Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a carry bag with an expansion function, and more particularly to a carry bag with an expansion function having an inner layer wire fastener.
Background Art
[0002] Commercially available carry bags vary in type depending on their functions. If it is necessary to avoid damaging the luggage inside the carry bag, a shock-resistant carry bag is recommended. If the storage space can be increased according to the storage capacity, a carry bag with an expansion function is recommended.
[0003] Existing carry bags with an expansion function have two externally exposed wire fasteners. One wire fastener is a wire fastener for opening and closing two shells or the front shell of the carry bag. The other wire fastener is a wire fastener for expanding the storage space of the carry bag. Also, in order to prevent others from casually opening the wire fastener exposed outside the carry bag, it is common to mount a lock on the wire fastener. However, when using the carry bag on a rainy day or in a high-humidity environment, if moisture penetrates into the storage space of the carry bag from between the left and right teeth of the wire fastener, the luggage in the storage space may absorb the moisture and become unusable. In addition, since the carry bag with the wire fastener exposed outside has a relatively complicated appearance and is not very beautiful, there is room for improvement in existing carry bags. A relevant prior art document is Taiwan registration number TWM458136U.
Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the main object of the present invention is to provide a carry bag with an expansion function in which the wire fastener for expanding the storage space is arranged on the inner layer of the carry bag, and a theft prevention and waterproof protection function is arranged in the structure for adapting to the expansion of the storage space, and the appearance is simple. [Means for solving the problem]
[0005] To solve the above-mentioned problems, the expandable carry bag with an internal zipper comprises a first shell, a second shell, a first annular guard member, a second annular guard member, an internal zipper, and a core member. The first shell has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a first annular opening edge. The second shell has an outer surface, an inner surface, and a second annular opening edge. The first annular guard member is attached to the first annular opening edge. The second annular guard member is attached to the second annular opening edge. The internal zipper has a first tape and a second tape. The first tape and the second tape each have a fixed end and teeth. The fixed end of the first tape is fixed directly to the inner surface of the first shell or to the inner surface of the first shell by the first annular guard member. The fixed end of the second tape is fixed directly to the inner surface of the second shell or to the inner surface of the second shell by the second annular guard member. The teeth of the first tape and the teeth of the second tape can interlock or separate. The core member has a first fixed end, a second fixed end, and a connecting portion located between the first fixed end and the second fixed end. The first fixed end is either fixed directly to the first shell or to the first shell by a first annular guard member. The second fixed end is either fixed directly to the second shell or to the second shell by a second annular guard member. The connecting portion is positioned to span between the first annular opening edge and the second annular opening edge, shielding the inner layer line fastener. The distance between the first annular opening edge and the second annular opening edge when the teeth of the first tape and the teeth of the second tape are separated is greater than the distance between the first annular opening edge and the second annular opening edge when the teeth of the first tape and the teeth of the second tape are engaged.
[0006] Due to the structural features described above, the inner layer zipper is installed inside the expandable carry bag and is shielded and protected by the first annular guard member, the second annular guard member, and the core member, thus the expandable carry bag has the function of expanding its storage space. Furthermore, since the inner layer zipper is not exposed, it is not possible to open the inner layer zipper from the outside of the expandable carry bag, and the appearance of the expandable carry bag is simplified.
[0007] In relatively favorable cases, the fixed end of the first tape is indirectly secured to the inner surface of the first shell by the first annular guard member. The fixed end of the second tape is indirectly secured to the inner surface of the second shell by the second annular guard member. Due to the structural features described above, when the first and second tapes of the inner layer fastener are damaged, they can be removed from the first and second annular guard members and replaced. The efficiency of the assembly work can be improved by securing the first annular guard member and the first tape to the first shell by sewing or another fastening method, and securing the second annular guard member and the second tape to the second shell.
[0008] In a relatively favorable case, the first fixed end of the core member is indirectly fixed to the outer surface of the first shell by the first annular guard member. The second fixed end of the core member is indirectly fixed to the outer surface of the second shell by the second annular guard member. Due to the structural features described above, when the core member is damaged, the core member can be replaced by separating the first fixed end from the first annular guard member and the second fixed end from the second annular guard member.
[0009] In relatively preferable cases, the first fixed end of the interlining member is indirectly fixed to the outer or inner surface of the first shell by the first annular guard member. The second fixed end of the interlining member is indirectly fixed to the outer or inner surface of the second shell by the second annular guard member. Due to the structural features described above, when the interlining member is damaged, the interlining member can be replaced by separating the first fixed end from the first annular guard member and the second fixed end from the second annular guard member. Furthermore, the efficiency of the assembly work can be improved by separately fixing the first and second fixed ends of the interlining member to the first and second annular guard members by sewing or another fixing method, and then separately fixing the first and second annular guard members to the first and second shells.
[0010] In a relatively preferred case, the first annular guard member has a first fitting portion and a first shielding portion. The first fitting portion is fitted and fixed to the edge of the first annular opening of the first shell. The first shielding portion is positioned extending outward from the first fitting portion to the outer surface of the first shell. The second annular guard member has a second fitting portion and a second shielding portion. The second fitting portion is fitted and fixed to the edge of the second annular opening of the second shell. The second shielding portion is positioned extending outward from the second fitting portion to the outer surface of the second shell. In the inner layer line fastener, the fixed end of the first tape is fixed to the first fitting portion, and the fixed end of the second tape is fixed to the second fitting portion. The first fixed end of the core member is fixed to the first fitting portion and then shielded by the first shielding portion. The second fixed end of the core member is fixed to the second fitting portion and then shielded by the second shielding portion. Due to the structural features described above, when the first fitting part is fitted to the edge of the first annular opening and the second fitting part is fitted to the edge of the second annular opening, and the first annular guard member and the second annular guard member are damaged, they can be removed from the edge of the first annular opening and the second annular guard member from the edge of the second annular opening and replaced. The first shielding part and the second shielding part can shield the joint between the first fixed end and the second fixed end of the core member and the first fitting part and the second fitting part, thereby protecting the core member.
[0011] In a relatively preferred case, the first fitting portion has a first substrate, a first retaining plate, and a first connecting plate. The first retaining plate is parallel to the first substrate and connected to the first shielding portion. The first connecting plate is connected between the first substrate and the first retaining plate. The fixed end of the first tape of the inner layer wire fastener is fixed to the inner surface of the first substrate. The first annular opening edge is fitted and fixed between the first substrate and the first retaining plate. The second fitting portion has a second substrate, a second retaining plate, and a second connecting plate. The second retaining plate is parallel to the second substrate and connected to the second shielding portion. The second connecting plate is connected between the second substrate and the second retaining plate. The fixed end of the second tape of the inner layer wire fastener is fixed to the inner surface of the second substrate. The second annular opening edge is fitted and fixed between the second substrate and the second retaining plate. The structural features described above not only improve convenience when attaching and detaching the first fitting part, the second fitting part, the first annular guard member, and the second fitting member, but also allow the fixed end of the first tape of the inner layer wire fastener to be securely fixed to the inner surface of the first substrate of the first fitting part, and the fixed end of the second tape of the inner layer wire fastener to the inner surface of the second substrate of the second fitting part.
[0012] In a relatively preferable case, the interlining member has a first interlining and a second interlining. The first interlining and the second interlining each have an outer surface and an inner surface. The first interlining has an opposing first fixed end and a first connecting end of the interlining member. The second interlining has an opposing second fixed end and a second connecting end of the interlining member. The outer surfaces of the first connecting end and the outer surfaces of the second connecting end are in close contact with each other, connecting the first connecting end and the second connecting end. Due to the structural features described above, when the interlining member is folded and stored, the outer surface of the first interlining overlaps with the outer surface of the second interlining, providing stability.
[0013] In a relatively favorable case, when the teeth of the first tape and the teeth of the second tape of the inner layer fastener engage, the first interlining of the interlining member comes into close contact with the first connecting plate of the first mating portion. The first connecting end of the first interlining and the second connecting end of the second interlining are folded and stored between the inner surface of the first base plate of the first mating portion and the outer surface of the first tape of the inner layer fastener. In other words, the interlining member can be folded and stored in a predetermined space.
[0014] The detailed structure, features, assembly, or method of use of the expandable carry bag with an internal zipper according to the present invention will be clarified through the following detailed description of embodiments. Furthermore, it should be understood by anyone with common sense in the field of the present invention that the following detailed description and the embodiments presented herein are merely examples for illustrating the present invention and do not limit the scope of the claims of the present invention. [0016] The following describes the expandable carry bag with an internal zipper according to the present invention, based on the drawings. Note that in this specification, the present invention and its scope of application are not limited to descriptions relating to materials and shapes, arrangement methods and the number of parts, technical terms and directional terms. Directional terms such as up and down, left and right, top, bottom, inside, and outside are expressed based on the direction in which they are normally used.
[0017] (One embodiment) As shown in Figures 1 to 3, an expandable carry bag 1 with an internal layer zipper according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a first shell 10, a second shell 20, a first annular guard member 30, a second annular guard member 40, an internal layer zipper 50, and a core member 60.
[0018] The first shell 10 has opposing outer surfaces 101 and inner surfaces 102, and a first annular opening edge 10a. The first annular opening edge 10a is defined from the first shell 10. The second shell 20 has opposing outer surfaces 201 and inner surfaces 202, and a second annular opening edge 20a. The second annular opening edge 20a is defined from the second shell 20.
[0019] As shown in Figures 3 to 6, the first annular guard member 30 is integrally molded from plastic and has a first fitting portion 32 and a first shielding portion 34. The first shielding portion 34 extends outward from the first fitting portion 32 and to the outer surface 101 of the first shell 10. More specifically, the first fitting portion 32 has a first substrate 32a, a first retaining plate 32b, and a first connecting plate 32c. The first retaining plate 32b is parallel to the first substrate 32a and connected to the first shielding portion 34. The first connecting plate 32c is connected between the first substrate 32a and the first retaining plate 32b. The second annular guard member 40 is integrally molded from plastic and has a second fitting portion 42 and a second shielding portion 44. The second shielding portion 44 extends outward from the second fitting portion 42 and to the outer surface 201 of the second shell 20. More specifically, the second fitting portion 42 has a second substrate 42a, a second retaining plate 42b, and a second connecting plate 42c. The second retaining plate 42b is parallel to the second substrate 42a and connected to the second shielding portion 44. The second connecting plate 42c is connected between the second substrate 42a and the second retaining plate 42b.
[0020] The inner layer wire fastener 50 is composed of a first tape 52, a second tape 54, and a slider (not shown in the figure). The first tape 52 has opposing fixed ends 52a and engaging teeth 52b. The second tape 54 has opposing fixed ends 54a and engaging teeth 54b. The slider is mounted between the engaging teeth 52b of the first tape 52 and the engaging teeth 54b of the second tape 54. The engaging teeth 52b and 54b engage and disengage by the operation of the slider.
[0021] The lining member 60 is composed of a first lining 62 and a second lining 64. The first lining 62 has an outer surface 621 and an inner surface 622. The second lining 64 has an outer surface 641 and an inner surface 642. Specifically, the first lining 62 has opposing first fixed ends 62a and first connecting ends 62b. The second lining 64 has opposing second fixed ends 64a and second connecting ends 64b. The outer surface 621 of the first connecting end 62b and the outer surface 641 of the second connecting end 64b are in close contact with each other to connect the first connecting end 62b and the second connecting end 64b. The lining member 60 further has a connecting portion 66. The connecting portion 66 is located between the first fixed end 62a of the first lining 62 and the second fixed end 64a of the second lining 64. When proceeding with the attachment work, the first fixed end 62a of the first lining 62 is fixed by sewing to the outer surface of the first pressing plate 32b of the first fitting portion 32 and is shielded by the first shielding portion 34. The second fixed end 64a of the second lining 64 is fixed by sewing to the outer surface of the second pressing plate 42b of the second fitting portion 42 and is shielded by the second shielding portion 44. The fixing method of the first fixed end 62a of the first lining 62 and the first pressing plate 32b of the first fitting portion 32, and the fixing method of the second fixed end 64a of the second lining 64 and the second pressing plate of the second fitting portion 42 are not limited to this embodiment, and an adhesive member, a button, or another fastening method may be adopted.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in the present embodiment, the first annular guard member 30 is attached to the first annular opening edge portion 10a of the first shell 10. Specifically, the first annular opening edge portion 10a is fitted and fixed between the first substrate 32a and the first pressing plate 32b of the first fitting portion 32. The fixed end portion 52a of the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 and the first substrate 32a of the first annular guard member 30 are sewn together and fixed to the first annular opening edge portion 10a of the first shell 10. At this time, the first annular opening edge portion 10a is in close contact with the outer surface 32a1 of the first substrate 32a. The fixed end portion 52a of the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 is in close contact with the inner surface 32a2 of the first substrate 32a. In other words, in the present embodiment, since the fixed end portion 52a of the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 is fixed to the inner surface 102 of the first shell 10 by the first annular guard member 30, the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 is located inside the first shell 10. However, the present embodiment is not limited to the method of fixing the first annular guard member 30 and the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 to the first shell 10, and a method of directly fixing the fixed end portion 52a of the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 to the inner surface 102 of the first shell 10 may be adopted. Also, the first annular guard member 30 can smoothly perform the attachment and detachment operation of the first fitting portion 32 to the first annular opening edge portion 10a. Specifically, when the first annular guard member 30 or the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 is damaged, if the first annular guard member 30 is removed from the first annular opening edge portion 10a or the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 is removed from the first annular guard member 30, the replacement work can proceed. The first annular guard member 30 and the second annular guard member 40 are symmetrically arranged. That is, as shown in the figure, the relative positional relationship between the first annular guard member 30 and the first annular opening edge portion 10a, and the assembly property of the first annular guard member 30, the first shell 10 and the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50 are symmetric with the relative positional relationship between the second annular guard member 40 and the second annular opening edge portion 20a, and the assembly property of the second annular guard member 40, the second shell 20 and the second tape 54 of the inner layer wire fastener 50.
[0023] As shown in Figures 3 to 6, after the assembly is complete, the connecting portion 66 of the core member 60 is positioned to span between the first annular opening edge 10a and the second annular opening edge 20a, shielding the inner layer zipper 50. When the slider of the inner layer zipper 50 is operated, the teeth 52b of the first tape 52 and the teeth 54b of the second tape 54 separate, maintaining the expanded state (see Figure 6). At this time, the distance D2 between the first annular opening edge 10a and the second annular opening edge 20a is greater than the distance D1 between the first annular opening edge 10a and the second annular opening edge 20a when the teeth 52b of the first tape 52 and the teeth 54b of the second tape 54 interlock to maintain the stored state (see Figure 4). In other words, by operating the slider of the inner layer zipper 50, the core member 60 can be expanded or folded to expand the storage space of the expandable carry bag 1.
[0024] In this embodiment, the expandable carry bag 1 further has a front lid or front pocket (not shown in the figures). By opening the front lid or front pocket and pulling the slider of the internal zipper 50 inside the expandable carry bag 1, the expandable carry bag 1 can be maintained in an expanded state (see Figures 5 and 6) from its original state (see Figures 3 and 4). The structure of the front lid and front pocket has been disclosed in the prior art (e.g., Taiwan Utility Model Registration No. M559646), so a detailed description is omitted.
[0025] In this embodiment, the interlining member 60 is composed of two units, namely a first interlining 62 and a second interlining 64. The first interlining 62 and the second interlining 64 are connected to each other by sewing together the outer surfaces 621 of the first connecting end 62b and the outer surfaces 641 of the second connecting end 64b, which are in close contact with each other. Due to the structural features described above, when the slider of the inner layer line fastener 50 is pulled to engage the teeth 52b of the first tape 52 and the teeth 54b of the second tape 54, the connecting portion 66 of the interlining member 60 is folded, that is, the outer surface 621 of the first interlining 62 overlaps the outer surface 641 of the second interlining 64. Next, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, when the folded portion of the interlining member 60 is fitted between the inner surface 32a2 of the first substrate 32a of the first fitting portion 32 and the outer surface of the first tape 52 of the inner layer wire fastener 50, the entire interlining member 60 is folded and shielded by the first shielding portion 34 and the second shielding portion 44. The structure of the interlining member 60 is not limited to this embodiment, and even a single structure can perform the same function as an interlining member 60 consisting of two units. Compared to an interlining member with a single structure, an interlining member 60 consisting of two units is not only easier to fold but also offers relatively greater convenience when combined with other units.
[0026] In this embodiment, the first tape 52 and second tape 54 of the inner layer zipper 50, which are shielded and protected by the core member 60, the first annular guard member 30, and the second annular guard member 40, are made from waterproof material. Therefore, on rainy days or in humid environments, moisture will not penetrate into the interior of the expandable carry bag 1 through the gaps between the teeth 52b of the first tape 52 and the teeth 54b of the second tape 54 of the inner layer zipper 50. In other words, the contents inside the expandable carry bag 1 will not absorb moisture and become unusable.
[0027] To summarize the above, in the expandable carry bag 1 according to the present invention, the inner layer zipper 50 is installed inside the first shell 10 and the second shell 20 of the expandable carry bag 1 and is shielded and protected by the first annular guard member 30, the second annular guard member 40 and the core member 60, thereby enabling it to perform the function of expanding the storage space. Furthermore, since the inner layer zipper 50 is not exposed to the outside and cannot be opened from the outside of the expandable carry bag 1, it provides theft-proof and waterproof protection functions and enables a simplified appearance of the expandable carry bag 1.
[0028] The present invention is not limited in any way to the embodiments described above, and can be implemented in various forms without departing from the spirit of the invention. [Explanation of Symbols]
