31 is placed on the upper surface of the first column portion 41 (placement process). At this time, the right side surface facing portion 31a is sandwiched between the right side surface of the compressor 10 and the partition wall 3g.

[0041] Next, the left side surface opposing portion 32a of the second vibration suppression portion 32 is inserted from the front into a gap formed between the left side surface of the compression device 10 and the water piping 11 (insertion process). At this time, the second vibration suppression portion 32 is moved until the surface 32ba of the left front surface opposing portion 32b facing the compression device 10 abuts against the front surface of the compression device 10. With the surface 32ba of the left front surface opposing portion 32b facing the compression device 10 abutting against the front surface of the compression device 10, the second vibration suppression portion 32 is placed on the upper surface of the second column portion 42 (placement process). At this time, the left side surface opposing portion 32a is sandwiched between the refrigerant piping 9 and the water piping 11 provided adjacent to the left side surface of the compression device 10.

[0042] In this manner, the vibration-proof member 20 is attached to the outdoor unit 2. The support portion 40 and the vibration suppressor 30 may or may not be bonded together. When removing the vibration-proof member 20 from the outdoor unit 2, the above-mentioned steps are performed in the reverse order.

[0043] According to this embodiment, the following advantageous effects are obtained. The piping (particularly the refrigerant piping 9) provided in the outdoor unit 2 according to this embodiment is formed to have elasticity so as to absorb vibrations from the viewpoint of noise reduction, etc. In addition, since vibration-proofing material such as rubber is also provided on the legs of the compression device 10, if the outdoor unit 2 is subjected to large vibrations during transportation, etc., and the compression device 10 vibrates, the refrigerant piping 9 may also vibrate significantly in response to the vibration of the compression device 10 and may be damaged.

[0044] In this embodiment, since the outdoor unit 2 is provided with the vibration-proof member 20 that suppresses vibration of the compression device 10 during transportation, it is possible to suppress vibration of the compression device 10. Furthermore, since vibration of the refrigerant piping 9 caused by vibration of the compression device 10 can also be suppressed, damage to the refrigerant piping 9 can be suppressed.

[0045] Furthermore, since the vibration of the compression device 10 is suppressed by providing the vibration-proof member 20, costs can be reduced compared to the case where the vibration is suppressed by changing the shape of the compression device 10 or the like.

[0046] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a support portion 40 is provided that supports the vibration suppression portion 30 from below. As a result, the position of the vibration suppression portion 30 in the height direction can be uniquely determined simply by supporting the vibration suppression portion 30 on the support portion 40. Therefore, the vibration suppression portion 30 can be easily installed at a predetermined height position. This improves the ease of installation of the vibration-proof member 20.

[0047] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the installation height position of the vibration suppression section 30 is a position corresponding to the height of the support section 40. As a result, by appropriately setting the height of the support section 40, the vibration suppression section 30 can be installed at a desired height position. Therefore, the vibration suppression section 30 can be installed at a height position where the vibration of the compression device 10 can be effectively suppressed. Therefore, the vibration of the compression device 10 can be suitably suppressed.

[0048] In this embodiment, the vibration suppression unit 30 has a right side surface facing portion 31a and a left side surface facing portion 32a extending in the front-rear direction, and a right front surface facing portion 31b and a left front surface facing portion 32b extending in the left-right direction. As a result, when the right side surface facing portion 31a and the left side surface facing portion 32a are inserted from the front-rear direction into a gap formed between the compression device 10 and an adjacent component (partition wall 3g or water piping 11), the right front surface facing portion 31b and the left front surface facing portion 32b face the front surface of the compression device 10. In this way, the vibration suppression unit 30 can be installed simply by inserting the right side surface facing portion 31a and the left side surface facing portion 32a from the front into a gap formed between the compression device 10 and an adjacent component (partition wall 3g or water piping 11). Therefore, the vibration suppression unit 30 can be easily installed, and the workability of the installation work of the vibration suppression unit 20 can be improved.

[0049] Furthermore, after the outdoor unit 2 is installed, the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 may be removed from the outdoor unit 2, and the removed vibration suppression section 30 and support section 40 may be disposed of. In this embodiment, since the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from cardboard, the removed vibration suppression section 30 and support section 40 can be disposed of more easily than in the case where the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from a metal material or the like.

[0050] Furthermore, in this embodiment, since the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from cardboard, the production costs can be reduced compared to when the vibration suppression section 30 and the support section 40 are formed from a metal material or the like.

[0051] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure. For example, in the above embodiment, an example was described in which the first vibration suppression section 31 and the second vibration suppression section 32 are separate bodies, but the first vibration suppression section 31 and the second vibration suppression section 32 may be integrated. Furthermore, in the above embodiment, an example has been described in which the vibration suppressing portion 30 and the support portion 40 are separate bodies, but the vibration suppressing portion 30 and the support portion 40 may be integrated.

[0052] The vibration-isolating member and the outdoor unit, as well as the method for attaching the vibration-isolating member, described in the above-described embodiment can be understood, for example, as follows.

[0053] The vibration-damping member according to the first aspect of the present disclosure is a vibration-damping member (20) attached to an outdoor unit (2) having a compression device (10) that compresses a refrigerant and an adjacent member (3g, 11) arranged adjacent to the compression device, the vibration-damping member having a first surface opposing portion (31a, 32a) extending in a predetermined direction and provided in a gap formed between the compression device and the adjacent member and opposing a first surface of the compression device, and a second surface opposing portion (31b, 32b) extending in a cross direction intersecting the predetermined direction and opposing a second surface of the compression device, the vibration-damping member being provided with a vibration suppression portion (30) that suppresses vibration of the compression device, and a support portion (40) that supports the vibration suppression portion from below.

[0054] In the above-mentioned configuration, a support portion is provided that supports the vibration suppression portion from below. This makes it possible to uniquely determine the heightwise position of the vibration suppression portion simply by supporting the vibration suppression portion on the support portion. This makes it possible to easily install the vibration suppression portion at a predetermined height position. This improves the ease of installation of the vibration-proof member. Furthermore, in the above configuration, the installation height position of the vibration suppression unit is a position corresponding to the height of the support unit. As a result, by appropriately setting the height of the support unit, the vibration suppression unit can be installed at a desired height position. Therefore, the vibration suppression unit can be installed at a height position where it can effectively suppress vibration of the compression device. Therefore, it is possible to suitably suppress vibration of the compression device.

[0055] In addition, in the above configuration, the vibration suppression part has a first surface opposing part extending in a predetermined direction and a second surface opposing part extending in a cross direction. As a result, when the first surface opposing part is inserted from the predetermined direction into a gap formed between the compression device and an adjacent part, the second surface opposing part faces the second surface of the compression device. In this way, the vibration suppression part can be installed simply by inserting the first surface opposing part from the predetermined direction into the gap formed between the compression device and an adjacent part. Therefore, the vibration-proof member can be easily installed, and the workability of the vibration-proof member installation work can be improved.

[0056] A vibration-proof member according to a second aspect of the present disclosure is the vibration-proof member of the above-mentioned first aspect, wherein the vibration suppression portion and the support portion are formed of cardboard.

[0057] After the outdoor unit is installed, the vibration suppression unit and the support unit may be removed from the outdoor unit and the removed vibration suppression unit and support unit may be disposed of. In the above configuration, the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from cardboard, so the removed vibration suppression unit and support unit can be disposed of more easily than in the case where the vibration suppression unit and the support unit are formed from a metal material or the like. In addition, in the above configuration, since the vibration suppression part and the support part are formed from cardboard, the costs required for production can be reduced compared to when the vibration suppression part and the support part are formed from a metal material or the like.
