Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a connector that is installed in an electronic device for electrical connection. [Background technology]
[0002] Connectors are provided in various electronic devices for electrical connection. For example, connectors are installed in electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, tablet computers, etc., and can electrically connect various components installed in the electronic devices to each other.
[0003] Generally, wireless communication devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs among electronic devices are equipped with an RF connector that transmits RF (Radio Frequency) signals, a board-to-board connector (hereinafter referred to as "board connector") that processes digital signals from cameras, etc.
[0004] FIG. 1 is a conceptual perspective view showing a conventional electrical connection method using a board connector.
[0005] Referring to FIG. 1, when a first module 11 and a second module 12 are arranged at a distance from each other in an electronic device 10, conventionally, the first module 11 and the second module 12 are electrically connected to each other using a first board connector 14 and a second board connector 15 that are electrically connected to each other through a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) 13.
[0006] The flexible circuit board 13 has flexibility, and enables electrical connection using the board connectors 14, 15 not only when the first module 11 and the second module 12 are separated from each other, but also when the first module 11 and the second module 12 are arranged facing in different directions from each other.
[0007] However, since the flexible circuit board 13 is more expensive than a typical printed circuit board (PCB), there is a problem in that the cost of electrically connecting the modules 11 and 12, which are spaced apart from each other, increases. Moreover, this problem becomes more serious as the distance between the first module 11 and the second module 12 increases. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a connector that can reduce the cost of electrically connecting modules that are spaced apart from each other. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention may include the following configurations.
[0010] The connector according to the present invention may include a first RF contact for transmitting an RF (Radio Frequency) signal; a second RF contact arranged spaced apart from the first RF contact along a first axial direction; an insulating portion to which the first RF contact and the second RF contact are coupled; a cover shell to which the insulating portion is coupled; a first coaxial cable electrically connected to the first RF contact; a second coaxial cable spaced apart from the first coaxial cable along the first axial direction and electrically connected to the second RF contact; and a partition portion coupled to the cover shell such that the first RF contact and the first coaxial cable are arranged on one side and the second RF contact and the second coaxial cable are arranged on the other side based on the first axial direction. Effect of the Invention
[0011] According to the present invention, the following effects can be achieved.
[0012] The present invention is embodied to electrically connect a first module and a second module arranged at a distance from each other using a board connector and a flexible cable. Therefore, the present invention can realize electrical connection through a board connector using a coaxial cable, which is relatively inexpensive compared to a flexible circuit board, not only when the first module and the second module are arranged at a distance from each other, but also when the first module and the second module are arranged facing in different directions. As a result, the present invention can reduce the cost of electrically connecting a first module and a second module arranged at a distance from each other.
[0013] Since the present invention can transmit multiple RF signals using multiple coaxial cables, it can be suitably used in electronic devices such as mobile devices and antenna transceivers that require the transmission of multiple signals in a limited space.
[0014] The connector according to the present invention can realize a shielding function between coaxial cables by using a bulkhead. Therefore, the present invention can prevent RF signals from interfering with each other while implementing transmission of multiple RF signals using multiple coaxial cables. Therefore, the present invention can contribute to improving EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) shielding performance and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) performance between RF signals through coaxial cables by using a bulkhead. [0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of a connector according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0027] 2 to 5, the connector 1 according to the present invention can be installed in an electronic device (not shown) such as a mobile phone, a computer, a tablet computer, etc. The connector 1 according to the present invention can be used to electrically connect a plurality of modules (not shown) spaced apart from each other in the electronic device. The modules can be components used for communication in the electronic device, such as an antenna, a main board, etc. For example, when a first module and a second module are electrically connected, the first module can be an antenna module, and the second module can be a driving module for driving the antenna module, a transmitting / receiving module for transmitting and receiving signals to and from the antenna module, etc.
[0028] 2 to 5, a connector 1 according to the present invention can include a first RF contact 2, a second RF contact 3, an insulating portion 4, a first coaxial cable 5, a second coaxial cable 6, a bulkhead portion 7, and a cover shell 9.
[0029] The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 are for transmitting an RF (Radio Frequency) signal. The second RF contact 3 may be spaced apart from the first RF contact 2 along a first axis direction (X-axis direction).
[0030] The insulating part 4 is a part to which the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 are coupled. The insulating part 4 may be coupled to the cover shell 9. The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 may be connected to a first mating connector 111 of a first module 110 while being supported by the insulating part 4.
[0031] The first coaxial cable 5 is electrically connected to the first RF contact 2. The first coaxial cable 5 may be connected to a first mating connector 111 of the first module 110 through the first RF contact 2. Accordingly, the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the first module 110. Referring to FIG. 6, the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to a second module 120 disposed apart from the first module 110 while being electrically connected to the first module 110 using flexibility. For example, the first coaxial cable 5 may be directly electrically connected to the second module 120. For example, the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the second module 120 by being connected to a second mating connector (not shown) of the second module 120. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention may electrically connect the first module 110 and the second module 120 disposed apart from each other using the first coaxial cable 5.
[0032] The second coaxial cable 6 is electrically connected to the second RF contact 3. The second coaxial cable 6 may be connected to a first mating connector 111 of the first module 110 through the second RF contact 3. Accordingly, the second coaxial cable 6 may be electrically connected to the first module 110. Referring to FIG. 6, the second coaxial cable 6 may be electrically connected to a second module 120 disposed apart from the first module 110 while being electrically connected to the first module 110 using flexibility. For example, the second coaxial cable 6 may be directly electrically connected to the second module 120. For example, the second coaxial cable 6 may be electrically connected to the second module 120 by being connected to a second mating connector (not shown) of the second module 120. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention may electrically connect the first module 11 and the second module 120 disposed apart from each other using the second coaxial cable 6.
[0033] Therefore, the connector 1 according to the present invention can achieve the following effects.
[0034] First, the connector 1 according to the present invention is realized to electrically connect the first module 110 and the second module 120 arranged at a distance from each other using the first coaxial cable 5 and the second coaxial cable 6 having flexibility. Therefore, the connector 1 according to the present invention can realize an electrical connection through the first board connector 34 using the coaxial cables 5 and 6, which are relatively inexpensive compared to a flexible circuit board (13, shown in FIG. 1), not only when the first module 110 and the second module 120 are separated from each other but also when the first module 110 and the second module 120 are arranged facing in different directions from each other. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention can reduce the cost for electrically connecting the first module 110 and the second module 120, when compared with the comparative example using a flexible circuit board (13, shown in FIG. 1).
[0035] Secondly, the connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied to transmit a plurality of RF signals using the first coaxial cable 5 and the second coaxial cable 6. Therefore, the connector 1 according to the present invention can be more suitably used in electronic devices such as mobile devices and antenna transceivers that require transmission of a plurality of signals in a limited space, compared to a comparative example that transmits a single RF signal using a single RF signal transmission cable.
[0036] 2 to 8, the bulkhead 7 is coupled to the cover shell 9. With respect to the first axis direction (X-axis direction), the first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 may be disposed on one side of the bulkhead 7, and the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 may be disposed on the other side of the bulkhead 7. That is, the bulkhead 7 may be disposed between the first RF contact 2, the first coaxial cable 5, the second RF contact 3, and the second coaxial cable 6. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention may implement a shielding function between the first coaxial cable 5, the first RF contact 2, the second coaxial cable 6, and the second RF contact 3 by using the bulkhead 7. Therefore, the connector 1 according to the present invention may be implemented to transmit a plurality of RF signals by using a plurality of coaxial cables, while preventing the RF signals from interfering with each other. For example, the connector 1 according to the present invention can shield a first signal line formed by electrically connecting the first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 and a second signal line formed by electrically connecting the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 by using the bulkhead 7. Therefore, the connector 1 according to the present invention can contribute to improving EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) shielding performance and EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) performance between RF signals through coaxial cables by using the bulkhead 7. The bulkhead 7 can be made of a material having electrical conductivity. For example, the bulkhead 7 can be made of a metal. The bulkhead 7 can be connected to a first mating ground contact (not shown) of the first mating connector 111 of the first module 110 to be grounded.
[0037] Hereinafter, the first RF contact 2, the second RF contact 3, the insulating portion 4, the first coaxial cable 5, the second coaxial cable 6, the partition portion 7, and the cover shell 9 will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0038] 2 to 8, the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 are for transmitting an RF (Radio Frequency) signal. The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 can transmit a very high frequency RF signal. The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 can be supported by the insulating part 4. The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 can be coupled to the insulating part 4 through an assembly process. The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 can be molded integrally with the insulating part 4 through injection molding.
[0039] The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 may be spaced apart from each other based on the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 may be electrically connected to the first module 110 by being connected to the first mating connector 111. When the connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied as a plug connector, the first mating connector 111 may be embodied as a receptacle connector. When the connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied as a receptacle connector, the first mating connector 111 may be embodied as a plug connector.
[0040] Meanwhile, in Figs. 2 to 12, the connector 1 according to the present invention is illustrated as including two RF contacts, i.e., the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3, but is not limited thereto, and the connector 1 according to the present invention may include three or more RF contacts. In this case, the connector 1 according to the present invention may include a coaxial cable corresponding to the number of RF contacts. For example, when the connector 1 according to the present invention includes three RF contacts, the coaxial cable may also include three coaxial cables. In this specification, the connector 1 according to the present invention will be described based on the case where the connector 1 includes two RF contacts, i.e., the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3. It will be obvious to a person skilled in the art to which the present invention belongs to that it is possible to derive an embodiment in which the connector 1 according to the present invention includes three or more RF contacts and a coaxial cable from this.
[0041] The first RF contact 2 may include a first RF coupling member (22, shown in FIG. 11), and the first RF connecting member (21, shown in FIG. 11).
[0042] The first RF connection member 22 is electrically connected to the first coaxial cable 5. The first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the first RF connection member 21 through the first RF connection member 22. Accordingly, the first coaxial cable 5 may be connected to the first mating connector 111 through the first RF connection member 21. The first RF connection member 22 may be disposed inside the insulating part 4. The first RF connection member 22 may be molded integrally with the insulating part 4 through injection molding.
[0043] The first RF connection member 21 is intended to be connected to the first mating connector 111. The first RF connection member 21 may be connected to an RF contact of the first mating connector 111. Accordingly, the first coaxial cable 5 may be connected to the first mating connector 111. The first RF connection member 21 may be coupled to the insulating part 4 so as to be exposed to the outside. The first RF connection member 21 may be connected to the first mating connector 111 through a connection hole (not shown) formed in the cover shell 9. The first RF connection member 21 may be positioned on a first RF protrusion 41 of the insulating part 4. For this purpose, the first RF connection member 21 may be bent downward (in the direction of the arrow DD) from the first RF connection member 22. The first RF protrusion 41 is formed to protrude downward (in the direction of the arrow DD) from the insulating body 40 of the insulating part 4 so as to be positioned in the connection hole. Accordingly, when the first RF protrusion 41 is inserted into an RF receiving groove (not shown) of the first mating connector 111 , the first RF connection member 21 can be electrically connected to the RF connection member of the first mating connector 111 .
[0044] The first RF contact 2 may be made of an electrically conductive material, for example, a metal.
[0045] The second RF contact 3 may include a second RF connection member (not shown) and a first RF connection member (31, shown in FIG. 12). The second RF connection member is electrically connected to the second coaxial cable 6. The second coaxial cable 6 may be electrically connected to the second RF connection member 31 through the second RF connection member. Accordingly, the second coaxial cable 6 may be connected to the first mating connector 111 through the second RF connection member 31. The second RF connection member 32 may be disposed inside the insulating part 4. The second RF connection member 32 may be molded integrally with the insulating part 4 through injection molding.
[0046] The second RF connection member 31 is for connection to the first mating connector 111. The second RF connection member 31 may be located on the second RF protrusion 42 of the insulating part 4. The second RF protrusion 42 is located in the connection hole and is spaced apart from the first RF protrusion 41 along the first axis direction (X-axis direction). Since it roughly corresponds to the first RF connection member 21 of the first RF contact 2, a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0047] The insulating part 4 supports the first RF contact 2, the second RF contact 3, the first coaxial cable 5, and the second coaxial cable 6. The first RF contact 2, the second RF contact 3, the first coaxial cable 5, and the second coaxial cable 6 may be coupled to the insulating part 4. The insulating part 4 may be formed of an insulating material.
[0048] The insulating part 4 may include an insulating body (40, shown in FIG. 5), a bulkhead groove (43, shown in FIG. 5), a first cable receiving groove (44, shown in FIG. 5), and a second cable receiving groove (45, shown in FIG. 5).
[0049] The insulation body 40 forms the overall outer shape of the insulation part 4. The insulation body 40 may be accommodated inside the cover shell 9. The bulkhead groove 43 is for accommodating the bulkhead part 7. The bulkhead groove 43 may be realized by forming a groove to a predetermined depth from the upper surface of the insulation body 40. The bulkhead part 7 may be inserted into the bulkhead groove 43 to be coupled to the insulation part 4. The first cable accommodating groove 44 is for accommodating the first coaxial cable 5. The first cable accommodating groove 44 may be realized by forming a groove to a predetermined depth from the upper surface of the insulation body 40. The first coaxial cable 5 may be inserted into the first cable accommodating groove 44 to be coupled to the insulation part 4. The first RF connection member 22 and the first coaxial cable 5 may come into contact with each other through the first cable accommodating groove 44. The second cable accommodating groove 45 is for accommodating the second coaxial cable 6. The second cable receiving groove 45 may be implemented by forming a groove of a predetermined depth from an upper surface of the insulation body 40. The second coaxial cable 6 may be inserted into the second cable receiving groove 45 and coupled with the insulation part 4. The second RF connection member and the second coaxial cable 6 may come into contact with each other through the second cable receiving groove 45.
[0050] The first coaxial cable 5 is for electrically connecting the first module 110 and the second module 120 disposed apart from each other. One side of the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the first module 110, and the other side may be electrically connected to the second module 120. In this case, the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the first module 110 through the first RF contact 2. The first coaxial cable 5 may include a first connection pin 51, a first inner insulating member 52, a first shielding member 53, and a first outer insulating member 54. The first connection pin 51 is electrically connected to the first RF connection member 21. The first connection pin 51 may contact the first RF connection member 21 through the first cable receiving groove 44 and be electrically connected to the first RF connection member 21. The first inner insulating member 52 is coupled to the first connection pin 51. The first internal insulating member 52 may be coupled to the first connection pin 51 so as to surround the outside of the first connection pin 51. The first connection pin 51 may be coupled to the first internal insulating member 52 so as to be partially exposed to the outside from the first internal insulating member 52. Accordingly, the first connection pin 51 may be embodied such that a remaining portion except for a portion electrically connected to the first RF connection member 21 is insulated. The first internal insulating member 52 may be formed of an insulating material. The first shielding member 53 performs a shielding function for the first connection pin 51. The first shielding member 53 may prevent electromagnetic waves, RF signals, etc. generated from the first connection pin 51 from being radiated to the outside. The first shielding member 53 may be coupled to the first internal insulating member 52 so as to surround the outside of the first internal insulating member 52. The first shielding member 53 may be formed of a conductive material. For example, the first shielding member 53 may be formed of a metal. The first external insulating member 54 is coupled to the first shielding member 53. The first outer insulating member 54 may be coupled to the first shielding member 53 to surround the exterior of the first shielding member 53. The first shielding member 53 may be coupled to the first outer insulating member 54 such that a portion of the first shielding member 53 is exposed to the outside from the first outer insulating member 54. The first outer insulating member 54 may be made of an insulating material.
[0051] The second coaxial cable 6 is for electrically connecting the first module 110 and the second module 120 arranged apart from each other. One side of the first coaxial cable 5 may be electrically connected to the first module 110 and the other side may be electrically connected to the second module 120. In this case, the second coaxial cable 6 may be electrically connected to the first module 110 through the second RF contact 3. The second coaxial cable 6 may include a second connection pin 61, a second inner insulating member 62, a second shielding member 63, and a second outer insulating member 64. The second connection pin 61 is electrically connected to the second RF connection member 31. The second connection pin 61 may contact the second RF connection member 31 through the second cable receiving groove 45 and be electrically connected to the second RF connection member 31. The second inner insulating member 62 is coupled to the second connection pin 61. The second internal insulating member 62 may be coupled to the second connection pin 61 so as to surround the outside of the second connection pin 61. The second connection pin 61 may be coupled to the second internal insulating member 62 so as to be partially exposed to the outside from the second internal insulating member 62. Accordingly, the second connection pin 61 may be embodied such that the remaining portion except for the portion electrically connected to the second RF connection member is insulated from the outside. The second internal insulating member 62 may be formed of an insulating material. The second shielding member 63 performs a shielding function for the second connection pin 61. The second shielding member 63 may prevent electromagnetic waves, RF signals, etc. generated from the second connection pin 61 from being radiated to the outside. The second shielding member 63 may be coupled to the second internal insulating member 62 so as to surround the outside of the second internal insulating member 62. The second shielding member 63 may be formed of a conductive material. For example, the second shielding member 63 may be formed of a metal. The second external insulating member 64 is coupled to the second shielding member 63. The second outer insulating member 64 may be coupled to the second shielding member 63 to surround the exterior of the second shielding member 63. The second shielding member 63 may be coupled to the second outer insulating member 64 to have a portion thereof exposed to the outside from the second outer insulating member 64. The second outer insulating member 64 may be made of an insulating material.
[0052] 2 to 12, the bulkhead 7 is coupled to the cover shell 9. The bulkhead 7 is grounded to perform a shielding function. With respect to the first axis direction (X-axis direction), the first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 may be disposed on one side of the bulkhead 7, and the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 may be disposed on the other side of the bulkhead 7. Accordingly, the bulkhead 7 can prevent an RF signal generated from the first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 and an RF signal generated from the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 from interfering with each other. In addition, the connector 1 according to the present invention can increase the shielding between the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 without increasing the distance between the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3 through the bulkhead 7, thereby contributing to a miniaturization of a product.
[0053] The partition portion 7 may be made of an electrically conductive material. For example, the partition portion 7 may be made of metal. The partition portion 7 may be made of a thin plate made of metal. The partition portion 7 may be embodied as a plurality of plates overlapping with respect to the first axis direction (X-axis direction). The partition portion 7 may be connected to a mating ground contact of the first mating connector 111, thereby being grounded. The partition portion 7 may be coupled to the insulating portion 4 through an assembly process. The partition portion 7 may be coupled to the insulating portion 4 by being inserted into the partition groove 43.
[0054] The partition portion 7 may include a partition body (71, shown in FIG. 10) and a ground member (72, shown in FIG. 10).
[0055] The bulkhead body 71 is received in the bulkhead groove 43. The bulkhead body 71 may be received in the bulkhead groove 43 and disposed inside the insulating body 40. The bulkhead body 71 may be coupled to the cover shell 9. The bulkhead body 71 may be formed by bending a coupling line at which the cover shell 9 and the bulkhead body 71 are coupled. The first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 may be disposed on one side of the bulkhead body 71, and the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 may be disposed on the other side of the bulkhead body 71. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention can shield between the first RF contact 2 and the first coaxial cable 5 and the second RF contact 3 and the second coaxial cable 6 through the bulkhead body 71. The bulkhead body 71 may be formed of a thin plate made of a conductive material. For example, the bulkhead body 71 may be formed of a thin metal plate. The bulkhead body 71 may be formed of a plurality of plates.
[0056] The ground member 72 is connected to a mating ground contact of the first mating connector and is grounded. The ground member 72 may be formed to protrude from the bulkhead body 71. The ground member 72 may be formed to protrude from the bulkhead body 71 in a downward direction (in the direction of the arrow DD). The ground member 72 may be formed to protrude outward from the insulating body 40. The ground member 72 may be positioned in a connection hole of the cover shell 9. The ground member 72 may be positioned between the first RF protrusion 41 and the second RF protrusion 42 to shield the first RF contact 2 and the second RF contact 3. Meanwhile, the ground member 72 may be grounded through the cover shell 9. The ground member 72 may extend along a second axis direction (Y axis direction) perpendicular to the first axis direction (X axis direction) and be connected to the cover shell 9 and grounded.
[0057] 3 to 12, the cover shell 9 is coupled to the insulating part 4. The cover shell 9 may be coupled to the insulating part 4 so as to cover at least a portion of the insulating part 4. The insulating part 4 may be received in a receiving groove (not shown) formed in the cover shell 9. The rear surface of the cover shell 9 may be formed to be open so that the first coaxial cable 5 and the second coaxial cable 6 can be inserted. The first coaxial cable 5 and the second coaxial cable 6 may be coupled to the insulating part 4 through the rear surface of the cover shell 9.
[0058] The cover shell 9 can include a first cover shell 91 and a second cover shell 92 .
[0059] The first cover shell 91 accommodates the insulating part 4. The first cover shell 91 may have a connection hole (not shown) for exposing the first RF connection member 21 and the second RF connection member 31 to the outside while accommodating the insulating part 4. The connection hole may be formed through a lower part of the first cover shell 91. The first RF connection member 21 and the second RF connection member 31 are implemented to be connected to the RF connector of the first mating connector 111 through the connection hole. The first cover shell 91 may include a front shielding member (911, shown in FIG. 7), a left shielding member (912, shown in FIG. 7), a right shielding member (913, shown in FIG. 7), an upper shielding member (914, shown in FIG. 10), and a lower shielding member (915, shown in FIG. 10).
[0060] The front shielding member 911 is disposed in front of the insulating part 4 (in the direction of the FD arrow). The front (in the direction of the FD arrow) means a direction parallel to the second axial direction (in the direction of the Y axis). The front (in the direction of the FD arrow) may mean a direction from the first coaxial cable 5 or the second coaxial cable 6 toward the insulating part 4. Here, the horizontal plane (XY plane) refers to a plane parallel to the first axial direction (X-axis direction) and the second axial direction (Y-axis direction).
[0078] The partition portion 7 may extend forward (in the direction of the arrow FD) with respect to the second axial direction (Y-axis direction) to be connected to the front shielding member 911, and extend backward (in the direction of the arrow BD) with respect to the second axial direction (Y-axis direction) to be connected to the alignment portion 8. Accordingly, when the grounding member 72 of the partition portion 7 is grounded to a mating ground contact of the first mating connector 111, the front shielding member 911 may be grounded through the partition portion 7, and the alignment portion 8 may be grounded through the partition portion 7.
[0079] 9, 10 and 12, the cover shell 9 may include a first connection inspection window 93.
[0080] The first connection inspection window 93 is for inspecting whether the bulkhead portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected. The first connection inspection window 93 may be formed in the cover shell 9. The first connection inspection window 93 may be formed penetrating the upper shielding member 914. The first connection inspection window 93 may be formed in the upper shielding member 914 to be located at a point where the bulkhead portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention is embodied to be able to inspect whether the bulkhead portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected through the first connection inspection window 93 without separating the cover shell 9 from the insulating portion 4.
[0081] The cover shell 9 may further include the second connection inspection window 94. The second connection inspection window 94 may be disposed on an opposite side of the first connection inspection window 93 with respect to the alignment portion 8. The second connection inspection window 94 may be formed penetrating the second cover shell 92. The second connection inspection window 94 may be located at a point where the partition portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected. Accordingly, the connector 1 according to the present invention can inspect whether the partition portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected through the second connection inspection window 94 in addition to the first connection inspection window 93, so that it is possible to check whether the partition portion 7 and the alignment portion 8 are connected in various directions.
