Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a dispensing cap, and more particularly to a dispensing cap having a separate valve member attached to the cap body. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, in dispensing caps attached to so-called squeeze containers, in which the contents are ejected by squeezing the body of the container with one's hand and the container returns to its original state when the hand is released, the contents sometimes drip out of the dispensing tube as soon as the container is tilted from an upright position.
[0003] For this reason, a dispensing cap is known that is provided with a valve body that opens and closes the communicating hole in response to fluctuations in the internal pressure of the container when the container is squeezed, switching the communicating hole between open and closed, so that liquid does not immediately drip even if the container is simply tilted from an upright position (see Patent Document 1). [0004] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2015-160633 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] However, in the dispensing cap described in Patent Document 1, the inner plug member serving as the valve member is fitted into the discharge hole of the cap body from below, which creates the problem that the valve member may fall off the cap body, and if the fitting is made too tight, the valve member may be deformed.
[0006] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to solve the above problems and to provide a pouring cap that can prevent the valve member from falling off the cap body. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] As an embodiment of the dispensing cap, the cap body is configured to include an auxiliary cylinder outside the fitting cylinder that holds the mounting cylinder portion of the valve member, and the fitting cylinder and the mounting cylinder portion are configured to have two upper and lower convex portions that are the same height, the fitting cylinder is configured to include a baffle portion with which the liquid flowing in from the valve body collides, and the fitting cylinder is configured to include a rectifying portion that is formed on the outflow side of the baffle portion and collects the liquid flow that has diffused around the baffle portion into the center, and the valve member is configured to include a slit-shaped valve body that closes the lower inner periphery of the mounting cylinder and opens when pressurized liquid flow is applied. [Effects of the Invention]
[0009] By adopting the above-described configuration, the pouring cap of the present invention can be used stably without the valve member attached to the cap body falling off from the cap body. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0011] The pouring cap of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings showing an embodiment embodied as a hinged cap. In the following description, when looking at Figure 1(a), the left side will be referred to as the "pouring side (opposite the hinge)", the right side will be referred to as the "back side (hinge side)", the upward direction will be referred to as "up", and the downward direction will be referred to as "down".
[0012] (Example) In FIG. 1, A is a container, B is a cap body attached to container A, D is an upper lid attached to cap body B via hinge C so as to be able to open and close freely, and E is a valve member that closes the opening of cap body B. The body of the container A is made of a soft material that can be deformed under pressure so as to push out the liquid content, the valve member E is made of an elastically deformable material such as an elastomer, and the cap body B, hinge C, and top lid D are integrally molded from a material that is harder than the valve member E, such as LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene). The materials for each can be changed as appropriate. The container A has a mouth 1 at the top, and a fitting ridge 2 is provided on the upper outer periphery of the mouth 1.
[0013] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the cap body B has an attachment portion 5 that is fitted into the mouth portion 1 of the container A, and a partition wall 6 that extends inward from the inner edge of the attachment portion 5 and seals the opening of the mouth portion 1. A pouring outlet 6a is opened in the partition 6 near the pouring side, and a pouring tube 7 is erected on the upper surface of the partition 6 from the periphery of the pouring outlet 6a, and a fitting tube 8 is suspended from the lower surface of the partition 6 from the periphery of the pouring outlet 6a, and an auxiliary tube 9 whose diameter is expanded by a predetermined width α is suspended from the outer periphery of the fitting tube 8. The fitting cylinder 8 is configured to hold the valve member E between itself and the auxiliary cylinder 9. In this embodiment, the upper end of the pouring tube 7 is formed in a trumpet shape to make it easier to pour the liquid content.
[0014] As shown in Figure 1(b), a fitting reduced diameter portion 11 is recessed on the outer periphery of the fitting tube 8, extending from the lower end to about the middle, and a lower protrusion 12b at the lower end and an upper protrusion 12a between the lower protrusion 12b and the upper end of the fitting reduced diameter portion 11 are protruded from the circumferential surface of the fitting reduced diameter portion 11, and an upper fitting recess 13 is formed between the upper end of the fitting reduced diameter portion 11 and the upper protrusion 12a, and a lower fitting recess 14 is formed between the upper protrusion 12a and the lower protrusion 12b. On the inner periphery of the fitting cylinder 8, an annular rectifying section 15 is formed at the top, with its upper portion sloping upward from the inner periphery so as to collect the diffused liquid flow to the center, and directly below the rectifying section 15, a baffle section 16 is formed in the center with a gap from the inner periphery, and a plurality of arm sections 17 (in this embodiment, two on the left and right) are formed to connect the inner periphery of the fitting cylinder 8 and the side of the baffle section 16, and as shown in Figure 2, the space between the inner periphery of the fitting cylinder 8 and the periphery of the baffle section 16 is open as a liquid passage 18 except for the part blocked by the arm sections 17, and the lower end section 15a of the rectifying section 15 is connected to the arm sections 17. The baffle plate portion 16 has a lower flat portion 16a formed in a flat shape, and an upper mountain-shaped portion 16b formed in a mountain shape that rises from the periphery toward the center.
[0015] The mounting portion 5 is composed of a base wall portion 20 that abuts against the upper surface of the mouth portion 1 of the container A, an inner tube 21 that hangs down from the inner side of the base wall portion 20, and an outer wall portion 22 that hangs down from the outer side of the base wall portion 20, and a lid engagement portion 23 that has an upper surface and outer periphery that engages with the upper lid D is erected on the upper part of the base wall portion 20, and a hinge C is connected to the upper part of the back side (hinge side) of the outer periphery of the outer wall portion 22, and an engagement protrusion 24 is provided on the lower inner periphery that engages with the mating protrusion 2 of the mouth portion 1 of the container A. The lid engagement portion 23 is cut into a predetermined area on the rear side at the same height as the upper surface of the partition wall 6, and multiple lid engagement portions 23 are arranged with gaps from both ends of the cut lid engagement portion 23, and a rear side protrusion 25 is erected from the upper surface of the partition wall 6 at the same height as the lid engagement portion 23.
[0016] The outer peripheral wall 22 is provided with a stepped recess 26 recessed from the outer periphery of a predetermined arc on the upper portion of the pouring side. Further, on the rear side, a slit groove 27 is recessed from above to form a breakable thin portion 27a so that the wall of the outer peripheral wall portion 22 can be broken and disposed of separately.
[0017] As shown in Figures 1 and 3, the valve member E is composed of an attachment tube portion 30 that is attached to the cap body B by having its upper inner periphery engage with the outer periphery of the attachment tube 8 of the cap body B, its upper outer periphery abut against the inner periphery of the auxiliary tube 9, and its upper end face abut against the underside of the partition wall 6, and a valve body 31 that extends inward from the lower inner periphery of the attachment tube portion 30 and closes the inside of the attachment tube portion 30 in an openable and closable manner.
[0018] The mounting tube portion 30 has upper fitting protrusions 33 and lower fitting protrusions 34 protruding from its inner circumference, which, when mounted, overcome the lower protrusions 12b and upper protrusions 12a on the outer periphery of the fitting tube 8 of the cap body B and fit into the upper fitting recess 13 and lower fitting recess 14. The mounting tube portion 30 is configured so that the inner peripheral ends of the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 abut against the peripheral surface of the fitting reduced diameter portion 11 of the fitting tube 8, and the outer periphery of the mounting tube portion 30 abuts against the inner periphery of the auxiliary tube 9.
[0019] The valve element 31 is deformable so as to openably and closably close the lower inner periphery of the mounting tube portion 30, and in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 3(a), a cross-shaped slit 36 extending from the center to the periphery is cut, and the center portion is pressed in and deformed to form a slit valve that opens. Note that the slit is not limited to a cross shape, and a straight slit or the like may be used as long as the slit valve structure does not cause liquid to drip when the squeeze container is tilted.
[0020] As shown in Figure 1, the upper lid D is rotatably attached to the upper outer end of the outer wall portion 22 of the cap body B via a hinge C, and is provided with a top wall 40, a side wall 41 that hangs down from the periphery of the top wall 40 and has the hinge C connected to its outer periphery, and a sealing tube 42 that hangs down from a predetermined position on the underside of the top wall 40 and is inserted into the pouring tube 7 from above to seal it, and the outer periphery of the sealing tube 42 on the top wall 40 is recessed from the underside and is provided with a deformable thin-walled deformation portion 43 in that portion.
[0021] An engaging recess 45 is provided around the inner periphery of the lower end of the side peripheral wall 41 to engage with the lid engaging portion 23 to maintain the lid in a closed state. An arc-shaped covering wall 46 hangs down from the outer peripheral edge of the lower surface of the side peripheral wall 41 on the pouring side, and is formed so as to cover the stepped recess 26 of the outer peripheral wall portion 22 of the cap body B when the lid is closed. A knob 47 having an arc shape in the circumferential direction is formed on the outer periphery of the side peripheral wall 41 at the lower end on the pouring side, and a hinge C is connected to the lower end on the back side.
[0022] Next, the manner of use and the effects of this embodiment will be described. In the dispensing cap of this embodiment, the cap body B, hinge C, and top cover D are molded integrally from the same material in the open state as shown in Figure 2(a), while the valve member E is molded separately from a different material. The formed pouring cap has an upper cover D which is rotated via a hinge C to cover the cap body B, and is closed as shown in FIG. At this time, the outer periphery of the sealing tube 42 of the upper lid D is tightly sealed against the inner periphery of the dispensing tube 7 of the cap body B. Furthermore, the engaging recess 45 of the side peripheral wall 41 of the top lid D and the lid engaging portion 23 of the cap body B engage with each other, maintaining the lid closed.
[0023] When the dispensing cap of this embodiment is closed and a leak test is performed on the seal between the dispensing tube 7 of the cap body B and the sealing tube 42 of the top lid D, air is flowed from below toward the dispensing outlet 6a of the cap body B, and if there is a defect in the seal between the dispensing tube 7 of the cap body B and the sealing tube 42 of the top lid D, the air leaking out from the dispensing tube 7 will escape from the gap in the cut-out part excluding the back side protrusion 25 of the lid engagement part 23 of the cap body B that abuts the engagement recess 45 of the top lid D, making it possible to determine whether the seal is defective.
[0024] Next, the valve member E is placed on the fitting cylinder 8 of the cap body B from below and then raised and attached. At this time, the upper inner periphery of the mounting tube portion 30 of the valve member E is placed over the lower outer periphery of the fitting tube 8 of the cap body B, and as it is raised, the mounting tube portion 30 is initially inserted and rises smoothly, since its inner diameter is slightly larger or the same as the outer diameter of the fitting tube 8 and its wall thickness is smaller than the width α between the fitting tube 8 and the auxiliary tube 9. As the valve member E continues to rise, first the upper side of the upper fitting protrusion 33 of the mounting tube portion 30 abuts against the underside of the lower protrusion 12b of the fitting tube 8, and as it continues to rise, the mounting tube portion 30 is pushed open, and while pressing its outer periphery against the inner periphery of the auxiliary tube 9, the upper fitting protrusion 33 climbs over the lower protrusion 12b and is fitted into the next lower fitting recess 14.
[0025] As the valve member E continues to rise, the upper sides of the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 of the mounting tube portion 30 abut against and overcome the lower sides of the upper protrusion 12a and the lower protrusion 12b of the fitting tube 8, and finally the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 fit into the upper fitting recess 13 and the lower fitting recess 14 of the fitting tube 8, and the upper end surface of the mounting tube portion 30 abuts against the lower surface of the partition 6 of the cap body B, causing the valve member E to stop rising and being attached to the cap body B.
[0026] After the valve member E is attached to the cap body B, the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 on the inner circumference of the attachment tube portion 30 abut against the peripheral surface of the fitting reduced diameter portion 11 including the upper fitting recess 13 and the lower fitting recess 14 of the attachment tube 8, and the outer circumference is pressed against the inner circumference of the auxiliary tube 9, so that the attachment tube portion 30 is clamped and attached between the attachment tube 8 and the auxiliary tube 9.Therefore, even if the attachment tube portion 30 tries to expand outward during attachment, it is pushed back by the auxiliary tube 9 and does not expand, preventing the valve member E from falling off the cap body B.
[0027] The valve member E is formed of a material softer than the cap body B in order to open and close the valve body 31, but when attached, the attachment tubular portion 30 is clamped and attached between the fitting tube 8 and auxiliary tube 9 of the cap body B, so after attachment, the attachment tubular portion 30 will not expand outward and fall off the cap body B, nor will it contract inward and affect the valve body 31, and it will remain stably attached to the cap body B.
[0028] In addition, the valve member E is engaged with the upper and lower engaging protrusions 33 and 34 formed on the inner circumference of the mounting tube portion 30 and the upper and lower protrusions 12a and 12b formed on the outer circumference of the mounting tube 8 of the cap body B, using protrusions of the same height at two upper and lower locations, so the valve member E will not fall off.Furthermore, by engaging with protrusions at two upper and lower locations, the height of the protrusions (upper and lower engaging protrusions 33 and 34) of the mounting tube portion 30 and the height of the protrusions (upper protrusions 12a and lower protrusions 12b) of the mounting tube 8 can be made smaller than in the conventional case where a protrusion is firmly engaged at one location. Since the height of the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 of the mounting tube portion 30 and the height of the upper protrusion 12a of the fitting tube 8 are smaller than before, when the mounting tube portion 30 of the valve member E and the fitting tube 8 of the cap body B are molded using a mold, the height of the protrusions is reduced, which reduces resistance, allows them to be easily removed from the mold, and prevents them from being damaged during molding and resulting in defective products.
[0029] Next, the closed pouring cap is attached to the mouth 1 of the container A filled with the liquid content. In the stoppering process, the annular groove formed between the inner tube 21 and outer peripheral wall 22 of the attachment part 5 is set onto the mouth 1 of the container A from above, and a pressing force is applied from above the top lid D, causing the engaging protrusion 24 of the outer peripheral wall 22 to overcome the mating protrusion 2 of the mouth 1 and fit into it, so that the mouth 1 of the container A is clamped and attached between the outer periphery of the inner tube 21, the inner periphery of the outer peripheral wall 22, and the base wall 20.
[0030] In the dispensing cap of this embodiment, even if the outside air or the liquid content is hot and the high temperature causes the valve member E to soften, the valve member E will not fall off from the cap body B because the mounting tube portion 30 is sandwiched between the fitting tube 8 and the auxiliary tube 9 of the cap body B. Furthermore, during long-term storage, the soft valve member E may become accustomed to fitting with the cap body B, causing the upper fitting protrusion 33 and the lower fitting protrusion 34 to fit weakly into the upper fitting recess 13 and the lower fitting recess 14. However, since the mounting tube portion 30 is clamped from the outside by the auxiliary tube 9, this prevents the fitting from coming loose and the valve member E from falling off, and the valve member E can maintain its fitting strength as a valve body 31 that blocks the inside of the fitting tube 8 of the cap body B during long-term storage.
[0031] When the container is dropped upside down in the closed state, even if an impact force is applied to the top wall 40 of the upper lid D, the thin-walled deformation portion 43 absorbs the impact received by the upper lid D and the sealing tube 42 is not pushed into or pulled away from the dispensing tube 7, so that the adhesion between the sealing tube 42 and the dispensing tube 7 is not affected and the sealing tube 42 and the dispensing tube 7 are prevented from coming loose and damaging each other.
[0032] When using the liquid contents in container A, first, place your fingers on the handle 47 of the top lid D and lift it up relative to the cap body B, which releases the seal between the sealing tube 42 of the top lid D and the dispensing tube 7 of the cap body B, and disengages the side wall 41 of the top lid D from the lid engagement portion 23 of the cap body B, thereby opening the top lid D relative to the cap body B. Even if the container A is tilted toward the pouring side with the lid open, the liquid contents in the container A are blocked by the underside of the partition wall 6 of the cap body B and the valve member E, as shown in Figure 4(a), so the liquid contents will not drip out.
[0033] When the container A is tilted toward the dispensing side with the lid open, the dispensing tube 7 is directed toward the desired dispensing location, and the body of the container A is squeezed by hand to pressurize the inside of the container A. As shown in Figure 4(b), the pressurized liquid contents push the valve body 31 of the valve member E of the cap body B from the inside to the outside, deforming the slit 36 from the center and opening it. Next, the content liquid passes through the opening of the slit 36 and flows into the fitting tube 8 of the valve member E, hits the lower flat portion 16a of the baffle portion 16 and is diffused, passes through the liquid passage 18 formed on the outer periphery of the baffle portion 16, and is collected in the center by the inner periphery of the flow rectifying portion 15 and the slope of the mountain-shaped portion 16b of the baffle portion 16, whereby the liquid is rectified and flows into the inner periphery of the dispensing tube 7 and is discharged from the tip of the dispensing tube 7. In this way, the liquid flow is guided by the lower flat surface 16a of the baffle plate portion 16, the liquid passage 18, the inner peripheral surface of the flow straightening portion 15 and the slope of the mountain-shaped portion 16b of the baffle plate portion 16, so even if the body of the container A is squeezed hard, the momentum of the liquid flow is attenuated and the liquid content does not spurt out forcefully from the tip of the dispensing tube 7 like a water gun, but can be stably discharged as intended from the tip of the dispensing tube 7.
[0034] When the hand squeezing the body of container A is released, the deformation of the body of container A returns to its original state, negative pressure is created inside container A, the liquid contents no longer pressurize the valve member E, and the slit 36 in the valve body 31 returns to its original state as the deformation in the center portion returns to its original state and closes, as shown in Figure 4(a). At this time, due to the negative pressure within the container A, the liquid content remaining above the valve body 31 is sucked back into the container A through the small opening of the slit 36 of the valve body 31.
[0035] In the dispensing cap of this embodiment, the liquid content remaining in the dispensing tube 7 spreads quickly outward from the inside of the straightening section 15 due to the inclination of the mountain-shaped section 16b of the baffle plate section 16, flows while being guided through the liquid passage 18, and returns to the container A through the small opening of the slit 36, so that the liquid content can be quickly recovered. Furthermore, the liquid passage 18 has only a narrow opening area formed on the outer peripheral side of the baffle plate portion 16 excluding the portion of the arm portion 17, so that the liquid content does not block the liquid passage 18 unless liquid pressure is applied, and the remaining liquid content does not drip out.
[0036] By closing the top lid D again on the cap body B, the lower outer peripheral surface of the sealing tube 42 of the top lid D tightly contacts and seals the dispensing tube 7 attached to the cap body B, thereby sealing the inside of the container A. Furthermore, the dispensing cap allows the top lid D to be opened and closed repeatedly, and the content liquid can be discharged by squeezing the container A. In this embodiment, the top cover D of the dispensing cap is connected to the cap body B via a hinge C, but the top cover D may be separate from the cap body B.
[0037] Next, after all the liquid contents in container A have been used, when it is time to separate and discard the cap from container A, grasp the top cover D with your fingers and pull it outward, which pulls the area around the slit groove 27, which is the connecting part of the outer wall portion 22 of the cap body B with the hinge C, via the hinge C, and tears the thin portion 27a of the outer wall portion 22 of the slit groove 27, allowing the cap body B and container A to easily be disengaged and separated from each other. [Industrial Applicability]
[0038] The dispensing cap of the present invention can be used stably without the valve member attached to the cap body falling off from the cap body, and since the valve member is separate from the cap body, the range of materials that can be selected can be expanded, making it suitable as a dispensing cap for a container.
