Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a water collecting lid for a roadside gutter laid on the upper opening of a roadside gutter such as a road.
Background Art
[0002] For example, as described in Patent Document 1 below, a lid laid on the upper opening of a roadside gutter such as a road may be provided with hand-holding notches at a pair of edges that abut against adjacent lids. The hand-holding notches are used when lifting and moving the lid.
[0003] This notch also functions as a drain for dropping rainwater on the lid surface into the roadside gutter. However, from the viewpoints of preventing pedestrians from tripping over the lid and preventing a decrease in the strength of the lid itself, the notch cannot be made too large, and the amount of rainwater discharged from the lid surface into the lower roadside gutter through the notch is not always sufficient, and there has been a problem with the drainage performance on the lid surface.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] The present invention has been made for the purpose of providing a water collecting lid for a roadside gutter that can efficiently discharge rainwater on the lid surface into the roadside gutter by using a notch provided at an edge, based on the above circumstances.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] Thus, the water collecting lid for a roadside gutter according to the first aspect of the present invention is defined as follows. That is, A cover for a gutter having notches at a first edge and a second edge which are a pair of edges in contact with an adjacent cover, a groove is formed on the upper surface, and the groove communicates with the notch of the first edge and the notch of the second edge.
[0007] According to the water collecting cover for a gutter of the first aspect defined in this way, since the groove extends from one edge (the first edge) to the other edge (the second edge) which are a pair of edges in contact with an adjacent cover, a wide range of rainwater on the upper surface of the cover can be efficiently collected using this groove. The collected rainwater can then be discharged into the gutter by utilizing the notches provided at the pair of edges respectively.
[0008] Here, from the viewpoint of enhancing the drainage property on the upper surface of the cover, the groove can be formed to gradually deepen from the center of the upper surface toward the notch (second aspect). Also, from the viewpoint of similarly enhancing the drainage property on the upper surface of the cover, a hole penetrating to the lower surface of the cover can be formed in the central portion of the groove (fourth aspect).
[0009] In this invention, from the viewpoint of enhancing the water collecting property on the upper surface of the cover, the upper surface can be inclined downward from the edge placed on the cover receiving portion of the gutter toward the groove (third aspect).
[0010] The fifth aspect of this invention is defined as follows. That is, In the first aspect, a first convex portion is formed at one of both ends of the first edge and a first concave portion is formed at the other end, and a second convex portion is formed at the other of both ends of the second edge and a second concave portion is formed at the one end. The first convex portion and the second convex portion are arranged diagonally in a plan view of the cover, and the first concave portion and the second concave portion are arranged diagonally in a plan view of the cover. According to the fifth aspect defined in this way, when laying a plurality of water collecting covers along the gutter, by fitting the convex and concave portions facing each other between adjacent covers in a concave-convex manner, displacement between adjacent water collecting covers can be suppressed.

MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The water collecting lid 1 of the present embodiment (hereinafter, may be simply referred to as the lid 1) is a concrete lid laid on the upper opening of a side ditch such as a road. As shown in FIG. 1, the lid 1 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and includes a first edge portion 3A and a second edge portion 3B which are a pair of edges spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the lid 1, and a third edge portion 3C and a fourth edge portion 3D which are a pair of edges spaced apart in the width direction of the lid 1 (a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the water collecting lid 1).
[0013] The size of the lid 1 is appropriately determined. As the size of the lid 1 shown in the present embodiment, it can be exemplified that the length is 410 mm, the width is 500 mm in the plan view of FIG. 1, and the thickness is 95 mm in the side view of FIG. 2. Note that the lid 1 can also be strengthened by embedding a reinforcing member such as a reinforcing bar. It is also possible to appropriately chamfer the corners where the surfaces defining the outer shape of the lid 1 intersect.
[0014] As shown in Fig. 2, the gutter 50 on which the lid 1 is laid is composed of concrete gutter blocks 51 with a U-shaped cross-section, which integrally provide side walls 52 and a bottom wall 57. Drainage holes 58 penetrating in the longitudinal direction (the direction perpendicular to the paper surface) are formed inside the gutter blocks 51. On the upper edge side of the inner surface (the inner side wall surface) 53 of the side wall 52, a lid receiving portion 54 projects inward. This lid receiving portion 54 has a flat upper surface 55, and the third edge 3C and the fourth edge 3D of the lid 1 are placed on this upper surface 55. The shape of the gutter 50 is not limited to that shown in Fig. 2. For example, the lid receiving portion may not project inward.
[0015] The first edge 3A and the second edge 3B shown in Fig. 1 are the edges that come into contact with the adjacent lid when a plurality of lids 1 are laid along the upper opening of the gutter 50. As shown in Fig. 1, notches 5 are provided along about 70% to 80% of the total length of the edges, excluding both ends thereof, on the first edge 3A and the second edge 3B. As shown in Figs. 2 and 3, at the center of each of the first edge 3A and the second edge 3B where the notch 5 is formed, a handle portion 6 is formed by further recessing the lower part of the notch 5 toward the center in the longitudinal direction. When transporting the lid 1 or laying the lid 1 in the gutter 50, fingers or the like are hooked on this handle portion 6 to lift the lid 1.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 1, on one of the both ends (the upper left end in the figure) of the first edge 3A where the notch 5 is not formed, a first convex portion 21 is formed on the side surface facing the adjacent lid, and on the other end (the lower left end in the figure), a first concave portion 22 is formed. On the other end (the lower right end in the figure) of the second edge 3B where the notch 5 is not formed, a second convex portion 23 is formed on the side surface facing the adjacent lid, and on the one end (the upper right end in the figure), a second concave portion 24 is formed. The first convex portion 21 and the second convex portion 23 are diagonally arranged in the plan view of the lid 1, and the first concave portion 22 and the second concave portion 24 are diagonally arranged in the plan view of the lid 1.
[0017] These first convex portions 21, first concave portions 22, second convex portions 23, and second concave portions 24 are formed at the same height from the lower surface 15 of the lid 1, as shown in, for example, FIG. 2, and are capable of fitting with the convex or concave portions of adjacent lids in a concave-convex manner. Here, the protruding height dimension T of the first convex portion 21 shown in the partial enlarged view of FIG. 1 (the second convex portion 23 has the same protruding height) is made larger than the depth dimension D of the second concave portion 24 shown in the other partial enlarged view of the same figure (the first concave portion 22 has the same depth). This is to avoid the edges other than the concave-convex fitting portions directly hitting each other during connection.
[0018] Next, the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, inclined surfaces 11, 11 are provided on the upper surface 10 of the lid 1. Specifically, from the edge portions 3C and 3D (see FIG. 2) on the side placed on the lid receiving portion 54 of the side groove 50, the inclined surfaces 11, 11 are inclined by an angle θ with respect to the horizontal virtual line so that rainwater flows toward the center of the upper surface 10. Here, the angle θ can be exemplified as being around 2%.
[0019] A narrow groove 12 for water collection is formed at the center of the upper surface 10 where the rainwater flows. As shown in FIG. 1, the groove 12 extends longitudinally from one edge portion 3A of the lid 1 to the other edge portion 3B. One end of the groove 12 communicates with the notch 5 of the first edge portion 3A, and the other end of the groove 12 communicates with the notch 5 of the second edge portion 3B. In the lid 1 configured as described above, the rainwater collected in the groove 12 is discharged to the lower side groove 50 (specifically, the drain hole 58) using the notches 5 formed in the first edge portion 3A and the second edge portion 3B.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 3, the groove 12 is formed to gradually deepen from the center 10g of the upper surface 10 toward the notches 5, 5 at both edge portions. In this way, the rainwater collected in the groove 12 can be quickly circulated to the notch 5 side.
[0021] FIG. 4(A) is a view showing a state in which a plurality of water collection lids 1 are connected in the longitudinal direction. As shown in the figure, in the connected body where a plurality of lids 1 are connected, a pair of notches 5, 5 are aligned at the boundary with the adjacent lid to form an elongated drain port 8 extending in the width direction, and a groove 12 formed on the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 communicates with this drain port 8. Rainwater flowing into the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 from the surroundings flows toward the groove 12 at the center of the lid by the inclined surface 11 as shown by the arrow in the figure and is collected in the groove 12. The rainwater collected in the groove 12 is discharged to the lower side groove 50 (specifically, the drain hole 58) using the nearby drain port 8 (notch 5) according to the inclination of the bottom surface of the groove 12.
[0022] When connecting a plurality of lids 1 in the longitudinal direction, in this embodiment, the above-mentioned convex portions 21, 23 and concave portions 22, 24 can be fitted with the concave portions and convex portions of the adjacent lid to suppress mutual displacement. Here, in this embodiment, since the protruding height dimension T of the convex portions 21, 23 is set to be larger than the depth dimension D of the concave portions 22, 24, a minute gap δ is formed around the concavo-convex fitting portion in the state where two lids 1, 1 are connected, as shown in FIG. 4(B). For this reason, when rattling occurs between the lids 1, 1, it is possible to avoid problems such as the opposing edges directly hitting each other and the corners chipping off.
[0023] As described above, in the water collecting lid 1 of this embodiment, since the groove 12 extends from the first edge 3A to the second edge 3B which are a pair of edges in contact with the adjacent lid, a wide range of rainwater on the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 can be efficiently collected. The collected rainwater can then be discharged into the side groove 50 using the notches 5, 5 formed in the pair of edges 3A, 3B respectively.
[0024] According to the water collecting lid 1 of this embodiment, the groove 12 is configured to gradually deepen from the center 10g of the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 toward the notch 5, and the drainage performance on the upper surface 10 can be enhanced.
[0025] According to the water collecting lid 1 of the present embodiment, the upper surface 10 is inclined downward from the third edge portion 3C and the fourth edge portion 3D placed on the lid receiving portion 54 of the side groove 50 toward the groove 12, so that the water collecting property on the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 can be enhanced.
[0026] According to the water collecting lid 1 of the present embodiment, a first convex portion 21 is formed at one end of the first edge portion 3A and a first concave portion 22 is formed at the other end, a second convex portion 23 is formed at the other end of the second edge portion 3B and a second concave portion 24 is formed at one end. The first convex portion 21 and the second convex portion 23 are arranged diagonally in a plan view of the lid 1, and the first concave portion 22 and the second concave portion 24 are arranged diagonally in a plan view of the lid 1. When a plurality of lids 1 are laid along the side groove 50, the positional displacement between adjacent lids 1 can be suppressed by fitting the opposing convex portions 21 and concave portions 24 and convex portions 23 and concave portions 22 to each other with unevenness.
[0027] Next, FIG. 5 shows a modified example in which a hole for drainage is provided in the central portion of the groove. In the above embodiment, the rainwater on the upper surface 10 of the lid 1 is discharged into the lower side groove 50 by using the notch 5, but it is also possible to further add a drainage hole different from the notch 5. In the example of FIG. 5, a hole 30 penetrating to the lower surface 15 of the lid 1 is formed in the central portion in the longitudinal direction of the groove 12. This hole 30 is square in a plan view, and the hole diameter in the width direction is substantially the same as the width dimension of the bottom surface of the groove 12. This hole 30 is formed so that the hole diameter (the hole diameter in the longitudinal direction and the hole diameter in the width direction) gradually increases downward (see, for example, FIG. 5(B)), preventing small stones and the like flowing into the hole 30 together with rainwater from clogging in the hole.
[0028] According to the example of FIG. 5, the rainwater collected in the central portion of the groove 12 is directly discharged into the side groove 50 through the hole 30 without flowing in the groove 12 toward the edge portion 3A or 3B, so that the drainage property on the lid upper surface can be further enhanced.
[0029] Although the embodiments and modifications of the present invention have been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to these descriptions at all. For example, in the present invention, it is also possible to use a water collecting lid that does not have a configuration in which the groove 12 gradually deepens toward the notch 5 or a configuration in which the upper surface 10 slopes downward toward the groove 12. The present invention can be implemented in various modified forms without departing from the spirit thereof.
