[0009] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described. Any combination of the following embodiments without causing any contradiction is also included in the embodiments for carrying out the invention. [1] The bathtub disclosed herein has a sheet-made bathtub body that is used by storing hot and cold water in a suspended state, and the bathtub body has a bathtub drain outlet for draining the stored hot and cold water. By having the bathtub body drain outlet, the bathtub can easily drain the hot and cold water stored in the bathtub body. [2] In the bathtub described in [1] above, when the bathtub body is suspended in a bathroom and filled with hot and cold water, the bathtub drain outlet is located above and away from the bathroom floor. Because the bathtub drain outlet is located above and away from the bathroom floor, the bathtub can be drained smoothly without the bathtub drain outlet coming into contact with the floor, which could weaken the drainage force or prevent drainage. [3] In the bathtub described in either [1] or [2] above, the opening diameter of the bathtub drain is smaller than 40 mm. Because the opening diameter of the bathtub drain is smaller than 40 mm, the drainage flow rate of the bathtub drain does not exceed the drainage flow rate of the bathroom drain, and hot water drained from the bathtub drain into the bathroom drain is less likely to spread on the bathroom floor. [4] In the bathtub described in any of [1] to [3] above, the bathtub drain is equipped with a drain plug that can be opened and closed from inside the bathtub body. Because the drain plug can be opened and closed from inside the bathtub body, it can be easily opened to drain the hot and cold water stored in the bathtub body. In particular, when the bathtub body is hung near the bathroom wall, even if the gap between the bathroom wall and the bathtub is small and the bathtub drain is located in a position that is out of reach of bathers, the drain plug can be opened and closed from inside the bathtub body, making it easy to open and close.

[0010] [5] In the bathtub described in any one of [1] to [4] above, the bathtub body has a through hole that forms the bathtub drain outlet and a reinforcing member that reinforces the outer edge of the through hole. The reinforcing member prevents deformation of the through hole. Therefore, when a water-permeable member is attached to the through hole, it is less likely to come off the bathtub body. [6] In the bathtub described in any of [1] to [5] above, the bathtub drain outlet comprises a through hole formed in the bathtub body and a water-permeable member having a water-permeable part body inserted into the through hole, and the inner diameter of the through hole is smaller than the outer diameter of the water-permeable body. This bathtub can reduce the gap between the through hole and the water-permeable member, so that the water-permeable member attached to the through hole is less likely to come off the bathtub body. [7] The bathroom of the present disclosure has a floor, and the floor has a bathroom drain located on the side where the bathtub drain is located when the bathtub described in any of [1] to [6] above is hung and filled with hot water. In this bathroom, the bathroom drain can be located on the floor near the bathtub drain of the bathtub, so that hot water drained from the bathtub drain can flow into the bathroom drain before spreading on the bathroom floor. [8] The bathroom described in [7] above has an entrance and an exit, and the bathroom drain is located on the wall opposite the entrance. The hot water drained from the bathtub drain flows into the bathroom drain located on the wall opposite the entrance, so when the hot water is drained from the bathtub drain, it does not splash toward the entrance or onto people in the bathroom. This bathroom has a good appearance because the bathroom drain is located on the wall opposite the entrance.

[0011] <Embodiment 1> Embodiments 1 and 2 embodying the bathtub and bathroom of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. The bathtub 10 of embodiment 1 is placed in a bathroom 50, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The bathroom 50 includes walls W1, W2, W3, and W4, a ceiling C, and a floor F. The floor F is rectangular in plan view. The walls W1 and W2 are erected facing each other along a pair of short sides of the floor F. The walls W3 and W4 are erected facing each other along a pair of long sides of the floor F. The bathroom 50 includes an entrance E provided in wall W4. The entrance E is used by bathers and others to travel between the bathroom and an adjacent changing room (not shown). The entrance E has a sliding door D that can be opened and closed.

[0012] As shown in FIG. 2, floor F has a bathroom drain outlet 80. Bathroom drain outlet 80 is provided on floor F on the side of wall W3 facing entrance E. Bathroom drain outlet 80 has a drain pit 81, a drain strainer 83, a water seal cylinder 85, a hair catcher (not shown), and a drain trap (not shown). Drain pit 81 has a square-shaped upper outer periphery in plan view. In plan view, one side of the square-shaped upper outer periphery of drain pit 81 extends along the lower edge of wall W3. Drain pit 81 is recessed below floor F. In plan view, the outer shape of drain strainer 83 is approximately square and slightly smaller than the upper outer periphery of drain pit 81. Drain strainer 83 is placed on the upper outer periphery of drain pit 81 and is removable. Hot water flows into bathroom drain outlet 80 from floor F through the gap between the upper outer periphery of drain pit 81 and drain strainer 83. Floor F has a slight water gradient so that hot water flows toward bathroom drain outlet 80. Water seal cylinder 85 is cylindrical. In plan view, water seal cylinder 85 is connected to the center of the bottom of drain pit 81 and extends downward.

[0013] As shown in FIG. 1, bathroom 50 is equipped with a shower apparatus 60. Shower apparatus 60 is arranged on wall W1. When viewed from behind, shower apparatus 60 is located in the center of wall W1. Shower apparatus 60 has a faucet 61, an overhead shower 63, and a hand shower 65. Shower apparatus 60 is connected to a water supply pipe and a hot water supply pipe (not shown) inside wall W1. Faucet 61 is a mixer faucet. Faucet 61 can adjust the amount of water, adjust the temperature by mixing hot and cold water, stop the water discharge, and switch the flow path. Faucet 61 has a water discharge pipe 61A. Hot and cold water discharged from shower apparatus 60 arranged in bathroom 50 is referred to as hot and cold water, regardless of temperature, mixing ratio, etc.

[0014] The overhead shower 63 is located above the faucet 61. The overhead shower 63 is connected to the faucet 61 via piping 67. The piping 67 extends vertically upward from the faucet 61 along the surface of the wall W1 and is bent at its upper end in a direction away from the wall W1. The overhead shower 63 is located at the tip of this piping 67. The hand shower 65 is connected to the faucet 61 via a hose 69. The hand shower 65 can be used freely and movable within the length of the hose 69. The shower device 60 can discharge hot or cold water by selecting one of the discharge pipe 61A of the faucet 61, the overhead shower 63, or the hand shower 65.

[0015] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the bathroom 50 can be fitted with a bathtub 10 (described later) in a position close to the wall W3 in a detachable manner. When the bathtub 10 is fitted to the bathroom 50, a space is formed on the wall W4 side where the bather can wash their body. The bathroom 50 can be used with the bathtub 10 removed. By removing the bathtub 10, the bathroom 50 can be used as a shower room or the like.

[0016] Two hanging members 70 are provided on each of the opposing walls W1 and W2. Each hanging member 70 is shaped like a J-shaped hook in a side view, opening upward, and is fixed to each of the walls W1 and W2. The two hanging members 70 provided on the wall W1 side are below the faucet 61 and are spaced apart horizontally. The distance between the two hanging members 70 fixed to the wall W1 is slightly wider than the length of the upper ends of the third and fourth side wall portions 23 and 24 of the bathtub body 20, which will be described later. The two hanging members 70 fixed to the wall W2 side are positioned opposite the two hanging members 70 fixed to the wall W1, and are fixed at the same height and at the same distance as the two hanging members 70 on the wall W1 side.

[0017] The bathtub 10 is hung in the bathroom 50 by hooking four loop portions 41 (described later) onto the hook-shaped portions of four hanging members 70 provided on the walls W1 and W2. The bathtub 10 is positioned close to the wall W3. When the bathtub 10 is hung in the bathroom 50, the second side wall portion 22, which is provided with the bathtub drain outlet 30 (described later), is positioned on the wall W3 side. The bathtub 10 can be attached to and detached from the bathroom 50.

[0018] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the bathtub 10 comprises a bathtub body 20 and two ropes 40. The bathtub body 20 is formed by cutting and welding a single sheet. The sheet has a two-layer structure in which polyester fabric and polyurethane film are laminated. The polyester fabric has excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance. The polyester fabric is a plain weave with high tensile strength. The polyurethane film is impermeable and has excellent water resistance. The sheet is flexible. The sheet has little stretchability. The bathtub body 20 is formed so that the polyester fabric is on the outside and the polyurethane film is on the inside.

[0019] The bathtub body 20 is used by filling it with hot water while hanging by hooking the loop portions 41 onto each of the hanging members 70. The bathtub body 20 has a rectangular shape in a plan view when filled with hot water.

[0020] The bathtub body 20 has four side walls 21, 22, 23, and 24. The first side wall 21 and the second side wall 22 extend downward from a pair of opposing long sides in a plan view. The third side wall 23 and the fourth side wall 24 extend downward from a pair of opposing short sides in a plan view. Both end edges of the third side wall 23 and the fourth side wall 24 are continuous with both end edges of the first side wall 21 and the second side wall 22.

[0021] The bathtub body 20 has folded portions 25 formed by folding the upper edge of each of the first side wall portion 21 and the second side wall portion 22 outward to form a cylindrical shape. Each folded portion 25 is formed over the entire upper edge of the first side wall portion 21 and the second side wall portion 22. Both ends of each folded portion 25 are open. The bathtub body 20 has folded portions 26 formed by folding the upper edge of each of the third side wall portion 23 and the fourth side wall portion 24 outward to form a cylindrical shape. Each folded portion 26 is formed over the entire upper edge of the third side wall portion 23 and the fourth side wall portion 24.

[0022] Two ropes 40 are inserted into the folded portions 25 formed on the first side wall portion 21 and the second side wall portion 22. Each rope 40 reinforces the bathtub body 20 by being inserted into each folded portion 25. Both ends of each rope 40 extend outward from both ends of each folded portion 25 of the bathtub body 20. Both ends of each rope 40 extending outward from both end openings of each folded portion 25 of the bathtub body 20 are sewn near the opening of the folded portion 25 and to the tip to form a loop portion 41. Each rope 40 is sewn to the bathtub body 20 inside both end openings of each folded portion 25 of the bathtub body 20.

[0023] The bathtub 10 is suspended in the bathroom 50 by hooking the loops 41 formed at both ends of each rope 40 onto four hanging members 70 fixed to the walls W1 and W2. When the bathtub 10 is suspended in the bathroom 50, the second side wall 22, on which the bathtub drain outlet 30 (described below) is provided, is positioned on the wall W3 side. In other words, when the bathtub 10 is suspended and filled with hot water, the bathroom floor F of the bathroom 50 has a bathroom drain outlet 80 on the side where the bathtub drain outlet 30 is located, as shown in Figure 2.

[0024] The bathtub 10 deforms when filled with hot water while hanging by hooking the loop portion 41 to the hanging member 70. As shown in Figure 1, when filled with hot water, the central underside of the bathtub body 20 comes into contact with the floor F. Because the bathtub body 20 is formed from a sheet with little elasticity, the bathtub 10 maintains its boat-shaped shape to some extent when filled with hot water. When filled with hot water, the bathtub 10 supports most of the load on the floor F, which simplifies the reinforcement structure of the walls W1 and W2 compared to when the bathtub is supported only by the walls W1 and W2. The bathtub 10 can be freely changed in shape, such as when folded, unfolded, or filled with hot water.

[0025] As shown in Figures 3 to 6, the bathtub body 20 has a bathtub drain outlet 30. The bathtub drain outlet 30 is equipped with a drain plug 36 that is opened and closed from inside the bathtub body 20. The bathtub drain outlet 30 is provided in the second side wall portion 22. When the bathtub body 20 is hung in the bathroom 50 and used to fill it with hot and cold water, the bathtub drain outlet 30 is provided so as to be located above and away from the floor F of the bathroom 50 and close to the floor F of the bathroom 50 (see Figure 1). As shown in Figure 6, the bathtub body 20 has a bathtub drain outlet member 30A with a drain plug 36 attached to a circular through-hole 22H formed in the second side wall portion 22.

[0026] As shown in Figures 4 to 6, the bathtub drain member 30A includes a water passage member 31, a fixing member 33, and a plug member 35. The water passage member 31 is made of resin. As shown in Figures 5 and 6, the water passage member 31 includes a water passage body 31A and a flange 31B. The water passage body 31A and flange 31B are integrally formed. The water passage body 31A is cylindrical and has a threaded outer surface. The outer diameter of the water passage body 31A is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the through hole 22H formed in the second side wall 22 of the bathtub body 20. The inner diameter of the water passage body 31A is 20 mm. The inner diameter of the water passage body 31A corresponds to the opening diameter of the bathtub drain 30. The flange 31B extends radially from one outer peripheral end of the water passage body 31A relative to the central axis of the water passage body 31A. The outer diameter of the flange 31B is larger than the inner diameter of the through hole 22H formed in the second side wall 22 of the bathtub body 20.

[0027] The fixing member 33 is made of resin. As shown in FIG. 6, the fixing member 33 comprises a fixing portion main body 33A, a flange 33B, and three protruding pieces 33C. The fixing portion main body 33A, the flange 33B, and each of the protruding pieces 33C are integrally formed. The fixing portion main body 33A is cylindrical and has a threaded inner surface. The flange 33B extends radially from one outer end of the fixing portion main body 33A toward the central axis of the fixing portion main body 33A. The outer edge of the flange 33B is circular. The outer diameter of the flange 33B is larger than the inner diameter of the through hole 22H formed in the second side wall portion 22 of the bathtub body 20. Each of the protruding pieces 33C extends continuously from the flange 33B along the central axis of the fixing portion main body 33A, continuing from the outer peripheral surface of the fixing portion main body 33A. The protruding pieces 33C are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the fixing portion main body 33A.

[0028] The plug member 35 is made of flexible resin. As shown in Figures 4 to 6, the plug member 35 includes a drain plug 36, a fixing portion 37, and a connecting portion 38. The drain plug 36, the fixing portion 37, and the connecting portion 38 are integrally formed. The drain plug 36 has a lid portion 36A, an insertion portion 36B, and a knob portion 36C. The lid portion 36A is disc-shaped. The insertion portion 36B is tapered and cylindrical, and protrudes from one side of the lid portion 36A. The maximum diameter of the insertion portion 36B is approximately equal to the inner diameter of the water passage portion main body 31A of the water passage member 31. The knob portion 36C is a rectangular flat plate, one short side of which is continuous with the outer peripheral edge of the lid portion 36A. The fixing portion 37 is an annular flat plate. The inner diameter of the fixing portion 37 is approximately equal to the inner diameter of the through hole 22H formed in the second side wall portion 22 of the bathtub body 20. The connecting portion 38 is a strip-shaped flat plate, and connects the outer peripheral edge of the fixing portion 37 to the outer peripheral edge on the side opposite to the part where the knob portion 36C of the lid portion 36A is continuous.

[0029] As shown in Figure 6, the bathtub drain outlet member 30A is formed by passing the water passage portion main body 31A of the water passage member 31 through a through hole 22H formed in the second side wall 22 of the bathtub body 20 and through the fixing portion 37 of the plug member 35 arranged inside the bathtub body 20 in alignment with the through hole 22H. In this state, the fixing member 33 is screwed and tightened from the outside of the bathtub body 20 into the water passage portion main body 31A of the water passage member 31 that protrudes outside the bathtub body 20. In this way, the bathtub drain outlet member 30A is attached to the second side wall 22 of the bathtub body 20. The bathtub drain outlet member 30A attached to the second side wall 22 of the bathtub body 20 forms the bathtub drain 30.

[0030] The drain plug 36 can close the bathtub drain outlet 30 by inserting the insertion portion 36B into the water passage portion main body 31A of the water passage member 31 from inside the bathtub body 20 until the lid portion 36A contacts the flange portion 31B of the water passage member 31. The drain plug 36 can open the bathtub drain outlet 30 by pinching the knob portion 36C from inside the bathtub body 20 and removing the insertion portion 36B from the water passage portion main body 31A. Once removed from the bathtub drain outlet 30, the drain plug 36 is suspended by the connecting portion 38 within the bathtub body 20 below the water passage member 31, as shown in FIG. 5.

[0031] <Embodiment 2> As shown in Figures 7 to 9, the bathtub body 120 of embodiment 2 differs from embodiment 1 in the presence of the reinforcing member 39 and the inner diameter D2 of the through hole 122H. The other configurations are the same as embodiment 1. Configurations similar to embodiment 1 are given the same symbols and detailed descriptions are omitted. The bathroom 50 is similar to embodiment 1, so detailed descriptions are omitted.

[0032] The second side wall 122 of the bathtub body 120 forms a through hole 122H. The outer edge of the through hole 122H has a reinforcing member 39 for reinforcement. The reinforcing member 39 is annular in shape. The outer diameter of the reinforcing member 39 is equal to the outer diameter of the flange 33B of the fixing member 33. The inner diameter of the reinforcing member 39 is approximately equal to the inner diameter D2 of the through hole 122H. The reinforcing member 39 is positioned so that the outer edge of the through hole 122H and the inner edge of the reinforcing member 39 match, and is heat-welded to the outside of the bathtub body 120 via a heat-welding member 39A of the same shape as the reinforcing member 39. The material of the reinforcing member 39 is a polyester woven fabric of the same quality as the outside of the bathtub body 120.

[0033] The inner diameter D2 of the through hole 122H formed in the bathtub body 120 is smaller than the outer diameter D1 of the water passage body 31A, as shown in Figure 9. The outer diameter D1 of the water passage body 31A is 26.4 mm, and the inner diameter D2 of the through hole 122H is 26.0 mm.

[0034] As explained above, the bathtub 10 of the first and second embodiments is equipped with a sheet-made bathtub body 20, 120 that is used to store hot and cold water while suspended, and the bathtub body 20, 120 has a bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 for draining the stored hot and cold water. By having the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 in the bathtub body 20, 120, the bathtub 10 can easily drain the hot and cold water stored in the bathtub body 20, 120.

[0035] In the bathtub 10 of embodiments 1 and 2, when the bathtub body 20, 120 is hung in the bathroom 50 and filled with hot and cold water, the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is located above and away from the floor F of the bathroom 50. In this bathtub 10, because the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is located above and away from the floor F of the bathroom 50, the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 does not come into contact with the floor F, causing the drainage force to weaken or preventing drainage, and water can be drained smoothly.

[0036] In bathtub 10 of embodiments 1 and 2, the opening diameter of bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is 20 mm. In this bathtub 10, the opening diameter of bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is smaller than 40 mm, so the drainage flow rate of bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 does not exceed the drainage flow rate of bathroom drain outlet 80, and hot water drained from bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 and flowing into bathroom drain outlet 80 of bathroom 50 is less likely to spread onto floor F of bathroom 50.

[0037] In the bathtub 10 of embodiments 1 and 2, the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is equipped with a drain plug 36 that can be opened and closed from inside the bathtub body 20, 120. Because the drain plug 36 can be opened and closed from inside the bathtub body 20, 120, the bathtub 10 allows the drain plug 36 to be easily opened when draining hot and cold water stored in the bathtub body 20, 120. In particular, even if the bathtub body 20, 120 is hung near the wall W3 of the bathroom 50 and the gap between the wall W3 of the bathroom 50 and the bathtub 10 is small, and the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is located in a position that is out of reach of bathers and the like, the drain plug 36 can be opened and closed easily from inside the bathtub body 20, 120.

[0038] In the second embodiment, the bathtub body 120 has a through-hole 122H that forms the bathtub drain outlet 130, and has a reinforcing member 39 that reinforces the outer edge of the through-hole 122H. The reinforcing member 39 prevents deformation of the through-hole 122H in this bathtub 10. Therefore, even when the bathtub 10 is filled with hot and cold water and water pressure is applied, deformation of the through-hole 122H is prevented, and the water-passing member 31 is less likely to come off the bathtub body 120.

[0039] In the second embodiment, the bathtub drain port 130 includes a through-hole 122H formed in the bathtub body 120, and a water-permeable member 31 having a water-permeable portion main body 31A inserted into the through-hole 122H. The inner diameter D2 of through-hole 122H is smaller than the outer diameter D1 of water-permeable body 31A. This bathtub 10 can reduce the gap between through-hole 122H and water-permeable member 31, so that water-permeable member 31 attached to through-hole 122H is less likely to come off bathtub body 120 even when filled with hot and cold water and subjected to water pressure.

[0040] The bathroom 50 of embodiments 1 and 2 has a floor F, which has a bathroom drain outlet 80 located on the side where the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is located when the bathtub 10 is suspended and filled with hot water. In this bathroom 50, the bathroom drain outlet 80 can be located on the floor F near the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 of the bathtub 10, so that hot water drained from the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 can flow into the bathroom drain outlet 80 before spreading on the floor F of the bathroom 50.

[0041] The bathroom 50 in embodiments 1 and 2 has an entrance, and the bathroom drain outlet 80 is provided on the wall W3 side opposite the entrance E. Hot water drained from the bathtub drain outlets 30, 130 flows into the bathroom drain outlet 80 formed on the wall W3 side opposite the entrance E, so when hot water is drained from the bathtub drain outlet 30, it does not splash towards the entrance E or onto people in the bathroom 50. This bathroom 50 has a good appearance because the bathroom drain outlet 80 is provided on the wall W3 side opposite the entrance E.

[0042] The present disclosure is not limited to the first and second embodiments described above with reference to the drawings, and the following embodiments are also included within the technical scope of the present disclosure. (1) In the first and second embodiments, the bathtub body 20, 120 has one bathtub drain outlet 30, 130. However, the bathtub body may have multiple bathtub drain outlets. (2) In the first and second embodiments, the bathtub drain 30, 130 is located above and away from the floor F when the bathtub 10 is in use, with the bathtub body 20, 120 suspended in the bathroom 50 and filled with hot and cold water. In contrast, the bathtub drain may be in contact with the floor when in use. (3) In the first and second embodiments, the opening diameter of the bathtub drain outlet 30, 130 is 20 mm. The opening diameter of the bathtub drain outlet may be smaller than 40 mm, and may be between 15 mm and 35 mm. (4) In the first and second embodiments, the drain plug 36 is opened and closed from inside the bathtub body 20, 120. However, the drain plug may be opened and closed from outside the bathtub body.
