The application relates to a control method and system of an arterial compression device, and solves the problem that neither unified parameter setting of a mechanical fixed mode nor simple feedback logic of a primary electronic regulation mode establishes deep connection with blood vessel characteristics and individual conditions, leading to mismatching of compression parameters and actual hemostasis requirements, the method comprising the following steps: real-time acquisition of current pressure of a compression unit and cumulative duration during timing, when the cumulative duration reaches a time interval of a preset curve, a decompression operation is performed according to a corresponding decompression value of a personalized decompression curve; if the current pressure deviates from a theoretical value of the curve by more than a preset deviation value, the decompression amplitude is simultaneously corrected according to the deviation value, and the correction amount is positively correlated with a blood vessel elasticity parameter; when the cumulative duration reaches a total compression time set by the curve, the termination pressure set by the curve is regulated and maintained for a preset duration. The application has the following effects: individualized precise compression is realized, and hemostasis safety and patient comfort are improved.
