Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a lighting fixture including a terminal block. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, lighting fixtures equipped with terminal blocks have been known. Patent Document 1 discloses a lighting fixture equipped with a fixture body, a service light source unit, and an emergency light source unit. The fixture body is attached to a ceiling and has a long, box-shaped storage section extending in the longitudinal direction, and a hook hole and a receptacle provided in the storage section. The storage section stores at least a portion of each of the service light source unit and the emergency light source unit. The hook hole and the receptacle are for detachably attaching the service light source unit. The fixture body holds the service light source unit and the emergency light source unit in a lined-up state along the longitudinal direction of the storage section. The storage section is formed with a second power supply hole through which a second power line, a fire-resistant cable for supplying emergency power to the emergency light source unit, is drawn. The second power supply line extends from the ceiling space, and the second power supply hole is formed in a portion of the storage section corresponding to the emergency light source unit.
[0003] The emergency light source unit includes an emergency LED module, a lighting circuit block, a terminal block, a cover, a mounting plate, and a retaining piece. The terminal block has a rectangular parallelepiped housing, and a pair of first insertion holes on the primary side and a pair of second insertion holes on the secondary side are formed on the front side of the housing. The terminal block can complete an electrical connection with the conductor simply by inserting the conductor into each insertion hole. Both the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole open in the short direction of the fixture body. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-140954 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, in the lighting fixture disclosed in Patent Document 1, the first and second insertion holes of the terminal block are both open in the short-side direction of the fixture body. Because the width of the housing section of the fixture body in the short-side direction is narrow, the second power line inserted into the first insertion hole of the terminal block cannot be kept in the housing section, and must be pushed back into the ceiling space after being inserted into the first insertion hole of the terminal block.
[0006] The present disclosure has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and provides a lighting fixture that does not require the wires to be pushed back into the attic space. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The lighting fixture of the present disclosure comprises a fixture body attached to a mounting portion and extending in the longitudinal direction in which a storage portion is formed, a light source unit attached to the fixture body, and a terminal block housed in the storage portion, having a wire insertion port formed along the longitudinal direction of the fixture body for inserting an electric wire, and supplying power to the light source unit. [Effects of the Invention]
[0008] According to the present disclosure, the wire insertion port of the terminal block is formed along the longitudinal direction of the fixture body. Because there is ample space in the longitudinal direction of the fixture body, the wire inserted into the wire insertion port can be retained in the storage section. Therefore, there is no need to push the wire back into the ceiling space after inserting it into the wire insertion port. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0010] An example of a lighting fixture according to the present disclosure will be described below in the form of an embodiment. The lighting fixture according to the present disclosure is mounted to a mounting surface such as a ceiling or a wall by being directly attached or embedded therein. In the following embodiment, the components of the lighting fixture will be described using the directions in which the lighting fixture mounted to the mounting surface is viewed. Note that the Z direction in the following drawings indicates the up-down direction, the Z1 direction indicates the upward direction, and the Z2 direction indicates the downward direction. The X direction in the following drawings indicates the horizontal direction and the longitudinal direction of the lighting fixture. The Y direction in the following drawings indicates the vertical direction and the transverse direction of the lighting fixture. The Y1 direction in the following drawings is the direction from the light source unit 4 (described later) to the common light source unit 3 (described later). The Y2 direction in the following drawings is the direction from the common light source unit 3 (described later) to the light source unit 4 (described later). Note that these directions are defined for convenience in describing the embodiment and do not limit the lighting fixture according to the present disclosure.
[0011] Furthermore, the lighting fixture 1 according to the present disclosure includes at least a light source unit 4 described below, and emits light from the light source unit 4 when power is supplied from, for example, a battery arranged outside the lighting fixture 1. The lighting fixture 1 according to the present disclosure is, for example, an emergency light or an emergency exit light. However, the lighting fixture 1 according to the present disclosure is not limited to emergency lights and emergency exit lights.
[0012] Embodiment 1 FIG. 1 is an assembled perspective view showing a lighting fixture 1 according to a first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the lighting fixture 1 includes at least one lighting fixture that emits light. Hereinafter, the lighting fixture 1 includes at least one lighting fixture that is referred to as a light source unit 4. In addition to the light source unit 4, the lighting fixture 1 also includes a normal light source unit 3. The lighting fixture 1 also includes a fixture body 2 to which the normal light source unit 3 and the light source unit 4 are attached. That is, the lighting fixture 1 includes the normal light source unit 3, the light source unit 4, and the fixture body 2 to which the normal light source unit 3 and the light source unit 4 are attached. The lighting fixture 1 is to be attached to a mounting portion (not shown) such as a ceiling or a wall.
[0013] The regular light source unit 3 emits light using power supplied from an external power source (not shown) such as a commercial power source. The regular light source unit 3 receives power from the external power source via a regular light source electric wire 56 (see FIG. 2).
[0014] The light source unit 4 emits light using power supplied from a separate power source different from the external power source. As described above, the separate power source is, for example, a battery disposed externally to the lighting fixture 1. Note that the separate power source is not limited to a battery disposed externally to the lighting fixture 1, but may also be a battery disposed internally to the lighting fixture 1. The light source unit 4 receives power from the separate power source via an electric wire 62 (see FIG. 2 ). Specifically, for example, when the power supplied from the external power source to the regular light source unit 3 is stopped, the light source unit 4 emits light using power supplied from the separate power source. Note that the lighting fixture 1 may be configured to include only the light source unit 4, without including a lighting fixture corresponding to the regular light source unit 3. It is also desirable to use a fire-resistant cable for the electric wire 62 so that it does not break even in the event of a disaster such as a fire. Fire-resistant cables are made of a material that is difficult to bend, making them difficult to work with.
[0015] (Apparatus body 2) 2 and 3 are exploded perspective views showing the lighting fixture 1 according to embodiment 1. FIG. 3 shows the lighting fixture 1 in FIG. 2 with the normal light source unit 3 omitted and the terminal block 6 and the normal light source terminal block 5 removed. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the fixture body 2 is attached to a mounting portion such as a ceiling or a wall, and is a housing 41 to which the normal light source unit 3 and the light source unit 4 are attached. The fixture body 2 has a main body 21, a pair of fixture inclined portions 24, and a pair of fixture end portions 25.
[0016] (Main body 21) The main body 21 is formed in an elongated shape, and a cross section taken along a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction X has a generally inverted U-shape. The main body 21 includes a bottom wall 22 and a pair of side wall portions 23.
[0017] (Bottom wall portion 22) The bottom wall portion 22 is configured in the shape of a long plate. The bottom wall portion 22 is arranged along a mounting portion such as a ceiling, and serves as a mounting portion for the lighting fixture 1 to the mounting portion. The bottom wall portion 22 is also referred to as a top surface portion. The bottom wall portion 22 is formed in an elongated shape along the longitudinal direction X, and is formed in the shape of a flat plate extending in the longitudinal direction X and the lateral direction Y.
[0018] (Side wall portion 23) The pair of side walls 23 are formed to protrude from both ends of the bottom wall 22 in the short-side direction Y so as to face each other. The pair of side walls 23 extend downward in the Z2 direction from the bottom wall 22 and also extend in the longitudinal direction X. Here, the main body 21 is formed by bending a metal plate, i.e., a metal sheet, by press working, roll working, or the like. The main body 21 may also be formed by processing such as extrusion molding or three-dimensional modeling.
[0019] (Instrument slope part 24) Each of the pair of inclined tool portions 24 is an inclined wall that protrudes from the lower end of the pair of side wall portions 23 of the main body portion 21 in the short-side direction Y1 and the short-side direction Y2 of the main body portion 21 so as to move away from the main body portion 21. The pair of inclined tool portions 24 are inclined so as to move closer to the attachment portion as they move away from the main body portion 21.
[0020] (Instrument end 25) The pair of instrument end portions 25 are formed in the shape of an inverted trapezoidal plate. The pair of instrument end portions 25 close both ends in the longitudinal direction of the integral body of the main body portion 21 and the pair of instrument inclined portions 24.
[0021] The fixture main body 2 has a concave storage section 26 formed by closing both longitudinal ends of the integrated body of the main body section 21 and the pair of fixture inclined sections 24 with a pair of fixture end sections 25. The upper part of the storage section 26 is formed by the plate-shaped bottom wall section 22 of the main body section 21, and the side parts are formed by a pair of side wall sections 23 of the main body section 21 and a pair of fixture end sections 25. The storage section 26 is open downward, and has an opening 27a on the lower side opposite the bottom wall section 22. The regular light source unit 3 is attached to the fixture main body 2 through the opening 27a of the fixture main body 2, and a portion of it is housed in the storage section 26. The regular light source unit 3 is attached to the main body 21 by mounting springs 28 provided at both longitudinal end sections of the bottom wall section 22 in the longitudinal direction X.
[0022] The bottom wall portion 22 is formed with a regular insertion hole 22a for introducing from the outside a regular light source electric wire 56 electrically connected to the regular light source unit 3, and an insertion hole 22b for introducing from the outside an electric wire 62 electrically connected to the light source unit 4. The regular insertion hole 22a is formed in the center of the bottom wall portion 22 in the longitudinal direction X. Although the regular insertion hole 22a is circular in the illustrated example, it is not limited to a circular shape and may be other shapes such as a rectangle. The insertion hole 22b is formed at a position closer to the end portion in the longitudinal direction X than the regular insertion hole 22a. The insertion hole 22b is formed in a circular shape with a larger diameter than the regular insertion hole 22a. It is to be noted that the insertion hole 22b is not limited to a circular shape and may be other shapes such as a rectangle.
[0023] A service light source terminal block 5 is attached to the bottom wall portion 22. As shown in Fig. 2, a service light source electric wire 56 is electrically connected to the service light source terminal block 5, which is drawn into the housing portion 26 through the service insertion hole 22a. Note that the service light source electric wire 56 is not shown in Fig. 3.
[0024] A terminal block 6 is fixed to the bottom wall 22 together with the regular light source terminal block 5. An electric wire 62 drawn into the housing portion 26 through the insertion hole 22b is electrically connected to the terminal block 6.
[0025] In addition, in the housing section 26, the regular light source terminal block 5 and the terminal block 6 are attached adjacent to each other to the bottom wall section 22. This makes it easier to perform wiring work all at once, and improves workability, compared to a configuration in which the regular light source terminal block 5 and the terminal block 6 are attached separately to the bottom wall section 22.
[0026] Furthermore, the bottom wall portion 22 is formed with bolt through-holes 22c through which suspension bolts (not shown) for attaching the fixture body 2 to an attachment portion are passed. Two bolt through-holes 22c are formed spaced apart in the longitudinal direction X in the bottom wall portion 22. The fixture body 2 is attached to an attachment portion such as a ceiling or a wall by passing suspension bolts through the bolt through-holes 22c of the bottom wall portion 22 and tightening nuts (not shown).
[0027] The fixture body 2 has a fixture penetration portion 29 that penetrates in the vertical direction Z and has an opening 27a in the short direction Y in one of the pair of fixture inclined portions 24. The fixture penetration portion 29 is a portion that houses the light source unit 4. The light source unit 4 is disposed in the fixture penetration portion 29 and fixed to the bottom wall portion 22 of the main body portion 21. Note that the fixture body 2 according to this embodiment is a V-shaped type lighting fixture 1. However, the fixture body 2 may also be a lighting fixture 1 of a shaded type, a one-sided reflecting shaded type, a trough type, or the like.
[0028] (Normal light source unit 3) The normal light source unit 3 is, for example, a normal lighting fixture. That is, the normal light source unit 3 is a normal lighting fixture that is turned on in a normal state. The normal state refers to a state in which power is supplied to the lighting fixture 1 from an external power source such as a commercial power source. In contrast, an emergency state refers to a state in which power is not supplied to the lighting fixture 1 from the external power source due to some cause, such as a power outage. When the lighting fixture 1 is turned on in a normal state, light is emitted from the normal light source unit 3 toward an illuminated area, such as a room.
[0029] The regular light source unit 3 is also referred to as a first lighting fixture, a first light source unit, a regular lighting fixture, or a regular light source unit 3. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the regular light source unit 3 is formed into an elongated shape in the longitudinal direction X, and is attached to the fixture body 2 for use. The regular light source unit 3 has an outer casing 31 and the like. The outer casing 31 is a member that constitutes the outer casing of the regular light source unit 3. The outer casing 31 is made of a translucent material that transmits at least visible light. The outer casing 31 is a translucent cover formed using, for example, glass or a resin material such as polycarbonate or acrylic. Note that the portion of the outer casing 31 that is not exposed from the housing portion 26 may be made of a material that has reflective or light-blocking properties.
[0030] A regular light source (not shown) is housed inside the outer casing 31. The regular light source includes a light-emitting element such as a light-emitting diode or an LED element. That is, when the lighting fixture 1 is turned on in a normal state, light is emitted from the light-emitting element.
[0031] The regular light source unit 3 is provided with a mounting bracket (not shown), and the mounting bracket is hooked onto a mounting spring 28 of the main body 21 to be held by the main body 21 .
[0032] (Light source unit 4) The light source unit 4 is, for example, an emergency lighting device. That is, the light source unit 4 is an emergency lighting device that turns on in an emergency state. As described above, an emergency state refers to a state in which power is not supplied to the lighting device 1 from an external power source due to some cause, such as a power outage. When the lighting device 1 is turned on in an emergency state, light is emitted from the light source unit 4 toward the illuminated area.
[0033] 1 and 2, the light source unit 4 is attached to the fixture body 2 outside the normal light source unit 3. The light source unit 4 is also referred to as a second lighting fixture, a second light source unit, an emergency lighting fixture, or an emergency light source unit. The light source unit 4 is disposed in the fixture penetration portion 29.
[0034] The light source unit 4 is formed in an elongated shape in the longitudinal direction X, and is attached to the fixture body 2 along the longitudinal direction X. The light source unit 4 is arranged alongside the regular light source unit 3 in the short direction Y. The light source unit 4 is arranged so that the longitudinal direction of the regular light source unit 3 and the longitudinal direction of the light source unit 4 are parallel in a bottom view seen from the illuminated area side. The light emitting point of the light source unit 4 is approximately the center of the light source unit 4 in the longitudinal direction X.
[0035] The light source unit 4 has a housing 41, a light source section 42 housed in the housing 41, and wiring 61 electrically connected to the light source section 42 and extending outside the housing 41. The housing 41 is formed in a box shape with the longitudinal direction in the X direction. The housing 41 has a pair of side surfaces facing each other in the Z direction, and a light passage hole 43 penetrating in the Z direction is formed in the side surface opposite to the side fixed to the bottom wall section 22.
[0036] The light source section 42 is a portion that includes a light emitting element such as an LED. The light source section 42 is fixed inside the housing 41 so that the light emitting element is exposed from the light passing hole 43. As a result, the light source unit 4 is configured so that light emitted from the light source section 42 passes through the light passing hole 43 and is irradiated outside the housing 41.
[0037] (Common light source terminal block 5) Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view showing the utility light source terminal block 5 and terminal block 6 according to the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 4, the utility light source terminal block 5 and terminal block 6 are attached to the housing portion 26 of the fixture body 2 in an integrated state. The utility light source terminal block 5 has a base portion 51, a connection portion 52, a terminal block body 53, utility light source wiring 54, and a connector 55. The base portion 51 is attached to the bottom wall portion 22 of the fixture body 2 and is a plate-shaped member.
[0038] The connection portion 52 is a plate-like member extending in the height direction from one side of the base portion 51, and connects the base portion 51 to the terminal block main body 53. The terminal block main body 53 is a rectangular parallelepiped member and has a plurality of service wire insertion ports 5a formed therein, into which the service light source electric wires 56 are inserted. Here, the service wire insertion ports 5a open along the longitudinal direction of the fixture main body 2. The service light source wiring 54 extends from the opposite side of the terminal block main body 53 from the service wire insertion ports 5a toward the service wire insertion ports 5a. The connector 55 is connected to the tip of the service light source wiring 54 and is electrically connected to the service light source unit 3. As a result, power is supplied from an external power source to the service light source unit 3 via the service light source electric wires 56, the service light source terminal block 5, the service light source wiring 54, and the connector 55.
[0039] (terminal block 6) As shown in FIG. 4 , the terminal block 6 is a rectangular parallelepiped member and is attached to the connection portion 52 of the common light source terminal block 5. The terminal block 6 has a plurality of wire insertion openings 6a into which electric wires 62 are inserted. Here, the wire insertion openings 6a are open along the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2. The wire insertion openings 6a include a primary side insertion opening 7 into which the electric wires 62 extending from an external power source through the insertion hole 22b are inserted, and a secondary side insertion opening 8 into which the wiring 61 drawn from the light source unit 4 is inserted. The primary side insertion opening 7 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2. The secondary side insertion opening 8 is formed along the lateral direction of the fixture body 2 and faces the light source unit 4. The wiring 61 drawn from the light source unit 4 is electrically connected to the terminal block 6. As a result, power is supplied to the light source unit 4 from a separate power source via the electric wires 62, the terminal block 6, and the wiring 61.
[0040] Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing the wiring state of the lighting fixture 1 according to embodiment 1. As shown in Fig. 5, a service light source electric wire 56 extending along the longitudinal direction of the housing portion 26 through the service insertion hole 22a is inserted into the service electric wire insertion port 5a of the service light source terminal block 5. This allows power to be supplied from the external power source to the service light source terminal block 5.
[0041] Fig. 6 is an enlarged view showing the wiring state of lighting fixture 1 according to embodiment 1, which is an enlargement of the circled portion in Fig. 5. As shown in Fig. 6, an electric wire 62 extending along the longitudinal direction of housing portion 26 through insertion hole 22b is inserted into electric wire insertion port 6a of terminal block 6. This allows power to be supplied from an external power source to terminal block 6.
[0042] FIG. 7 is a side view showing the wiring state of the lighting fixture 1 according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 7 , the service light source electric wire 56 passes from above the fixture body 2 through the service insertion hole 22a of the fixture body 2 to reach the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2. In the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2, the service light source electric wire 56 is bent so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2 and is inserted into the service electric wire insertion port 5a of the service light source terminal block 5. That is, the service electric wire insertion port 5a of the service light source terminal block 5 faces the service insertion hole 22a of the fixture body 2. In addition, the electric wire 62 passes from above the fixture body 2 through the insertion hole 22b of the fixture body 2 to reach the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2. In the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2, the electric wire 62 is bent so as to extend in the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2 and is inserted into the electric wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6. That is, the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 faces the insertion hole 22b of the fixture body 2. Furthermore, the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 and the service wire insertion port 5a of the service light source terminal block 5 face in opposite directions. This ensures that there is space in the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2 for arranging the electric wire 62 and space for arranging the service light source electric wire 56. In the accommodation section 26 of the fixture body 2, the terminal block 6 and the service light source terminal block 5 are arranged between the insertion hole 22b and the service insertion hole 22a.
[0043] FIG. 8 is a bottom view illustrating the operation of the lighting fixture 1 according to the first embodiment, and FIG. 9 is a side view illustrating the operation of the lighting fixture 1 according to the first embodiment. Next, the operation of the lighting fixture 1 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, in the first embodiment, the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2. Because there is ample space in the longitudinal direction of the fixture body 2, the wire 62 inserted into the wire insertion port 6a can be retained in the storage section 26. Therefore, after being inserted into the wire insertion port 6a, there is no need to push the wire 62 back into the attic space. The distance from the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 to the insertion hole 22b of the fixture body 2 is, for example, 100 mm.
[0044] FIG. 10 is a bottom view of a lighting fixture 1a according to a comparative example, and FIG. 11 is a side view of the lighting fixture 1a according to the comparative example. FIG. 12 is a side view showing the wiring of the lighting fixture 1a according to the comparative example. As shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 , in the comparative example, the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 opens in the short-side direction of the fixture body 2. The width of the housing 26 of the fixture body 2 in the short-side direction is narrow, making installation difficult. In the comparative example, the width from the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 to the end of the housing 26 of the fixture body 2 is, for example, 45 mm. Furthermore, in the comparative example, as shown in FIG. 12 , the wire 62 inserted into the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 cannot be retained in the housing 26 and must be pushed back into the ceiling space after being inserted into the wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6.
[0045] (First Modification) FIG. 13 is a side view showing a lighting fixture 1 according to a first modified example. As shown in FIG. 13, in the first modified example, a raceway 70 is provided on the upper surface of the fixture body 2. The raceway 70 functions as a support member for attaching the lighting fixture 1 to a mounting portion. The height of the raceway 70 is, for example, 30 mm. As described above, since the lighting fixture 1 does not need to push the electric wire 62 back into the attic space after it is inserted into the electric wire insertion port 6a, there is ample space in the attic space. This allows the raceway 70 to be attached to the lighting fixture 1. In particular, if the electric wire 62 is made of a material that is difficult to bend, such as a fire-resistant cable, the height required to push the electric wire 62 back into the attic space is increased, making it even more effective not to need to push the electric wire 62 back into the attic space.
[0046] (Second Modification) 14 and 15 are perspective views showing a lighting fixture 1 according to a second modified example. FIG. 15 is an enlarged view of the circled portion in FIG. 14. As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, in the second modified example, the terminal block 6 and the utility light source terminal block 5 are provided on the utility light source unit 3. In this case as well, the utility light source unit 3 is accommodated in the accommodation portion 26 of the fixture body 2, and the terminal block 6 and the utility light source terminal block 5 are disposed in the accommodation portion 26.
[0047] (Third Modification) Fig. 16 is a perspective view showing a lighting fixture 1 according to a third modified example. As shown in Fig. 16, the electric wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 and the electric wire insertion port 5a of the electric light source terminal block 5 face in the same direction. In this case, if sufficient space is secured between the insertion hole 22b of the fixture body 2 and the electric wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6, it is easy to install the electric wire 62.
[0048] Fig. 17 is a perspective view showing a lighting fixture 1a according to a comparative example. As shown in Fig. 17, in the comparative example, the electric wire insertion port 6a of the terminal block 6 and the electric wire insertion port 5a of the electric wire terminal block 5 for the electric light source face in the same direction, and the distance between the electric wire insertion port 6a and the electric wire insertion port 5a for the electric wire is short. Therefore, the space in which the electric wire 62 and the electric wire 56 for the electric light source are arranged is narrow. Therefore, it is difficult to install the electric wire 62.
