Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a kit for obtaining a foaming topical skin preparation containing niacinamide, and a foaming topical skin preparation containing niacinamide.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, topical skin preparations containing extracts having a blood circulation promoting effect on the skin have been used. Since these extracts have insufficient effects when formulated in small amounts and cause excessive irritation to the skin when formulated in large amounts, proposals have been made for topical skin preparations that contain carbon dioxide gas to enhance the blood circulation promoting effect. Many of these generate carbon dioxide gas by the reaction of an acidic substance and a carbon dioxide generating substance. As the dosage form of these topical skin preparations, those in which the acidic substance and the carbon dioxide generating substance are separate agents and are mixed and foamed at the time of use are known from the viewpoint of maintaining the carbon dioxide generating ability of the topical skin preparation for a long period (Patent Documents 1 and 2).
[0003] On the other hand, for the purpose of enjoying the effects on the skin, various active ingredients have been studied for formulation in cosmetics. For example, since niacinamide has effects as whitening, anti-wrinkle, and anti-aging, various topical skin preparations containing niacinamide have been proposed (Patent Document 3). However, the combined use of niacinamide and carbon dioxide gas has not been verified.

Table 1
[0058] [Evaluation of Foaming Topical Skin Preparation] According to the following procedures, the characteristics of the foaming topical skin preparations obtained in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 were evaluated.
[0059] [Evaluation Example 1. Evaluation of Dissolved Carbon Dioxide Concentration in Composition] 20 g of the first agent and 10 g of the second agent were mixed in a 100 mL beaker for 10 seconds. After mixing, the dissolved carbon dioxide concentration in the composition was measured using a CGP-31 carbon dioxide concentration meter (manufactured by Toa DKK Corporation) 10 minutes later. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0060] <Evaluation Example 2. Evaluation of Use Feeling> Using the kits of the present invention obtained in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4, pack agents were prepared, and evaluations of each item were conducted regarding the time of use and after use of the obtained pack agents. First, the inner forearm measurement site (5 × 5 cm) of the subjects (1 male and 1 female in their 20s) was washed with a facial cleanser and allowed to rest quietly for 15 minutes. Next, 2 g of the pack agent in which the first agent: the second agent was mixed at a ratio of 2:1 was applied to the measurement site and allowed to stand for 10 minutes. Next, the solidified (gelled) pack agent was removed and wiped off with a cloth lightly moistened with water. Thereafter, a questionnaire was conducted regarding the ease of application after mixing, the uniformity after application, the whiteness of the skin color after removing the pack agent, and the absence of wrinkles. The evaluation of the questionnaire was carried out on a 5-point scale of 1 (very bad) to 3 (usable as a product) to 5 (very good) for the items in Table 1, and the average score was calculated. In addition, the subjects stayed quietly in the measurement room during the measurement. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0061] [Ease of Application of Pack Agent] 5: Easy to spread, high adhesion to the skin, does not drip even when moving 4: Easy to apply, not likely to drip even when moving slightly 3: Can be applied, does not drip if not moved 2: Slightly difficult to apply, drips 1: Difficult to apply, drips [Uniformity of Pack Agent] 5: Very easy to mix, high uniformity of the pack agent 4: Easy to mix, slightly high uniformity of the pack agent 3: Easy to mix, can apply the pack agent uniformly (more difficult to apply uniformly than 5 and 4) 2: Slightly difficult to mix, the pack agent is non-uniform 1: Difficult to mix, the pack agent is non-uniform [Whiteness of Skin] 5: The skin color became clearly brighter. 4: The skin color became slightly brighter. 3: It seems that the skin color became a little brighter. 2: Little change was felt (it became slightly brighter). 1: No change was felt at all. [Degree of visibility of wrinkles] 5: Fine wrinkles were clearly reduced. 4: Fine wrinkles became less noticeable. 3: It seems that fine wrinkles became less noticeable. 2: Little change was felt (there was a slight change). 1: No change was felt at all.
[0062] <Evaluation Example 3. Evaluation of stratum corneum water content> Using the kits of the present invention obtained in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4, a pack agent was prepared, and the stratum corneum water content after using the obtained pack agent was evaluated. First, the inner forearm measurement site (5×5 cm) of the subjects (one male and one female in their 20s) was washed with a facial cleanser and allowed to rest quietly for 15 minutes. Next, 2 g of the pack agent obtained by mixing the first agent and the second agent at a ratio of 2:1 was applied to the measurement site and allowed to stand for 10 minutes. Next, after removing the solidified (gelled) pack agent, the stratum corneum water content was measured using a skin surface stratum corneum water content measuring device SKICON-200EX (manufactured by IBS Co., Ltd.). The value represents the average value of two persons. Incidentally, the subjects rested quietly in the measurement room during the measurement. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0063] <Evaluation Example 4. Evaluation of color difference> Using the kits of the present invention obtained in Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4, pack agents were prepared, and the color difference before and after using the obtained pack agents was evaluated. First, the inner forearm measurement site (5×5 cm) of the subjects (one male and one female in their 20s) was washed with facial cleanser and allowed to rest quietly for 15 minutes. 2 g of the pack agent obtained by mixing the first agent and the second agent at a ratio of 2:1 was applied to the measurement site and allowed to stand for 10 minutes. Next, after removing the solidified (gelled) pack agent, the L value was measured using a color difference meter CR-400 (manufactured by Konica Minolta). By subtracting the L value measured before application (before use), the change value (ΔL) of the color difference was obtained. The L value indicates the lightness (brightness) of the color. When ΔL is a positive value, it indicates that the skin color after use has become whiter than before use. The value represents the average value of the two subjects. In addition, the subjects rested quietly in the measurement room during the measurement. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0064]
Table 2
[0065] From Table 2, the foaming topical skin preparation obtained using the kit of the present invention had a higher dissolved carbon dioxide gas concentration in the composition than the foaming topical skin preparation of the comparative example. In Comparative Example 1, the carbon dioxide gas concentration in the composition could not be measured. In addition, it was easy to mix, easy to apply evenly during application, and not likely to drip, so it had excellent usability and the effects such as whitening effect and wrinkle improvement effect after use could be felt. Furthermore, the foaming topical skin preparation of the present invention had a higher stratum corneum moisture content after use and a larger change value (ΔL value) of the color difference than the foaming topical skin preparation of the comparative example, so it was excellent in moisturizing effect and whitening effect.
[0066] <Manufacture of Foaming Topical Skin Preparation> Examples 6 to 8 According to the composition shown in Table 3, the kit of the present invention was manufactured.
[0067] Example 6 [First Agent] Purified water was added to a beaker, and then the raw materials described in the first agent were added and stirred to obtain the first agent. [Second Agent] Purified water was added to a beaker, and then the raw materials described in the second agent were added and stirred to obtain the second agent. Examples 7, 8 [First Agent] Purified water was added to a beaker, and then the raw materials described in the first agent were added and stirred to obtain the first agent. [Second Agent] The raw materials described in the second agent were added to a mortar and mixed to obtain the second agent.
