Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a solenoid valve mechanism for a driving dynamics system. The subject of the present invention is also a driving dynamics system for a vehicle, which has such a solenoid valve mechanism. [Background technology]

[0002] In a driving dynamics system which performs a driving dynamics control function and / or a brake control function, a solenoid valve mechanism with solenoid valves is used which control the brake fluid pressure for the individual wheels or brake circuits. For this purpose, a control signal is generated by the control electronics and output to the solenoid valves of the solenoid valve mechanism. The solenoid valves are usually screwed or pressed into a hydraulic block which provides the various hydraulic paths. Furthermore, a sensor device including at least one pressure sensor and a drive device for a hydraulic pump may be connected to the hydraulic block. The control electronics generate unintended parasitic electromagnetic noise, which is partially wired from the control electronics to loads such as pump drives, solenoid valves, sensor devices, etc., and there, via the connected brake piping, may lead to an increase in the EMC radiation (EMC: electromagnetic compatibility) of the vehicle. The usual countermeasure consists in a low impedance feedback of such noise from the hydraulic block to the source, in this example to the control electronics, in order to prevent such noise from appearing in the vehicle. This is usually solved using mechanical contacts, which must be developed at high cost, such as springs, contact tongues or even screw connections to the solenoid valves or the contacts themselves, to create a low impedance connection between the hydraulic block and the control electronics, which can feed back noise.

[0003] From US Pat. No. 5,999,336 a housing assembly with improved electromagnetic compatibility is known. An electric module of an electrified vehicle, such as a battery pack, a control module, etc., can include components, such as a battery assembly, a bus bar, an electric battery control module, etc., and a housing assembly in which each component is contained. The housing assembly can include a polymer-based substrate and a metal film designed to improve the electromagnetic compatibility of the polymer-based substrate. A compression limiter can be positioned in an opening of the housing assembly and can be designed to establish a conductive path between the metal film and a separate metal component, such as a mounting member, of the electric module. [0004] [Patent Document 1] German Patent Application Publication No. 102019133083A1 Summary of the Invention

[0005] The solenoid valve mechanism for a driving dynamics system having the features of independent claim 1 and the driving dynamics system for a vehicle having the features of claim 9 each have the advantage that at least one feedback path is created by means of a modified magnetic assembly, which reduces the overall impedance between the control electronics and the hydraulic block and improves the overall EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) of the solenoid valve mechanism and the corresponding driving dynamics system. The lower the impedance of this at least one feedback path between the hydraulic block and the control electronics, the more noise can be fed back from the hydraulic block to the control electronics for compensation.

[0006] An embodiment of the present invention provides a solenoid valve mechanism for a driving dynamics system, the solenoid valve mechanism including a hydraulic block, a plurality of solenoid valves each including a valve dome and a magnetic assembly, and a control electronics. Each magnetic assembly includes a housing and a winding support disposed in the housing, on which a coil winding connected to the control electronics via a connecting line is wound. A free space is formed between the housing and the winding support of each magnetic assembly. At this time, a filling device is fabricated to reduce the free space and increase a coupling capacitance formed between the coil winding, the housing, and the valve dome.

[0007] Furthermore, a driving dynamics system for a vehicle is proposed which comprises such a solenoid valve mechanism.

[0008] For example, the solenoid valve mechanism according to the invention can be used in driving dynamics control and / or brake control functions to feed back EMC noise from the hydraulic block to the control electronics and thereby reduce or eliminate it.

[0009] The coupling impedance of the solenoid valve is capacitive. This means that an increase in the coupling capacitance of the magnetic assembly of the solenoid valve leads to a reduction in the coupling impedance of the solenoid valve. Depending on the signal frequency of the noise from the control electronics, a coupling capacitance in picofaradays (pF) is already sufficient to reduce the coupling impedance of the individual solenoid valves. Modern designs of solenoid valves are optimized for an increased coupling capacitance between the coil winding and the housing, which here consists of a magnetically and electrically conducting material, preferably a metal, such as an iron alloy or steel, and the valve dome. The coupling capacitance of the magnetic assembly occurs between the coil winding and the inner and outer body or housing in which the coil winding is arranged.

[0010] Control electronics, in the present case, may be understood to be an electronic circuit including a wiring board and at least one electronic component for generating and outputting a control signal to the solenoid valve of the solenoid valve mechanism. Such a control signal is usually provided as an electric current through a coil of the respective solenoid valve, resulting in a magnetic force that moves a movable armature inside the valve dome of the solenoid valve.

[0011] A hydraulic block is understood in this context to be a metal block, preferably made of aluminum, in which a number of hydraulic lines or hydraulic passages and connecting bores are drilled. Solenoid valves or sensors, such as pressure or temperature sensors, or hydraulic lines can be screwed or pressed into the individual receiving bores. Furthermore, a drive for a hydraulic pump can be connected to the hydraulic block.

[0012] Advantageous refinements of the solenoid valve mechanism for driving dynamics systems as defined in the independent claim 1 are possible by the measures and developments specified in the dependent claims.

[0013] It is particularly preferred that the increased coupling capacitance of the magnetic assemblies of the individual solenoid valves can respectively cause a low impedance feedback of the noise signals from the hydraulic block to the control electronics, so that several electrically parallel feedback paths can be created between the hydraulic block and the control electronics. Since a typical driving dynamics and / or brake control system often has 8 to 12 solenoid valves, the total coupling impedance corresponds to the feedback of the parallel circuit of the coupling impedances of all solenoid valves. Accordingly, 8 to 12 coupling capacitances are parasitically generated in the coil windings of the solenoid valves used. The total coupling impedance results from the parallel circuit of the coupling impedances of the solenoid valves, which in total results in a coupling impedance of the feedback paths that is lower than the coupling impedance of only one spring or screw or clamp or plug connection of a conventional solenoid valve mechanism.

[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the solenoid valve mechanism, the filling device can include a filling material having a predetermined dielectric constant much greater than 1. For example, a glue, silicone or a heat conducting medium can be used as the filling material, which can be inserted as a liquid into the free space and hardened.

[0015] In an alternative embodiment of the solenoid valve mechanism, the filling device can include a sleeve that can be inserted into the free space between the coil winding and the housing. This sleeve can be fitted, for example, after completion of the winding process of the coil winding on the winding support. The sleeve can preferably be made of a plastic material with a dielectric constant much greater than 1.

[0016] In another alternative embodiment of the solenoid valve mechanism, the winding structure of the coil winding can be modified. For example, additional edge areas of the coil winding can enlarge the overall cross section of the coil winding to form a filling device, whereby at the edge areas of the coil winding the winding is located very close to the housing, which can reduce the free space and clearly increase the coupling capacitance. The additional edge areas of the coil winding can have a trapezoidal or rectangular cross section, for example. Furthermore, in order to further increase the coupling capacitance, in addition to modifying the winding structure, a filling material with a predetermined dielectric constant much larger than 1 can be inserted into the remaining free space.

[0017] In an embodiment of the solenoid valve mechanism according to the invention, the coupling capacitance of the individual solenoid valves is increased by design, for example by filling the free space between the coil winding and the housing, or by modifying the winding structure of the coil winding to minimize spacing and to position the coil winding very close to the housing in the edge regions of the coil winding.

[0018] Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and will be explained in detail in the following description, in which like reference numbers represent components or elements performing the same or similar functions. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Diagram 3] 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a second embodiment of a magnetic assembly of a solenoid valve of the solenoid valve mechanism according to the present invention shown in FIG. 1. [Figure 4] 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing a third embodiment of a magnetic assembly of a solenoid valve of the solenoid valve mechanism according to the present invention shown in FIG. 1. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] As can be seen from Figures 1 to 4, the illustrated embodiment of a solenoid valve mechanism 1 according to the invention for a driving dynamics system comprises a hydraulic block 3, a number of solenoid valves 10, 10A, 10B, 10C, each of which comprises a valve dome 11 and a magnetic assembly 12, 12A, 12B, 12C, and a control electronics 8. Each magnetic assembly 12, 12A, 12B, 12C comprises a housing 13 and a winding support 14 arranged in the housing 13, on which a coil winding 15 is wound, which is connected to the control electronics 8 via a connecting line 9. Between the housing 13 and the winding support 14 of each magnetic assembly 12, 12A, 12B, 12C, respectively, a free space 16 is formed. A filling device 18 here reduces the free space 16 and increases the coupling capacitance formed between the coil winding 15, the housing 13 and the valve dome 11.

[0021] The solenoid valve mechanism 1 is preferably applied in a driving dynamics system for performing a driving dynamics control function and / or a brake control function. As is further apparent from Fig. 1, the control electronics 8 includes, in the illustrated embodiment, a circuit board 8A and a number of electronic components 8B for generating and outputting a control signal to the solenoid valves 10, 10A, 10B, 10C of the solenoid valve mechanism 1 via a connection line 9. This control signal is provided in the illustrated embodiment as a current through a coil winding 15 of each solenoid valve 10, 10A, 10B, 10C, resulting in a magnetic force moving a movable armature, not shown in more detail, inside a valve dome 11 of the solenoid valve 10, 10A, 10B, 10C.

[0022] As can be seen further from FIG. 1, a drive 5, which is implemented as an electric motor 5A for a fluid pump (not shown in more detail), is connected to the hydraulic block 3. The electric motor 5A is connected to the control electronics 8 via a connection line 9. In the illustrated embodiment, the hydraulic block 3 is implemented as an aluminum block, which is provided with a number of hydraulic paths or hydraulic passages and connecting bores (not shown in more detail). The solenoid valves 10, 10A, 10B, 10C are pressed into the individual receiving bores. Furthermore, hydraulic lines 7, which connect, for example, wheel brakes (not shown in more detail) with the fluid passages of the hydraulic block 3, are screwed into the hydraulic block 3.

[0023] 1, the illustrated partial view of the solenoid valve mechanism 1 shows the magnetic assemblies 12, 12A, 12B, 12C of the four solenoid valves 10, 10A, 10B, 10C, where the increased coupling capacitance of the individual magnetic assemblies 12, 12A, 12B, 12C respectively causes a low impedance feedback of noise signals from the hydraulic block 3 to the control electronics 8, thereby resulting in multiple electrically parallel feedback paths between the hydraulic block 3 and the control electronics 8.

[0024] As is further evident from FIG. 2, the filling device 18 contains a filling material 18A having a predetermined dielectric constant much greater than 1 in the illustrated first embodiment of the magnetic assembly 12A for the solenoid valve 10A. In the illustrated embodiment, the filling material 18A is silicone that is inserted as a liquid into the free space 16 and hardened after the coil winding 15 is attached to the winding support and the winding support 14 is inserted into the hood-like housing 13 made of steel. The hood-like housing 13 has a central bushing that at least partially surrounds the valve dome 11. After the insertion of the filling material 18A, the annular bottom surface is pressed into the open end of the housing 13. The magnetic assembly is then fitted or press-fitted onto the valve dome 11.

[0025] In an alternative embodiment, not shown, instead of silicone, an adhesive or a heat conductive medium or other suitable material can be inserted into the free space 16 as a filler material 18A.

[0026] As is further apparent from Fig. 3, the filling device 18, in the illustrated second embodiment of the magnetic assembly 12B for the solenoid valve 10B, includes a sleeve 18B inserted in the free space 16 between the coil winding 15 and the housing 13. The sleeve 18B is made of a plastic material, the dielectric constant of which is much greater than unity.

[0027] As is further evident from Fig. 4, the filling device 18 includes a coil winding 15 with a modified winding structure in the illustrated third embodiment of the magnetic assembly 12C for the solenoid valve 10C. This coil winding 15 includes an additional edge section 18C, which enlarges the overall cross section of the coil winding 15 to form the filling device 18. As is further evident from Fig. 4, the additional edge section 18C of the coil winding 15 has a trapezoidal cross section in the illustrated embodiment, which is shown by dashed lines. As is further evident from Fig. 4, the additional edge section 18C of the coil winding 15 at least partially protrudes from the winding support 14, reducing the free space 16 between the coil winding 15 and the housing 13.

[0028] In an alternative embodiment, not shown, of the magnetic assembly 12, the additional edge section 18C has a rectangular cross section. [Explanation of symbols]
