Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] However, in such a conventional clamp device, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, etc., a pair of attachment pieces for attaching a nut member are provided at a predetermined interval on the tip side of the main body member, and the attachment portion of the nut member is inserted between this pair of attachment pieces and pivotally supported by a single rivet so that the nut member is rotatable. Therefore, at the position of the through hole through which this rivet passes, the tip of this bolt hits the rivet and it is no longer possible to pass the bolt through. Therefore, in order to grip target members such as pipes of various diameters, there was the complication of having to prepare various lengths of bolts according to them.

[0006] Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a clamping device that can grip target members such as pipes of various diameters without preparing bolts of various lengths.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0007] In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is a clamping device for gripping and fixing a rod-shaped or tubular target member, comprising a first member and a second member for sandwiching the target member, wherein the first member and the second member are rotatably provided via a rotation axis, the first member and the second member are rotated to sandwich the target member, and the target member is fixed by tightening a fastening member spanned between the first member and the second member. The fastening member includes a nut member rotatably supported on the tip end side of the first member, and a bolt member that is detachable from and screwed into the nut member on the tip end side of the second member. The nut member includes a cylindrical body portion and an attachment portion continuous with the cylindrical body portion, and a continuous through hole is provided in the cylindrical body portion and the attachment portion. A female screw portion into which the bolt member can be screwed is formed in the portion of the through hole of the cylindrical body. A pair of attachment pieces for attaching the nut member to the tip end side of the first member are provided at a predetermined interval, the attachment portion of the nut member is inserted between the pair of attachment pieces, and the attachment portion and the pair of attachment pieces are pivotally supported by a pair of rivets, and the interval between the pair of rivets is set to an interval into which the bolt member can be inserted.

[0008] The invention according to claim 2 is the invention according to claim 1, wherein a concave portion is formed on the inner surface of the attachment portion of the nut member, and the head of the rivet is disposed in the concave portion.

[0009] The invention according to claim 3 is the invention according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the head of the rivet has a predetermined length in the axial direction of the bolt member, and the cross-sectional shape in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the bolt member is curved so as to be concave over the entire length of the head.

Advantages of the Invention

[0010] According to the invention described in claim 1, the nut member includes a cylindrical body portion and a mounting portion continuous with the cylindrical body portion, and continuous through holes are provided in the cylindrical body portion and the mounting portion. A female thread portion into which a bolt member can be screwed is formed in the portion of the through hole of the cylinder, and a pair of mounting pieces for attaching the nut member to the tip end side of the first member are provided at a predetermined interval. The mounting portion of the nut member is inserted between the pair of mounting pieces, and the mounting portion and the pair of mounting pieces are pivotally supported by a pair of rivets. The interval between the pair of rivets is set to an interval into which the bolt member can be inserted. Therefore, even for a target member such as a thin pipe with a small diameter, the tip end portion of the bolt member can be inserted between the rivets and gripped and fixed. Thus, for example, if only one long bolt member is prepared, various target members such as pipes with different diameters can be gripped and fixed, including the case where the tip end portion of the bolt member is inserted between the rivets.

[0011] According to the invention described in claim 2, a concave portion is formed on the inner surface of the mounting portion of the nut member, and the head of the rivet is disposed in the concave portion. Therefore, by disposing the heads of the rivets in these concave portions, the interval between the heads of the rivets can be widened, making it easier to pass the tip end portion of the bolt member. Thereby, an interval into which the bolt member can be inserted can be easily secured within the mounting portion of the nut member.

[0012] According to the invention described in claim 3, the head of the rivet has a predetermined length in the axial direction of the bolt member, and the cross-sectional shape in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the bolt member is curved so as to be concave over the entire length of the head. Therefore, due to the concave shape of the head of the rivet, the interval between the heads of the rivets is widened, and the tip of the bolt member can be more easily passed through. As a result, in the mounting portion of the nut member, it is possible to more easily secure an interval into which the bolt member can be inserted, and the thickness of the portion of the mounting portion pivotally supported by the rivet can be ensured to have sufficient strength without increasing the width of the mounting portion of the nut member.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0014] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the clamping device of the present invention will be described.

[0015] (One Embodiment of the Clamping Device) FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a state in which a target member is sandwiched in an embodiment of the clamping device according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional perspective view showing a main part of the clamping device of FIG. 1.

[0016] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the clamping device 1 of the present embodiment grips and fixes a pipe member 2 made of metal as a tubular target member such as a single-pipe pipe. In this case, the target member may be a solid metal bar or the like. The clamping device 1 includes a main body member 3 as a first member formed in a curved shape (or bent shape) so as to sandwich the pipe member 2, and a lid member 4 as a second member. The clamping device 1 is used to fix a functional component 5 attached to the main body member 3 to the pipe member 2. Examples of the functional component 5 include a hook for attaching a wire and a bracket for attaching a component used in a temporary scaffold.

[0017] The body member 3 and the lid member 4 are each formed into a predetermined shape by subjecting a metal plate material to pressing, and their base ends 3a and 4a are rotatably connected to each other by a pin member 6 serving as a rotation axis.

[0018] The pin member 6 is rotatably inserted into a through hole 7 formed in the body member 3 and a through hole 8 formed in the lid member 4 (see also FIGS. 12 and 15). The body member 3 and the lid member 4 are configured to sandwich the pipe member 2 in a state where their side wall portions 9 and 10 are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pipe member 2.

[0019] And it is configured to fix the pipe member 2 by tightening a fastening member 13 spanned between the body member 3 and the lid member 4.

[0020] The fastening member 13 includes a nut member 14 pivotally supported on the tip end side of the body member 3, and a bolt member 15 whose head portion 15b and shaft portion 15a are detachably engaged with a U-shaped notch portion 16 formed on the tip end 4b side of the lid member 4 and which is screwed into the nut member 14.

[0021] The nut member 14 includes a cylindrical body portion 140 and a mounting portion 141 continuous with the cylindrical body portion 140. A continuous through hole 17 is provided in the cylindrical body portion 140 and the mounting portion 141. A female screw portion 18 into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be screwed is formed in the portion of the through hole 17 of the cylindrical body 140.

[0022] Also, a pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b for mounting the nut member 14 are provided at a predetermined interval on the tip end side of the body member 3 by a pair of side wall portions 9, 9. The mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14 is inserted between the pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b, and the mounting portion 141 and the pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b are pivotally supported by a pair of rivets 12, 12. The interval between the pair of rivets 12, 12 is set to an interval into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be inserted.

[0023] More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, through holes 11 are respectively formed at the same positions in these pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b. And between these pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b, the mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14 is inserted such that the through hole 14a provided therein and the through hole 11 of the mounting piece 3b communicate with each other. A rivet 12 is inserted through these through holes 14a, 11 such that its head portion 12a faces inward, and the inserted end portion is caulked to form a caulked portion 12b. That is, the nut member 14 is pivotally supported by a pair of rivets 12, 12 on the mounting pieces 3b, 3b on the tip end side of the main body member 3.

[0024] And as shown in FIGS. 3 to 7, the nut member 14 has an overall substantially T-shaped configuration composed of a cylindrical body 140 and a mounting portion 141.

[0025] As described above, continuous through holes 17 are provided in the cylindrical body 140 and the mounting portion 141. In the portion of the through hole 17 in the cylindrical body 140, an internal thread portion 18 into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be screwed is formed.

[0026] Also, the nut member 14 has bulging portions 141a, 141a bulging toward the mounting pieces 3b, 3b on the tip end side of the main body member 3 in the mounting portions 141, 141. In the through holes 17 which are the inner surfaces of these bulging portions 141a, 141a, recesses 17a are respectively formed, and the head portions 12a of the rivets 12 are respectively disposed in these recesses 17a so as not to rotate about the rivets 12.

[0027] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the head 12a of the rivet 12 has a predetermined length in the axial direction of the bolt member 15, and the cross-sectional shape in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the bolt member 15 is curved so as to be recessed in a substantially arc shape over the entire length of this head portion 12a, and the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be inserted between the rivets 12, 12.

[0028] Note that the lower part 17b of the through hole 17 of the nut member 14 is open, and when forming the caulked parts 12b, 12b of the rivets 12, 12, a rod-shaped jig for pressing the heads 12a, 12a can be inserted.

[0029] Next, the operation and effects of the clamp device 1 of the present embodiment will be described.

[0030] According to the clamp device 1 configured as described above, the nut member 14 includes a cylindrical body portion 140 and a mounting portion 141 continuous with the cylindrical body portion 140. A continuous through hole 17 is provided in the cylindrical body portion 140 and the mounting portion 141. A female screw portion 18 into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be screwed is formed in the portion of the through hole 17 of the cylindrical body 140. A pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b for mounting the nut member 14 are provided at a predetermined interval on the tip end side of the main body member 3 as the first member. The mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14 is inserted between the pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b. The mounting portions 141, 141 and the pair of mounting pieces 3b, 3b are pivotally supported by a pair of rivets 12, 12. The interval between the pair of rivets 12, 12 is set to an interval into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be inserted. Therefore, it is possible to grip and fix not only a thick pipe member 2 or the like as a large-diameter target member illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 12, but also a thin pipe member 2 or the like as a small-diameter target member illustrated in FIGS. 13 to 15. The tip end portion of the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 is inserted between the rivets 12, 12 and can be gripped and fixed. Thus, for example, if only one long bolt member 15 is prepared, it is possible to grip and fix pipe members 2 or the like as target members of various diameters, including the case where the tip end portion of the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 is inserted between the rivets 12, 12.

[0031] Further, according to the clamp device 1 configured as described above, a concave portion 14b is formed on the inner surface of the mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14, and the head portion 12a of the rivet 12 is disposed in the concave portion 14b. Therefore, by disposing the head portions 12a of the rivets 12 in the concave portions 14b, 14b, the interval between the head portions 12a, 12a of the rivets 12, 12 is widened, and the tip of the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be easily passed through. Thereby, in the mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14, an interval into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be inserted can be easily secured.

[0032] Furthermore, according to the clamp device 1 configured as described above, the head portion 12a of the rivet 12 has a predetermined length in the axial direction of the bolt member 15, and the cross-sectional shape in the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the bolt member 15 is curved so as to be recessed over the entire length of the head portion 12a. Therefore, due to the recessed shape of the head portion 12a of the rivet 12, the interval between the head portions 12a, 12a of the rivets 12, 12 is further widened, and the tip of the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be more easily passed through. Thereby, in the mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14, an interval into which the shaft portion 15a of the bolt member 15 can be inserted can be more easily secured, and the thickness of the portion of the mounting portion 141 pivotally supported by the rivet 12 can be ensured to have sufficient strength without increasing the width of the mounting portion 141 of the nut member 14.

[0033] (Application Example of an Embodiment of the Clamp Device) Next, each application example of an embodiment of the clamp device according to the present invention will be described.

[0034] The clamp device 1 according to the above embodiment can be applied to the configuration as shown in FIGS. 16 to 19. In each application example shown in FIGS. 16 to 19, the same parts as those in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 15 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations are omitted.

[0035] FIG. 16 is a perspective view showing an orthogonal clamp to which the clamp device of one embodiment is applied. FIG. 18 is a perspective view showing a wall joint to which the clamp device of one embodiment is applied. FIG. 19 is a partial cross-sectional front view showing a state in which the wall joint of FIG. 18 is attached to a wall.

[0036] The orthogonal clamp 30 shown in FIG. 16 and the universal clamp 40 shown in FIG. 17 are each configured by using two clamp devices 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 15.

[0037] The orthogonal clamp 30 shown in FIG. 16 is formed by arranging two clamp devices 1 so that the axes of the pipe members 2 are orthogonal to each other, overlapping and joining the main body members 3. The joining of the main body members 3 can be performed, for example, by rivets (not shown).

[0038] The universal clamp 40 shown in FIG. 17 is configured by connecting the main body members 3 of the two clamp devices 1 to each other by a connecting member 41. The connecting member 41 connects the main body members 3 so as to be rotatable relative to each other. Therefore, the angle formed by the pipe member 2 held and fixed by one clamp device 1 and the pipe member 2 held and fixed by the other clamp device 1 can be set to an arbitrary angle.

[0039] The wall joint 50 shown in FIGS. 18 and 19 is for fixing the pipe member 2 to the wall 60 of a building. The wall joint 50 includes a column member 53 having a male screw member 52 that is screwed into an anchor 51 embedded in the wall 60 of the building, a slide member 54 that is movably fitted to the column member 53, and a clamp device 1 or the like that is welded, bolted, or riveted to the tip of the slide member 54.

[0040] The orthogonal clamp 30, the universal clamp 40, and the wall joint 50 configured by using the clamp device 1 according to this embodiment are such that, compared with conventional clamp devices, the bolt member 15 does not come off, and the pipe member 2 is firmly tightened to securely hold and fix the pipe member 2.

[0041] Although each embodiment of the present invention has been described, these embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These embodiments can be implemented in various other forms, and various omissions, replacements, changes, and combinations can be made without departing from the gist of the invention.
