Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] Although the conventional air filter is easy to handle without damage or contamination of the filter filter medium, there is a disadvantage that in the opening operation along the perforations, the perforations are opened in an unintended direction and the packaging box is broken, and an opening surface with a clean outer periphery as designed cannot be obtained. Therefore, there has been a demand for an air filter that can be cleanly opened along the above-mentioned perforations in an air filter housed inside a packaging box body assembled with paper or the like for such a filter medium.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0005] Therefore, after diligent research by the inventors, we have found that the above problem can be solved by replacing the conventional linear perforations with perforations on the strip for tearing. The air filter of the present invention is based on the above findings and is as follows: (1) An air filter in which the entire outer circumference of the filter material is surrounded by a box-shaped filter frame, wherein a strip for cutting is formed by perforations along the outer circumference of the air outlet surface and the air inlet surface of the filter frame, and the air outlet surface and air inlet surface are exposed by cutting off this strip. (2) The air filter according to (1), wherein the corner portion of the strip is rounded. (3) The perforations are of the V-shape type, as described in (1) or (2). (4) The air filter according to (3), wherein the notches in the strip formed by the V-shaped perforations narrow in the direction in which the strip is peeled off. (5) The air filter according to (3) or (4), wherein the corners of the strip are rounded and the perforations are straight at the corners. (6) An air filter according to any one of (1) to (5), wherein finger insertion holes are provided at symmetrical positions on the left and right sides of the band, and a cutting line is provided near the insertion holes along the width direction of the band, so as to divide the total length of the band in the length direction into two. (7) An air filter according to any one of (1) to (6), wherein the filter frame is fitted into an inner box with an outer lid. [Effects of the Invention]

[0006] The air filter of the present invention, instead of using straight perforations, has perforated strips along the outer circumferences of the air outlet and air inlet surfaces of the filter frame. By cutting these strips, the air outlet and air inlet surfaces are revealed. As a result, the strips are neatly cut along the perforations, allowing the air outlet and air inlet surfaces to be formed on the filter frame as designed. Furthermore, compared to straight perforations, which require force to tear off the entire area inside the perforations, the cutting process is extremely easy as only the strip needs to be separated. If a radius is formed at the corner of the strip, cutting work at the corner can be easily performed. In particular, if the perforations are made straight at the corners, cutting at the corners can be easily done. Furthermore, if the perforated surface is of the V-shape type, the perforations will be cut along the V-shape, preventing accidental cutting of the outside of the strip, i.e., the filter frame side. Furthermore, if the notches in the strip formed by the aforementioned angled perforations are made to narrow in the direction in which the strip is peeled off, it becomes less likely that the outer part of the strip, i.e., the filter frame side, will be accidentally cut off. Furthermore, if finger holes are provided symmetrically on both sides of the band, and a cutting line is provided near these holes along the width direction of the band, thereby dividing the total length of the band in half, the band will not become too long, and the cutting process will be easier. Furthermore, if the filter frame is constructed as a box-type structure with an outer lid covering an inner box, the box-shaped filter frame can be easily manufactured, the box can be easily opened and closed, and the filter media can be easily maintained. The air filter of the present invention is suitable for use, for example, as a medium-efficiency air filter or a chemical filter. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[0007] [Figure 1] Perspective view of the air filter of the present invention [Figure 2] Front view of the air filter of the present invention [Figure 3]Front view of the air filter of the present invention with the cover removed. [Modes for carrying out the invention]

[0008] An embodiment of the air filter according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the air filter of the present invention, Figure 2 shows a front view of the same air filter, and Figure 3 shows a front view of the air filter of the present invention with the cover removed.

[0009] In the figure, 1 shows a box-shaped filter frame 10 made of strong paper, such as corrugated cardboard. In this embodiment, it is configured as a box structure where an outer lid 10b is placed over an inner box 10a. The inner box 10a is provided with an air inlet surface (not shown), and the outer lid 10b is provided with an air outlet surface 11b. Furthermore, by forming two parallel perforations 20a and 20b along the outer circumference of the roughly square-shaped air outlet surface 11b of the outer cover 10b, a strip 30 for tearing is formed between these perforations 20a and 20b. The cover 10c is formed inside perforation 20a, and the filter frame 10 is formed outside perforation 20b. The cover 10c can be removed by cutting along the perforations of the strip 30, revealing the air outlet surface 11b. In the figure, 40 indicates the filter material of the air outlet surface 11b. The filter material 40 is composed of, for example, organic fibers, glass fibers, nanofibers, etc.

[0010] The four corners 30a of the strip 30 are rounded to prevent the filter frame 10 from being torn by unintended cutting when the strip 30 is cut, thereby facilitating the cutting work at the corners 30a. Furthermore, the perforations 20a and 20b are formed as straight perforations at the corner portion 30a, making it easier to cut the product at the corner portion 30a. Outside the corner portion 30, the perforations 20a and 20b are in the shape of a reversed "Z". The notch 30b of the strip 30 formed by these reversed "Z"-shaped perforations 20a and 20b is formed so as to narrow in the peeling direction of the strip 30. Therefore, when the strip 30 is cut along the perforations 20a and 20b, the force applied to the perforations is less likely to reach the filter frame 10 formed on the outside of the strip 30.

[0011] Finger insertion holes 30c and 30c are provided at symmetrical positions on the left and right of the strip 30, and cutting lines 30d and 30d along the width direction of the strip 30 are provided in the vicinity of these insertion holes 30c and 30c, so as to bisect the entire length of the strip 30 in the longitudinal direction. For this reason, the strip 30 does not become too long, and the cutting operation of the strip 30 is easy. Also, by inserting fingers into the finger insertion holes 30c and 30c, the start of cutting the strip 30 becomes easy.

Industrial Applicability

[0012] It is possible to form an air outflow surface and an air inflow surface as designed on the filter frame provided with perforations, and the cutting operation of the strip can also be performed very easily, so it is industrially useful.
