Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] Method for rolling and packaging wide wallpaper (embodiment) The present invention relates to a method for winding and packaging wide width wallpaper, which involves winding into a roll on a winding and rotating device and subsequently packaging the wallpaper in a container for shipping or storage. [Background technology]
[0002] Various methods and devices are known for packaging wallpaper, the main function of which is to wind the wallpaper around a hollow cylinder so that cylindrical rolls are formed for their subsequent transportation and further use in the construction process.
[0003] The most common method of packaging wallpaper is to roll it up onto a hollow cylindrical surface such as a tube.
[0004] Thus, a roller is known which is a hollow cylindrical tube for winding wallpaper along its length, the tube being provided with plugs at the ends [1], which essentially demonstrates the standard basic approach to the method of forming a package for wallpaper.
[0005] For example, a packaging machine for winding up materials in web form, such as textiles, nonwovens, wallpapers, etc., is known, as described in EP 1 145 989 A1 [2].
[0006] According to the solution presented there, a rigid pipe with a cylindrical cross section serves as a core for winding up material, in particular wallpaper, which is closed at both ends and contains a waterproof film container, which is in turn arranged in a cavity enclosed by the pipe, the waterproof container being a tubular film container adapted to the cross section and dimensions of the pipe.
[0007] The wallpaper is rolled up onto a rigid tube which acts as a winding core, with a waterproof container inserted into the cavity.
[0008] At the same time, both ends of the pipe are equipped with insertable or attachable conveying fasteners, which have flanges adapted to the inside or outside diameter of the pipe and a rectangular or square base plate, the length and width of each plate being greater than the diameter of the roll formed from the material to be wound onto the pipe.
[0009] As a result of the operations performed on the components of the packaging machine, the tube with the wound material is protected on both sides.
[0010] The device can use a film container closed by a weld scum and filled with a solid, liquid or paste-like material.
[0011] A drawback of the described technical solution is its rather inconvenient design, both for the process of assembling the product and for its subsequent transportation and use.
[0012] It should be noted that in the above examples, rolls resembling small tubes with a limited height ranging from about 40 cm to 110 cm are considered a form of wallpaper. If such wallpaper is used for wall covering, there will be numerous seams between the stripes, which will peel off and become loose over time, spoiling the overall picture.
[0013] Widescreen wallpaper is designed to achieve a "no seam" effect.
[0014] The technical essence closest to the invention described in the claims is the wide wallpaper winding device described in Chinese Registered Utility Model No. 203889729 [3].
[0015] This patent deals with the possibility of winding and packaging wide wallpaper by winding it on a cylindrical winding and rotating device, providing an even winding of the wallpaper thereon during rotation, forming a roll of successive overlapping wraps.
[0016] To solve this problem, in the present patent, the winding and rotating device is arranged above a base and comprises wall panels, between which several supporting pipes are mounted, which conditionally form the cylindrical shape of the winding and rotating device.
[0017] A coupling ring is fixed to both ends of each support pipe and attached to the aluminum guide roller. A transmission gear is fixed to the center of each wall panel. The rotating gear connects the outer rings of the wall panels.
[0018] When the aluminum guide roller rotates, the wallpaper will not be damaged by scratches on the support pipe.
[0019] The patented technical solution prevents deflection or uneven winding of the wallpaper.
[0020] However, this winding machine design is a complex technical structure, the creation of which requires a large number of different machine parts, their precise correlation during assembly and therefore a complex process of initiating and carrying out the wide wallpaper winding process.
[0021] Technically obtained wide wallpaper for delivery to the place of use is subject to packaging, but this procedure is not considered in the patent and is not simple in practice, requiring additional labor and financial costs. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0022] [Patent Document 1] European Patent Application Publication No. 1145989 [Patent Document 2] China Registered Utility Model No. 203889729 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0023] The technical problem that the present invention seeks to solve is the development of a method for rolling and packaging wide width wallpaper that provides a convenient and inexpensive maintenance process for placing and packaging the wallpaper in a container for shipping or storage once the wallpaper rolling is complete. [Means for solving the problem]
[0024] To solve the problem of achieving a particular technical result, at least two embodiments of the invention are possible.
[0025] According to a first embodiment of the invention, the problem is solved in a method for winding and packaging wide wallpaper by winding the wallpaper on a cylindrical winding and turning device, providing a uniform winding of the wallpaper thereon during the rotation and forming a roll consisting of successive overlapping wraps, due to the fact that the winding and turning device is made in the form of a hollow closed cylindrical tube made of a flexible material and is provided with a valve, through which air is pumped into the tube to form its cylindrical shape, the edges of the wallpaper are fixed along the length of the pumped cylindrical tube, the wallpaper is wound onto the tube until a roll of the required length is obtained, air is released from the tube via the valve until a flattened structure is obtained in the form of wallpaper layers arranged inside the tube, and the resulting flattened structure is arranged in several layers for packaging in containers for transport or storage with the possibility of subsequent pumping into the tube to form a cylindrical shape.
[0026] Further, in this embodiment, an edge corresponding to the width of the wallpaper is fixed along the length of the cylindrical tube using a fixing means such as glue, adhesive tape or other fixing means.
[0027] According to a second embodiment of the invention, the problem is solved due to the fact that in a method for winding and packaging wide wallpaper by winding the wallpaper on a cylindrical winding and turning device, providing a uniform winding of the wallpaper thereon during the rotation and forming a roll consisting of successive wraps overlapping each other, the winding and turning device is made in the form of a hollow closed cylindrical tube made of a flexible material and is provided with a valve, through which air is pumped into the tube to form its cylindrical shape and result in a set size of the tube diameter, the tube is formed from a part of a single piece of wallpaper material selected along the width of the wallpaper from the edge in the form of folds, the selected part of the wallpaper material is arranged in two layers along the width and fixed along the periphery of the side where the layer is formed, the remainder of the roll of wallpaper is wound on the tube until a roll of the required length is obtained, air is released from the tube via the valve until a flattened structure is obtained in the form of wallpaper layers arranged inside the tube, the flattened structure obtained is arranged in several layers for packaging in a container for transport or storage with the possibility of subsequent pumping into the tube to form a cylindrical shape.
[0028] At the same time, in both embodiments of the method, the valve is installed at one of the bases of a cylindrical tube, the material used to manufacture the tube being, for example, vinyl, PVC, polyethylene and other flexible materials.
[0029] The technical result achieved with the help of the embodiments of the claimed invention consists in simplifying the technological process of rolling and packaging wide-width wallpaper and, as a consequence, in reducing the financial and labor costs of carrying out its maintenance work.
[0030] This result is achieved due to the fact that in both embodiments of the claimed method a simple and inexpensive device for rolling up wallpaper is used in the form of a flexible cylindrical tube equipped with a valve for pumping air into it.
[0031] The dimensions of the tubes purchased separately in the first embodiment can be easily selected for any particular width wallpaper size, including wallpaper made by one web for the entire covered wall area. At the same time, the special production of such tubes for both standard and individual sizes of a particular wallpaper length and diameter does not present any difficulties, either technically or financially.
[0032] Now, in a second embodiment, the formation of a tube from wallpaper material is not only a technically simple and inexpensive process, but also greatly simplifies the auxiliary steps for use when rolling up the wallpaper.
[0033] The process of obtaining a flat design in the form of a wallpaper layer with the tubes arranged inside is ensured in both embodiments by simply releasing the air from the tubes via the valves.
[0034] In both embodiments of the method, subsequent placement of the flattened structure and its packaging in a container for shipping or storage is a simple standard operation.
[0035] The process of implementing the methods described in the claims uses inexpensive equipment and widely available auxiliary technical materials, which does not require significant financial costs.
[0036] A clear advantage of the present invention is the possibility of subsequently conveniently using the packaged wide wallpaper in the hanging process on the wall. In fact, the method described in the claims allows the wallpaper to be hung over the entire work surface by a single web, significantly simplifying the installation procedure by reducing the number of operations to be performed when hanging the wallpaper.
[0037] Finally, the proposed embodiment of the method provides a compact package for transporting or storing wallpaper rolls in containers, which excludes possible harmful effects of external environmental factors on the packaged material, prevents its contamination and loss of consumer properties, is easy to use, easily workable and provides reliable safety of the final product.
[0038] Furthermore, the guaranteed possibility of compact packaging of wide width wallpapers according to the invention significantly increases their availability and reduces the costs of transporting them to the installation site. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 10] 1 shows a roll of wallpaper packaged in a tube. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0044] The method is implemented as follows.
[0045] According to the method for rolling and packaging wide wallpaper made of flexible material according to the first embodiment (Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4), depending on the parameters of the wallpaper to be packaged, a tube 1 (Fig. 1) made in the form of a cylinder with a length corresponding to the width of the wallpaper is selected. For example, via a valve 2 located at one of the bases of the tube, air is pumped into the tube to form a rigid cylindrical shape capable of holding the rolled wallpaper in a vertical position during the process of hanging it on the wall.
[0046] The cylindrical tube is placed on an auxiliary working device convenient for the subsequent operation, and the edge of the wallpaper width is fixed to the tube along its length so that the wallpaper roll is parallel to the tube. The tube is then carefully rotated so that the wallpaper web 3 is evenly wound onto it (Figure 2), following the achievement of a smooth surface of its winding.
[0047] The result is a fully wound roll of wallpaper, the width and length of which are determined by the required dimensions corresponding to the dimensions of the wall surface to be papered.
[0048] Furthermore, from the tube 1, from which the wallpaper roll is wound up through the valve 2, the air contained in it is released until a flattened rectangular product is obtained, formed by the wallpaper 3 with a flattened tube 1 inside, represented along its length on both sides by a segment of a flattened base 4 (Figure 3).
[0049] The resulting rectangular products are then stacked in layers on top of each other (Figure 4) and hermetically packaged in containers of suitable size for subsequent transportation or storage. At the same time, the dimensions of the layers, and therefore the number of layers, correlate with the dimensions of the internal volume of the selected container.
[0050] According to the method for rolling and packaging wide wallpaper made of flexible material according to the second embodiment (Figs. 5, 6, 7, 8), the tube structure for the selected wallpaper to be packaged is formed from the wallpaper material shown in the form of a single roll 5 with a portion of the unfolded web 6 (Fig. 5). From the portion of the unfolded web 6, a segment 8 (Fig. 6) is separated, bending along the width of the wallpaper from the edge 7 towards the roll 5, to form a tube. When forming the tube, the wallpaper material of the segment 8 is arranged in two layers, which are fixed along the periphery of the sides. As a result, a tube 9 is obtained from the wallpaper material, on one of whose short sides a valve 10 is installed (Fig. 7).
[0051] Then, as in the first embodiment, air is pumped inside the tube 9 through valve 10 to form the tube into a rigid cylinder. The tube is gently rotated so that the wallpaper web of roll 5 is wound evenly onto it (FIG. 8), monitoring the achievement of a smooth surface of the winding.
[0052] The result is a fully wound roll of wallpaper, the width and length of which are determined by the required dimensions corresponding to the dimensions of the wall surface to be papered.
[0053] Furthermore, the air contained in it is released from the tube 9 around which the wallpaper roll is wound via the valve 10 until a flattened rectangular product is obtained (Figure 9) formed by the wallpaper roll 5 with the flattened tube 9 inside.
[0054] The resulting rectangular products are then stacked in layers on top of each other (Figure 10) and hermetically packaged in containers of suitable size for subsequent transportation or storage, with the dimensions of the layers, and therefore the number of layers, correlating with the dimensions of the internal volume of the selected container.
[0055] It should be noted that in both embodiments of the method, different materials can be used for the wallpaper that is rolled around the cylindrical tube, such as vinyl, PVC, polyethylene and other flexible materials. Additionally, paper can also be used as the wallpaper material in the first embodiment of the process.
[0056] If desired, consumers who purchase wide width wallpaper will have the opportunity to unpack the purchased packaged roll of wallpaper, perform all packaging steps in reverse order, and finally perform the wallpaper hanging steps independently.
[0057] Specific implementation examples of the method In developing the above-described embodiments of the method for rolling and packaging wide width wallpaper, experimental testing was carried out to test their feasibility of implementation.
[0058] Example 1. A standard fabric wallpaper, wound in roll form, measuring 2.7 m wide and 5.0 m long, was used to carry out the experiments.
[0059] To wind such wallpaper rolls onto tubes, samples were purchased in the form of hollow closed cylindrical products, the length of which was 2.75 m, corresponding to the width of the wallpaper, and the diameter of which was equal to 0.3 m. Such tubes allowed to reliably place the wallpaper perpendicularly in the process of further experiments.
[0060] Through a Lightblue helical valve [4] installed at one of the bases of the cylindrical tube, air was pumped into it using an Intex 68605 pump [5] until a rigid cylindrical shape was formed that ensured a stable vertical position of the pumped tube.
[0061] The pumped tube was placed along its length on an auxiliary device and the edges of the wallpaper were fixed on its cylindrical surface parallel to the axis using double-sided adhesive tape, after which the tube was rotated parallel to its axis, and the wallpaper was evenly wound around it so that a uniform cylindrical structure was formed.
[0062] The valve was then opened and air was released from the tube until a flattened structure was obtained consisting of a layer of wallpaper and a flattened tube centrally located between the wallpaper.
[0063] Considering the total length, the resulting product was placed in serpentine layers of 0.4 m from each other, thereby forming a compact structure with a height of 0.3 m, a length of 0.4 m and a width of 0.4 m. This structure was packaged for storage in a cardboard box with dimensions of 0.5 m x 0.4 m x 0.3 m.
[0064] The method therefore ensures a convenient solution to the problem of rolling and packaging wide width wallpaper, which can be effectively used for various economical purposes.
[0065] Example 2. In the course of this experiment, a standard cloth wallpaper 2.7 m wide and 6.0 m long, wound in a roll, was used, as in Example 1. From the edge of the roll in a horizontal position, a portion of the web 0.95 inches long was unwound along its width, so that when a cylinder was formed, a diameter of 0.3 m was obtained.
[0066] The unwound portion of the wallpaper web was folded across its width and sewn along the side edges to form a closed rectangular volume. A Lightblue spiral[4] valve was sealed into the centre of one of the short sides of the rectangle. Air was pumped into it through the valve using an Intex 68605 pump[5] until a rigid cylindrical tube 0.3 m in diameter and 2.7 m long was formed.
[0067] The pumped tube, together with the remaining part of the wallpaper roll attached to it, was placed longitudinally on an auxiliary device, and by subsequent rotation parallel to the axis of the tube, the roll wallpaper was wound evenly thereon to form a specific cylindrical structure.
[0068] The valve was then opened, allowing the air to escape from the tube, resulting in a flattened structure consisting of a layer of fabric wallpaper and a flattened tube of the same material centrally placed between the wallpaper.
[0069] As in the first embodiment, the resulting product was placed in serpentine layers measuring 0.4 m from each other to form a compact structure measuring 0.3 m in height, 0.4 m in length and 0.4 m in width. This structure was packaged for storage in a cardboard box measuring 0.5 m x 0.4 m x 0.3 m.
[0070] The method therefore ensures a convenient solution to the problem of rolling up and packaging wide wallpaper, which does not require additional equipment and can be effectively used for various economical purposes.
