Abstract

To provide a control device capable of suppressing occurrence of an abnormal sound in a power-assisted bicycle; and to provide a power-assisted bicycle capable of suppressing occurrence of an abnormal sound.SOLUTION: A control device 50 increases a degree of assisting rotation of a pedal 4 when a ratio R between a rotational speed Nw (rpm) of a wheel and a rotational speed Nm (rpm) of a motor 40 is within a prescribed range Ra, in comparison with a degree of assisting the rotation of the pedal 4 when the ratio R between the rotational speed Nw (rpm) of the wheel and the rotational speed Nm (rpm) of the motor 40 is outside the prescribed range Ra.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
