Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for detecting a target antigen in a sample, the apparatus comprising a container, a carbon nanomaterial, and an antibody conjugated to a marker, wherein the antibody is immobilized on the surface of the carbon nanomaterial, the antibody having a binding site for the target antigen, and when the target antigen binds to the binding site of the antibody, the antibody conjugated to the marker is released from the carbon nanomaterial, and the marker-labeled antibody bound to the target antigen generates a signal.
