A light system and method includes a housing having an array of LEDs spaced to transmit light within a field of illumination. An EM sensor disposed within the housing is configured to detect EM radiation within the field of illumination. A processor is configured to generate an output in response to levels of EM radiation, such as visible light, infrared light, and / or radio frequency (RF) radiation detected by the EM sensor relative to a predetermined setpoint.

The LED street lamp comprises a double-sided radiator (103) which is molded by metal through extrusion; a mounting interface is installed on the double-sided radiator (103); an LED bulb (102) is disposed on the mounting interface; the double-sided radiator (103) is mounted on a lamp pole (108); and a lamp shell (101) which is molded by metal through extrusion or molded by plastic through die casting is disposed outside the double-sided radiator (103). The LED street lamp disclosed by the invention has the advantage of being simple in structure, low in cost and rapid and convenient to mount, use and maintain, and hard in fault magnification. According to the LED street lamp using the double-sided radiator structure, the bulb of the LED lamp, the lamp and a lighting control product are independent in production and use, therefore, production links of the LED street lamp can be greatly reduced, mass production is realized; and the LED street lamp using the double-sided radiator structure is beneficial for application and large-scale industrialization of LED energy-saving lighting products.
