Abstract
This electric vehicle provides a system that can mitigate the rise in battery temperature even when the hood is open while battery cooling control is in operation. [Solution] An electric vehicle comprising a battery and a charging device, comprising: a cooling circuit through which a refrigerant for cooling the charging device is circulated; a fan for cooling the refrigerant; a storage space in which the fan is located; a hood covering the storage space; a battery temperature adjustment circuit through which a heat transfer medium for adjusting the temperature of the battery is circulated; and a control device that controls the fan to stop when the hood is open. The battery temperature adjustment circuit comprises a pump for circulating the heat transfer medium and a temperature adjustment device for cooling or heating the heat transfer medium. The control device stops the temperature adjustment device when the hood is open while the temperature adjustment device is performing cooling control to cool the battery by cooling the heat transfer medium, and drives the pump when the temperature of the heat transfer medium is lower than the temperature of the battery.
