Abstract

To provide a maintenance-free classifier that can achieve a small classification point without vibrating mixtures containing granular material. [Solution] The classification device comprises a plurality of scrapers 7 attached at predetermined intervals to a pair of endless chains 12, 12, an inclined bottom plate 35 positioned below the endless chains 12, 12, and a plurality of classification bars 37 attached to the inclined bottom plate 35. Each scraper 7 has a plurality of scraping teeth 39 formed at its tip, and the classification bars 37 have sides that face the sides of the scraping teeth 39 of the scraper 7, which are moved by the drive of the chain drive device 1, with a predetermined classification gap between them. Each scraper 7 is inclined such that its tip is located behind its rear end relative to the direction of travel of the endless chain 12, and the chain drive device 1 circulates the endless chains 12, 12 such that the scraping teeth 39 move diagonally downward between the classification bars 37.
