AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing packaging technologies face issues with sealing defects and reduced openability when contents adhere to the container flange, leading to high-strength bonds that make opening difficult.

Method used

A packaging component set with easy-peel films containing thermoplastic resin layers that allow for cohesive or interlayer delamination, ensuring high-strength seals without compromising ease of opening.

Benefits of technology

The packaging component set maintains high sealing strength while allowing easy opening by peeling off the easy-peel films with minimal force, preventing a decrease in openability even with foreign matter interposed during sealing.

Abstract

This provides a set of packaging components that can prevent a decrease in ease of opening even when heat-sealing the container and lid by increasing the seal strength. [Solution] The packaging component set consists of a container 2 having an outward-facing flange portion 21 and a lid 3 that is heat-sealed to the flange portion 21. The container 2 is provided with a container base layer 24 and an easily peelable container-side sealant layer 25 provided on one side of the container base layer 24 and covering the upper surface of the flange portion 21. The lid 3 is provided with a lid base layer 32 and an easily peelable lid-side sealant layer 33 provided on one side of the lid base layer 32 and covering the lower surface of the lid 3. The container-side sealant layer 25 consists of a base resin layer 251 and a container-side release layer 252 laminated on the upper surface of the base resin layer 251. The lid-side sealant layer 33 consists of a base resin layer 331 and a lid-side release layer 332 laminated on the lower surface of the base resin layer 331. The container-side release layer 252 and the base resin layer 331 of the lid-side sealant layer 33 contain the same type of thermoplastic resin.
