To provide an information processing system capable of easily grasping the weight distribution of a linear structure.SOLUTION: An information processing system 10 comprises a position information acquisition unit 250, a shape estimation unit 251, an input information acquisition unit 253, a weight distribution estimation unit 254, and a display control unit 255. The position information acquisition unit 250 acquires the position information of the cable with a catenary shape. The shape estimation unit 251 estimates the cable shape from the position information acquired by the position information acquisition unit 250. The input information acquisition unit 253 acquires the information of the tension acting on one end of the cable. The weight distribution estimation unit 254 estimates the weight distribution of the cable 81 based on the shape and tension of the cable.
