[0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 to 6 show one embodiment of a structure of the present invention. This structure is applied to a cycle port installed in a public facility or the like for parking bicycles. As shown in Figures 1 to 3, this structure comprises three pillars 1, 1, 1 erected at intervals in the left-right direction, three beams 8, 8, 8 supported on the upper ends of the pillars 1, 1, 1, respectively, and a roof 9 supported by the beams 8, 8, 8. As shown in Figure 3, the roof 9 is inclined so that the rear side is lower.

[0010] Column 1 is made of an extruded aluminum alloy profile and, as shown in Figure 6, is formed in a hollow shape with a roughly rectangular cross-section. The left and right front surfaces 1a and 1b of column 1 protrude further back than the rear front surface 1c, and by fitting and attaching a joint plate 10 between these edges, a downpipe 5 for draining rainwater from the roof 9 to the ground is integrally formed with column 1. As shown in Figure 3, a drain opening 11 is provided at the bottom of the downpipe 5, facing towards the rear. As shown in FIG. 3, the lower part of the pillar 1 is inserted into a foundation hole 12 formed in the ground, and the pillar 1 is erected by filling the area around it with concrete 13. As shown in FIG. 4, an L-shaped column-to-beam connector 14 is inserted into the hollow portion at the top of the column 1 and fixed with a bolt 15.

[0011] The beam 8 is formed from an extruded aluminum alloy member, and as shown in FIG. 5, is a hollow member having a substantially rectangular cross section with the vertical dimension greater than the horizontal dimension. As shown in Figure 4, the beam 8 is connected to the column 1 by inserting a column-beam connector 14 into the hollow portion and fixing it with a bolt 15. The underwater (rear) end of the beam 8 protrudes rearward beyond the column 1.

[0012] 4 and 10, connecting fittings 16 are attached to the left and right side surfaces of the front and rear ends of the beam 8. The connecting fittings 16 are L-shaped in plan view, with a vertical piece 16a that runs along the length of the beam 8 and a horizontal piece 16b that extends laterally at a right angle from the vertical piece 16a, and the vertical piece 16a abuts against the side surface of the beam 8 and is fixed with a bolt 17. As shown in Fig. 10, a bolt insertion hole 18 is formed in the horizontal piece 16b, and a recess 21 that engages with a protrusion 20 of a back plate 30, which will be described later, is formed at the tip of the horizontal piece 16b.

[0013] As shown in Figure 2, the roof 9 has a roof frame 24 that frames the front beam 22, rear beam 23, and left and right side beams 33, 33 in a rectangular shape, and a plurality of roofing materials 25, 25, ... that are arranged inside the roof frame 24 in the front-to-back direction and attached in a row in the left-to-right direction.

[0014] The front girder 22, located on the above-water side (front side) of the roof 9, is made of extruded aluminum alloy material and, as shown in Figure 4, has a cross section that is roughly a right-angled triangle with the upper surface sloping downward toward the outer periphery of the roof 9. The front girder 22 has a roof material receiving portion 26 at the lower end of its inner peripheral side that receives the underside of the roof material 25, and a mounting portion 28 is formed at the upper part of its inner peripheral side onto which a mounting bracket 27 for the roof material 25 is placed and screwed. As shown in Figures 4 and 22, a backing plate retaining groove 29 is formed along the longitudinal direction on the inner circumferential side surface of the front beam 22, and the backing plate 30 is held in the backing plate retaining groove 29 so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction of the front beam 22. The backing plate 30 has a female screw hole 31 formed in the center and a projection 20 that protrudes toward the inner circumference on one side end (see Figure 22). As shown in Figures 4 and 23, the front girder 22 is fixed to the front end of the beam 8 by engaging the protrusion 20 of the back plate 30, which is held by the front girder 22, with the recess 21 of the connecting fitting 16 attached to the front end of the beam 8, and then screwing a bolt 32, which is inserted from the inner circumference side through the bolt insertion hole 18 (see Figure 23) of the connecting fitting 16, into the female screw hole 31 of the back plate 30 and tightening it. When installing the front girder 22, engaging the protrusion 20 of the back plate 30 with the recess 21 of the connecting fitting 16 allows the front girder 22 to be positioned so that it does not move in the vertical direction, and because the position of the female screw hole 31 of the back plate 30 and the position of the bolt insertion hole 18 of the connecting fitting 16 are aligned, it is easy to fix it with the bolt 32.

[0015] As shown in Figure 5, the left and right side girders 33, 33 are formed from aluminum profiles with a roughly right-angled triangular cross-section, almost the same as that of the front girder 22. As shown in Figure 2, both ends of the front girder 22 in the longitudinal direction and the front ends of the left and right side girders 33, 33 are cut at a 45° angle, and the diagonally cut ends are butted together to connect them.

[0016] In this structure, the longitudinal ends of the front girder 22 and side girders 33,33 are cut at a 45° angle, and the diagonally cut longitudinal ends are butted together to connect them. This eliminates the need to individually close the ends of the front girder 22 and side girders 33,33, thus simplifying the construction of the roof frame 24 and improving workability. Furthermore, the cross-sectional shape of the front girder 22 and side girders 33,33 is a roughly right-angled triangular cross-section with the upper surface sloping downward toward the outer perimeter of the roof 9. As a result, the roof 9 appears thin when viewed from the surroundings, resulting in a good aesthetic design.

[0017] The rear girder 23, located on the downstream (rear) side of the roof 9, is made of an extruded aluminum alloy profile and, as shown in Figure 4, has a main body 34 with a roughly rectangular cross-section connected to the beam 8, a gutter 2 attached to the lower part of the outer peripheral side of the main body 34 by screws, and a rear girder cover 35 attached to the outer peripheral side of the main body 34. The main body 34 has mounting portions 28 formed at the top of its inner peripheral side surface onto which mounting brackets 27 for the roof material 25 are placed and screwed. As shown in Figure 9, a back plate holding groove 29 is formed along the longitudinal direction on the inner peripheral side surface of the main body 34, and a back plate 30 is held in the back plate holding groove 29 so that it can slide in the longitudinal direction of the rear spar 23. As shown in Figure 4, the gutter 2 is fitted at its front end into a notch 57 provided at the upper end of the column 1, and its inner circumference is in contact with the rear surface 1c of the column 1. The gutter 2 has a roof material receiving portion 35 at the upper part of its inner circumference that receives the lower surface of the downstream end of the roof material 25, and rainwater that flows down the upper surface of the roof material 25 falls into the gutter 2 through the gap between the roof material receiving portion 35 and the main body portion 34.

[0018] As shown in Figure 2, the rear girder 23 is formed by dividing it into left and right halves at the central position in the left-right direction where the intermediate column 1 is located. The end faces 36 of one and the other rear girder 23a, 23b are facing each other and connected via a connecting sleeve 37. A connecting cover 38 is sandwiched between the end faces 36, 36 of one and the other rear girder 23a, 23b, and the connecting cover 38 covers the periphery of the connecting portion 3 of one and the other rear girder 23a, 23b. One rear girder (left rear girder) 23a has a U-shaped notch 39 in plan view formed at a position near the front of the right end of the bottom wall of the horizontal gutter 2a, as shown in Figures 2 and 8. Also, the horizontal gutter 2a of one rear girder 23a has a drain hole 40 formed at the rear end of the left beam 8, above the vertical gutter 5 of the left column 1, as shown in Figure 2. The other rear girder (right rear girder) 23b has a U-shaped notch 39 in plan view formed at a position near the front of the left end of the bottom wall of the horizontal gutter 2b, as shown in Figures 2 and 11. The horizontal gutter 2b of the other rear girder 23b also has a drain hole 40 formed at the rear end of the right beam 8, above the vertical gutter 5 of the right column 1.

[0019] The procedure for installing the rear girder 23 is described below. First, as shown in Figure 7, the horizontal gutters 2a and 2b are attached to the main bodies 34a and 34b of one and the other rear girder 23a and 23b with screws 41. Next, as shown in FIG. 8, the connecting sleeve 37 is inserted into the right end of the main body 34a of one of the rear spar 23a and fixed with a screw 42. Next, as shown in Figure 9, the back plate 30 is inserted into the back plate retaining groove 29 of the main body 34a of one of the rear girders 23a from the small end and attached, and the connecting sleeve 37 is passed through the hole 43 formed in the connecting portion cover 38 to attach the connecting portion cover 38. Next, as shown in Figure 10, bolts 32 are inserted from the inner periphery into the bolt insertion holes 18 of the horizontal pieces 16b of the connecting fittings 16 attached to the rear ends of the central beam 8 and the left beam 8, and the bolts 32 are then threaded into the female threaded holes 31 of the back plate 30 attached to one of the rear girders 23a and tightened, thereby fixing one of the rear girders 23a to the rear ends of the central beam 8 and the left beam 8. At this time, by engaging the protrusions 20 of the back plate 30 with the recesses 21 of the connecting fittings 16, it is possible to position the rear girder 23a so that it does not move in the vertical direction, and since the positions of the female threaded holes 31 of the back plate 30 and the bolt insertion holes 18 of the connecting fittings 16 match, fixing with the bolts 32 is easy. Next, as shown in FIG. 11, the back plate 30 is inserted into the back plate holding groove 29 of the main body portion 34b of the other rear spar 23b from the small end and attached. Next, as shown in Figure 12, the main body 34b of the other rear girder 23b is fitted into the connecting sleeve 37 from the side and fixed with screws 42, and bolts 32 are inserted from the inner side into the bolt insertion holes 18 of the horizontal pieces 16b of the connecting fittings 16 attached to the rear ends of the central beam 8 and the right beam 8, and the bolts 32 are screwed into the female threaded holes 31 of the back plate 30 attached to the other rear girder 23b and tightened, thereby fixing the other rear girder 23b to the rear ends of the central beam 8 and the right beam 8. When the one and the other rear girders 23a, 23b are attached in this manner, the connecting portion 3 between the one rear girders 23a and the other rear girders 23b is covered with a connecting portion cover 38, as shown in Figure 13, and the notches 39 formed in the horizontal gutters 2a of one rear girders 23a and the horizontal gutters 2b of the other rear girders 23b come together to form drainage holes 4 for dropping rainwater collected in the horizontal gutters 2a, 2b into the vertical gutters 5 of the intermediate pillars 1. Then, a water collector 45 is attached below the drainage holes 4 with a gasket 44 sandwiched between them and screws 46. Similarly, water collectors 45 are installed below the drain hole 40 (see Figure 2) formed in the longitudinal middle of the horizontal gutter 2a of one rear girder 23a, and below the drain hole 40 formed in the longitudinal middle of the horizontal gutter 2b of the other rear girder 23b.

[0020] Like the rear spar 23, the front spar 22 is also formed by dividing it into left and right halves at the center position in the left-right direction, and these halves are connected by a connecting sleeve 37 (see FIG. 2).

[0021] The water collector 45 is made of resin, and as shown in Figures 14 and 16, is formed in a cylindrical shape with a hanging wall 47 that is open at the top and bottom so as to surround the drain hole 4 of the horizontal gutter 2, and the hanging wall 47 forms a drainage path 48 that guides rainwater that falls from the drain hole 4 straight down. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 14, the water collector 45 has an inclined surface 49a formed below the rear hanging wall 47a that slopes downward towards the rear, and an inclined surface 49b formed below the front hanging wall 47b that slopes downward towards the front. The rear inclined surface 49a is located at a lower position than the front inclined surface 49b. A gap 50 is formed between the lower edges of both inclined surfaces 49a and 49b and the inner surface of the downpipe 5. By providing the inclined surfaces 49a and 49b in this way, the water collector 45 has drainage paths 51a and 51b formed that guide rainwater that falls from the drainage hole 4 along the inner surface of the downpipe 5.

[0022] When there is a lot of rain, the rainwater that enters the gutter 2 flows straight down from the drainage hole 4 of the gutter 2 through the drainage path 48 of the water collector 45, as shown in Figures 14 and 15. This allows the rainwater to be drained smoothly even when there is a lot of rain. When the amount of rain is small or immediately after the rain has stopped, as shown in Figure 14, rainwater runs down the hanging walls 47a, 47b of the water collector 45 and falls onto the inclined surfaces 49a, 49b, and then flows downward from the inclined surfaces 49a, 49b through the drainage paths 51a, 51b that are guided along the inner surface of the vertical gutter 5.

[0023] If the above-described water collector 45 were not installed when there was little rain or immediately after the rain had stopped, water droplets falling from the drainage holes 4 of the horizontal gutter 2 would collide with the drain outlet 11 provided at the bottom of the vertical gutter 5, causing a "plop, plop" sound. As described above, this structure has drainage paths 51a, 51b that guide rainwater from the inclined surfaces 49a, 49b formed at the bottom of the water collector 45 along the inner surface of the vertical gutter 5, thereby making it possible to prevent the generation of such drainage sounds.

[0024] Conventional cycle port gutters have drain holes in positions that avoid the connecting parts of the horizontal gutters, a drain elbow attached below the drain hole, and a lead gutter connecting the drain elbow to the top end of a vertical gutter installed along the pillar. As a result, gutters have many parts, making installation time-consuming, and the gutters are exposed away from the roof, which makes them less aesthetically pleasing. In contrast, as shown in Figure 13, this structure has drainage holes 4 in the connecting section 3 of the horizontal gutters 2a and 2b, allowing rainwater to drain directly from these drainage holes 4 to the downpipe 5 on the column 1. This simplifies the installation of the rain gutters and makes them less conspicuous, resulting in a user-friendly design.

[0025] As shown in Figures 2 and 5, the roofing materials 25 are formed into plate-like shapes from extruded aluminum alloy and are attached side by side in the left-right direction between the stringer 33 and the beams 8 and between the beams 8 themselves. As shown in Figure 5, the side edges of adjacent roofing materials 25 are connected to each other, and a hollow portion 53 with a roughly rectangular cross section is formed in the connecting portion 52 between the roofing materials 25, thereby providing strength to the roof 9. In addition, the roofing material 25 placed adjacent to the beam 8 has its side edge on the beam 8 side connected to the beam 8, and a hollow portion 55 is also formed in the connecting portion 54 between the roofing material 25 and the beam 8. As shown in Figure 4, each roofing material 25 is installed between the front girder 22 and the rear girder 23, with its above-water end connected to the front girder 22 with a mounting bracket 27 and its below-water end connected to the rear girder 23 with a mounting bracket 27. The below-water end of the roofing material 25 extends rearward beyond the rear facing surface 1c of the pillar 1 and is swallowed up by the rear girder 23, so that rainwater that flows down the top surface of the roofing material 25 falls into the horizontal gutter 2 of the rear girder 23. 4 and 5, the underside of the roof material 25 is flush with the front girder 22 and the side girder 33. In addition, an under-beam cover 56 is attached to the underside of the beam 2, and the underside of the under-beam cover 56 is flush with the underside of the roof material 25. As a result, the underside of the roof 9 of this structure is formed flat.

[0026] In this structure, when an obstacle or the like is present on the ground and the pillar 1 cannot be erected in the center position in the left-right direction where the connecting portion 3 of the rear girders 23a, 23b is located, the position of the pillar 1 can be shifted to the left or right. Figures 18 to 21 show an embodiment of the invention according to claim 2, and show the installation procedure for the rear girders 23a, 23b when the middle pillar 1 is shifted to the right. In this case, similar to the embodiment described earlier, after attaching the connecting sleeve 37 to the right end of the main body portion 34a of one of the rear girder 23a, the connecting sleeve 37 is passed through the hole 43 formed in the connecting cover 38 and the connecting cover 38 is attached, as shown in Figure 18, and the cap 6 is attached by engaging it with the notch 39 formed in the gutter 2a. Next, as shown in Figure 19, the main body 34b of the other rear girder 23b is fitted into the connecting sleeve 37 from the side and secured with screws 42, thereby connecting one rear girder 23a to the other rear girder 23b. Once the rear girders 23a and 23b are connected in this way, the drainage holes 4 formed in the connecting portion 3 of the gutters 2a and 2b are sealed with caps 6, as shown in Figure 21. In addition, drainage holes 7 are provided separately in the gutter 2b of the other rear girder 23b in advance, in accordance with the position where the intermediate column 1 will be installed. Next, as shown in Figure 20, a bolt 32 is inserted from the inner side into the bolt insertion hole 18 of the horizontal piece 16b of the connecting fitting 16 attached to the rear end of the beam 8, and the bolt 32 is screwed into the female threaded hole 31 of the back plate 30 attached to the rear girder 23 and tightened, thereby fixing the rear girder 23 to the rear end of the beam 8. Subsequently, as shown in Figure 21, a water collector 45 is installed below the drainage holes 7 and 40 formed in the horizontal gutter 2.

[0027] Thus, this structure is easy to use because, in cases where there are obstacles or other issues preventing the erection of a column 1 at the connection point 3 of the rear girder 23, the position of the column 1 can be adjusted accordingly.

[0028] As described above, this structure comprises one and the other horizontal gutters 2a, 2b and a column 1. The horizontal gutters 2a, 2b are connected with their end faces 36 facing each other, and a drain hole 4 is provided in the connecting part 3. The column 1 is located at the connecting part 3 of the horizontal gutters 2a, 2b and has a vertical downpipe 5 in the longitudinal direction. By directing rainwater from the drain hole 4 down the downpipe 5 (see Figure 13), the installation of the rain gutters is made easy and the rain gutters can be made less conspicuous, making it convenient to use. Furthermore, this structure comprises one and the other horizontal gutters 2a, 2b and a column 1. The horizontal gutters 2a, 2b are connected with their end faces facing each other 36, and a drainage hole 4 is provided in the connecting part 3, which is covered with a cap 6. The column 1 is positioned offset from the connecting part 3 of the horizontal gutters 2a, 2b in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal gutters 2a, 2b, and has a downpipe 5 in the longitudinal direction. In addition to the drainage hole 4 in the connecting part 3, a drainage hole 7 is provided in the horizontal gutter 2b at the position of the column 1, and rainwater from the drainage hole 7 is drained down by the downpipe 5 (see Figure 21). This makes it easy to use because if there are obstacles or the like and the column 1 cannot be installed at the connecting part 3 of the horizontal gutters 2a, 2b, the position of the column 1 can be adjusted accordingly. In this structure, notches 39 are formed in the bottom wall at the connecting ends of one and the other horizontal gutters 2a and 2b, and the two notches 39 come together to form a drainage hole 4 (see Figure 13), thus making it easy to form a drainage hole 4 in the connecting portion 3 of the horizontal gutters 2a and 2b. Furthermore, this structure has a water collector 45 installed below the drain hole 4 (see Figures 13, 14, and 21), which allows rainwater accumulated in the horizontal gutter 2 to flow smoothly from the drain holes 4 and 7 into the vertical gutter 5.

[0029] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments. The materials and cross-sectional shapes of the horizontal gutters and pillars can be changed as appropriate. The vertical gutters may be formed separately from the pillars. The roof structure is optional. The present invention is not limited to cycle ports, but can be applied to any structure with a roof, such as carports, walkway shelters, and terrace roofs. [Explanation of symbols]
