Embodiments for Carrying Out the Invention

[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments of the unlocking device and the padlock kit of the present disclosure will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 12. The following embodiments show one aspect of the present disclosure, do not limit this disclosure, and can be arbitrarily changed within the scope of the technical idea of this disclosure. Also, in the following drawings, in order to make each configuration easier to understand, the actual structure and the scale etc. in each structure are made different.

[0012] As shown in FIG. 1, a padlock 100 constituting a padlock kit 120 is detachably attached to a door 1. The padlock kit 120 includes a padlock 100 and an unlocking device 110.

[0013] Door 1 is a hinged door. Door 1 is provided in the opening 6 of the wall portion 4 and is supported by a frame portion 5 surrounding Door 1 so as to be able to open and close the opening 6.

[0014] [Padlock 100] The padlock 100 is inserted and attached to a recess provided on the side surface 1a of Door 1. The padlock 100 is replaceable with respect to Door 1. A lever handle 2 is attached to Door 1. When the lever handle 2 is operated on Door 1, the latch 11 can project and retract with respect to the side surface 1a of Door 1. When Door 1 is in a closed state, the latch 11 projects from the side surface 1a of Door 1 and is inserted into a striker 3 provided on the frame portion 5. The striker 3 incorporates a first magnet 3A. The latch 11 incorporates a second magnet 3B.

[0015] When Door 1 is closed, the latch 11 projects from the side surface 1a of Door 1 due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B. The latch 11 is a magnetic latch that projects from the side surface 1a of Door 1 due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B. When the latch 11 is inserted into the striker 3 of the frame portion 5, the closed state of Door 1 is maintained.

[0016] As shown in FIG. 2, the padlock 100 has a case 30, a latch bolt 10, a latch hub 20, a drive unit 52, an opening and closing unit 60, a control board 70, and a power supply unit 80. The case 30 houses the latch bolt 10, the latch hub 20, the drive unit 52, the opening and closing unit 60, the control board 70, and the power supply unit 80 inside.

[0017] The latch bolt 10 is provided with respect to the case 30 so as to be able to move forward and backward in the left - right direction in FIG. 2. In the following description, the forward and backward movement direction of the latch bolt 10 is referred to as the left - right direction. The backward side in the forward and backward movement direction is referred to as the right side, and the forward side is referred to as the left side. The up - down direction in FIG. 2 is referred to as the up - down direction. The direction orthogonal to the left - right direction and the up - down direction in FIG. 2 is referred to as the thickness direction.

[0018] The latch bolt 10 is shaft-shaped and extends in the left-right direction. The latch bolt 10 has a latch 11, a locking portion 12, a spring 14, and a hole portion 15. The latch 11 is provided at the left tip of the latch bolt 10. When the latch bolt 10 moves to the left, the latch 11 protrudes from the front plate 31 through the opening 31a of the front plate 31. The latch 11 has a second magnet 3B inside. The second magnet 3B is columnar and extends in the left-right direction. The second magnet 3B is arranged to the left of the latch 11.

[0019] The locking portion 12 is arranged on the right side of the latch 11. The dimension of the locking portion 12 is larger than the dimension of the opening 31a in the front plate 31. When the latch bolt 10 moves to the left due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B, the locking portion 12 locks to the front plate 31 from the right side. By the locking portion 12 locking to the front plate 31 from the right side, the position of the latch 11 protruding from the front plate 31 is defined.

[0020] The hole portion 15 is formed in a rectangular shape extending to the right from the locking portion 12. The hole portion 15 penetrates the latch bolt 10 in the thickness direction. A wall portion 16 protruding from the case 30 toward the indoor side is inserted into the hole portion 15. The wall portion 16 is arranged at a position where it does not contact the latch bolt 10 when the latch bolt 10 moves between the locked position where the locking portion 12 is locked to the front plate 31 and the unlocked position where the locking portion 12 retracts and separates from the striker 3.

[0021] The spring 14 is arranged in the hole portion 15. The left end of the spring 14 contacts the wall portion 16 from the right side. The right end of the spring 14 contacts the latch bolt 10 from the left side. The spring 14 is a compression spring. The spring 14 biases the wall portion 16 and the latch bolt 10 in a direction in which they move away from each other in the left-right direction. The spring 14 biases the latch bolt 10 to the right with respect to the case 30. The spring 14 biases the latch 11 in a direction to draw it into the case 30 through the latch bolt 10.

[0022] The biasing force of the spring 14 is smaller than the force due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B. When the door 1 is closed, the latch 11 projects from the side surface 1a of the door 1 against the biasing force of the spring 14 due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B. When the door 1 is opened, since the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B is released, the latch 11 is drawn into the case 30 by the biasing force of the spring 14.

[0023] The latch hub 20 rotates about a central axis J1 extending in the thickness direction. The latch hub 20 has a first arm portion 21, a second arm portion 22, and a shaft fitting portion 23. The shaft fitting portion 23 is cylindrical and extends in the direction of the central axis J1 and opens to the indoor side. The shaft 2a of the lever handle 2 shown in FIG. 1 fits into the shaft fitting portion 23. By operating the lever handle 2 fitted with the shaft 2a in the shaft fitting portion 23, the latch hub 20 can rotate in the circumferential direction about the central axis J1.

[0024] When the latch hub 20 rotates clockwise about the central axis J1 by the operation of the lever handle 2, the first arm portion 21 engages with the protruding portion 18 protruding in the thickness direction of the latch bolt 10 from the left side and moves the latch hub 20 to the right side to unlock the latch 11.

[0025] The second arm portion 22 extends downward from the shaft fitting portion 23. The left side of the second arm portion 22 is in contact with the end face of the slider 34. The slider 34 is provided in the case 30 so as to be movable in the left - right direction. The left side of the slider 34 is in contact with the spring 24. The spring 24 is a compressed coil spring. The right side of the spring 24 is in contact with the slider 34, and the left side is in contact with the side wall 33 of the case 30. The slider 34 is biased to the right by the biasing force of the spring 24. When the spring 24 biases the slider 34 to the right, the second arm portion 22 can move in the counter - clockwise direction. When the second arm portion 22 moves in the counter - clockwise direction, the latch hub 20 rotates in the counter - clockwise direction. When the latch hub 20 rotating in the counter - clockwise direction contacts the side wall 35 in the case 30, the rotational movement in the counter - clockwise direction is restricted. The position where the latch hub 20 contacts the side wall 35 and the rotational movement is restricted is the locked position where the latch 11 protrudes from the case 30.

[0026] The opening and closing portion 60 is located at the right - hand end of the case 30 and is guided by a side wall 30a extending in the vertical direction and a guide wall 30b arranged at a distance to the left of the side wall 30a and extending in the vertical direction, and is movable in the vertical direction.

[0027] The drive unit 52 moves the opening and closing portion 60 in the vertical direction by the power from the power supply unit 80. The drive unit 52 moves the opening and closing portion 60 between a first position P1 shown in FIG. 2, which is above and away from the movement path of the first arm portion 21, and a second position P2 shown in FIG. 3, which moves downward and is located on the movement path of the first arm portion 21. The drive unit 52 moves the opening and closing portion 60 between a first position P1 where the latch 11 can be unlocked by the operation of the lever handle 2 and a second position P2 where the unlocking of the latch 11 by the operation of the lever handle 2 becomes impossible and the locked state is maintained. Even when the opening and closing portion 60 is located at the second position P2 on the movement path of the first arm portion 21, the latch bolt 10 can move to the right by a force greater than the force due to the magnetic attraction between the first magnet 3A and the second magnet 3B.

[0028] The drive unit 52 is, as an example, a latching solenoid. The drive unit 52 keeps the opening / closing unit 60 in the state of being at the first position P1 when the power from the power supply unit 80 is cut off.

[0029] The control board 70 has a receiving unit and a control unit. The receiving unit can receive a locking signal and an unlocking signal by wireless communication. The locking signal is a signal for locking the door 1 by preventing the operation of the lever handle 2 and holding the latch 11 in the state of protruding from the front plate 31. The unlocking signal is a signal that permits the operation of the lever handle 2 for pulling the latch 11 into the case 30 and enables unlocking of the door 1 using the latch 11.

[0030] As the standard for wireless communication used in the receiving unit, at least one of Bluetooth (registered trademark), Wi-fi, EnOcean, and optical communication such as infrared rays can be selected. The receiving unit outputs the received locking signal and unlocking signal to the control unit.

[0031] The control unit drives the drive unit 52 according to either the locking signal or the unlocking signal received and input by the receiving unit. When the locking signal is input, the control unit controls the drive unit 52 to position the opening / closing unit 60 at the second position P2. When the unlocking signal is input, the control unit controls the drive unit 52 to position the opening / closing unit 60 at the first position P1.

[0032] The power supply unit 80 supplies power to the drive unit 52, the receiving unit, and the control unit. The power supply unit 80 is, as an example, a battery. The power supply unit 80 is replaceable with respect to the case 30.

[0033] [Unlocking device 110] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the unlocking device 110 is formed in a thin plate shape that can be elastically deformed and bent. The unlocking device 110 is formed of, for example, a resin material. Examples of the resin material include polypropylene resin (PP) and styrene resin.

[0034] The unlocking device 110 is used when unlocking the latch 11. When the door 1 is locked, assuming the indoor-outdoor direction when the door 1 is locked is the thickness direction of the door 1, for example, the latch 11 has a face portion 11A on the outdoor side and a face portion 11B on the indoor side. The outdoor side corresponds to one side in the thickness direction of the door 1. The indoor side corresponds to the other side in the thickness direction of the door 1.

[0035] The face portion 11A extends in a direction toward the left, which is a direction away from the case 30 as it goes from the outdoor side toward the indoor side. The face portion 11A may be an inclined surface that extends linearly in a direction toward the left as it goes from the outdoor side toward the indoor side when viewed from above, or may be a curved surface that extends curvilinearly in a direction toward the left as it goes from the outdoor side toward the indoor side when viewed from above.

[0036] The face portion 11B is formed in a plane orthogonal to the indoor-outdoor direction. The face portion 11B may have a shape that is symmetric with the face portion 11A in the indoor-outdoor direction.

[0037] When the door 1 is locked, a gap is formed between the side surface 1a of the door 1 and the frame portion 5. The face portion 11A is exposed to the outdoor side through the gap. The face portion 11B is exposed to the indoor side through the gap.

[0038] The unlocking device 110 has a pushing-in portion 111 and an engaging portion 112. The pushing-in portion 111 is formed in a rectangular plate shape extending in one direction. The engaging portion 112 is located at the other end side of the pushing-in portion 111 with one end side facing the face portion 11A, and extends in a direction intersecting the one direction in which the pushing-in portion 111 extends. The engaging portion 112 extends in a direction orthogonal to the one direction in which the pushing-in portion 111 extends. The unlocking device 110 is formed in an L-shape where the pushing-in portion 111 and the engaging portion 112 intersect. The width, which is the dimension in one direction of the engaging portion 112, is larger than the width, which is the dimension in the direction orthogonal to the one direction of the pushing-in portion 111.

[0039] In the case where an unexpected situation occurs in the operation of the driving unit 52 or the operation of the latch hub 20 or the like, the operation of the lever handle 2 of the box lock 100 with the above configuration may become impossible. If the operation of the lever handle 2 becomes impossible, the door 1 cannot be unlocked. Hereinafter, the procedure for unlocking the door 1 using the unlocking device 110 will be described.

[0040] For example, when the user is located on the outdoor side of the door 1, as shown in FIG. 4, the engaging portion 112 of the L-shaped unlocking device 110 is grasped, and the pushing portion 111 is placed in a posture extending along the indoor-outdoor direction from a position outside the indoor side of the facing portion 11A toward the indoor side. In the posture where the pushing portion 111 extends along the indoor-outdoor direction, the pushing portion 111 is inserted into the gap between the side surface 1a of the door 1 and the frame portion 5 from the outdoor side, and as shown by the arrows in FIGS. 4 and 5, the pushing portion 111 is moved to the indoor side.

[0041] The pushing portion 111 that has moved to the indoor side has its tip contact the facing portion 11A of the latch 11 and push the facing portion 11A into the indoor side. Since the facing portion 11A extends in a direction toward the left as it goes from the outdoor side to the indoor side, a part of the force for pushing the facing portion 11A into the indoor side is converted into a force in the direction toward the right. By the pushing force converted into the force in the direction toward the right, the latch 11 moves to the right. When the latch 11 moves to the right, the door 1 is unlocked.

[0042] For example, when the user is located on the indoor side of the door 1, as shown in FIG. 6, the pushing portion 111 of the L-shaped unlocking device 110 is grasped, the engaging portion 112 is positioned below the latch 11, and the pushing portion 111 is placed in a posture extending along the indoor-outdoor direction from a position inside the indoor side of the facing portion 11B toward the outdoor side.

[0043] In the posture where the pushing portion 111 extends along the indoor-outdoor direction, the engaging portion 112 is inserted into the gap between the side surface 1a of the door 1 and the frame portion 5 from the indoor side. After the engaging portion 112 reaches the outdoor side of the latch 11, the unlocking device 110 is moved upward, and as shown in FIG. 7, the engaging portion 112 is opposed to the outdoor side of the facing portion 11A.

[0044] When the engaging portion 112 faces the face portion 11A on the outdoor side, as indicated by the arrows in FIGS. 7 and 8, the pushing portion 111 is moved to the indoor side. By moving the pushing portion 111 to the indoor side, the engaging portion 112 facing the face portion 11A on the outdoor side engages with the face portion 11A from the outdoor side.

[0045] By engaging with the face portion 11A from the outdoor side, the engaging portion 112 pulls the face portion 11A to the indoor side. A part of the force for pulling the face portion 11A to the indoor side is converted into a force in the direction toward the right side. Due to the pulling force converted into the force in the direction toward the right side, the latch 11 moves to the right side. When the latch 11 moves to the right side, the door 1 is unlocked.

[0046] [Unlocking in the frame portion with a door stop] As shown in FIG. 9, the procedure for unlocking in a configuration where a door stop portion 5A protruding in the finding direction is provided on the frame portion 5 will be described.

[0047] The door stop portion 5A is provided to protrude in the finding direction from the indoor side end portion of the frame portion 5. As shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, between the door 1 and the frame portion 5, a gap S1 located between the side surface 1a and the frame portion 5 and a gap S2 located between the indoor side surface of the door 1 and the door stop portion 5A form an L-shaped gap when viewed from above.

[0048] When unlocking using the unlocking device 110 from the indoor side where the door stop portion 5A is arranged, the pushing portion 111 is gripped and the engaging portion 112 is inserted into the gap S2 from the right side at a position below the latch 11 and pushed in an oblique direction facing the outdoor side. The pushed engaging portion 112 elastically deforms and is inserted from the gap S2 into the gap S1 and moves along the frame portion 5 toward the outdoor side.

[0049] After the engaging portion 112 reaches the outdoor side of the latch 11, the unlocking device 110 is moved upward, and the engaging portion 112 is opposed to the outdoor side of the face portion 11A. When the engaging portion 112 faces the face portion 11A on the outdoor side, the pushing portion 111 is moved to the indoor side. When the pushing portion 111 is moved to the indoor side, the engaging portion 112 that faces the face portion 11A on the outdoor side engages with the face portion 11A from the outdoor side.

[0050] By engaging with the face portion 11A from the outdoor side, the engaging portion 112 pulls the face portion 11A to the indoor side. A part of the force for pulling the face portion 11A to the indoor side is converted into a force in the direction toward the right side. By the pulling force converted into the force in the direction toward the right side, the latch 11 moves to the right side. When the latch 11 moves to the right side, the door 1 is unlocked.

[0051] The thickness of the unlocking device 110 is preferably 0.5 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less. When the thickness of the unlocking device 110 is less than 0.5 mm, the bending strength is small. Therefore, when the pushing portion 111 contacts the face portion 11A of the latch 11 and pushes the face portion 11A into the indoor side, and when the engaging portion 112 engages with and pulls the face portion 11A from the outdoor side, the pushing portion 111 and the engaging portion 112 may be deformed, and it may become impossible to move the latch 11 to the right side. When the thickness of the unlocking device 110 exceeds 1.0 mm, it may be difficult to insert into the gaps S1 and S2, and when the doorstop portion 5A is provided on the frame portion 5, elastic deformation may become difficult. By setting the thickness of the unlocking device 110 to 0.5 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less, it becomes easy to insert the unlocking device 110 into the gaps S1 and S2, and it becomes possible to stably move the latch 11 to the right side to unlock it.

[0052] In the unlocking device 110 of the embodiment, since it has a pushing portion 111 that extends along one direction and has one end in contact with and pushing the face portion 11A in a posture extending from a position on the outdoor side of the face portion 11A toward the indoor side along the indoor-outdoor direction, the latch 11 can be unlocked with a simple structure by moving the latch 11 to the right side from the outdoor side where the face portion 11A faces.

[0053] In the unlocking device 110 of the embodiment, since it is located on the other end side in one direction in the pushing-in portion 111 and extends in a direction intersecting at a right angle to the one direction, and in the posture where the pushing-in portion 111 extends along the indoor-outdoor direction from a position on the indoor side to the outdoor side with respect to the surface portion 11A, since it has the engaging portion 112 that engages with the surface portion 11A from the outdoor side, it becomes possible to move the latch 11 to the right by an operation from the indoor side on the side opposite to the outdoor side where the surface portion 11A faces, and the latch 11 can be unlocked with a simple structure.

[0054] In the unlocking device 110 of the embodiment, since it is formed in a thin plate shape that can be elastically deformed and bent, even in a configuration where the doorstop portion 5A protruding in the finding direction is provided on the frame portion 5, it becomes possible to move the latch 11 to the right by an operation from the indoor side on the side opposite to the outdoor side where the surface portion 11A faces by elastically deforming and bending it, and the latch 11 can be unlocked with a simple structure.

[0055] In the locking kit 120 of the embodiment, since it includes the unlocking device 110, even when an unexpected situation occurs and unlocking becomes impossible, it can be easily unlocked from either the outdoor side or the indoor side.

[0056] As described above, the preferred embodiments according to the present disclosure have been described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Needless to say, the present disclosure is not limited to such examples. The various shapes, combinations, etc. of the respective constituent members shown in the above examples are merely examples, and various modifications can be made based on design requirements and the like without departing from the gist of the present disclosure.

[0057] For example, in the locking kit 120 of the embodiment, although a configuration in which the unlocking device 110 has an L shape has been exemplified, as long as it has the pushing-in portion 111 and the engaging portion 112, it is not limited to this configuration. As the unlocking device 110, for example, as shown in FIG. 11, it may be in a boomerang shape in which the engaging portion 112 intersects the pushing-in portion 111 at an angle different from 90°. As the unlocking device 110, for example, as shown in FIG. 12, it may be in a J shape in which the engaging portion 112 is provided via the hypotenuse portion 113 intersecting the pushing-in portion 111.

[0058] In the embodiment, a drive unit 52, a receiving unit, a control unit, and a power supply unit 80 are provided in the box lock 100, and a configuration for switching between locking and unlocking wirelessly is exemplified, but the present disclosure is not limited to this configuration. The present disclosure is also applicable to a box lock that is unlocked by rotating a thumb turn without using wireless communication.
