Abstract

To achieve a technique capable of improving convenience in the case of using business card information already registered in a database in registration work of the business card information in the database by a user.SOLUTION: A business card information registration support system 1 includes: a character information reading part 3 for reading character information described on an object business card; a candidate business card determination part 4 for searching a database 2 to determine a candidate business card; an image generation part 5 for generating a comparison image in which an object business card image and a candidate business card image are adjacently arranged; and an image display part 6 for displaying the image generated by the image generation part 5 on a display screen 24. The image generation part 5 displays a place where character information of the object business card read by the character information reading part 3 does not match character information represented by character data included in business card information of the candidate business card in the comparison image in a mode different from a place where these two pieces of character information match.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
