Abstract

A syringe with an arc-shaped plunger handle that can be fitted both inside and outside the barrel. This ensures that the plunger is pushed straight, and, combined with the hinged plunger head, allows the handle to be folded outwards from the barrel, minimizing its volume. A rotating cap attached to the handle covers the dispensing end of the syringe, sealing the tip.

3. The syringe according to claim 1, wherein the outer surface of the handle fits into the inner surface of the barrel.

4. The syringe according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the handle is hinged to the head.

5. The syringe according to any one of the above claims, wherein the handle is detachably attached to the head.

6. The barrel further comprises an inward-facing lip adjacent to the open end, The syringe according to any one of the claims, wherein the head comprises an outer lip which engages with an inner lip to prevent the head from being unintentionally withdrawn from the barrel.

7. The barrel further comprises a discharge tip at the discharge end, The handle further comprises a cap that is rotatably mounted, The syringe according to any one of the claims, wherein the cap is rotatable from a first position away from the dispensing end to a second position covering the dispensing end and sealing the dispensing tip.
