Claims
1. A method for manufacturing a wire with an irregular cross-section, comprising: a preliminary drawing step of passing an annealed wire with a circular cross-section through a round die having a drawing hole with a circular cross-section; and a shaping drawing step of sequentially passing the wire that has passed through the round die through two or more irregular dies, each having a drawing hole with a flat cross-section, wherein the total reduction in surface area is 56% or more and 70% or less.
2. The method for manufacturing a deformed cross-section wire according to claim 1, wherein the reduction ratio in the preliminary drawing process is 10% or more and 30% or less.
3. The method for manufacturing a deformed cross-section wire according to claim 1, wherein the deformed wire drawing process involves passing the wire through two deformed dies.
4. The method for manufacturing a deformed cross-section wire rod according to claim 1, further comprising a rolling step between the preliminary drawing step and the deformed drawing step.
5. A method for manufacturing a deformed cross-section wire, comprising a deformed cutting step in which an annealed wire with a circular cross-section is sequentially passed through four or more deformed dies, each having a drawing hole with a flat cross-sectional shape, wherein the total reduction in surface area is 56% or more and 70% or less.
6. The method for manufacturing a wire with an irregular cross-section according to claim 5, wherein the drawing hole of the irregular die has at least one pair of parallel sides and an undercut forming portion provided continuously with one of the parallel sides.
