Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a wristlet formed by elements hinged together, in particular by links at least partly made of a rigid material. The invention also relates to a piece, including a timepiece such as a watch or a piece of jewelry, comprising said wristlet. [Background technology]
[0002] In the watchmaking or jewelry manufacturing industry, various materials are used to manufacture wristlets with various appearances. In particular, it is known to manufacture wristlets made of hard materials. By hard materials, it is to be understood that they are materials with a Vickers hardness of more than 1,200 HV. For example, these hard materials are ceramics such as silicon nitride, zirconium oxide or aluminum oxide. They may also consist of cermets. Hard materials are used in particular for their mechanical properties of being scratch-resistant.
[0003] A disadvantage of these materials is that they are brittle with a high risk of breaking when the links are moved or struck against one another during machining of the links and during handling of the wristlet. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by providing an assembly between the links that makes it possible to control the amplitude of rotation of the links so as to avoid collisions. [Means for solving the problem]
[0005] For this purpose, the connecting rods connecting the different rows of links of the wristlet include a shoulder that fits into a cavity formed in the links of the central row, the cavity being bounded by two bunkings that limit the angular movement of the links of the central row relative to the connecting rod.
[0006] More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing a medicament for use in a method for producing a medicament comprising the steps of: - a first row with at least one central link, the central link being provided with two through holes; - a second and a third row respectively arranged on either side of the first row, the second and the third row each comprising at least one transverse link, the transverse link being provided with two holes, referred to as the transverse link holes, the holes of the transverse links of the second row being aligned with the holes of the central links of the first row and with the holes of the transverse links of the third row, forming a set having three aligned holes; - a connecting rod disposed in three aligned holes, the connecting rod being fixedly attached to the lateral links of the second and third rows and forming an axis about which the central link is pivotally attached, The wristlet relates to a wristlet characterized in that the connecting rod is provided with a shoulder, and each hole of the central link opens at one of its ends into a cavity formed in said central link, said cavity being bounded by a first so-called inner wall closest to the center of the central link and a second so-called outer wall furthest from the center of the central link, the first and second walls acting as first and second bankings of the shoulder as the central link pivots about the connecting rod and limiting the amplitude of rotation of said central link about the connecting rod.
[0007] Thus, according to the invention, axles that act as joints and pivots between the links are used to limit the amplitude of rotation of the links and to absorb all or part of the stresses during abutment. These axles can be made of a material that is less stiff and therefore less likely to break than the links, since they are protected from the outside by the links. They can therefore be easily shaped by machining to create shoulders that allow the amplitude of rotation to be controlled.
[0008] Furthermore, the central link includes a protruding portion, also called a covering area, that extends between the lateral links to the second and third rows. This protruding portion of the central link as well as the lateral links have a specific shape that ensures that there is no contact between the protruding portion and the lateral links when the central link pivots, giving the wristlet an aesthetic feel. This lack of contact makes it possible to avoid stressing the links made of hard materials.
[0009] In conclusion, the assembly of the wristlet in accordance with the present invention allows for a controlled degree of mobility of the wristlet links made of a hard material, with the design including coverage areas to ensure its robustness while avoiding collisions or stresses on fragile portions made of the hard material during handling.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0012] The present invention relates to a wristlet 1 with at least three rows of links, a first row 8 with a central link 2, and a second row 9 and a third row 10 on either side of the first row 8 with transverse links 3. A partial view of this wristlet 1 with two adjacent central links 2 and two transverse links 3 is shown in FIG. 1. For example, this wristlet is intended to be equipped in a timepiece, such as a wristwatch, or in an article of jewelry. More specifically, the assembly as described below is suitable for a wristlet in which some links are at least partially made of a hard material. A hard material is to be understood as a material having a hardness substantially equal to or greater than 1,200 HV and which is little or does not withstand any plastic deformation before fracture. Hard materials can include, but are not limited to, enamel, precious or non-precious stones, such as ruby, sapphire, or quartz, ceramics, such as oxides, carbides, or nitrides, ceramels, or hard metals. It should be noted that the assembly is particularly suited to links made of hard materials, but is also compatible with links made of more ductile materials.
[0013] According to the invention, the amplitude of rotation of the central link 2 is limited, as illustrated in Figures 4B and 6C. For this purpose, the connecting rod 4 between the central link 2 and the two lateral links 3 includes a shoulder 5 that rests against the walls 6b, 6c of the cavity 6 formed in the central link 2 when it pivots (Figures 2A and 3). Advantageously, the connecting rod is made of a low hardness material, such as steel or a titanium alloy, to facilitate machining. Typically, the material of the connecting rod has a hardness of less than 1,200 HV.
[0014] In a known manner, the central link 2 comprises two through holes 2a each intended to receive a connecting rod 4, also called axle, and each of the transverse links 3 comprises two blind or through holes 3a to accommodate the ends of the connecting rod 4 (Fig. 2A and Fig. 8). According to the invention, the through holes 2a of the central link 2 open into a cavity 6 formed in the central link 2, but only at one end of each through hole (Fig. 3). In each central link, it is possible to form cavities for the two through holes on the same face of the central link, as shown in Fig. 2A, or to form a cavity for the through hole on the face of the central link and for the other through hole on the other face of the central link, respectively, as for the assembly in Fig. 2B.
[0015] According to the invention, the connecting rod 4 is fixed to the transverse link 3, the central link 2 having a relative movement in rotation with respect to this block fixed around the axis formed by the connecting rod. There are several possibilities for a reliable connection between the connecting rod and the transverse link. Preferably, the connecting rod has a portion with a non-circular cross section at its two ends, which is arranged in a part of the blind or through hole of the transverse link, which is also provided with a non-circular cross section. For example, the portion with a non-circular cross section of the connecting rod comprises at least one flat surface arranged against the inner plane of the hole of the transverse link. In the illustrated example, the portion with a non-circular cross section of the connecting rod 4 comprises, for example, two diametrically opposed flat surfaces 4a, which are arranged against two planes 3b that delimit the blind or through hole 3a of the transverse link 3 (FIGS. 3 and 7). The fixing of the connecting rod 4 in the transverse link 3 can in this case be achieved using a screw 7 arranged at one end of the through hole 3a as shown in FIGS. 2A and 2B. The fixing can also be achieved by gluing in the blind or through hole of the transverse link. Alternatively, the fixing of the connecting rods in the holes of the transverse links can be achieved simply by gluing, without the need for non-circular portions at either end of the connecting rod.
[0016] The amplitude of the relative rotational movement between the connecting rod 4 and the central link 2 is limited by the shoulder 5 of the connecting rod 4, which abuts either the first banking 6b or the second banking 6c of the cavity 6 of the central link 2 due to the pivoting of the central link 2. Preferably, the shoulder 5 extends radially from the connecting rod 4 as a circular arc. The circular arc 5a is connected to the connecting rod 4 by a first side 5b and a second side 5c, which abut either the first banking 6b or the second banking 6c (FIG. 3). The first banking 6b is formed by the innermost wall of the cavity, i.e. the wall closest to the center of the central link, in contrast to the second banking 6c, which is formed by the outermost wall relative to the center of the central link. Preferably, two connecting rods and their shoulders are configured in the cavity of the central link so as to bend the wristlet in the direction of the inside of the wristlet, as illustrated in FIG. 6A. For this purpose, in the central link, the two connecting rods are arranged at different angles in two through holes. In the flat position, the shoulders 5 of the two connecting rods 4 abut against the inner wall 6b of the cavity 6 (FIG. 4A). Thus, in one connecting rod, it is the first side 5b that abuts against the inner wall 6b of the cavity, and in the other connecting rod, it is the second side 5c that abuts against the inner wall 6b of the cavity (FIG. 5C). In the fully pivoted position, the shoulders 5 of the two rods abut against the outer wall 6c of the cavity 6 (FIG. 4B). Thus, in one connecting rod, it is the second side 5c that abuts against the outer wall 6c of the cavity, and in the other connecting rod, it is the first side 5b that abuts against the outer wall 6c of the cavity (FIG. 6C). The cavity 6 formed at the end of the through hole also widens as a circular arc, the length of the circular arc 6c of the cavity 6 being greater than the length of the circular arc 5a of the shoulder 5, allowing the shoulder 5 to pivot within the cavity. The arc length of the cavity compared to the arc length of the shoulders allows to define the range of angular movement of the central link relative to the connecting rod. Typically, the amplitude of rotation of the central link relative to the connecting rod is less than or equal to 150°, preferably less than or equal to 60°. In the illustrated example, each central link 2 has a rotation amplitude of 60°, allowing up to 120° of pivoting between two adjacent lateral links 3 after two adjacent central links have rotated 60°, as diagrammed in Figures 5C and 6C.
[0017] Preferably, the transverse link 3 has two circular lugs 3c arranged in a circular recess 2c formed in the protruding portion 2b of the central link 2 arranged between the two through holes 2a (Fig. 5D and Fig. 11). The protruding portion 2b of the central link 2 is interposed between the two transverse links 3 and forms, together with the transverse links 3, the second row 9 and the third row 10, respectively (Fig. 1). Typically, the protruding portion 2b of the central link 2 has a thickness substantially equal to that of the transverse links 3. The lugs 3c of the transverse links 3 fit in a non-contact manner in the circular recesses 2c of the protruding portion 2b of the central link. The lugs 3c of the transverse links are covered with a recessed portion 3d with respect to them (Fig. 5D). This recessed portion 3d is arranged in a non-contact manner opposite to the top 2d of the protruding portion 2b that hangs over the recess 2c. A space d between the top 2d of the protruding portion 2b and the recessed portion 3d of the transverse link 3 can be observed in Fig. 5D. The placement is done without contact so as not to stress the hard material.
[0018] The assembly of the different elements of the wristlet is carried out as follows: it can be carried out as in FIG. 2A, with all cavities of the central link formed on the same face of the link and therefore all connecting rods provided with a shoulder introduced through this face; it can also be carried out with cavities formed alternately on one face of the central link and on the other, as in FIG. 2B, with the connecting rods introduced in this same alternation. The assembly principle is practically the same in both cases and is described in relation to FIG. 2A and to FIGS. 8-11. FIG. 10 shows a simplified view, in which there is no central link.
[0019] The two connecting rods 4, more specifically the parts with flat surfaces 4a, are mounted in the respective holes 3a of the transverse link 3, the shoulders 5 of the connecting rods 4 being placed with axial clearance opposite the transverse link 3. The fastening between the connecting rods 4 and the transverse link 3 is carried out with a screw 7, which is introduced from one end of the through hole 3a of the transverse link to the recess of the connecting rod. Alternatively, the fastening can be carried out by gluing. The central link 2 is then fitted into one of the connecting rods 4, which fits with axial clearance into the cavity 6 of the central link 2 and has a shoulder 5 abutting the inner wall 6b of the cavity. Similarly, the central link 2 is fitted into the other connecting rod 4 of the transverse link 3, which still has a shoulder abutting the inner wall of the cavity. Finally, the other ends of the two connecting rods with flat surfaces are introduced into the transverse link and the fastening is carried out with two screws or by gluing. In this way, the entire wristlet is assembled. [Explanation of symbols]
