Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a tape body and a tape body device.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, a tape body is known in which a tape is wound around the outer peripheral surface of an annular core material having a flat shape (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] In this type of tape body, at least each of the first direction and the second direction orthogonal to this has a long form. For this reason, the conventional tape body is not always preferably stored in a storage device that is long in one direction, such as a pen case or a pen holder, that is, a storage device configured to store a rod-shaped article such as a writing instrument along one direction.
[0004] In addition, in the conventional tape body, the tape constituting the roll-shaped portion is always wound around the axial center of the core material at an angle orthogonal to the axial center. In other words, the conventional tape body has a configuration in which both end positions of the tapes stacked in multiple layers always match in a direction orthogonal to the axial center. For this reason, in the conventional tape body, only the tape portion for the limited one turn of the outermost layer has to be visibly exposed, and the degree of freedom in design for exhibiting a suitable appearance is low.

[Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0024] Hereinafter, a tape body A, which is an embodiment of the present invention, and tape dispensers S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5, which are tape body devices comprising tape body A, will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0025] Note that the forward / backward, left / right, and up / down directions in this specification are for illustrative purposes only.
[0026] <<Tape Type A>> Tape A is a roll-shaped portion 2 in which tapes T are stacked. The tapes T are picked up by the user and peeled off sequentially from the outer layer, allowing the peeled tapes T to be used for various purposes by the user.
[0027] In this embodiment, the tape T forming the roll-shaped portion 2 is masking tape (hereinafter simply referred to as "tape T"). Tape T is a continuous strip with a fixed width. Tape T has a known configuration, having an adhesive back surface and a surface to which patterns, designs, colors, etc., can be applied.
[0028] Tape A is stick-shaped overall. Tape A extends linearly in a predetermined direction, i.e., left-right in the illustrated example. The stick-shaped tape A is designed to fit easily into storage devices such as pen cases that are long in one direction, or into storage devices such as pen holders that store items such as writing instruments that extend in one direction in an up-and-down orientation.
[0029] The tape body A comprises a roll-shaped portion 2 formed by winding a tape T, which has an adhesive applied to its inner surface, around a substantially straight axis js in a predetermined position, and a rod-shaped core material 1 that holds the roll-shaped portion 2 and has an axis js that coincides with the axis js (hereinafter, the terms "axis" and "axis" will be referred to by the common symbol "js").
[0030] In other words, the tape body A comprises a cylindrical core material 1 that extends linearly in the left-right direction, and a roll-shaped portion 2 formed by tape T that is wound around the core material 1 in a predetermined winding manner.
[0031] The components of tape A are described in detail below.
[0032] <Core material 1> The core material 1 forms the base portion around which the tape T is wound to create the roll-shaped portion 2. Both ends of the core material 1 are tapered. That is, both ends of the core material 1 in the longitudinal direction are formed to gradually become smaller in diameter towards the outside.
[0033] The core material 1 comprises an intermediate portion 11 provided in the middle of its longitudinal direction and set to a constant diameter w2, and tapered end portions 12 continuously provided at both ends of the intermediate portion 11 in the longitudinal direction. The end portions 12 are partially conical in shape. The end portions 12 are provided with tapered surfaces mt that are inclined with respect to the axis js.
[0034] The angle of the tapered surface mt should preferably be set within the range of 3.5° to 4.5° with respect to the axis js, considering that the tape T being wound will not bend easily and will be neatly fixed to the core material 1. If the angle of the tapered surface mt is smaller than 3.5°, it may be difficult for the direction of travel of the wound tape T to be properly reversed. Furthermore, when the angle of the tapered surface mt is smaller than 3.5°, the wound tape T is prone to wrinkling because it needs to be excessively curved in order to reverse the direction of travel.
[0035] If the angle of the tapered surface mt is greater than 4.5°, wrinkles may easily form in the wound tape T. In this embodiment, the angle of the tapered surface mt is set to 4.0°.
[0036] Furthermore, it is desirable that the length of the tapered surface mt in the axial direction js be set to 9 mm or more when the width dimension w4 of the tape T to be wound is set to 15 mm. If the length of the tapered surface mt is shorter than 9 mm, the tape T to be wound is likely to protrude from the end portion 12. In this embodiment, the length of the tapered surface mt is set to 10 mm.
[0037] It is preferable that the boundary between the tapered surface mt of the end portion 12 and the intermediate portion 11 be smoothly continuous. In this embodiment, the boundary between the tapered surface mt of the end portion 12 and the intermediate portion 11 is set to R120.
[0038] In this embodiment, the longitudinal dimension w1 of the core material 1 is set to approximately 150 mm. The diameter w2 of the intermediate portion 11 is set to approximately 6 mm. The diameter w3 of the very tip of the end portion 12 is set to approximately 4.6 mm.
[0039] <Rolled portion 2> The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed by winding the tape T so that the portion tb just before adhesion is inclined with respect to the axis js. The roll-shaped portion 2 formed in the intermediate portion 11 of the core material 1 is formed by winding the tape T so that the portion tb just before adhesion is not perpendicular to the axis js.
[0040] In other words, in the longitudinal middle portion of the roll-shaped section 2, the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion is not wound in a position perpendicular to the axis js.
[0041] The roll-shaped portion 2, as a whole, is a stick-like shape that is longer in the axial direction js than the width dimension w4 of the tape T.
[0042] Here, it is desirable that the longitudinal dimension w5 of the roll-shaped portion 2, that is, the length w5 in the axial direction js, be set to be at least four times the width dimension w4 of the tape T in order to hold a tape T of a certain length.
[0043] In this embodiment, the longitudinal dimension w5 of the roll-shaped portion 2 is set to a length greater than nine times the width dimension w4 of the tape T (approximately 144 mm).
[0044] Tape T is a strip-shaped material with a fixed width dimension w4. In this embodiment, the width dimension w4 of tape T is set to approximately 15 mm.
[0045] The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed when a tape T having an adhesive surface is wound in a position inclined with respect to the axis js, i.e., the axis js of the core material 1, and the portion tb of the wound tape T just before adhesion moves back and forth multiple times in the first direction D1, which is to the right, and the second direction D2, which is to the left, along the axis js.
[0046] When forming the roll-shaped portion 2, the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion is guided by the tapered surface mt at the end portion 12 of the core material 1 in the axial direction js, so as to move back from one of the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 to the other, and is configured to be laminated on top of the tape T that has already been wound.
[0047] <Method for forming the rolled portion 2 on the core material 1> The method for forming the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape A will be explained with particular reference to Figures 4 to 8. Figures 4, 5, and 6 show a part of the process of winding the tape T around the core material 1 to form the roll-shaped portion 2. Figure 7 is shown to illustrate the unfolded state of the tape T wound around the middle portion 11 of the core material 1. Figure 8 is shown to illustrate the unfolded state of the tape T wound around the end portion 12 of the core material 1.
[0048] In the illustrated example, the direction in which the tape T is wound around the core material 1 is shown to be clockwise when viewed from the left end of the core material 1 towards the axis js, but of course, the opposite direction, i.e., counterclockwise, is also acceptable.
[0049] [Process of wrapping tape T around the middle portion 11 of core material 1 (Figure 4)] Figure 4 shows an embodiment in which tape T for forming a roll-shaped portion 2 is wound around the intermediate portion 11 of the core material 1. The portion tb of tape T immediately before adhesion to the intermediate portion 11 of the core material 1 is wound in a position inclined at a predetermined inclination angle C with respect to the axis js of the core material 1.
[0050] Here, it is preferable that the predetermined inclination angle C is set within the range of 65° to 70°. In this embodiment, the predetermined inclination angle C is set to approximately 67°.
[0051] At this time, the portion tb of the tape T just before adhesion gradually moves to the right in the first direction D1, which is along the axis js of the core material 1, as it is wound up.
[0052] Furthermore, it is preferable that the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion covers one side portion th, which is set within the range of one-third to two-thirds of the width of the tape T that has been wound around the previous turn and already adhered to the core material 1.
[0053] In this embodiment, the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion covers one side portion th on the direction of travel side, i.e., the first direction D1 side, which is set to be approximately half (about one-half) of the width of the tape T that has been wound around one turn earlier and already adhered to the core material 1.
[0054] Furthermore, the roll-shaped portion 2 located in the middle portion 11 of the core material 1 is formed by sequentially bonding a straight strip-shaped tape T, which will be used as the forming material, to the core material 1 and the tape T already bonded to the core material 1 while bending it and applying tension in the elongation direction.
[0055] In this embodiment, the roll-shaped portion 2 located in the middle portion 11 of the core material 1 is formed by sequentially adhering the tape T to the core material 1 and the outer surface of the tape T already adhering to the core material 1, while curving the tape T at a predetermined angle Θ so that it tilts toward the axis side, i.e., toward the core material 1 side, for each circumference length α of the tape T that the tape T is adhering to the core material 1. Note that the reference numeral MD in Figure 7 indicates the winding direction.
[0056] Furthermore, it is preferable that the predetermined angle Θ for curving the tape T is set within the range of 1.5° to 2.5°. In this embodiment, the predetermined angle Θ is set to approximately 1.9°.
[0057] [Process of wrapping tape T around the end portion 12 of core material 1 (Figure 5)] Figure 5 shows an embodiment in which tape T is wound around the core material 1 from the middle portion 11 to the end portion 12 to form a roll-shaped portion 2. The tape T, which is adhered to the core material 1 from the middle portion 11 to the end portion 12, is guided by the tapered surface mt provided at the end portion 12 during the winding process, causing it to transition to a different orientation from the middle portion 11 and to take a different winding trajectory from the middle portion 11.
[0058] In other words, while the tape T is wound only around the middle section 11, it maintains a constant inclined position with respect to the axis js. As a portion of the tape T reaches the end section 12, the position of the portion tb just before adhesion with respect to the axis js gradually changes, transitioning to a position perpendicular to the axis js of the core material 1, as clearly shown in Figure 5.
[0059] Subsequently, as the tape T is further wound, the portion tb of the tape T just before adhesion changes its orientation from being perpendicular to the axis js of the core material 1, the direction of inclination reverses, and it transitions to an orientation tilted in the second direction D2, i.e., to the left, relative to the axis js of the core material 1.
[0060] In other words, the portion tb of the tape T just before adhesion is guided by the tapered surface mt at the end portion 12 of the core material 1, causing it to fold back from the first direction D1 (rightward) to the second direction D2 (leftward) and be laminated on top of the tape T that has already been wound.
[0061] Here, the end of the roll-shaped portion 2 is formed by winding the tape T around the region including the end portion 12 of the core material 1 on all four sides, as shown in the unfolded state in Figure 8. As shown in the same figure, the tape T is not excessively bent in the left-right direction during the process of winding it around the region including the end portion 12 of the core material 1 on all four sides. Note that the numeral MD in Figure 8 indicates the winding direction.
[0062] In other words, the tape T, which is wound around the end portion 12 of the core material 1 and then folded back so that its direction of travel is reversed, is guided by the tapered surface mt and is not bent in the left-right direction, thus making it less likely for wrinkles or unevenness that would detract from the aesthetics to appear.
[0063] [Process of wrapping tape T around the middle portion 11 of core material 1 (Figure 6)] Figure 6 shows an embodiment in which tape T for forming the roll-shaped portion 2 is wound on top of adhesive tape T that has already been wound around the intermediate portion 11 of the core material 1. The portion tb of tape T immediately before adhesion, which is to be adhered on top of the adhesive tape T, is wound in a position inclined at a predetermined inclination angle C with respect to the axis js of the core material 1, substantially the same as in the winding process shown in Figure 4.
[0064] Here, it is preferable that the predetermined inclination angle C is set within the range of 65° to 70°. In this embodiment, the predetermined inclination angle C is set to approximately 67°.
[0065] At this time, the portion tb of the tape T just before adhesion gradually moves to the left, which is the second direction D2 along the axis js of the core material 1, as it is wound up.
[0066] Furthermore, similar to the process shown in Figure 4, it is preferable that the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion covers one side portion th, which is set within a range of one-third to two-thirds of the width of the tape T that has been wound around the previous turn and already adhered to the core material 1.
[0067] In this embodiment, the portion tb of the tape T immediately before adhesion covers one side portion th on the direction of travel side, i.e., the second direction D2 side, which is set to be approximately half (one-half) of the width of the tape T that has been wound around one turn earlier and already adhered to the core material 1.
[0068] Furthermore, the roll-shaped portion 2 located in the middle portion 11 of the core material 1 is formed by curving a straight strip-shaped tape T, which will serve as the forming material, while tensing it in the elongation direction, and then bonding it onto the tape T that has already been bonded to the core material 1.
[0069] In this embodiment, the roll-shaped portion 2 located in the middle portion 11 of the core material 1 is formed by sequentially adhering the tape T to the outer surface of the tape T already adhering to the core material 1, while curving the tape T at a predetermined angle Θ so that it tilts toward the axis side, i.e., toward the core material 1 side, for each circumference length α of the tape T that the tape T is adhering to the core material 1.
[0070] Furthermore, it is preferable that the predetermined angle Θ for curving the tape T is set within the range of 1.5° to 2.5°. In this embodiment, the predetermined angle Θ is set to approximately 1.9°.
[0071] By repeating the procedure described above multiple times, that is, by moving the portion tb immediately before adhesion back and forth multiple times in the first direction D1 and the second direction D2, a roll-shaped portion 2 is formed in which the tape T is laminated in multiple layers on the core material 1.
[0072] Next, we will explain in order the tape dispensers S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5, which are tape device components that include the tape A described in detail earlier.
[0073] <<First Embodiment (Figures 9-12)>> The tape dispenser S1, which is a tape device of the first embodiment, comprises a tape A and a housing P having a housing space sp for housing the tape A, as shown in Figures 9 to 12. The tape dispenser S1 is used by pulling the tape T from the tape A, which is disposed in the housing space sp of the housing P, to the outside space.
[0074] <Containment Unit P> The housing P of the first embodiment rotatably houses the tape A in the housing space sp. The housing P as a whole has an elongated length in one direction, i.e., left to right.
[0075] The containment body P extends in the left-right direction and connects the containment space sp with the external space, and includes a window hole M through which the tape T pulled out from the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape body A passes, and a holding part H provided below the window hole M, which protrudes forward and has an upward surface m1 that is planar, to which the tape T that has passed through the window hole M is temporarily adhered and held.
[0076] The window opening M and the retaining part H provided in the container P are both horizontally elongated. The longitudinal dimensions of the window opening M and the retaining part H are set to be the same length as the longitudinal dimension of the roll-shaped portion 2 in the tape body A.
[0077] The housing P in this embodiment consists of a main body p1 that forms a housing space sp for housing the tape A, and a lid p2 that is provided separately from the main body p1 and can open and close one end of the main body p1 in the longitudinal direction.
[0078] The main body p1 is formed in a generally bottomed cylindrical shape with an internal storage space sp. The main body p1 comprises a base portion p11 which is roughly cylindrical and extends longitudinally in the left-right direction, and a left side wall portion p12 which closes off the left end, which is one end of the base portion p11. The base portion p11 and the left side wall portion p12 are integrally formed from synthetic resin.
[0079] On the front side of the base p11, a window hole M and a retaining portion H are formed over substantially the entire width of the base p11. The left side wall portion p12 is roughly hemispherical when viewed from the outside.
[0080] The lid p2 is designed to open and close the right end of the base p11 on the main body p1. The lid p2 is detachably attached to the main body p1. Like the left side wall p12, the lid p2 has a roughly hemispherical shape when viewed from the outside.
[0081] Support portions e are formed on both longitudinal ends of the housing P facing the housing space sp, that is, on the inner surface of the left side wall portion p12 of the main body p1 and on the inner surface of the lid p2, to support both ends of the tape body A. The tip portion 1t of the core material 1 constituting the tape body A is engaged with each support portion e in a manner that allows for contact and sliding.
[0082] <<Second Embodiment (Figures 13-16)>> The tape dispenser S2, which is a tape device of the second embodiment, comprises a tape A and a housing P having a housing space sp for housing the tape A, as shown in Figures 13 to 16. The tape dispenser S2 is used by pulling the tape T from the tape A, which is disposed in the housing space sp of the housing P, to the outside space.
[0083] <Containment Unit P> The housing P of the second embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment mainly in the shape of the holding portion H and the fact that a cutting portion R is provided at the tip of the holding portion H.
[0084] The retaining part H of the containment body P is located below the window opening M and protrudes downward. The tape T that passes through the window opening M is temporarily adhered to and held against the forward-facing surface m2, which is curved in a partially cylindrical shape.
[0085] The cutting portion R of the housing P is made up of multiple small blades v arranged in parallel over the entire left-right direction of the extended end of the holding portion H.
[0086] <<Third Embodiment (Figures 17-20)>> The tape dispenser S3, which is a tape device of the third embodiment, comprises a tape A and a housing P having a housing space sp for housing the tape A, as shown in Figures 17 to 20. The tape dispenser S3 is used by pulling the tape T from the tape A, which is disposed in the housing space sp of the housing P, to the outside space.
[0087] <Containment Unit P> The housing P of the third embodiment differs from that of the second embodiment mainly in the shape of both the left and right sides, namely the left side wall p12 of the main body p1, the shape of the lid p2, and the shape of the holding part H.
[0088] The left and right sides of the containment body P, namely the outer surface m3 of the left side wall p12 of the main body p1 and the outer surface m4 of the lid p2, are flat plates in an upright, teardrop shape.
[0089] The holding part H of the containment body P is located below the window opening M, and the tape T that has passed through the window opening M is temporarily adhered to and held against the forward-facing surface m5, which is a vertical surface.
[0090] <<Fourth Embodiment (Figures 21-24)>> The tape dispenser S4, which is a tape device of the fourth embodiment, comprises a tape A and a housing Q having a housing space sp for housing the tape A, as shown in Figures 21 to 24. The tape dispenser S4 is used by pulling the tape T from the tape A, which is disposed in the housing space sp of the housing Q, to the outside space.
[0091] <Containment Q> In the fourth embodiment, the housing Q rotatably houses the tape A in the housing space sp by sliding the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape A. The housing Q as a whole has an elongated length in one direction, i.e., left to right.
[0092] The housing Q in this embodiment is a so-called blister pack type, mainly composed of a lower housing component q1 and an upper housing component q2, which are a pair of upper and lower plastic members.
[0093] The containment body Q extends in the left-right direction and connects the containment space sp with the external space, and includes a window hole M through which the tape T pulled out from the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape body A passes, and a holding portion H provided below the window hole M, which extends forward and has a planar shape, and on the upward-facing surface m6, the tape T that has passed through the window hole M is temporarily adhered to and held.
[0094] The longitudinal dimensions of the window opening M and the holding portion H provided in the housing Q are set to be the same length as the longitudinal dimension of the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape body A that is housed within it.
[0095] The housing Q of this embodiment comprises a lower housing component q1 and an upper housing component q2 rotatably connected to the rear end edge of the lower housing component q1 via a hinge component q3. The lower housing component q1 and the upper housing component q2 are configured to be able to move toward and away from each other by a fitting structure F consisting of a recess f2 and a protrusion f1 provided between them. In other words, the housing Q maintains a closed position with the tape body A housed inside by the connection of the lower housing component q1 and the upper housing component q2 via the fitting structure F.
[0096] In this embodiment, the container Q is transparent, allowing the interior to be seen. Of course, the container Q may also be opaque or translucent.
[0097] The lower housing component q1 comprises a lower housing base q11 formed in an upward bowl shape capable of housing the tape body A, and a lower flange portion q12 connected to the peripheral edge of the lower housing base q11.
[0098] The lower housing base q11 is formed in a roughly half-capsule shape. The lower housing base q11 is sized to accommodate at least the lower half of the tape body A over its entire longitudinal direction. The tape body A rotates around its axis js within the storage space sp in accordance with the user's operation of pulling the tape T from the roll-shaped portion 2, and the roll-shaped portion 2 slides against the inner surface of the lower housing base q11. The front edge of the lower housing base q11 constitutes the lower frame portion of the window opening M.
[0099] The lower flange portion q12 extends outward from the entire peripheral edge of the lower housing base portion q11. On both the left and right sides of the lower flange portion q12, there are protrusions f1 that can be fitted into recesses f2 provided in the upper flange portion q22.
[0100] The portion of the lower flange q12 located in front of the lower housing base q11 functions as a retaining portion H.
[0101] The upper housing component q2 comprises an upper housing base q21 formed in the shape of a downward-facing bowl capable of housing the tape body A, and an upper flange portion q22 connected to the peripheral edge of the upper housing base q21.
[0102] The upper housing base q21 is formed in a roughly half-capsule shape. The upper housing base q21 is sized to accommodate at least the upper half of the tape body A over its entire longitudinal direction. The inner surface of the upper housing base q21 is designed so that the roll-shaped portion 2 slides against it when the tape body A rotates, similar to the lower housing base q11. A notch k, which constitutes the main part of the window hole M, is provided at the front of the upper housing base q21.
[0103] The upper flange portion q22 extends outward from the peripheral edge of the upper housing base portion q21, excluding the area where the notch k is provided. The upper flange portion q22 has recesses f2 on both the left and right sides that can be fitted onto the protrusions f1 provided on the lower flange portion q12.
[0104] <<Fifth Embodiment (Figures 25-27)>> The tape dispenser S5, which is a tape device of the fifth embodiment, comprises a tape body A and a holder U having a pair of support parts u1 that support both ends of the tape body A, as shown in Figures 25 to 27. The tape dispenser S5 is configured to rotatably support the tape body A in order to facilitate the dispensing of the tape T from the stick-shaped tape body A, and is also configured to be grasped using the fingers of one hand.
[0105] <Holder U> The holder U includes a pair of left and right support parts u1 that engage with both ends of the tape body A, and a connecting part u2 that connects the pair of left and right support parts u1.
[0106] The left and right support parts u1 rotatably support the tape body A. The distance between the left support part u1 and the right support part u1 is set to a length that allows the tape body A to be held between two fingers (for example, the thumb and middle finger) of one hand.
[0107] The left and right support parts u1 have outer surfaces um that come into contact with the user's fingers when gripping them. The left and right support parts u1 have recesses u11 that open inward. The tip 1t of the core material 1 that constitutes the tape body A engages with the recesses u11 in a way that allows it to abut and slide. The recesses u11 provided in the left and right support parts u1 function as bearings that allow the core material 1 to rotatably hold.
[0108] The connecting portion u2 is installed between a pair of support portions u1 so as not to interfere with the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape body A that is held. The connecting portion u2 is formed in a U-shape. The width dimension of the connecting portion u2 in the shorter direction, i.e., the vertical direction, is set to be approximately the same as or shorter than the width dimension of the support portion u1 in the vertical direction.
[0109] The connecting portion u2 extends in the left-right direction and penetrates in the front-back direction, comprising a window hole I through which the tape T pulled out from the roll-shaped portion 2 of the tape body A passes, and a holding portion L provided below the window hole I, which is a forward-facing surface through which the tape T that has passed through the window hole I is temporarily adhered and held.
[0110] The window opening I is located in the middle of the connecting portion u2 in the vertical direction.
[0111] The holding portion H is configured such that the tape T that has passed through the window hole I is temporarily adhered to and held by the forward-facing surface of the portion located below the window hole I in the connecting portion u2.
[0112] In this embodiment, the holder U can support the tape body A by temporarily elastically deforming the connecting portion u2, thereby engaging the tip portion 1t of the core material 1 in the tape body A with the recesses u11 provided in the left and right support portions u1.
[0113] As described above, the tape body A according to this embodiment includes a roll-shaped portion 2 in which a tape T, on which an adhesive is applied to the inner surface, is wound around a substantially straight axis js, and the tape T is used by peeling it off from the roll-shaped portion 2.
[0114] Furthermore, the tape body A has a roll-shaped portion 2 that is longer in the axial direction js than the width dimension w4 of the tape T, forming a stick shape.
[0115] Therefore, this embodiment provides a tape body A that offers excellent storage efficiency in storage containers and a high degree of design freedom to achieve a desirable appearance.
[0116] In other words, the tape body A, including the roll-shaped portion 2, is a stick-shaped object that extends in the axial direction js. Therefore, the tape body A of this embodiment can be stored efficiently and comfortably in an appropriate position even in storage containers that are long in one direction, such as pen cases.
[0117] Furthermore, the roll-shaped portion 2 of tape A has minimal exposure of its end face in the wound tape T, making it less susceptible to dust and dirt buildup.
[0118] Furthermore, since the tape body A of this embodiment allows the outermost layer of a relatively long region in the longitudinal direction of the tape T to be visible, it offers excellent design flexibility to achieve a desirable appearance.
[0119] In other words, since tape A exposes a wide area of the surface of tape T, it is possible to form a stick-like appearance with a rich design.
[0120] The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed by winding the tape T in a position that is inclined with respect to the axis js.
[0121] Therefore, it is possible to suitably form a tape body A that takes on a characteristic shape, such as being stick-shaped overall.
[0122] The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed when the tape T is wound in a position inclined with respect to the axis js, and the portion tb of the wound tape T just before adhesion gradually moves in a first direction D1 or a second direction D2 along the axis js.
[0123] Furthermore, the portion tb of tape A immediately before adhesion is configured to fold back at its end in the axial direction js from one of the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 to the other, and to be laminated on top of the tape T that has already been wound.
[0124] Therefore, while adopting a characteristic stick-like shape overall, it is possible to provide a tape body A in which a certain amount of tape T is appropriately held by laminating multiple layers. In other words, with the tape body A of this embodiment, a roll-like portion 2 is realized in which tape T of an appropriate length, not too short, is wound around it.
[0125] It has a rod-shaped core material 1, and the roll-shaped portion 2 is held by the core material 1.
[0126] Therefore, the roll-shaped portion 2 is less likely to bend, break, or deform, and by stabilizing into a consistent, straight shape, the ease of use of the tape T is not compromised, and it also contributes to maintaining a desirable overall aesthetic appearance.
[0127] Both ends of the core material 1 are tapered.
[0128] Therefore, the portion tb of the tape T that is wound around the core material 1 just before adhesion is guided by the tapered surface mt of the tapered portion, which allows for smooth folding movement from the first direction D1 to the second direction D2, and from the second direction D2 to the first direction D1.
[0129] The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed when the tape T is wound in a position inclined with respect to the axis js, and the portion tb of the wound tape T just before adhesion gradually moves along the axis js. The portion tb just before adhesion covers one side portion th, which is set within a range of one-third to two-thirds of the width of the tape T wound one turn earlier.
[0130] Therefore, the roll-shaped portion 2 is more easily formed into a uniform shape along its longitudinal direction, and the tape T that constitutes the outermost layer is more easily formed to create a desirable appearance.
[0131] The roll-shaped portion 2 is formed by winding the tape T while keeping it taut and curved.
[0132] Therefore, the roll-shaped portion 2 is formed in a well-balanced manner with the occurrence of wrinkles appropriately suppressed.
[0133] Since tape T is masking tape, it is possible to suitably form a roll-shaped portion 2 with excellent design.
[0134] The tape dispensers S1, S2, S3, and S4, which are tape device units, each consist of a tape unit A and a container P that holds the tape unit A.
[0135] Therefore, it is possible to provide tape dispensers S1, S2, S3, and S4 that can suitably accommodate a tape body A which is in the shape of a stick as a whole, while allowing the tape T to be pulled out and used.
[0136] The tape body A is rotatably housed inside the housing P, and the housing P comprises a window hole M through which the tape T drawn out from the roll-shaped portion 2 passes, connecting the housing space sp with the external space, and a holding portion H through which the tape T that has passed through the window hole M is temporarily adhered and held.
[0137] Therefore, the tape dispensers S1, S2, S3, and S4 are equipped with a suitable configuration that allows the tape T to be conveniently drawn out from the inside and the end of the drawn-out tape T to be stably held.
[0138] The housing P is provided with a cutting section R for cutting the tape T that has been pulled out from the tape A.
[0139] Therefore, tape dispensers S2 and S3, which have a cutting section R in the container P, are capable of cutting the tape T effectively.
[0140] Support portions e are provided at both longitudinal ends of the container P to support both ends of the tape A.
[0141] Therefore, the housing P is configured to accommodate the tape A so that it can rotate around its axis js.
[0142] The tape dispenser S5 comprises a tape body A and a holder U having a pair of support parts u1 that support both ends of the tape body A.
[0143] Therefore, the tape dispenser S5 is equipped with a holder U that supports both ends of the tape A, allowing the user to use the tape A comfortably.
[0144] In other words, the tape body A of this embodiment has a stick-like shape overall and employs a special structure in which no hollow portion into which fingers can be inserted is formed, so that the holder U can suitably support both ends of the tape body A.
[0145] The holder U is equipped with a connecting portion u2 that connects a pair of support portions u1 so as not to interfere with the roll-shaped portion 2.
[0146] Therefore, a suitable configuration is adopted that prevents the pair of support parts u1 from being lost or their relative positions from shifting.
[0147] However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in detail above.
[0148] The core material is not limited to those shown in the embodiments described above, and may have configurations that provide various additional functions.
[0149] For example, as shown in Figures 28 and 29, a configuration can be given in which auxiliary parts B, which are parts that the user grips, are provided at both ends of the core material 1. The auxiliary part B has an outward-facing surface bm, which is an end face that is easy for the user's fingers to make contact with. The auxiliary part B is formed in a partial cone shape. The auxiliary part B may be provided integrally with the core material 1, or it may be provided by attaching a separately made member to the end of the core material 1. As shown in Figure 29, if the outward-facing surface mb of the auxiliary part B faces the axis js direction, that is, if the outward-facing surface mb of the auxiliary part B extends in a direction perpendicular to the axis js, then by attaching the outward-facing surface mb downward to a horizontal mounting surface N such as a top plate, the tape body A can be easily maintained in an upright position extending vertically on the mounting surface N.
[0150] The tape can be in any stick shape, and of course, its size can be anything. For example, the tape may be too large to fit in a pen case, for instance.
[0151] The tape material may be constructed without a core material.
[0152] The core material is not limited to a solid material. For example, the core material may be a hollow tube.
[0153] Of course, the size of the core material, that is, its diameter and length, can be set to appropriate values.
[0154] The tape is not limited to masking tape; various types of tape with adhesive applied to the inner surface can be used.
[0155] Of course, the width dimensions of the tape are not limited to those shown in the embodiments described above.
[0156] Tapes are not limited to configurations that always extend with the same width dimension.
[0157] Tape devices are not limited to tape dispensers; various configurations are possible as long as they include a tape.
[0158] For example, the tape device may be a tape with a case that serves as its housing. In other words, the housing that constitutes the tape device may simply function as a case for housing the tape when not in use.
[0159] The core material may be provided with a support portion for supporting the tape body. In this case, for example, if the container side is provided with a portion that receives the support portion of the core material either surfacely or at a point, that portion becomes the support portion on the container side.
[0160] Furthermore, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention. [Explanation of Symbols]
