Abstract

A method for producing a cell pathology sample, comprising irradiating a target tissue with ultrasound energy using a focused beam that generates shear waves within the tissue. A method for producing a cell pathology sample, comprising irradiating the target tissue with ultrasound energy at a first intensity level during a first period, and irradiating the target tissue with ultrasound energy at a second intensity level during a second period, wherein the first intensity level is higher than the second intensity level. Related apparatus and methods will also be described.
