Abstract

To control the falling direction of raw materials while suppressing the enlargement of the entire facility.SOLUTION: A furnace top apparatus 1 comprises: a furnace top hopper having an upper part provided with a charge port; a movable plate 16 provided at the outside of the furnace top hopper and also above the charge port, and capable of moving the position of a plate face 46; and a driving mechanism 18 moving the movable plate 16 from a first position at which at least a part of raw materials collides against the plate face 46 to a second position positioned above a falling route of the raw materials more than the first position, and in which the angle relative to the horizontal plane of the plate face 46 is smaller than that in the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
