Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a strap connecting device for connecting a strap to be attached to a mobile terminal such as a tablet or a smartphone. [Background technology]
[0002] In this type of strap connection device, when the strap connected to the mobile terminal is carried while hanging over the shoulder, a long strap such as a shoulder strap is used. In this case, when the mobile terminal is placed on a desk for work, the long strap gets in the way and is therefore detached from the mobile terminal.
[0003] Therefore, in the past, in order to connect or disconnect such long straps, a connecting device called a snap hook was used to connect them (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The snap hook has a strong hook member and a locking member that is biased by a spring to close the opening of the hook member, and when connecting the strap, the locking member is pushed and moved against the biasing force of the spring to open the opening of the hook member and connect or disconnect the strap. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-48922 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] In the conventional configuration described above, when connecting or disconnecting the strap, it is necessary to push and move the locking member against the biasing force of the spring to open the opening of the hook member, which requires a strong operating force. This configuration has the disadvantage that it is difficult for people with little strength, such as children, to operate, and there is room for improvement.
[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a strap connecting device that allows easy connection and disconnection of a strap. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The strap connection device of the present invention is characterized in that it is a strap connection device for connecting straps for mobile terminals, and comprises a first connection member to which one strap is connected and a second connection member to which the other strap is connected that are connectable and separable, the first connection member comprising a first member side main body portion to which the one strap is connected and an engaging protrusion that protrudes from the first member side main body portion and has a tip end that is wider than the base end, the second connection member comprising a second member side main body portion to which the other strap is connected, and a locking mechanism that, when the tip end of the engaging protrusion is able to insert and has inserted, moves the engaging protrusion in a lateral direction that intersects the insertion direction and rotates it around an axis along the insertion direction to lock the wide portion of the tip end and prevent it from coming loose.
[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to connect and disconnect a first connecting member to which one strap is connected and a second connecting member to which the other strap is connected, and to disconnect a long strap from a mobile terminal. When connecting, the tip of the engagement protrusion provided on the first connecting member is inserted into the locking mechanism, and by performing a lateral movement operation that intersects with the insertion direction and a rotation operation around an axis along the insertion direction, a locked state is achieved in which disconnection is prevented.
[0009] In other words, it is only necessary to insert the engaging protrusion, move it sideways, and rotate it, and connection can be easily achieved without the need for cumbersome operations such as pushing and moving the operating member against the spring force and then connecting it to the other member.
[0010] In the present invention, it is preferable that the locking mechanism comprises an insertion portion that allows the tip of the engaging protrusion to insert and, when inserted, to move laterally in a direction intersecting the insertion direction, and a release prevention portion that allows the engaging protrusion to rotate around an axis along the insertion direction when moved laterally and that, when rotated, engages with the wide portion of the tip to prevent it from coming off.
[0011] With this configuration, the tip of the engaging protrusion is inserted into the insertion portion and moved laterally while rotating around the axis along the insertion direction, thereby preventing disengagement. After inserting the tip, it is only necessary to perform the operation of moving laterally and the operation of rotating, making the operation easy to perform.
[0012] In the present invention, it is preferable that the tip portion is formed in an approximately rectangular shape, and the insertion portion is formed in an approximately rectangular shape that allows the tip portion to insert and also allows the tip portion to move laterally along the longitudinal direction.
[0013] According to this configuration, the approximately rectangular tip is inserted into the approximately rectangular recess and then moved laterally along the longitudinal direction, so there is no risk of making a mistake in the direction of movement and the movement operation is easy to perform.
[0014] In the present invention, it is preferable that the insertion portion is configured as an insertion hole that passes through the second member side main body portion, and the anti-detachment portion is configured to engage with the other side of the second member side main body portion when the tip portion is inserted through the insertion portion from one side of the second member side main body portion, thereby preventing the anti-detachment portion from coming off.
[0015] According to this configuration, the tip of the engaging protrusion is inserted through the second member side main body portion and engages with the other side of the second member side main body portion, so the thickness of the second member side main body portion can be made thinner and more compact.
[0016] In the present invention, it is preferable that a step portion is formed on the other side surface of the second member side main body portion so as to be recessed from the outer surface, and that the tip portion is engaged with the step portion to prevent it from coming off.
[0017] According to this configuration, the step portion is recessed below the outer surface, so the tip of the engaging protrusion is positioned lower than the outer surface of the second member side main body portion by the amount of the step portion, thereby reducing the amount of outward protrusion and achieving further compactness.
[0018] In the present invention, it is preferable that the step portion be circular when viewed in the insertion direction so as to allow the engaging protrusion to rotate around an axis along the insertion direction when moved laterally.
[0019] According to this configuration, the tip of the engaging projection rotates along the circular step portion, so that the rotation operation can be performed smoothly and easily.
[0020] In the present invention, it is preferable that the anti-detachment portion is provided with a rotation control portion that controls relative rotation between the first connecting member and the second connecting member when the engaging protrusion is rotated to a predetermined rotation position.
[0021] According to this configuration, when the engaging protrusion rotates to the predetermined rotation position, the rotation is restricted by the rotation restricting portion, so that it is possible to prevent the connection from being released due to insufficient rotation in the connected state.
[0022] In the present invention, it is preferable that the rotation control portion is configured to control the relative rotation by engaging a locking protrusion formed on one of the wide portion of the tip portion and the locking surface of the anti-detachment portion with a locking recess formed on the other.
[0023] According to this configuration, when the engaging protrusion rotates to a predetermined rotation position, the locking protrusion moves while sliding relative to the other of the wide portion and the locking surface, and when it rotates to the predetermined rotation position, the locking protrusion enters and engages with the locking recess, thereby restricting rotation.
[0024] Therefore, the relative rotation between the first connecting member and the second connecting member can be effectively restricted by the simple structure of forming the convex portion and the concave portion.
[0025] In the present invention, it is preferable that, in a state in which the engaging projection is rotated, the strap on one side and the strap on the other side are connected in a state in which they extend substantially in a straight line.
[0026] According to this configuration, the strap on one side and the strap on the other side extend in an approximately straight line, so that when the strap connected to the mobile terminal is carried while slung over the shoulder, even if a load is applied to the connection point, the connection is maintained well with the relative rotation between the first connecting member and the second connecting member restricted, and there is no risk of the connection being accidentally released. [0028] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the strap connecting device according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the present invention is not limited to the following embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0029] In the following explanation, unless otherwise specified, the direction of arrow F in the figure is "forward," the direction of arrow B is "backward," the direction of arrow L is "left," and the direction of arrow R is "right." The direction of arrow U in the figure is "upward," and the direction of arrow D is "downward."
[0030] Fig. 1 shows a mobile terminal case to which a strap connection device according to the present invention is attached. The mobile terminal case includes a case member 1 that holds a tablet terminal T as a mobile terminal, and an input device 3 that has a keyboard 2 as an input section for performing input operations on the tablet terminal T. The case member 1 can be changed between an open state (the state shown in Fig. 1) in which the case member 1 stands upright relative to the input device 3, and a closed state (the state shown in Fig. 2) in which the screen of the tablet terminal T is aligned with the input device 3. The case member 1 is provided with a stand (not shown) that maintains the orientation of the case member 1 in the open state.
[0031] The case member 1 is made of an elastically deformable resin material and is configured to be able to hold the tablet terminal T in a state in which it surrounds the outer periphery. As shown in FIG. 1 , the case member 1 has an outer wall portion 5 and a holding portion 6 that is provided inside the outer wall portion 5 at a distance from the outer wall portion 5 and holds the outer periphery of the tablet terminal T. The outer wall portion 5 and the holding portion 6 are connected via a peripheral wall portion 7.
[0032] The outer wall portion 5 is located on the rear side of the tablet terminal T and is provided over substantially the entire surface of the case member 1 so as to support the back of the tablet terminal T. The holding portion 6 is provided over the entire outer periphery of the tablet terminal T so as to hold the tablet terminal T from the front side. The tablet terminal T is positioned between the outer wall portion 5 and the holding portion 6 and is held in a state that prevents it from coming off.
[0033] Input information from the keyboard 2 of the input device 3 is input to the tablet terminal T via wiring and an electronic board 9. Power is supplied to the tablet terminal T via an external connection terminal 10, and audio information is output from the tablet terminal T to the outside via an earphone terminal 11.
[0034] The input device 3 is provided with the keyboard 2 positioned at the front. Since the user operates the keyboard 2, the front side (F) corresponds to the user side. A case groove 16 is formed on the rear side of the input device 3, opposite the user across the keyboard 2, into which the lower end of the case member 1 is inserted to hold the case member 1 in a position that can be changed within a predetermined upright angle range. A terminal (not shown) is provided in the case groove 16 to electrically connect the case member 1 and the input device 3.
[0035] When the case member 1 is in a closed position so as to cover the top of the keyboard 2 of the input device 3, the front ends of the case member 1 and the input device 3 are connected together by being attracted to each other by the magnetic force of the magnets. As shown in FIG. 1 , magnets 39 are installed in the front end of the input device 3 at intervals in the left-right direction, and a magnet 40 is installed in a position facing the magnet 39 on the input device 3 side when the case member 1 is in the closed position. When the case member 1 is in the closed position, the front ends are connected together by the attractive force of the magnets 39, 40. The rear ends of the case member 1 are connected by a connecting member (not shown).
[0036] As shown in FIG. 2, strap holes 17 are formed at the four corners of the case member 1 for attaching a strap for hanging support.
[0037] 〔strap〕 As shown in Fig. 2, a long strap S is attached to the left and right strap holes 17 on the rear side of the four strap holes 17 on the case member 1. This strap S is a shoulder strap that is connected to the mobile terminal case and is used when carrying the mobile terminal while hanging it over the shoulder. This strap S has a belt portion (strap S1 on one side) that is worn by the user and a string portion (strap S2 on the other side) that is attached to the strap holes 17.
[0038] Since the strap S is long and difficult to handle when using the tablet terminal T on a desk, it is configured to be separated and managed separately. That is, the belt portion of the strap S (the other strap S2) is configured to be connectable and detachable at both longitudinal ends by strap connecting devices 20.
[0039] [Strap connection device] Next, the strap connecting device 20 will be described. As shown in Figures 2, 3, and 7, the strap connection device 20 is provided with a first connection member 21 to which the strap S1 on one side is connected and a second connection member 22 to which the strap S2 on the other side is connected, which can be connected and separated.
[0040] The first connecting member 21 is provided with a first member side main body portion 23 to which one side strap S1 is connected, and an engaging protrusion 26 that protrudes from the first member side main body portion 23 and has a tip end 25 that is wider than the base end 24.
[0041] The second connecting member 22 is provided with a second member side main body portion 27 to which the other side strap S2 is connected, and a locking mechanism 28 that, when the tip portion 25 of the engaging protrusion 26 is able to enter and has entered, engages the wide portion of the tip portion 25 to prevent it from coming off by performing a lateral movement operation that intersects with the entry direction of the engaging protrusion 26 and a rotation operation around an axis along the entry direction.
[0042] The locking mechanism 28 is provided with an insertion hole 29 as an entry portion into which the tip 25 of the engaging protrusion 26 can enter and which allows it to move laterally when inserted, and a release prevention portion 30 which allows the engaging protrusion 26 to rotate around the axis when it has moved laterally and which engages with the wide portion of the tip 25 when it has rotated to prevent it from coming off.
[0043] A specific configuration will be described below. 3 to 6, the first member side main body 23 of the first connecting member 21 is formed in a generally horizontally elongated plate shape, with one longitudinal end formed in an arc shape. An attachment hole 31 for connecting one side of the strap S1 is formed in the other longitudinal end of the first member side main body 23. This allows for connection of not only string-like straps but also band-like straps.
[0044] The engaging protrusion 26 of the first connecting member 21 has a base end 24 and a plate-like, approximately rectangular tip end 25. Both longitudinal end portions of tip end 25 are formed into a gentle arc shape. The base end 24 of the engaging protrusion 26 is formed into a cylindrical shape with a diameter smaller than the width of tip end 25 in the short direction.
[0045] The side of the first connecting member 21 opposite the engaging protrusion 26 is formed in an approximately flat surface, and the location where the mounting hole 31 is formed is shaped to bend in the opposite direction to the side where the engaging protrusion 26 is formed.
[0046] As shown in Figures 3 and 7 to 9, the second member side main body portion 27 of the second connecting member 22, like the first member side main body portion 23, is composed of a substantially horizontally elongated plate-like body, with one longitudinal end portion having an outer edge formed in an arc shape and the other longitudinal end portion formed in a square shape, and having an elongated mounting hole 32 formed therein for connecting the strap S2 on the other side.
[0047] A substantially rectangular insertion hole 29 is formed in the widthwise center of the second-member-side main body 27 as an insertion portion that allows the tip end 25 to enter and allows the tip end 25 to move laterally along the longitudinal direction. The insertion hole 29 is provided in a state that penetrates the second-member-side main body 27 from one side surface to the other side surface.
[0048] Both longitudinal end portions of the insertion hole 29 are formed in an arc shape with different radii of curvature. One longitudinal end portion 29a of the insertion hole 29 is formed in an arc shape with a radius of curvature that is approximately the same as the radius of curvature of the outer peripheral surface of the base end portion 24. On the other hand, the other longitudinal end portion 29b of the insertion hole 29 is formed in an arc shape with a radius of curvature that is approximately the same as the radius of curvature of both longitudinal end portions of the tip portion 25.
[0049] One side surface of the second-member-side main body portion 27 is formed as a flat surface. A step portion 33 is formed on the other side surface of the second-member-side main body portion 27 so as to be recessed from the outer surface. As shown in FIG. 7 , the step portion 33 is provided in a circular shape centered on an axis along the insertion direction of the tip portion 25. The step portion 33 has the same center as the center of curvature of the arc-shaped portion of one end portion 29a of the insertion hole 29 in the longitudinal direction.
[0050] 10, the tip portion 25 is configured to be able to be inserted into the insertion hole 29 at a position closer to the side of the insertion hole 29 where the mounting hole 32 is provided. At this time, the tip portion 25 is inserted and attached from one side surface side of the second connecting member 22 (see FIG. 10).
[0051] The insertion hole 29 is formed with its longitudinal direction aligned with the longitudinal direction of the second-member-side main body portion 27. In contrast, the tip portion 25 is formed with its longitudinal direction aligned with the longitudinal direction of the second-member-side main body portion 27. Therefore, when the tip portion 25 is inserted into the insertion hole 29, the longitudinal direction of the first connecting member 21 is changed by approximately 90 degrees with respect to the longitudinal direction of the second connecting member 22.
[0052] When tip portion 25 is inserted into insertion hole 29 and exposed on the other side surface to a position where tip portion 25 can ride up onto the surface of step portion 33, first connecting member 21 can be moved laterally to the side of insertion hole 29 opposite to the side where mounting hole 32 is provided. At this time, the wide portion of tip portion 25 moves laterally while riding up onto the surface of step portion 33 (see FIG. 11).
[0053] When tip portion 25 moves laterally toward the side of insertion hole 29 opposite to the side where mounting hole 32 is provided, base end 24 of engagement protrusion 26 abuts against the arc-shaped end of insertion hole 29 opposite to the side where mounting hole 32 is provided. In this state, first connecting member 21 can rotate about an axis along the insertion direction, i.e., the axis of base end 24. Base end 24 of engagement protrusion 26 can rotate while being guided by the arc-shaped end of insertion hole 29 opposite to the side where mounting hole 32 is provided. At this time, the inner surface side of the wide portion of tip portion 25 moves along and in contact with the surface of step portion 33 (see FIG. 12 ).
[0054] In this way, the wide portion of the tip portion 25 is engaged with the step portion 33, thereby forming a stopper portion 30 that prevents the engaging protrusion 26 from coming off. The step portion 33 is provided in a circular shape when viewed in the insertion direction so as to allow the tip portion 25 to rotate.
[0055] The anti-detachment portion 30 is provided with a rotation restricting portion 34 that restricts relative rotation between the first connecting member 21 and the second connecting member 22 when the engaging protrusion 26 has rotated to a predetermined rotation position. The rotation restricting portion 34 is configured to restrict rotation by engaging a locking protrusion 35 formed on the stepped portion 33 with a locking recess 36 formed on the tip portion 25.
[0056] That is, as shown in Fig. 7, two small locking protrusions 35 are formed at a circumferentially spaced interval in the middle of the surface of step portion 33. Also, as shown in Fig. 5, two locking recesses 36 are formed at locations corresponding to locking protrusions 35 on the back surface side of the wide portion of tip portion 25. Locking protrusions 35 and locking recesses 36 enter and engage with each other when first connecting member 21 and second connecting member 22 are rotated to a predetermined rotation position, thereby restricting relative rotation between first connecting member 21 and second connecting member 22.
[0057] 12, the predetermined rotation position is a position where the longitudinal direction of the first connecting member 21 is aligned in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the second connecting member 22. Therefore, when the engaging protrusion 26 is rotated, the strap S1 on one side and the strap S2 on the other side are connected in a state where they extend in a substantially straight line. With this configuration, when the strap S connected to the mobile terminal case is carried while slung over the shoulder, even if a load is applied to the strap connection device 20, the first connecting member 21 and the second connecting member 22 can be well maintained in a state where their rotation is restricted.
[0058] [Another embodiment] (1) In the above embodiment, the first connecting member 21 and the second connecting member 22 each have an elongated mounting hole 31, 32 for connecting a strap. However, instead of this configuration, for example, the mounting holes 31, 32 may be circular holes in either or both of the first connecting member 21 and the second connecting member 22.
[0059] (2) In the above embodiment, the rotation restricting portion 34 is configured with two locking protrusions 35 and two locking recesses 36. However, instead of two locking protrusions 35 and two locking recesses 36, one locking protrusion 35 and one locking recess 36 may be provided, or three or more locking protrusions 35 and one locking recess 36 may be provided. Furthermore, instead of the rotation restricting portion 34 being configured with the locking protrusions 35 and the locking recesses 36, various configurations may be used, such as a configuration in which rotation is restricted by a frictionally held member or a configuration in which rotation is restricted by magnetic attraction.
[0060] (3) In the above embodiment, the second connecting member 22 has a step portion 33 formed thereon. However, the second connecting member 22 may have a configuration in which the tip portion 25 engages with the other side surface of the second connecting member 22 without providing the step portion 33.
[0061] (4) In the above embodiment, the insertion portion is configured as an insertion hole 29 through which the second member side main body portion 27 is inserted. However, instead of this configuration, a configuration may be used which includes a recessed groove into which the tip portion 25 can enter without being inserted, and a widening groove portion at the back of the recessed groove which is wider than the recessed groove.
[0062] (5) In the above embodiment, the tip portion 25 and the insertion hole 29 are formed in an approximately rectangular shape. However, instead of this configuration, various configurations can be adopted, such as an oval shape, an arm shape extending in a cantilevered manner, etc.
[0063] (6) In the above embodiment, when the engaging protrusion 26 is rotated, the strap S1 on one side and the strap S2 on the other side are connected in a state in which they extend in a substantially straight line. However, instead of this configuration, the strap on one side and the strap on the other side may be connected in an inclined state.
[0064] (7) In the above embodiment, the locking mechanism 28 is configured such that, when the tip 25 of the engaging protrusion 26 is inserted into the insertion hole 29 (receiving portion), the engaging protrusion 26 is moved laterally in a direction intersecting the insertion direction and then rotated about an axis along the insertion direction, thereby locking the wide portion of the tip 25 and preventing removal, but the present invention is not limited to this. The locking mechanism 28 may be configured such that, when the tip 25 of the engaging protrusion 26 is inserted into the insertion hole 29 (receiving portion), the engaging protrusion 26 is rotated about an axis along the insertion direction and then moved laterally in a direction intersecting the insertion direction, thereby locking the wide portion of the tip 25 and preventing removal.
[0065] (8) In the above embodiment, a tablet terminal was used as the mobile terminal, but the mobile terminal is not limited to a tablet terminal and may be any mobile terminal such as a smartphone, a personal computer, or a mobile game console. [Industrial Applicability]
[0066] The present invention can be applied to a strap connecting device that can connect and disconnect a strap. [Explanation of symbols]
