Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an adjustment mechanism for a lower frame in a partition device, which can easily adjust the height of the lower frame of a frame body that holds a partition panel. [Background technology]

[0002] A type of partition device using double glass panels has been proposed in which the lower frame supporting the front and rear glass panels is made height adjustable, making it possible to deal with unevenness in the floor surface of a building (for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] A conventional lower frame adjustment mechanism is configured such that a fixed plate is hung across the upper ends of the front and rear side walls of an upward channel-shaped floor rail, and the lower frame is supported via a pair of front and rear countersunk adjuster bolts that are screwed downward into the screw holes in the fixed plate. A number of jacks that combine the fixed plate and the adjuster bolts are distributed and positioned along the length of the long floor rail and lower frame. The lower frame also has front and rear side wall portions that hang down along the outer surface of the floor rail (referring to the outer surface of each side wall of the floor rail, the same applies below), and the height-adjusted lower frame can be fixed by screwing each side wall portion to the corresponding side wall of the floor rail. [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2017-214753 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] In the conventional technology, the lower frame is supported by the adjuster bolts of the jacks, and the adjuster bolts cannot be rotated from the upper surface of the lower frame, so that the work of adjusting the height of the lower frame is not necessarily easy. In addition, the lower frame supported by the countersunk head of the adjuster bolts tends to be unstable.

[0006] Therefore, in consideration of such problems in the conventional technology, the object of the present invention is to provide a lower frame adjustment mechanism in a partition device, which supports the lower frame via reinforcing material and uses a jack that can be operated from the upper surface side of the lower frame, thereby significantly simplifying the work of adjusting the height of the lower frame. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] To achieve this objective, the present invention is configured to include an upward channel-shaped floor rail, a number of jacks to be placed within the floor rail, a downward channel-shaped reinforcing material that is stored in the floor rail so that it can slide up and down and is supported by the jacks, and a lower frame connected to the upper surface of the reinforcing material, and the jack can be operated from the upper surface side of the lower frame to adjust the height of the lower frame, and the lower frame has front and rear side wall portions that hang down along the outer surface of the floor rail, and each of the side wall portions supports a partition panel at the middle portion on the outer surface side, and abuts against the outer surface of the floor rail only via an inward protrusion with a mountain-shaped cross section that is formed integrally with the lower end.

[0008] The reinforcement material can be supported at both ends via receiving brackets attached to the left and right height-adjustable supports, and the height-adjusted reinforcement material can be screwed to the floor rails.

[0010] Furthermore, an auxiliary spacer can be attached to the jack and interposed between the top surface of the jack base and the bottom surface of the floor rail. Effect of the Invention

[0011] With this configuration, the jack placed inside the floor rail supports the reinforcing material stored in the floor rail, and can be operated from the top side of the lower frame to adjust the height of the lower frame that is integrated with the reinforcing material. In other words, the jack can be operated while checking the height of the lower frame, and the lower frame supported via the reinforcing material does not become unstable, thus simplifying the work of adjusting the height of the lower frame and improving workability. It is preferable to attach a removable cover material, for example, to the top surface of the lower frame after the height adjustment work to conceal the top surface of the lower frame and the operating part of the jack protruding therefrom in a neat manner.

[0012] When supporting both ends of the reinforcement material through brackets attached to height-adjustable supports, first adjust the height of the left and right supports to set each bracket to the same horizontal level at a specified height position, then support and store the reinforcement material in the floor rail through each bracket, and operate the jack to set the entire reinforcement material to the correct horizontal level, making the work of adjusting the height of the reinforcement material and the sill much easier and more reliable. Furthermore, by adjusting the height of the left and right supports, the entire frame of the partition device assembled and supported between them can be adjusted in height and level, making it easy to deal with unevenness in the floor surface of the building as well as height errors from the floor to the ceiling.

[0013] By screwing the height-adjusted reinforcement material to the floor rails, the overall structure is strengthened and it is also effective in preventing the lower frame from floating up in the event of an earthquake, for example.

[0014] The lower frame abuts against the outer surface of the floor rail, i.e., the outer surfaces of the front and rear side walls of the floor rail, via the protrusions at the lower ends of the front and rear side walls, making it possible to minimize front-to-rear tilt even when supporting a heavy partition panel such as a glass panel. Also, the slopes on the lower side of each protrusion make it easier to resiliently ride over the heads of the screws that fasten the reinforcing material to the floor rail when the side walls of the lower frame are lowered along the outer surfaces of the floor rail to install the lower frame on the top surface of the reinforcing material.

[0015] The auxiliary spacer attached to the jack can be, for example, interposed between the top surface of the jack base and the bottom surface of the floor rail, and can shift and expand the height adjustment range of the reinforcement material and lower frame of the jack upward, thereby dealing with large floor surface irregularities that exceed the height adjustment range of the jack. However, when the auxiliary spacer is attached to the jack, the front and rear side walls of the floor rail can be made higher as necessary. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 8] Auxiliary spacer configuration diagram DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0017] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0018] The adjustment mechanism for the lower frame of the partition device comprises a floor rail 11, a jack 12 in the floor rail 11, a reinforcing material 13, and a lower frame 21 (Fig. 1). However, multiple jacks 12 are arranged in the floor rail 11 which is long in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface of Fig. 1, and a cover material 14 is attached to the upper surface side of the lower frame 21.

[0019] The partition device is configured by assembling front and rear glass panels P, P... as partition panels to a frame body that combines a lower frame 21 on the floor F side, an upper frame 22 on the ceiling C side, left and right support columns S, and vertical frames 23, 23 on the S side (Figs. 1 and 2). However, for the sake of convenience in the following explanation, the left side of Fig. 1 and the upper side of Fig. 2 will be referred to as the front side, and the right side of Fig. 1 and the lower side of Fig. 2 will be referred to as the rear side.

[0020] The lower end of each glass panel P is supported on the front side and rear side of the lower frame 21 via the setting block 15. The upper, lower, left and right peripheral parts of the front and rear glass panels P, P are pressed and held against the front side and rear side of the upper frame 22, the lower frame 21 and each vertical frame 23 via the glass holders 24. Each glass holder 24 is attached by being elastically engaged with the front side or rear side of the corresponding upper frame 22, the lower frame 21 and each vertical frame 23, and a buffer material 24a is interposed between the peripheral part of the glass panel P and the corresponding upper frame 22, the lower frame 21 and each vertical frame 23. The glass panels P, P adjacent to each other on the left and right are connected via a joint material 25 installed in the joint D, and the joint material 25 is configured by adhering a pair of joint members 25a, 25b that engage with each other to the opposing side end faces of the glass panels P, P.

[0021] However, the glass panel P may be one or more depending on the required opening dimensions between the left and right pillars S, S. Also, any partition panel P1, for example, may be provided adjacent to the outside of each of the left and right pillars S, S.

[0022] The floor rail 11 is an upward channel-shaped long member laid on the floor F via an anchor bolt (not shown) (Figs. 1 and 3). Each jack 12 in the floor rail 11 has a boss 12b with a female thread fixed to the upper surface of a downward box-shaped base 12a, and a small-diameter operation part 12d with a slot is protruded from the upper end of an adjuster bolt 12c that is screwed into the boss 12b. The reinforcing material 13 is downward channel-shaped and is housed in the floor rail 11 so as to be slidable up and down, and both ends and the center are supported via the adjuster bolts 12c, 12c, . . . of the jacks 12, 12, . . . That is, the jacks 12 are arranged to correspond to the joints D of the front and rear glass panels P, P, . . . and to correspond to both ends of the reinforcing material 13 having a length equivalent to the distance between the left and right vertical frames 23, 23.

[0023] The bottom frame 21 is placed on the top surface of the reinforcing material 13 so as to cover the floor rail 11, and is screwed in place (Figs. 1 and 4). The operating portion 12d of each jack 12 protrudes to the top surface of the bottom frame 21 through the corresponding square hole 13a of the reinforcing material 13 and the long hole 21d of the bottom frame 21, and each jack 12 can be operated from the top surface side of the bottom frame 21. A removable cover material 14 is attached to the top surface side of the bottom frame 21, and the cover material 14 conceals the top surface of the bottom frame 21. The bottom frame 21 and the cover material 14 are the same length as the reinforcing material 13. However, the cover material 14 is not shown in Fig. 3, and only one of the left and right pillars S, S and vertical frames 23, 23 is shown in Fig. 4.

[0024] The upper frame 22 is fixed to the ceiling C via a set screw 31a by inserting a guide member 32 with a lip groove-like cross section downward inside the top surface of the downward channel-like ceiling rail 31 (FIG. 1), and is supported so as to be adjustable in height via a hanging bolt 33 that is screwed upward into the underside of a support member 33a that is held via the guide member 32. However, an engagement plate 33b with a slit that engages with an engagement groove at the neck of the hanging bolt 33 is screwed to the underside of the upper frame 22, and the front and rear side walls of the upper frame 22 are formed upward along the outer surface of the ceiling rail 31. Also, a removable cover member 34 that conceals the entire underside of the upper frame 22, including the hanging bolt 33 and the engagement plate 33b, is attached to the underside of the upper frame 22.

[0025] The left and right vertical frames 23, 23 are fitted to the inward-facing side of the corresponding support pillar S via a cushioning material 41 (FIG. 2), and are then screwed to the front and rear sides of the support pillar S. The lower end of each support pillar S has a notch S1 that is open at the bottom on each of the inward-facing and outward-facing sides (FIG. 5(A)), and a deformed box-shaped frame 42a of a jack 42 for the support pillar S is fitted and fixed from below through the notches S1, S1. The lower ends of the front and rear sides of the support pillar S are lowered along the outer side of the floor rail 11 so that the lower ends of the adjuster bolts 42b of the jack 42 land on the bottom surface of the floor rail 11, and the support pillar S is supported via the jack 42 so that its height can be adjusted. A rectangular hole S2 is formed in the inwardly facing side surface of the support column S for rotating the adjuster bolt 42b, and only one of the notches S1, S1 is shown in FIG. 5(A).

[0026] A substantially L-shaped receiving bracket 43 is attached to the inward-facing side of the lower end of each support S. In the support S, vertically long slits S3, S3 are formed on both sides of the lower part of the square hole S2, and the receiving bracket 43 is attached to the lower end of the support S by inserting and latching the hooks 43a, 43a at the upper end of the vertical part into the slits S3, S3, and can be screwed in if necessary (FIG. 5(B)), so that the horizontal part is held inside the floor rail 11 and the end of the reinforcing material 13 inside the floor rail 11 can be supported (FIGS. 3 and 4). In addition, the tip of the horizontal part of the receiving bracket 43 has engaging protrusions 43b, 43b formed upward, and both ends of the reinforcing material 13 have round holes 13b, 13b formed thereon to engage with the protrusions 43b, 43b, respectively, to position the reinforcing material 13. In addition, the reinforcing material 13 and the lower frame 21 are fastened by screws to the horizontal portions of the left and right receiving brackets 43, 43 at once.

[0027] The upper end of each support column S is connected to the ceiling rail 31 via an extension adapter member that expands and contracts like a telescope (not shown). The left and right support columns S, S can be adjusted in height appropriately according to the unevenness of the floor F and the height error of the ceiling C by adjusting the jack 42 at the lower end and the adapter member at the upper end, respectively, and the left and right receiving brackets 43, 43 can be set at the same horizontal level at a specified height position and erected between the floor rail 11 and the ceiling rail 31. Each vertical frame 23 can be attached to the support column S erected in this manner. However, a downward notch 23a is formed at the lower end of the vertical frame 23 to avoid interference with the receiving bracket 43 (Fig. 4).

[0028] The assembly procedure for such a lower frame adjustment mechanism is, for example, roughly as follows.

[0029] First, the left and right support columns S, S are set up correctly and the left and right vertical frames 23, 23 are attached (Figs. 3 and 4), and the left and right receiving brackets 43, 43 are at the same horizontal level at a predetermined height. Then, the jacks 12, 12... are placed at predetermined positions in the floor rail 11, and the reinforcement material 13 is brought in so that both ends of the reinforcement material 13 are supported by the left and right receiving brackets 43, 43. The reinforcement material 13 is positioned via the projections 43b, 43b of each receiving bracket 43 and the round holes 13b, 13b of the reinforcement material 13. Next, the jacks 12 are operated via the operating parts 12d of the jacks 12 that protrude from the upper surface side of the reinforcement material 13 through the square holes 13a of the reinforcement material 13, and the overall horizontal level of the reinforcement material 13 is finely adjusted. After that, the reinforcement material 13 is fixed by screws from the outer surface of the floor rail 11 (Figs. 4 and 6(A)).

[0030] Next, the lower frame 21 is brought in and placed on the upper surface of the reinforcing material 13 so as to cover the floor rail 11 (Figs. 4 and 6(B)). A protrusion 21b having an inwardly sloping surface 21c on the lower side is formed at the lower end of each side wall portion 21a of the lower frame 21, and each side wall portion 21a abuts against the outer surface of the floor rail 11 via the protrusion 21b. Thus, the lower frame 21 can smoothly ride over the head of the screw that fixes the reinforcing material 13 to the floor rail 11 from top to bottom via the protrusions 21b, 21b (arrow direction in Fig. 6(E), (B)). However, Fig. 6(E) is an enlarged explanatory view of the main part equivalent to Fig. 6(B).

[0031] Thereafter, the lower frame 21 is connected to the upper surface of the reinforcing material 13 by screwing (Figs. 4 and 6(C)), and the removable cover material 14 is attached to the upper surface of the lower frame 21 to complete the construction (Figs. 4 and 6(D)). Since each jack 12 can also be operated from the upper surface side of the lower frame 21, prior to attaching the cover material 14, or after removing the attached cover material 14, it is possible to release the screws of the floor rail 11 and the reinforcing material 13 and recheck the reinforcing material 13 and the lower frame 21, adjust the height, and align the horizontal level. Other embodiments

[0032] Each jack 12 can be provided with an auxiliary spacer 16 to be interposed between it and the floor rail 11 (FIGS. 7(B) and (C)). The auxiliary spacer 16 is a short, downward channel-shaped member that can be stored in the base 12a of the jack 12 (FIG. 8), and a round hole 16a is formed on the upper surface thereof for passing the adjuster bolt 12c of the jack 12 through. The auxiliary spacer 16 can move the jack 12 upward by a distance d according to the height h, and shift the height adjustment range R of the reinforcement 13 by the jack 12 upward by an amount equivalent to the distance d. However, in FIG. 7, the height adjustment range R indicates the approximate adjustable range of the upper surface of the reinforcement 13 by the jack 12, and FIG. 7(A) is a front view in which the auxiliary spacer 16 is not provided, and FIG. 7(B) and FIG. 7(C) are views equivalent to FIG. 7(A) in which auxiliary spacers 16 with increasing heights h are provided. In Fig. 7(A)-(C), the height of the side wall of the floor rail 11 is shown in increasing order, but when the distance d is small as in Fig. 7(B), it is sufficient to leave it as it is in Fig. 7(A). Fig. 8(A)-(C) are a plan view, a front view, and a side view of the auxiliary spacer 16, respectively.

[0033] In the above description, the front and rear glass panels P, P... may each be one or more than two pieces, or may be a single glass panel provided only on the front side or the rear side. The glass panel P may be any partition panel made of transparent or opaque synthetic resin, wood, paper, metal, or a composite material thereof. [Industrial Applicability]

[0034] This invention improves workability by allowing the height of the lower frame of the frame body that supports the partition panels to be easily adjusted, and also makes it easy to achieve sufficient overall strength, making it widely and suitably applicable to partitioning the interior space of any building.
