The present invention provides a process and facilities for using one or more PET-containing materials as feedstock for chemical recycling facilities, particularly solvolysis facilities. [Solution] The PET-containing material used as a raw material may contain a certain amount of PET and PVC-containing reclaimer flake rejects. The PET and PVC-containing reclaimer flake rejects can be derived from various plastic reclaimer separation processes, including density separation. Such flake reject materials, due to their PVC content, are generally undesirable or unsuitable for use in mechanical PET recycling facilities and are typically sent to landfills and / or incinerators.
