Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the bus bar holder according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited by this embodiment.
[0010] [Embodiment] One embodiment of the bus bar holder according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5.
[0011] Reference numeral 1 in FIGS. 1 to 5 indicates the bus bar holder of the present embodiment.
[0012] The bus bar holder 1 is a member for accommodating and holding a part of the first bus bar B1 covered with an insulating coating and the second bus bar B2 covered with an insulating coating (Figs. 4 and 5), and is attached to the vehicle body of a vehicle such as an automobile. This bus bar holder 1 is formed of an insulating material such as synthetic resin. Incidentally, the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2 are used, for example, for power distribution from the secondary battery of the vehicle, and one of them is used as the positive side and the other is used as the negative side.
[0013] The bus bar holder 1 has a holder 10 that holds the linear portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2 side by side (Figs. 1 to 5). This holder 10 has a first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b that fits and accommodates the linear portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 inserted from the first insertion port 10a, and a second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d that fits and accommodates the linear portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 inserted from the second insertion port 10c.
[0014] Specifically, the holder 10 shown here has a first bottom wall 11, a pair of first side walls 12 vertically provided at intervals from this first bottom wall 11, a second bottom wall 13, and a pair of second side walls 14 vertically provided at intervals from this second bottom wall 13 (Figs. 1 to 3).
[0015] In this holder 10, its first bottom wall 11, a pair of first side walls 12, a second bottom wall 13, and a pair of second side walls 14 are each formed in a rectangular flat plate shape. And in this holder 10, the first bottom wall 11 and the second bottom wall 13 are arranged on the same plane with a space therebetween, and a pair of first side walls 12 and a pair of second side walls 14 are arranged to face each other with a space therebetween with their planes facing each other. The pair of first side walls 12 have two side portions of the first bottom wall 11 as fixed ends and are perpendicularly provided from these two side portions respectively. Also, the pair of second side walls 14 have two side portions of the second bottom wall 13 as fixed ends and are perpendicularly provided from these two side portions respectively. Therefore, the holder 10 has a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped space surrounded by the first bottom wall 11 and the pair of first side walls 12, and this space is used as the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b. In this holder 10, since the first bottom wall 11 and the pair of first side walls 12 form the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b, a rectangular opening on the free end side of the pair of first side walls 12 is used as the first insertion port 10a. Also, the holder 10 has a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped space surrounded by the second bottom wall 13 and the pair of second side walls 14, and this space is used as the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d. In this holder 10, since the second bottom wall 13 and the pair of second side walls 14 form the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d, a rectangular opening on the free end side of the pair of second side walls 14 is used as the second insertion port 10c.
[0016] In the holder 10 shown here, one of the first side walls 12 and one of the second side walls 14 are arranged on the outer wall side, and the free ends of the other first side wall 12 and the other second side wall 14 on the inner wall side are connected by a rectangular flat plate-shaped connecting wall 15 (FIGS. 1 to 3).
[0017] This holder 10 has a fixing portion 16 for fixing itself to the vehicle body (FIGS. 3 and 5). This fixing portion 16 is provided on at least one of the outer wall surfaces of one of the first side walls 12 and one of the second side walls 14. For example, the fixing portion 16 may adopt any form such as one for inserting and fitting a piece provided on the vehicle body side, one for screwing and fixing to the vehicle body side, etc.
[0018] Furthermore, the bus bar holder 1 has a first cover 20 and a second cover 30 (Figs. 1 to 5).
[0019] The first cover 20 is formed in a shape that closes a part of the first insertion port 10a while leaving a part in the closed position (Fig. 2). Also, the second cover 30 is formed in a shape that closes a part of the first insertion port 10a and closes the second insertion port 10c in the closed position (Fig. 3). The first cover 20 shown here closes the part of the rectangular first insertion port 10a excluding both longitudinal ends in the closed position. And the second cover 30 shown here closes both longitudinal ends of the rectangular first insertion port 10a and the entire second insertion port 10c in the closed position.
[0020] The first cover 20 is formed with a fitting groove 21 for fitting the end of the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b in the closed position (Figs. 1 and 4). Also, the second cover 30 is formed with a fitting groove 31A for fitting the end of the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d in the closed position, and a fitting groove 31B for fitting the end of the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b in the closed position (Figs. 1, 2, and 4).
[0021] The first cover 20 shown here is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape (Figs. 1, 2, and 4). Also, the second cover 30 shown here is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape that can close the entire first insertion port 10a and the entire second insertion port 10c in the closed position, and covers the first cover 20 in the closed position in the closed position (Figs. 1 to 5). Therefore, a recess 32 for fitting the first cover 20 in the closed position is formed in this second cover 30 (Figs. 1, 2, and 4). This recess 32 is formed in a rectangle matching the shape of the first cover 20, and fits and covers the first cover 20 in the closed position from the outside.
[0022] The first cover 20 is connected to the holder 10 via a first hinge portion 41 (Figs. 1 and 4). This first hinge portion 41 connects the fixed end of the first cover 20 to one of the first side walls 12, holds the first cover 20 in a cantilever state, and enables the first cover 20 to open and close between an open position and a closed position. The first hinge portion 41 shown here is formed as a so-called living hinge. Here, the first hinge portions 41 are provided at respective longitudinal ends of the first cover 20.
[0023] The second cover 30 is connected to the holder 10 via a second hinge portion 42 (Figs. 1 to 5). This second hinge portion 42 connects the fixed end of the second cover 30 to one of the second side walls 14, holds the second cover 30 in a cantilever state, and enables the second cover 30 to open and close between an open position and a closed position. The second hinge portion 42 shown here is formed as a so-called living hinge. Here, the second hinge portions 42 are provided at respective longitudinal ends of the second cover 30, and furthermore, two more second hinge portions 42 are provided between the second hinge portions 42 at both ends.
[0024] Furthermore, the bus bar holder 1 has a first holding mechanism 50 that holds the first cover 20 in the closed position on the holder 10, and a second holding mechanism 60 that holds the second cover 30 in the closed position on the holder 10 (Figs. 1, 2, and 4).
[0025] The first holding mechanism 50 includes a first cover engaging portion 51 provided on the holder 10 and a first cover engaged portion 52 provided at the free end of the first cover 20 (Figs. 1, 2, and 4). This first holding mechanism 50 holds the first cover 20 on the holder 10 in the closed position by engaging the first cover engaging portion 51 and the first cover engaged portion 52 in the closed position. In the first holding mechanism 50 shown here, the peripheral portion of the through hole 15a provided in the connecting wall 15 is used as the first cover engaging portion 51, and for example, a claw portion of the first cover engaged portion 52 inserted into the through hole 15a in the closed position is hooked on the first cover engaging portion 51 to hold the first cover 20 on the holder 10 in the closed position.
[0026] The second holding mechanism 60 includes a second cover engaging portion 61 provided on the holding body 10 and a second cover engaged portion 62 provided at the free end of the second cover 30 (FIGS. 1, 2, and 4). By engaging the second cover engaging portion 61 and the second cover engaged portion 62 in the closed position, the second holding mechanism 60 holds the second cover 30 on the holding body 10 in the closed position. In the second holding mechanism 60 shown here, the annular end face of the cylindrical portion 14a bulging from the outer wall surface of the other second side wall 14 is used as the second cover engaging portion 61, and the claw portion 62a of the second cover engaged portion 62 inserted into the cylindrical portion 14a is hooked on the second cover engaging portion 61 to hold the second cover 30 on the holding body 10 in the closed position. The second holding mechanism 60 is provided at each longitudinal end of the second cover 30.
[0027] In the bus bar holder 1 shown above, when the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are in the open position, the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 is accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b (FIGS. 1 and 4). And in this bus bar holder 1, the first cover 20 is rotated to the closed position, and the first cover 20 is held in the closed position by the first holding mechanism 50 (FIG. 2). In FIG. 2, for the sake of illustration, the first bus bar B1 is omitted. Also in FIG. 4, for the sake of illustration, the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 is also accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d.
[0028] Next, in this bus bar holder 1, with the second cover 30 held in the open position, the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 is accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d (FIG. 4). And in this bus bar holder 1, the second cover 30 is rotated to the closed position, and the second cover 30 is held in the closed position by the second holding mechanism 60 (FIG. 5).
[0029] In this bus bar holder 1, if the second bus bar B2 is to be removed when the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are in the closed position, the second cover 30 may be opened to the open position. And in this bus bar holder 1, if the first bus bar B1 is to be removed when the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are in the closed position, it is necessary to open both the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 to the open position.
[0030] Thus, the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment can individually remove a bus bar to be removed from a plurality of bus bars (the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2). Therefore, it can be said that this bus bar holder 1 is useful for preventing misremoval of the bus bar to be removed. Further, since this bus bar holder 1 can remove the plurality of bus bars (the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2) one by one, energization due to contact between the bus bars can be suppressed.
[0031] Furthermore, in this bus bar holder 1, since the first cover 20 in the closed position is covered with the second cover 30 in the closed position, the first cover 20 cannot be opened unless the second cover 30 is opened. Therefore, in this bus bar holder 1, if the first bus bar B1 is to be removed when the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are in the closed position, it is necessary to open the second cover 30 to the open position and then further open the first cover 20 to the open position. Accordingly, the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment can prevent misremoval of the bus bar to be removed in a more suitable state and can suppress energization due to contact between the bus bars in a more suitable state.
[0032] Also, the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment is configured to be assembled to the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively. Therefore, the size of this bus bar holder 1 can be reduced. And this bus bar holder 1 can freely set the assembly position within the ranges of the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively. Accordingly, the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment can easily follow the wiring paths of the bus bars in various vehicles and can have versatility.
[0033] Also, the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment is configured to be assembled to the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively. Compared with the case of accommodating the entire first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, it is possible to reduce the number of the first holding mechanism 50 and the second holding mechanism 60 and improve the workability of assembling the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2.
[0034] Further, since the bus bar holder 1 of the present embodiment has an integral structure in which the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are connected to the holder 10 via the first hinge portion 41 and the second hinge portion 42, respectively, it is possible to reduce the number of parts and improve the workability of assembling the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2.
[0035] [Modification Example] Reference numeral 2 in FIGS. 6 to 10 indicates the bus bar holder of this modification example. The bus bar holder 2 of this modification example corresponds to the bus bar holder 1 of the above-described embodiment in which the first cover 20 and the second cover 30 are replaced with the following first cover 120 and second cover 130 (FIGS. 6 to 10). Therefore, in the bus bar holder 2 of this modification example, the same reference numerals as those in the embodiment are given to the same parts as those in the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, and the description thereof is omitted.
[0036] The first cover 120 of this modification example has a cover main body 121 formed in a shape equivalent to that of the first cover 20 of the above-described embodiment, and the cover main body 121 in the closed position closes the first insertion port 10a of the holder 10 leaving a part thereof (both ends in the longitudinal direction of the first insertion port 10a) (FIGS. 6 to 10).
[0037] The cover main body 121 is connected to one first side wall 12 of the holder 10 via the first hinge portion 41 at its fixed end in the same manner as the first cover 20 of the embodiment (FIGS. 6 and 9). Further, the cover main body 121 has a first cover engaged portion 52 at its free end in the same manner as the first cover 20 of the embodiment, and is held by the holder 10 by engaging the first cover engaged portion 52 with the first cover engaging portion 51 of the holder 10 in the closed position (FIGS. 6 to 10). Further, the cover main body 121 is formed with a fitting groove 122 for fitting an end portion of the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b in the closed position in the same manner as the first cover 20 of the embodiment (FIGS. 6 and 9).
[0038] Similar to the second cover 30 of the above-described embodiment, the second cover 130 of this modification is formed in a shape that closes a part of the tip (both longitudinal ends in the first insertion port 10a) in the first insertion port 10a of the holder 10 and closes the second insertion port 10c of the holder 10 in the closed position (FIGS. 6 to 10).
[0039] However, unlike the second cover 30 of the embodiment, the second cover 130 of this modification has a notch 130a for fitting the first cover 120 in the closed position in the closed position (FIGS. 6 to 10). This second cover 130 is formed in a shape having a main body portion 131 that closes the second insertion port 10c and a piece portion 132 that protrudes from the main body portion 131 and closes a part of the tip (both longitudinal ends in the first insertion port 10a) in the first insertion port 10a (FIGS. 6 to 10). In this second cover 130, the notch 130a is provided adjacent to the main body portion 131 and the piece portion 132. The main body portion 131 shown here is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape. Also, the piece portion 132 shown here is formed in a rectangular flat plate shape and protrudes from both longitudinal ends of the main body portion 131, respectively. The notch 130a is disposed between the pair of piece portions 132.
[0040] The second cover 130 of this modified example is connected to one second side wall 14 of the holder 10 via a second hinge portion 42 at its fixed end (the fixed end in the main body portion 131) in the same manner as the second cover 30 of the embodiment (FIGS. 6 to 10). Also, this second cover 130 has a second cover engaged portion 62 at its free end (each free end in the pair of piece portions 132) in the same manner as the second cover 30 of the embodiment, and by engaging this second cover engaged portion 62 with the second cover engaging portion 61 of the holder 10 in the closed position, it is held by the holder 10 (FIGS. 6 to 10). Further, this second cover 130 has, in the same manner as the second cover 30 of the embodiment, a fitting groove 133A for fitting the end portion of the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d in the closed position, and a fitting groove 133B for fitting the end portion of the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b in the closed position (FIGS. 6, 7, and 9). The fitting groove 133A is formed in the main body portion 131. And the fitting groove 133B is formed in each piece portion 132.
[0041] In the bus bar holder 2 of this modified example, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, when the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 are in the open position, the straight portion B1a of the first bus bar B1 is accommodated in the first fitting and accommodating chamber 10b (FIGS. 6 and 9). And in this bus bar holder 2, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, the first cover 120 is rotated to the closed position, and this first cover 120 is held in the closed position by the first holding mechanism 50 (FIG. 7). Incidentally, in FIG. 7, for the sake of illustration, the first bus bar B1 is omitted. Also, in FIG. 9, for the sake of illustration, the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 is also accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d.
[0042] Next, in this bus bar holder 2, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, while keeping the second cover 130 in the open position, the straight portion B2a of the second bus bar B2 is accommodated in the second fitting and accommodating chamber 10d (FIG. 9). And in this bus bar holder 2, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, the second cover 130 is rotated to the closed position, and this second cover 130 is held in the closed position by the second holding mechanism 60 (FIG. 10).
[0043] In this bus bar holder 2, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, if it is necessary to remove the second bus bar B2 when the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 are in the closed position, the second cover 130 may be opened to the open position. And, in this bus bar holder 2, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, if it is necessary to remove the first bus bar B1 when the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 are in the closed position, both the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 need to be opened to the open position.
[0044] Thus, the bus bar holder 2 of this modification can individually remove the bus bar to be removed from among a plurality of bus bars (the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2), similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment. Therefore, it can be said that this bus bar holder 2 is useful for preventing misremoval of the bus bar to be removed. Further, since this bus bar holder 2 can remove the plurality of bus bars (the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2) one by one, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, energization due to contact between the bus bars can be suppressed.
[0045] Here, in this bus bar holder 2, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, it may be configured such that the first cover 120 cannot be opened unless the second cover 130 is opened. For example, in this bus bar holder 2, locking portions 123 are projected from the cover main body 121 of the first cover 120 in the closed position toward a part at the tip in the first insertion port 10a (both longitudinal ends in the first insertion port 10a) (FIGS. 6, 7, and 9), and the locking portions 123 in this closed position are covered by a part 132 of the second cover 130 in the closed position. Thereby, in this bus bar holder 2, when attempting to open the first cover 120 in the closed position, since the locking portions 123 thereof are locked by the part 132 of the second cover 130, the first cover 120 in the closed position cannot be opened unless the second cover 130 in the closed position is opened. Therefore, in this bus bar holder 2, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, if the first bus bar B1 is to be removed when the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 are in the closed position, it is necessary to open the second cover 130 to the open position and then further open the first cover 120 to the open position. Accordingly, the bus bar holder 2 of this modification can, similar to the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, more suitably prevent misremoval of the bus bar to be removed and can more suitably suppress energization due to contact between bus bars. Here, two locking portions 123 are projected from one longitudinal end of the cover main body 121 in the closed position toward one longitudinal end of the first insertion port 10a, and two locking portions 123 are projected from the other longitudinal end of the cover main body 121 in the closed position toward the other longitudinal end of the first insertion port 10a.
[0046] Further, the bus bar holder 2 of this modified example adopts a form of being assembled to the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment. Therefore, like the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, this bus bar holder 2 can be downsized in size, and the assembly position can be freely set within the ranges of the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively. Accordingly, like the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment, the bus bar holder 2 of this modified example can easily follow the wiring routes of the bus bars in various vehicles and can have versatility.
[0047] Further, the bus bar holder 2 of this modified example adopts a form of being assembled to the straight portions B1a and B2a of the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, respectively, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment. Compared with the case of accommodating the entire first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2, it is possible to reduce the number of the first holding mechanism 50 and the second holding mechanism 60 and improve the workability of assembling the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2.
[0048] Further, the bus bar holder 2 of this modified example adopts an integral structure in which the first cover 120 and the second cover 130 are connected to the holder 1 via the first hinge portion 41 and the second hinge portion 42, respectively, in the same manner as the bus bar holder 1 of the embodiment. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of parts and improve the workability of assembling the first bus bar B1 and the second bus bar B2.
