[0054] 1, 2, and 3, the present application provides an infant carrier 1 that can include a seat 20 and a handle 10. The handle 10 can be connected to either side of the seat 20 and can pivot about the seat 20.
[0055] The seat 20 may include a base 210, a back segment 220, and a leg segment 230. The back segment 220 may include a plastic shell and foam. The back segment 220 is pivotally secured to the base 20 such that an infant or child may lie or sit in the seat 20. The leg segment 230 may include a plastic shell and foam. The leg segment 230 may be secured to the base 20 and cannot pivot relative to the base 20.
[0056] The seat 20 may further include a waist belt loop 240 (first loop). One waist belt loop 240 may be provided on each of the left and right sides of the leg segment 230. The waist belt loop 240 may be provided at one end of the leg segment 230 close to the backrest segment 220 for passing a seat belt (not shown). The seat belt may include a waist belt and a shoulder belt. The waist belt loop 240 can pass the waist belt of the seat belt. The waist belt loop 240 may be formed integrally with the leg segment 230. Specifically, the waist belt loop 240 may form an integral structure with a plastic shell on the leg segment 230.
[0057] 1A, the waist belt loop 240 may include a body 241. The body 241 may be integrally formed with the plastic shell on the leg segment 230, and a perforation hole 246 is formed therein. Each side of the seat 20 may be provided with one perforation hole 246. The perforation hole 246 may pass through along the lateral direction of the child carrier 1, and an opening is formed on one side facing the backrest segment 220 to allow the waist belt of the seat belt to enter the perforation hole 246.
[0058] In the first embodiment, the waist belt loop 240 may include an outer cover 242. The outer cover 242 may be fixed to the body 241 at the perforation hole 246 through a first fastener 244. The first fastener 244 may be provided around the perforation hole 246, but the present application is not limited thereto. A reinforcing rib 2411 may be provided on one side of the body 241 facing the outer cover 242. Optionally, the reinforcing rib 2411 may be provided on one side of the body 241 away from the outer cover 242. The body 241 may be provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs. The plurality of reinforcing ribs are arranged crosswise to fill the force-receiving area of the waist belt loop 240. The plurality of reinforcing ribs may be arranged along a first direction, a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a third direction inclined with respect to both the first direction and the second direction.
[0059] The body 241 can be secured to the base housing 211 of the base 210 via the second fastener 245 such that the leg segment 230 is fixedly connected to the base housing 211, thereby preventing the leg segment 230 from rotating relative to the base housing 211. The second fastener 245 can be located farther from the drilled hole 246 than the first fastener 244. The first fastener 244 and the second fastener 245 can be screws, bolts, rivets, pins, etc., but the present application is not limited thereto.
[0060] 1B, a sheet cloth slit 247 for fixing a sheet cloth (not shown) may be formed between the outer cover 242 and the main body 241. Specifically, the sheet cloth slit 247 may be formed between the outer cover 242 and the outer wall surface of the plastic shell of the main body 241. The sheet cloth slit 247 is formed by the thickness of the fixing post 2423 or the convex rib 2424 (see FIG. 4). The sheet cloth may be a fabric covering the infant carrier 1, which is used for direct contact with the infant or child. The outer cover 242 may be formed in a U-shape according to the shape of the drilled opening 246.
[0061] Referring to FIG. 4, a reinforcing surface 2425 may be formed on the inside of the outer cover 242 (the side facing the drilling hole 246). The reinforcing surface 2425 may be at a certain angle with respect to other parts of the outer cover 242 other than the reinforcing surface 2425. Specifically, the reinforcing surface 2425 may be perpendicular to other parts of the outer cover 242 other than the reinforcing surface 2425. The reinforcing surface 2425 may be formed on the entire inside of the U-shape, and thus the reinforcing surface 2425 may limit the drilling hole 246 and enhance the bearing strength of the drilling hole 246. A fixing post 2423 corresponding to the first fastener 244 may be formed on one side of the outer cover 242 facing the main body 241. The fixing post 2423 may have a certain height, and a through hole for the first fastener 244 to pass through is formed inside. The number of the first fasteners 244 may correspond to the number of the fixing posts 2423. In this embodiment, there may be three first fasteners 244 and three fixing posts 2423. In other embodiments, there may be other numbers of first fasteners 244 and fixing posts 2423, for example, two, four, five, etc. A protruding rib 2424 is formed on one side of the outer cover 242 facing the body 241. The protruding rib 2424 may pass through the fixing posts 2423. When there are multiple fixing posts 2423, the protruding rib 2424 may connect the multiple fixing posts 2423. In this embodiment, the protruding rib 2424 is connected to three fixing posts 2423 in sequence, thereby forming a U-shaped shape. In this way, the protruding rib 2424 can improve the strength of the outer cover 242 over almost the entire length of the outer cover 242. The protruding rib 2424 has a certain height, thereby forming a seat cloth slit 247.
[0062] 5 and 6, the seat 20 may further include a shoulder belt passage 250 (second passage). The shoulder belt passage 250 may be fixed to the backrest segment 220 for passing a shoulder belt (not shown) of a seat belt. Specifically, the shoulder belt passage 250 may be fixed to the center of a rear surface (a surface away from the leg segment 230) of the backrest segment 220. The shoulder belt passage 250 may be connected to the backrest segment 220 by a fixing member such as a rivet, a blind rivet, or a screw.
[0063] 7 to 10, the shoulder belt passage portion 250 may have a bottom plate 255 and two arm portions 253 extending from both opposing ends of the bottom plate 255 (both upper and lower ends shown in FIG. 7). In the present application, the upper end of the bottom plate 255 refers to one end away from the base 210, and the lower end of the bottom plate 255 refers to one end close to the base 210. The two arm portions 253 first extend at an angle to the bottom plate 255, and then extend toward each other along a direction substantially parallel to the bottom plate 255. Each of the two arm portions 253 may have a width that gradually decreases along its extending direction. An opening 251 for passing a seat belt may be formed between the two arm portions 253. A slit 252 may be formed between each of the two arm portions 253 and the bottom plate 255. The bottom plate 255 may have a position limiting tooth 254 formed in the slit 252. As shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 10, the position limiting teeth 254 may be a row of teeth extending continuously between the bottom plate 255 and the two arm portions 253. The width of the position limiting teeth 254 may be narrower than that of the arm portions 253. When the shoulder belt of the seat belt passes through the slit 252, the position limiting teeth 254 serve to clamp the shoulder belt. Both of the two arm portions 253 may have elasticity, so that when the shoulder belt of the seat belt passes through the slit 252, the two arm portions 253 can be elastically deformed. As shown in FIG. 7, the left and right sides of the bottom plate 255 may have fixing holes 256, respectively, which are used by fixing members to fix the shoulder belt threading portion 250 to the backrest segment 220. The bottom plate 255 may have other numbers and positions of fixing holes 256, and the present application does not limit the number and positions of the fixing holes 256. The bottom plate 255 may not have the fixing holes 256, that is, the shoulder belt loops 250 may be fixed to the backrest segment 220 in other ways.
[0064] Referring to Fig. 1, the seat 20 may further include an abutment structure 231. The abutment structure 231 may be foam. The abutment structure 231 may form an integral structure with the foam on the leg segment 230. The abutment structure 231 may be installed at one end of the leg segment 230 away from the backrest segment 220, i.e., the abutment structure 231 may be installed at the front end of the leg segment 230 to face the backrest of the automobile seat. One abutment structure 231 may be installed on each of the left and right sides of the leg segment 230.
[0065] 12, the abutment structure 231 may have a first edge 2311 and a second edge 2312 that are angled with each other. The first edge 2311 is a top edge (upper surface) of the abutment structure 231, and the second edge 2312 is a front edge (front surface) of the abutment structure 231. The first edge 2311 may be substantially perpendicular to the second edge 2312. That is, the included angle between the first edge 2311 and the second edge 2312 may be about 90°, for example, 85°-95°. When the infant carrier 1 is placed on a car seat (not shown), the second edge 2312 abuts against the backrest of the car seat, which can effectively prevent the infant carrier 1 from rolling over toward the trunk of the car (to the front of the infant carrier 1) upon impact.
[0066] The second embodiment of the present application will be described below. The main difference between the second embodiment of the present application and the first embodiment is that the waist belt loop 240 and the abutment structure 231 are different, where the waist belt loop 240 of the second embodiment is reinforced by a reinforcing sheet 243 (the reinforcing sheet 243 and the reinforcing rib 2411 may be collectively referred to as a reinforcing structure 248), and the abutment structure 231 of the second embodiment may be formed as an independent abutment block to be fixed to the front end surface of the leg segment 230 by adhesive or fastener.
[0067] Specifically, referring to FIG. 11 and FIG. 14, the waist belt loop 240 may include a main body 241 and a reinforcing sheet 243. For the main body 241 of the second embodiment, please refer to the first embodiment. However, the main body 241 of the second embodiment may not have the reinforcing rib 2411. The reinforcing sheet 243 may be fixed to the inside of the main body 241 at the perforation hole 246 via the first fastener 244 (in the present application, the inside of the main body 241 refers to one side facing the seating area of the baby or child, and the outside of the main body 241 refers to one side facing away from the seating area of the baby or child). The plastic shell of the main body 241 may be fixed to the base housing 211 of the base 210 via the second fastener 245 so that the plastic shell of the leg segment 230 cannot rotate relative to the base housing 211. The reinforcing sheet 243 may be fixed to the plastic shell of the main body 241 via the second fastener 245. The reinforcing sheet 243 may be a sheet body made of iron. Optionally, the reinforcing sheet 243 may be made of other materials having rigidity, such as metals other than iron and their alloys, plastics, carbon fiber, etc.
[0068] 13, the reinforcing sheet 243 may have a shape close to a triangle as a whole, with a notch 2431 formed on one side thereof corresponding to the drilled hole 246. A plurality of holes 2432 may be formed in the reinforcing sheet 243, which can be penetrated by the first fastener 244 and the second fastener 245 to connect with other members. The shape of the reinforcing sheet 243 can be designed as needed to meet the requirements of the necessary force-receiving area.
[0069] 11 and 12, the seat 20 may further include a separate abutment structure 231 (abutment block). The abutment structure 231 may be formed separately and fixed to the front end surface of the leg segment 230. The abutment structure 231 may be formed in a shape close to a triangle, and the long side of the triangle may be formed in a circular arc shape to match the shape of the front end of the leg segment 230. The abutment structure 231 may be a plastic block, a soft rubber block, or a foam block, but the present application is not limited thereto. The abutment structure 231 may be fixed to one end of the leg segment 230 away from the backrest segment 220, that is, the abutment structure 231 may be installed at the front end of the leg segment 230 to face the backrest of the car seat, which can effectively prevent the child carrier 1 from overturning toward the trunk of the car (forward of the child carrier 1) when impacted.
[0070] The third embodiment of the present application will be described below. The waist belt loop 240 of the third embodiment may include a main body 241, an outer cover 242, and a reinforcing sheet 243. The main body 241 may be formed as an integral structure with the plastic shell on the leg segment 230, and has a perforation hole 246. The outer cover 242 of the third embodiment may be the same as or similar to the outer cover 242 of the first embodiment. The reinforcing sheet 243 of the third embodiment may be the same as or similar to the reinforcing sheet 243 of the second embodiment. The reinforcing sheet 243 can be fixed to the perforation hole 246 by a first fastener 244 to form a force-receiving area. The inner wall surface of the main body 241 of the third embodiment may not have a reinforcing rib 2411.
[0071] The waist belt loop 240 may further include a second fastener 2413. The second fastener 2413 can connect and secure the plastic shell of the main body 241 to the base housing 211, so that the plastic shell of the leg segment 230 is connected and fixed to the base housing 211 and cannot rotate. The second fastener 2413 also secures the reinforcing sheet 243 to the main body 241.
[0072] The waist belt loop 240 of the present application not only satisfactorily realizes the restraint of the seat belt, but also ensures that the strength of the waist belt loop 240 is sufficient, improves the firmness of the restraint of the child carrier 1 by the seat belt, and does not affect the adjustment of the recumbency angle of the seat 20 of the child carrier 1. An abutment structure 231 is provided on the front end surface of the leg segment 230, which improves the stability of the child carrier 1 when it receives an impact.
