Modes for Carrying Out the Invention

[0009] An embodiment of the fence of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The fence of this embodiment is an independent partition installed outdoors. It is installed in an upright state at the installation location and partitions the outdoor space. The installation location is, for example, the ground or the top of a wall.

[0010] FIG. 1 is a front view showing the fence 1 installed at the installation location G of this embodiment, and shows a schematic configuration of the fence 1 as viewed from one of the spaces partitioned by the fence 1. In FIG. 1, the portion of the fence 1 embedded in the installation location G is indicated by a dashed line. As shown in the figure, the fence 1 stands independently at the installation location G and extends along the installation location G. Also, the fence 1 extends in the extending direction at the installation location G and is installed between one space and the other space sandwiching the installation location G. At the installation location G of the fence 1, the space is partitioned by the fence 1 into one space and the other space sandwiching the fence 1 and the installation location G.

[0011] The fence 1 includes a plurality of columns 2 erected at the installation location G and a plurality of fence bodies 3 supported by the columns 2. The lower portion of the column 2 is embedded in the installation location G, and above the installation location G, the column 2 is arranged along the vertical direction R. The column 2 is installed in an upright state at the installation location G and protrudes above the installation location G. Also, the fence body 3 is located on one side in the thickness direction of the fence body 3 with respect to the column 2, and the column 2 is located on the other side in the thickness direction of the fence body 3 with respect to the fence body 3. The plurality of columns 2 are installed at intervals in the extending direction of the fence 1, and the plurality of fence bodies 3 are arranged in order in the extending direction of the fence 1.

[0012] When the fence 1 installed at the installation location G is viewed from the front, the vertical direction is the up-down direction R, and the horizontal direction is the left-right direction S. In FIG. 1, the up-down direction R is the vertical direction, and the left-right direction S is the horizontal direction. The thickness direction of the fence body 3 is the thickness direction of the fence body 3 installed at the installation location G. Further, the thickness direction of the fence body 3 is the front-back direction (depth direction) when the fence 1 and the fence body 3 installed at the installation location G are viewed from the front, and in FIG. 1, it is the horizontal direction orthogonal to the left-right direction S. Thus, the directions related to the fence 1 are specified in the state of being installed at the installation location G.

[0013] Here, the extending direction of the fence 1 is the left-right direction S, and the fence 1 extends in the left-right direction S. The plurality of columns 2 are installed at intervals in the left-right direction S. The plurality of fence bodies 3 are adjacent to each other in the left-right direction S, are spanned over the plurality of columns 2, and are supported by the plurality of columns 2. The adjacent fence bodies 3 are opposed to each other at the ends in the left-right direction S and are connected to each other.

[0014] FIG. 2 is a front view showing the fence body 3 of the present embodiment. FIG. 3 is a longitudinal sectional view showing the fence 1 of the present embodiment, showing the fence 1 cut along the line X-X in FIG. 1. In FIG. 3, the description of the lower part of the column 2 is omitted. As shown in the drawing, the fence body 3 is located in front of the column 2 in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3 and is attached to the column 2. The column 2 is located behind the fence body 3 in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3 and supports the upper end portion and the lower end portion of the fence body 3.

[0015] In the fence 1, the front side is the side where the fence body 3 is located with respect to the column 2 in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3, and is one side in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3. Also, the rear side is the side where the column 2 is located with respect to the fence body 3 in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3, and is the other side in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3. The fence body 3 may be positioned on either the space side of one of the spaces partitioned by the fence 1 and the other space with respect to the column 2. Therefore, either the space side of one of the spaces partitioned by the fence 1 and the other space may be the front side.

[0016] Specifically, the fence 1 of the present embodiment is installed between the land (site) with a building and the road, and partitions the space on the site side and the space on the road side. Therefore, the fence body 3 may be positioned on the road side or the site side with respect to the column 2. That is, the front side may be the road side and the rear side may be the site side, or the front side may be the site side and the rear side may be the road side. Here, the fence body 3 is positioned on the road side with respect to the column 2. Therefore, the front side and one side in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3 are the road side, and the rear side and the other side in the thickness direction T of the fence body 3 are the site side. The fence 1 and the fence body 3 are installed between the space on the site side and the space on the road side.

The protruding piece 16 is arranged below the front side corner portion 26 of the upper body edge 20 and abuts against the front side corner portion 26 from below. In that state, the protruding piece 16 is hooked from below by the front side corner portion 26 and received by the front side corner portion 26 which is a receiving portion. The restraint portion 12 is locked to the upper body edge 20 by the protruding piece 16 and is attached to the upper body edge 20. The protruding piece 16 restricts the restraint portion 12 from coming off the upper body edge 20 and maintains the state where the restraint portion 12 is attached to the upper body edge 20.

[0042] FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 are longitudinal sectional views showing an intermediate stage of attaching the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2 by the attachment member 10 of the present embodiment. Similar to FIG. 4, they show a portion including the upper body edge 20, the attachment member 10, and the upper end portion of the support column 2 in the fence 1. As shown in FIGS. 7, 8, and 4 in order, the restraint portion 12 of the attachment member 10 is rotatable about the connecting portion 11 in a state where the connecting portion 11 is locked to the locking hole 2C of the support column 2. When attaching the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2, the restraint portion 12 rotates in order to the respective positions P1, P2, P3 shown in FIGS. 7, 8, and 4. The restraint portion 12 rotates obliquely forward from the upper positions of the support column 2 and the upper body edge 20 about the connecting portion 11 locked to the locking hole 2C (see the arrow F in FIGS. 7 and 8).

[0043] The restraining portion 12 of the attachment member 10 is rotatable about the connecting portion 11 from a position spaced apart from the upper body edge 20 (spacing position P1) (see Fig. 7) to a position in contact with the upper body edge 20 (contact position P2) (see Fig. 8) and then to a position for restraining the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2 (restraining position P3) (see Fig. 4). Further, the restraining portion 12 rotates while elastically deforming (refer to the restraining portion 12 shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 8) from the contact position P2 to the restraining position P3, and restores from the elastic deformation at the restraining position P3. Thereby, the restraining portion 12 is mounted on the support column 2 and the upper body edge 20, and restrains the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2. The support column 2 and the upper body edge 20 are fitted inside the restraining portion 12, and the restraining portion 12 is fixed to the support column 2 and the upper body edge 20.

[0044] At the spacing position P1, the restraining portion 12 of the attachment member 10 is spaced apart upward from the upper body edge 20 without contacting the upper body edge 20. Further, the restraining portion 12 rotates toward the upper body edge 20 from the spacing position P1 and contacts the upper body edge 20 when it rotates to the contact position P2. At the contact position P2, the front side plate portion 15 of the restraining portion 12 contacts the corner where the front side portion 22 and the upper side portion 24 of the upper body edge 20 intersect. In that state, the restraining portion 12 is struck from above to push the restraining portion 12 toward the upper body edge 20 (refer to the arrow K in Fig. 8).

[0045] By striking the upper side plate portion 14 of the restraining portion 12 toward the upper body edge 20, the restraining portion 12 is pushed in a direction approaching the upper body edge 20. Thereby, the restraining portion 12 approaches the upper body edge 20 while elastically deforming so as to expand on the upper body edge 20 side. Further, the restraining portion 12 rotates from the contact position P2 to the restraining position P3 in the elastically deformed state. When the restraining portion 12 rotates to the restraining position P3, the elastic deformation is eliminated and it restores to the original shape before the elastic deformation. In that state, the restraining portion 12 presses the upper body edge 20 from the front side and abuts against the support column 2. The upper body edge 20 is restrained to the support column 2 by the restraining portion 12 of the attachment member 10 and is attached to the support column 2.

[0046] As described above, in the fence 1 of the present embodiment, the upper body edge 20 of the fence body 3 can be easily attached to the support column 2 by the attachment member 10, and the workability of the fence 1 can be improved. Further, the time required for the attachment work of the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2 can be shortened, and the work efficiency can be improved. Since the upper body edge 20 can be attached to the support column 2 without using screws as the fixing tools, it is not necessary to provide the support column 2 and the upper body edge 20 with screw fixing parts (for example, screw holes, screw holes). Therefore, the structure of the support column 2 can be simplified, and the risk of losing the parts for attaching the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2 can also be reduced.

[0047] By elastically deforming the restraining portion 12 of the attachment member 10, the restraining portion 12 can be easily arranged at the restraining position P3 of the upper body edge 20, and the upper body edge 20 can be stably restrained to the support column 2 by the restraining portion 12. Since the upper body edge 20 and the support column 2 are sandwiched between the rear side plate portion 13 and the front side plate portion 15 of the restraining portion 12, the upper body edge 20 can be firmly attached to the support column 2 between the rear side plate portion 13 and the front side plate portion 15. Further, the connecting portion 11 protruding from the rear side plate portion 13 can be hooked on the upper edge portion of the locking hole 2C and stably locked to the locking hole 2C, and when the upper body edge 20 is attached to the support column 2 by the attachment member 10, the connecting portion 11 can be made difficult to come off from the locking hole 2C.

[0048] The attachment member 10 has an upper side plate portion 14 that covers the upper surface portion 2D of the support column 2. Therefore, the attachment member 10 can cover the upper surface portion 2D of the support column 2 while attaching the upper body edge 20 to the support column 2. The upper body edge 20 can be reliably attached to the support column 2 by maintaining the restraining portion 12 in a restrained state by the protruding piece 16 of the restraining portion 12 of the attachment member 10. By locking the connecting portion 11 of the attachment member 10 to the locking hole 2C of the support column 2 which is a slit, the movement of the connecting portion 11 in the locking hole 2C in the vertical direction R is restricted, and the connecting portion 11 can be stably connected to the support column 2.

[0049] Note that the protruding piece 16 may not be provided on the restraining portion 12 of the mounting member 10. Even in this case, the upper body edge 20 can be easily attached to the support column 2 by the mounting member 10. Further, the locking hole 2C of the support column 2 may be formed in a shape other than a slit (for example, a rectangular shape or a circular shape). The connecting portion 11 of the mounting member 10 is formed in a shape that can be locked to the locking hole 2C corresponding to the shape of the locking hole 2C.

[0050] As described above, in this embodiment, the fences described in the following (1) to (7) are disclosed.
