Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to an attention attracting device for attracting the attention of a vehicle driver by vibration. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, attention-attracting devices have been used that are temporarily installed on roads to warn drivers by vibrating when a traveling vehicle runs over them. For example, one such attention-attracting device is a strip-shaped convex plate that is fixed to the road surface with bolts, and the vibration generated when the convex plate runs over the road is used to attract attention (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Although such strip-shaped convex plates have a structure that has a certain degree of weight, they tend to shift in the direction of travel of the vehicle that runs over them because their contact force (grip force) with the road surface is small. For this reason, it is necessary to fix them to the road surface with bolts or adhesive.
[0003] There are also some structures in which multiple ring members are arranged and connected in a plane, and are simply laid on the road (see, for example, Patent Documents 2 and 3). Attention-attracting devices with such structures have a high ground contact force with the road surface due to the shape and arrangement of the ring members. Therefore, compared to the band-shaped structure in Patent Document 1, they are lightweight, and have the characteristic of being less likely to slip even if they are not fixed to the road surface with bolts or the like.
[0004] Furthermore, in addition to the technology of Patent Document 3, there is a warning device in which weight members heavier than the annular member are attached to both ends of the warning device (see Patent Document 4). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2-96007 [Patent Document 2] JP 2006-2430 A [Patent Document 3] Publication No. 2010-168898 [Patent Document 4] JP 2020-2740 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] The attention-calling device with the above-mentioned structure must be designed not to shift in the direction of vehicle travel. In addition, since the attention-calling device is installed in a desired position only during construction, it is desirable that it be easy to install and remove.
[0007] In the technology of Patent Document 1, the attention-calling tool is fixed to the road surface with bolts, so there is no risk of it slipping off, but it takes time to set up and remove it. In particular, a bolt-fixing structure creates holes in the road surface, which can damage it. In addition, the attention-calling tool is heavy and not compact, so multiple workers are required to transport and set it up, which makes it difficult to work with.
[0008] On the other hand, in the technologies of Patent Documents 2 and 3, the attention-attracting tool is lightweight and is simply laid on the road surface, so that installation and retrieval work are very easy. In addition, even if the vehicle deviates in the traveling direction, the edge of the annular member bites into the road surface, so there is almost no deviation when a vehicle at the legal speed runs over it on a general road. However, since the attention-attracting tool is simply laid on the road surface and is not fixed thereto, when a vehicle at a speed higher than the legal speed (for example, the speed of a vehicle running on a highway) runs over the attention-attracting tool, the attention-attracting tool tends to jump up, and the amount of deviation in the traveling direction of the vehicle tends to increase. In addition, when a heavy vehicle with multiple axles (for example, a 10-ton truck) runs over it, the attention-attracting tool also tends to jump up.
[0009] Furthermore, the technology of Patent Document 4 can reduce the overall amount of misalignment compared to the technology of Patent Document 3. However, when comparing both ends and the center of the attention-attracting tool, the amount of misalignment in the center where there is no weight material is greater than the amount of misalignment in both ends where there is weight material, and this center portion protrudes forward during use, causing the attention-attracting tool to deform into an arch shape overall, which is a problem.
[0010] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a warning device that is easy to install and retrieve, and can minimize the amount of displacement even if a fast-moving or heavy vehicle runs over it. [Means for solving the problem]
[0011] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides an attention attracting device that includes a plurality of annular members connected across the width of a road in a manner that the outer peripheral ends of the annular members are adjacent to each other, and that is laid on the road to attract the attention of a driver of a vehicle passing through the road by vibrations generated when the driver runs over the annular members, the annular members including: Extending in the front-rear direction of the road, A reinforcing member is provided which passes through the center of the annular member, contacts the inner surface of the annular member at at least two points, and prevents the annular member from bouncing up due to the rebound force when the annular member is slammed against the road while the vehicle is traveling, and the reinforcing member has a harderness than the annular member.
[0012] The reinforcing member is formed in an I-shape that extends in the front-rear direction and contacts the inner surface of the annular member at two points. Furthermore, the reinforcing member may be formed in a Y shape that contacts the inner surface of the annular member at three points. Furthermore, the reinforcing member may be formed in a cross shape that contacts the inner surface of the annular member at four points.
[0013] Moreover, the plurality of annular members are arranged in a grid pattern. Furthermore, a plurality of the annular members may be arranged side by side so as to surround the periphery of one annular member. Furthermore, weight members heavier than the annular member may be attached to both left and right ends of the attention-attracting tool. Effect of the Invention
[0014] The attention-attracting tool according to the present invention is a tool that is constructed by connecting a plurality of annular members with their outer peripheral ends adjacent to each other across the width of a road, and is laid on the road to attract the attention of drivers of vehicles passing through the road by vibration. The annular members are provided with reinforcing members that pass through the center of the annular members and contact the inner surface of the annular members at at least two points, so that the deformation of the annular members that occurs when vehicles pass through them is kept perfectly round. In addition, the reinforcing members act to press the annular members downwards at the contact points with the annular members. Furthermore, the influence of wind that occurs when vehicles pass through is reduced. This minimizes the weight of the annular members, reducing the load of installation and recovery work, while increasing the rigidity of the annular members to minimize the jumping, thereby reducing the amount of deviation, and therefore the amount of deviation can be minimized even if a vehicle running at a high speed or heavy weight runs over it. BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THEINVENTION
[0016] (First embodiment) The attention-calling tool according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the left and right (road width) and the front and rear directions (driving direction) refer to the directions seen by the driver of a traveling vehicle, and are the directions shown in Fig. 1. Furthermore, the up and down directions refer to the directions perpendicular to the paper surface of Fig. 1, with the near side being the top.
[0017] As shown in Fig. 1, the attention calling tool 1 has annular members 2 arranged in a grid pattern, front to back and left to right. More specifically, the annular members 2 are arranged in two rows in the front to back direction and six columns in the left to right direction. These annular members 2 are connected to each other by flexible connecting members 13 (see Fig. 6). By utilizing this flexibility, the adjacent annular members can be folded so as to overlap each other in a staggered manner, as shown in Fig. 3(A) and Fig. 3(B).
[0018] 2, the annular member 2 is formed in a ring shape (annular shape) with a hollow center. More specifically, the annular member 2 is composed of three concentric rings, a first concentric ring 3A, a second concentric ring 3B, and a third concentric ring 3C, which have the same center, and these concentric rings 3A, 3B, and 3C are connected to each other by connecting parts 4 extending in the normal direction.
[0019] The annular member 2 is integrally molded from a resin material. This resin material is made of a hard synthetic resin that has a small repulsive force when the vehicle runs over it while traveling, has a high contact force with the road surface, and is resistant to wear.
[0020] 2, a connecting hole 5 is formed in the annular member 2 so as to penetrate the three concentric rings 3A, 3B, and 3C in the normal direction. The connecting hole 5 is arranged so as to face the adjacent annular member 2 when the annular member 2 is arranged.
[0021] The annular member 2 is a hollow ring-shaped member, so that its weight can be reduced to approximately 1 kg or less. Furthermore, the weight can be further reduced by providing arc-shaped elongated holes between the three concentric rings 3A, 3B, and 3C.
[0022] 1 and 2, the annular member 2 is provided with a reinforcing member 20. The reinforcing member 20 extends in the front-rear direction and has a so-called I-shape in plan view, with both front and rear ends contacting the inner surface of the first concentric ring 3A of the annular member 2 at two points. The reinforcing member 20 passes through the center P of the annular member 2 and is formed to have the same length as the diameter of the annular member 2. In other words, the reinforcing member 20 contacts the inner surface of the first concentric ring 3A facing the center P at two points, thereby providing effective reinforcement against forces acting in the front-rear direction of the annular member 2.
[0023] The hardness of the reinforcing member 20 is set to be higher (higher rigidity) than that of the annular member 2 in order to maintain the shape of the annular member 2 and to suppress resonance of vibration waves generated by the continuous passage of tires of a traveling vehicle. In addition, a resin material is safer and more preferable than a metal material.
[0024] In order to prevent damage caused by stress concentration, the cross-sectional shape of the reinforcing member 20 is a simple rectangular shape rather than a complex cross-sectional structure. Furthermore, the thickness of the reinforcing member 20 in the height direction is formed to be approximately the same as that of the annular member.
[0025] Both front and rear ends of the reinforcing member 20 are provided with protrusions (not shown) that fit into the connecting holes 5 of the annular member 2. By fitting these protrusions into the connecting holes 5, the reinforcing member 20 is attached in a manner that it contacts the inner peripheral edge of the annular member 2. The reinforcing member 20 may be provided by integrally molding the two different materials, the reinforcing member 20 and the annular member 2 (two-color molding).
[0026] On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 4, the attention calling tool 1 may have one row of weight materials 10 on each of the left and right sides of the attention calling tool 1 arranged in a grid pattern.
[0027] 5, the weight material 10 is formed in a disk shape having the same outer circumferential shape as the annular member 2. The weight material 10 is molded from a synthetic resin material or a hard rubber material. For these materials, materials that have a small repulsive force with the road surface, a high ground contact force with the road surface, and are resistant to wear are selected and used.
[0028] The weight material 10 has four gripping parts 11 formed at intervals of approximately 90 degrees in the circumferential direction. These gripping parts 11 are large elongated holes that penetrate vertically, and are used by workers to grasp and lift the attention calling tool 1 shown in Fig. 1 when lifting it and folding it in a staggered manner.
[0029] Moreover, the weight material 10 is not formed in a ring shape like the annular member 2, and has no cavity in the center. This is to increase the contact area between the weight material 10 and the road surface and to increase the grip (ground contact force). Also, this is to make the weight material 10 heavier than the annular member 2.
[0030] The edge 11A on the outer periphery of the grip 11 is formed into a substantially arc shape. More specifically, the shape of the edge 11A is formed so as to substantially match the inner curvature of the first concentric ring 3A of the annular member 2. The weight material 10 is provided with connection holes 12 that penetrate in the normal direction from the four edge portions 11A to the outer periphery.
[0031] The connecting holes 12 of this weight material 10 are compatible with the connecting holes 5 of the annular member 2, and as shown in Fig. 5, the connecting member 13 can be inserted from the annular member 2 side (or the weight material 10 side) and then passed through to the adjacent weight material 10 side (or the annular member 2 side) to be fixed. In this way, one connecting member 13 can be used to connect two annular members 2 together, and the weight material 10 and the annular member 2 can also be connected using the same work procedure.
[0032] That is, the weight material 10 can be connected to the annular members 2 as an extension to an attention-attracting tool already in use at the site, or some of the annular members 2 can be replaced with the weight material 10 and connected together. Similarly to the annular members 2, the weight materials 10 can also be connected to each other with flexible connecting members 13, allowing them to be folded alternately (see FIG. 3).
[0033] The above-mentioned arrangement of the annular members 2 and the weight materials 10 is one example, and the number of columns can be increased or decreased according to the width of the road on which the device is to be installed. Also, the number of rows can be increased.
[0034] Next, the operation of the attention calling tool 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described. The attention warning device 1 is placed so that the left-right direction as shown in Fig. 1 faces the width of the road, and vehicles traveling in the forward-backward direction will run over it. At this time, the grip force between the attention warning device 1 and the road surface (grip force in the direction of slippage) is borne by the annular member 2. This grip force is generated when each annular edge of the annular member 2 bites into the road surface. In addition, because it has a ring-shaped structure, grip force is generated evenly in all directions of 360 degrees with respect to the road surface, so it is difficult to slip even if a slipping force acts in any direction.
[0035] On the other hand, when a fast-moving vehicle runs over the ring-shaped member 2, the ring-shaped member 2 is slammed hard against the road surface by the impact force of the passing vehicle's tires, and the repulsive force causes the ring-shaped member 2 to be lifted upward (fluttering, bouncing, deformation). This fluttering is caused by vibration waves and resonance, which reduces the grip force. Experiments have also shown that the repulsive force increases as the vehicle speed increases.
[0036] The reinforcing members 20 function to disperse, cushion, and attenuate the repulsive force caused by this flapping, and suppress the bouncing up of the annular member 2. More specifically, they act to keep the deformation of the annular member 2 that occurs while vehicles are passing (gradual elliptical deformation over time and instantaneous circular distortion) in a perfect circle. Furthermore, by providing the reinforcing members 20 on all of the annular members 2, they act to correct the overall distortion of the attention-attracting device 1 and ensure the overall stability.
[0037] Furthermore, the reinforcing member 20 acts to press down the annular member 2 at the portion in contact with the annular member 2 to prevent the annular member 2 from springing up.
[0038] Furthermore, by making the reinforcing material I-shaped, the effect of wind blowing in when a vehicle passes is reduced. More specifically, by making the reinforcing material I-shaped and reducing the area of the reinforcing material 20, the annular member 2 is prevented from being turned up by the wind.
[0039] In addition, by making the reinforcing member 20 I-shaped and ensuring a longer length in the front-rear direction, the tire presses down on (presses down on) the annular member 2 (or the reinforcing member 20) for a longer period while traveling. This allows the tire's pressing force to be used effectively for a longer period.
[0040] Furthermore, by attaching weight materials 10 heavier than the annular member 2 to both sides of the attention calling tool 1, it functions to press the annular member 2 downward on both the left and right sides.
[0041] 13 and 14 show experimental photographs of the attention calling tool 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. In this experiment, a 10-ton truck (with one tire on the front and two on the rear) passed over the attention calling tool 1 at a speed of 90 km / h, and the photographs were taken with a high-speed camera at the moment when the second rear tire ran over the attention calling tool 1.
[0042] When the front tire and the first rear tire pass over, the ring-shaped member 2 of the attention-attracting device 1 is likely to be strongly struck against the road surface and bounce up. Therefore, when the second rear tire runs over, the amount of bounce and deformation becomes maximum.
[0043] In Fig. 13, the reinforcing member 20 is not provided, and it can be seen that the annular member 2 is deformed and lifted up at part A. In contrast, in Fig. 14, the reinforcing member 20 is provided, and it can be seen that the deformation and lifting up at part A is suppressed.
[0044] Fig. 14 is a graph summarizing the values obtained by measuring the amount of lifting under various conditions using a high-speed camera. The conventional product shown on the far left does not have the reinforcing member 20, and corresponds to the state shown in Fig. 13. That is, the amount of lifting confirmed in Fig. 13 was 15.2 mm. In contrast, the conventional product + reinforcing material shown second from the left is one that includes reinforcing material 20, and corresponds to the state in Fig. 14. That is, the amount of lift confirmed in Fig. 14 is 3.8 mm, and it has been confirmed that the amount of lift is reduced by 11.4 mm compared to the conventional product.
[0045] According to the attention-attracting tool 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the annular member 2 is provided with a reinforcing member 20 that passes through the center P of the annular member 2 and contacts the inner surface of the annular member 2 at at least two points, so that the deformation of the annular member that occurs when a vehicle passes through is kept perfectly round. In addition, the reinforcing member 2 acts to press the annular member 2 downward at the portion that contacts the annular member 2. Furthermore, the influence of wind that occurs when a vehicle passes through is reduced. This minimizes the weight of the annular member 2, reducing the load of installation and recovery work, while increasing the rigidity of the annular member 2 to minimize the jumping, so that the amount of displacement can be minimized even if a high-speed or heavy vehicle runs over it.
[0046] In particular, the reinforcing member 20 extends in the front-rear direction and is formed in an I-shape that contacts the inner surface of the annular member at two points, so that it can be configured without blocking the area of the hollow portion of the annular member 2 more than necessary. Also, because the reinforcing member 20 extends in the front-rear direction, it can be made least susceptible to the effects of the wind that is blown in as described above. Furthermore, because it extends in the front-rear direction, the tire acts to step on (press down on) the annular member 2 (or the reinforcing member 20) for a longer period while traveling, so that the tire can effectively obtain the force of pressing down on the annular member 2 for a longer period.
[0047] In addition, since the multiple annular members 2 are arranged in a grid pattern, they can be easily folded alternately (see FIG. 3), and transportation and recovery can be easily performed.
[0048] While the attention-attracting tool according to the first embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications and alterations are possible based on the technical concept of the present invention.
[0049] For example, in this embodiment, the reinforcing member 20 is in an I-shape extending in the front-rear direction, but is not limited thereto. For example, as shown in Fig. 7, the reinforcing member 30 may be configured in a so-called Y-shape. This reinforcing member 30 extends in three directions from the center P of the annular member 2 to the inner side surface of the annular member 2, and is assembled in a manner in which it is in contact with each of the inner sides. In addition, this reinforcing member 30 extends so as to divide the circumferential direction into three equal parts (120°), and receives the force acting on the reinforcing member 30 by distributing it evenly in three directions, thereby preventing deformation of the annular member 2 caused by the repulsive force of the tire and making the reinforcing member 30 less likely to be damaged.
[0050] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, the reinforcing member 40 may be configured as a so-called cross-shaped reinforcing member. The reinforcing member 40 extends in four directions (four equal parts in the circumferential direction, 90°) from the center P of the annular member 2 to the inner surface of the annular member 2, front to back, left to right, and is assembled in a manner in which it is in contact with the inner surface. This allows the force acting on the reinforcing member 40 to be distributed evenly in four directions, and the internal stress acting on the entire attention-attracting tool 1 can be received in a well-balanced manner by the adjacent annular members 2 cooperating with each other by making the shape symmetrical. This prevents deformation of the annular member 2 caused by the repulsive force of the tire, and makes the reinforcing member 40 less likely to be damaged. In addition, the tire will step on (press down) the annular member 2 (or the reinforcing member 40) for a longer period during travel, allowing the tire's pressing force to be used effectively for a longer period.
[0051] In addition, other reinforcing members such as I-shaped (contacting the inner surface of the annular member 2 at two points), Y-shaped (contacting at three points), and cross-shaped (contacting at four points) can also be applied as long as they pass through the center P of the annular member 2 and contact the inner surface of the annular member 2 at at least two points. In other words, a reinforcing member with an optimal shape can be applied, taking into account the weight, rigidity, deformation, etc. of the annular member 2.
[0052] Second embodiment The attention calling tool 101 according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Note that, as in the first embodiment, up and down, left and right (road width), and front and rear directions (driving direction) used in the following description refer to directions as seen by the driver of a traveling vehicle, and are shown in Fig. 9. Also, up and down refer to directions perpendicular to the paper surface of Fig. 9, with the near side being the upper side.
[0053] In the following description, only the parts that differ from the first embodiment will be described, and the parts that are the same as those described in the first embodiment and have the same functions and effects will be given the same reference numerals and detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0054] As shown in Fig. 9, the attention calling tool 101 is formed by arranging and connecting six annular members 2 along the circumferential direction of the annular member 102 so as to surround the periphery of the centrally located annular member 102. As shown in Fig. 10, this attention calling tool 101 is arranged such that two attention calling tools 101, 101 are laid side by side across the lane width H. The two attention calling tools 101, 101 may be connected to each other at the center of the lane width H, or may be laid in a separated state.
[0055] The annular member 102 has the same shape as the six annular members 2, but is made of a material with high hardness. This annular member 102 functions as a reinforcing member for the six annular members 2. That is, the annular member 102 cooperates with the reinforcing member 20 to suppress deformation of the annular members 2 due to impact forces from the tires, and prevents flapping from occurring.
[0056] According to the attention-attracting tool 101 according to the second embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of annular members 2 are arranged side by side so as to surround one annular member 102, so that the overall length of the attention-attracting tool 101 in the front-rear direction is slightly longer than that of the first embodiment, and the rigidity against the force acting in the front-rear direction is higher. On the other hand, the number of annular members 2 used is smaller than that in the case where the arrangement of two rows in the first embodiment is changed to three rows in order to lengthen the front-rear direction. Therefore, the weight of the entire attention-attracting tool 101 can be kept light, and the load of the installation and retrieval work can be prevented from increasing. In addition, since two attention-attracting tools 101 are arranged side by side across the lane width H, one attention-attracting tool 101 is lighter than that of the attention-attracting tool 1 of the first embodiment, and the transportation and retrieval work can be facilitated.
[0057] While the attention calling tool according to the second embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications and changes are possible based on the technical concept of the present invention.
[0058] For example, in the attention calling device 101 of the second embodiment, as shown in Figures 9 to 11, an I-shaped reinforcing member 20 is attached to an annular member 2, but it is of course also possible to use a Y-shaped reinforcing member 30 or a cross-shaped reinforcing member 40.
[0059] In addition, the annular members 2 may be arranged in various ways, but a staggered arrangement is currently used (see FIG. 12). Even in such a staggered arrangement, by providing an I-shaped reinforcing member 20, it is possible to prevent deformation of the annular members 2 caused by the repulsive force of the tire and to improve the strength of the entire attention calling tool 201 in the front-rear direction.
[0060] Also, for the attention calling tool 201, instead of the I-shaped reinforcing member 20, a Y-shaped reinforcing member 30 or a cross-shaped reinforcing member 40 may be used. [Explanation of symbols]
