Abstract
Description
Detailed Description of the Invention
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention mainly relates to a holder for holding tools used by attaching to a stepladder used in construction work and the like.
Background Art
[0002] When working at heights in interior construction or electrical work, etc., a stepladder is used. The stepladder is in a folded ladder shape and is deployed in a triangular shape and self-standing when in use. The worker hangs their feet on a plurality of steps provided in a ladder shape on the stepladder and climbs up near the top plate to perform work.
[0003] As a typical example of a stepladder, it has a ladder-shaped basic shape with a rotatable folding part in the middle of its longitudinal direction, which is folded to facilitate carrying. When in use, it is self-standing on the ground or floor by deploying the folded part.
[0004] In work at heights using a stepladder, tools and building materials required for the work are carried up and down the stepladder from the state of being placed on the ground. Needless to say, climbing up and down the stepladder is cumbersome, and it is also a situation where it cannot be denied that there is a risk of the worker losing their balance or tripping and falling from the stepladder. Therefore, when working on the stepladder, a member for placing tools above the stepladder, provided with a fixing part for fixing to at least one of the feet and steps of the stepladder at the base of the latching tool body having a latching part for latching tools at the tip, and minimizing the climbing up and down of the stepladder, is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0006] As a general structure of a step ladder, a pair of ladder bodies each including two columns, a plurality of steps spanned between the two columns, and a top plate connecting upper end portions of the two columns are connected to be relatively rotatable at their upper end portions, and an opening stopper mechanism for restricting relative displacement of the pair of ladder bodies in an open state where the pair of ladder bodies are separated at a predetermined interval is provided.
[0007] Here, as the cross-section of the column of the step ladder, those having a substantially U-shape or a substantially L-shape and those having a circular shape are the mainstream. Also, as the material of the column, light metals such as aluminum and steel are adopted. In a conventional example, it has been proposed to fit into the leg (column) of the step ladder at the fixing portion and fix it by tightening with a fixing screw on the side portion.
[0008] However, in a general clamp structure, a reliable fixing force may not be obtained. Fig. 2 shows the fixing situation of a fixing portion having a general clamp structure and the cross-section of the column of the step ladder being substantially U-shaped. The substantially U-shape of the cross-section of the column of the step ladder has a configuration in which a pair of short sides are connected to both ends of one long side and bent at a right angle. In Fig. 2(a), the frame body 11 of the fixing portion of the hooking tool main body is applied to the column A of the step ladder, the handle 13 is turned to advance the screw portion 14, and the column 12 of the step ladder is clamped between the clamping plate 15 and the pressure receiving plate 16 and tightened. However, as shown in Fig. 2(b), when the pair of short sides of the substantially U-shaped material are strongly clamped by the clamp structure, the long side connecting the short sides is deformed and bent, and sufficient holding force in the fixing portion cannot be exerted. In particular, when a force is applied in a direction of rotating around the axis of the fixing screw of the fixing portion, the hooking portion rotates, and there is also a risk of falling off from the fixing portion when the rotation gains momentum. Also, when the cross-section of the column is circular, it is not easy to catch the center of the circle with the tip of the fixing screw and tighten it, and a stable fixing is difficult.
[0009] Furthermore, in the conventional example, a hook 17 is provided at the tip of the engaging tool body. As an example, a hook 17 is proposed that is formed in a hook shape and is easy to hang tools or a waist pouch containing tools. (See Fig. 3)
[0010] However, with this structure, since only the straps of the tools or the handles of the bags containing the tools are hooked from above the hook-shaped hook 17, there is a risk that the tools hooked by an unexpected impact or vibration may come off the hook 17 and fall.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0011] (1) Instead of fixing by sandwiching the parallel part of the strut of the step ladder from the outside, the present invention realizes reliable fixation in a step ladder with a substantially U-shaped or substantially L-shaped cross-section by sandwiching it from a direction of about 45° that opposes the two inner sides of the substantially U-shaped or substantially L-shaped cross-section.
[0012] (2) In addition, since a notch capable of stably holding the curved surface is provided at the tip of the threaded rod, materials with a circular cross-section can also be reliably fixed.
[0013] (3) Furthermore, a lock mechanism for controlling the attachment and detachment of tools and the waist pouch is provided in the holder part.
Effects of the Invention
[0014] Since the step ladder holder according to the present invention is configured as described above, reliable fixation is possible even if the shape of the strut of the step ladder is substantially U-shaped, substantially L-shaped, or circular. In addition, since a lock mechanism for controlling the attachment and detachment of tools and the waist pouch is provided in the holder part, even if an unexpected impact or vibration is applied to the step ladder holder body, there is no risk of dropping the attached waist pouch or tools, and there is no worry of damaging the construction site or damaging the tools, and reliable holding is possible.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0016] Hereinafter, with reference to the drawings, a step ladder holder according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0017] As a basic configuration, it has a clamp part 2 fixed to a step ladder A at the lower end of a hollow shaft 1 which is a long body located in the middle of the main body, and a holder part 3 for locking tools and a waist pouch at the upper end. In FIG. 1 showing the step ladder holder of the present invention, 1 is a hollow shaft, 2 is a clamp part, and 3 is a holder part.
[0018] The clamp part has a function of fixing the holder according to the present invention to a step ladder. Also, by the holder part provided at the upper end of the hollow shaft 1, it is possible to lock a waist pouch and tools.
[0019] Next, the specific configuration of the holder for a step ladder according to the present invention will be described. In FIG. 1, the hollow shaft 1 is a tubular member having a circular cross-section, and two of them are arranged in parallel and connected. The clamp portion 2 provided at the lower end of the hollow shaft 1 has, as shown in FIG. 4, a female screw portion 23 provided at the frame end 22 of a frame body 21 having a shape in which one surface of a belt-like member is configured in a substantially pentagonal shape and the surface is released. A screw rod 24 screwed into the female screw portion 23 is provided, and a handle 25 is provided on the head portion located outside the frame end 22 of the screw rod 24. The handle is used when rotating the screw rod. A pressure receiving portion 26 is provided at the tip of the frame body 21 on the opposite side of the frame end 22. A clamping portion 27 is provided at the tip of the screw rod 24 on the side opposite to the handle 25. Further, an elastic member 28 for displacing the angle of the screw rod 24 is provided at a portion of the frame end 22 through which the screw rod 24 passes. A notch 29 is provided in the pressure receiving portion 26.
[0020] To fix the holder to the pillar of the step ladder, the handle 25 of the clamp portion is rotated to fix the clamp portion. The female screw portion is provided in a hole formed at one end of the frame body. The screw rod is screwed into the female screw portion so as to be able to advance and retreat, and when tightened, it can generate a pressure for sandwiching the pillar of the step ladder. The clamping portion is provided at the end opposite to the handle side of the screw rod, and is provided at a position and direction where a right angle is arranged at the tip of the screw rod at an angle of approximately a right angle in a side view. Further, the pressure receiving portion is configured to be approximately at a right angle so as to match the clamping portion that has advanced with the screw.
[0021] Also, there may be a case where the thicknesses of the vertical side and the horizontal side of the substantially L-shaped cross-section are different. In this case, the center of the clamp screw does not hit the right-angled corner of the pressure receiving portion, and a gap is formed on either side. Then, the clamp cannot be stably fixed. To avoid this, an elastic body 32 (rubber washer) is incorporated in the female screw portion that receives the screw shaft of the clamp to enable displacement of the advancing direction of the screw rod.
[0022] Incidentally, the shape of the handle is a substantially star shape having five convex portions, and the sides connecting the vertices are gently concave and suitable for receiving the fingers of the operator.
[0023] Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the holder portion 3 provided at the upper end of the hollow shaft 2 has a locking portion that detachably inserts a bracket B fixed to the back surface portion of a bag-shaped pocket or a portable tool M into a groove portion that partitions and forms a storage space, and holds the pocket or the portable tool together with the bracket. A stopper 31 is provided which is slidably held by the holder portion 3 via elastic means, abuts against the upper portion of the bracket inserted into the groove portion by the restoring force of the elastic means to prevent the bracket from being pulled out, and only by releasing the contact at the upper portion of the bracket while maintaining the contracted posture of the elastic means, the bracket can be pulled out. The elastic means includes an elastic body 32 having one end linked to the stopper and the other end linked to the seat portion 33, and a seat portion 33 linked to the other end of the elastic body. It consists of a recess 34 that forms an arrangement space for inserting the elastic body itself in combination with the stopper. The base portion of the holder portion has a hemispherical casing 35 and a rotation axis 36 that can rotate in the left-right direction in a front view, and is pivotally supported by a swing axis 37 so as to swing in the front-rear direction in a front view.
[0024] Incidentally, as a second embodiment of the holder for a stepladder, the column of the main body may be omitted and the holder portion and the clamp portion may be directly connected.
[0025] FIG. 7 shows a second embodiment of the present invention. The clamp portion and the holder portion are directly connected. Incidentally, the connecting portion may be configured to pivotally support the holder portion so that it can rotate.
[0026] In the second embodiment, for the holder portion directly connected to the clamp portion, the structure already described may be adopted, or it may be replaced with a simple one. That is, in the present embodiment, the simple holder portion 4 having a simple structure has, on its front side, six bracket holding portions including a storage space S arranged in the left-right direction. These bracket holding portions each have a frame portion that partitions and forms the storage space S, a support protrusion, and a stopper portion.
[0027] Since all six bracket holding parts have the same shape and dimensions, hereinafter, the description will be limited to one of them. In the present embodiment, the accommodation space S is partitioned and formed by a rail-shaped frame part 41 surrounding the front-back, left-right directions and a support protrusion 42 erected at the lower center. The frame part 41 and the support protrusion 42 restrict the movement of the bracket 43 arranged in the accommodation space S in the front-back direction, left-right direction, and downward direction within a predetermined range.
[0028] Also, above the accommodation space S, a tongue piece 44 having elasticity and swingable in the front-back direction of the holder is provided. In this embodiment, the tongue piece 44 extends rightward with a substantially central point above the front of the bracket holding part as a base point. Further, a protrusion erected toward the front side is provided at the tip of the tongue piece. When the simple holder part is made of resin, the tongue piece can be integrally formed. Also, when the holder body is to have a robust structure and is made of metal or the like, it is also possible to provide the elastic resin-made tongue piece 44 by assembling it from the back side of the holder body. The tongue piece 44 restricts the upward movement of the bracket arranged in the accommodation space S. That is, the tongue piece 44 is biased in the front direction of the holder body by the elastic force of the material it has. When the bracket is inserted into the simple holder part, the bracket penetrates into the holder while pushing aside the tongue piece. When the bracket is completely mounted in the holder, the tongue piece returns to its original position by its elasticity. The bracket accommodated in the accommodation space S is prevented from coming out by the protrusion provided at the tip of the tongue piece. Thereby, the tool bracket is engaged and held with respect to the simple holder in a state where it is prevented from coming out. Also, when removing the tool bracket from the simple holder, when the tongue piece 44 is pushed and swung from the front to the back direction, the tongue piece 44 moves from above the bracket and can pull up the bracket upward, so that it can be easily removed.
[0029] The basic structures and dimensions of the holder and the simple holder are common, and the bracket of the present invention is applicable to both the holder and the simple holder.
[0030] Note that the simple holder 4 of this embodiment is configured to insert the bracket 3 from above the accommodation space S, but the insertion direction is not particularly limited. Also, the shape of the bracket is not particularly limited as long as it can be inserted into the holder.
[0031] What has been described above is merely an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist thereof.
