[0008] Hereinafter, an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. A test system according to an embodiment tests the operation of a lane server that collects tolls from vehicles at the entrances or exits of toll roads such as expressways. [0043] Furthermore, the simulated testing environment system 2 may include components other than those shown in FIG. 1 as necessary, and certain components may be excluded from the simulated testing environment system 2.

[0044] Next, a configuration example of the antenna simulator 5 will be described. Fig. 2 shows an example of the configuration of the antenna simulator 5. As shown in Fig. 2, the antenna simulator 5 includes a processor 51, a ROM 52, a RAM 53, an NVM 54, a communication unit 55, an operation unit 56, a display unit 57, and the like.

[0045] The processor 51, the ROM 52, the RAM 53, the NVM 54, the communication unit 55, the operation unit 56, and the display unit 57 are connected to one another via a data bus or the like. The antenna simulator 5 may include components as necessary in addition to the components shown in FIG. 2, and certain components may be excluded from the antenna simulator 5.

[0046] The processor 51 has a function of controlling the overall operation of the antenna simulator 5. The processor 51 may include an internal cache and various interfaces, etc. The processor 51 realizes various processes by executing programs stored in advance in the internal memory, the ROM 52, or the NVM 54.

[0047] Some of the various functions realized by the processor 51 executing the programs may be realized by a hardware circuit. In this case, the processor 51 controls the functions executed by the hardware circuit.

[0048] The ROM 52 is a non-volatile memory in which control programs, control data, etc. are stored in advance. The control programs and control data stored in the ROM 52 are incorporated in advance in accordance with the specifications of the antenna simulator 5.

[0049] The RAM 53 is a volatile memory. The RAM 53 temporarily stores data being processed by the processor 51. The RAM 53 stores various application programs based on instructions from the processor 51. The RAM 53 may also store data necessary for executing the application programs, execution results of the application programs, and the like.

[0050] The NVM 54 is a non-volatile memory in which data can be written and rewritten. The NVM 54 is, for example, configured with a hard disk drive (HDD), a solid state drive (SSD), a flash memory, etc. The NVM 54 stores control programs, applications, various data, etc. according to the operational purpose of the antenna simulator 5.

[0051] The communication unit 55 is an interface for communicating with the lane server 1, the data generating unit 3, etc. For example, the communication unit 55 is an interface for transmitting and receiving data with the lane server 1, the data generating unit 3, etc. via a network. For example, the communication unit 55 is an interface that supports a wired or wireless LAN (Local Area Network) connection.

[0052] The communication unit 55 may be configured with an interface for communicating with the lane server 1 and an interface for communicating with the data generation unit 3.

[0053] The operation unit 56 receives various operation inputs from an operator. The operation unit 56 transmits a signal indicating the input operation to the processor 51. The operation unit 56 may be configured as a touch panel.

[0054] The display unit 57 displays the image data from the processor 51. For example, the display unit 57 is configured with a liquid crystal monitor. When the operation unit 56 is configured with a touch panel, the display unit 57 may be formed integrally with the operation unit 56.

[0055] The roadside simulator 7, tollgate server simulator 10, lane monitoring control device simulator 11, roadside display simulator 12, NP reader simulator 13 and toll collection machine simulator 14 have the same configuration as the antenna simulator 5. Therefore, explanations of the configurations of the roadside simulator 7, tollgate server simulator 10, lane monitoring control device simulator 11, roadside display simulator 12, NP reader simulator 13 and toll collection machine simulator 14 will be omitted.

[0056] Next, the function of each element of the connection device simulator 4 will be described. First, there will be described functions realized by the antenna simulator 5. The functions realized by the antenna simulator 5 are realized by the processor 51 executing a program stored in the internal memory, the ROM 52, the NVM 54, or the like.

[0057] The antenna simulator 5 has a function of transmitting to the lane server 1 a signal (antenna signal) related to communication with an on-board device of the vehicle. The antenna simulator 5 receives the vehicle data from the data generating unit 3. Upon receiving the vehicle data, the antenna simulator 5 connects to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1 under the control of the simulation test environment system 2 or the like.

[0058] When connected to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1, the antenna simulator 5 waits until it receives a control signal to start its operation from the simulated test environment system 2. Upon receiving the control signal to start its operation, the antenna simulator 5 waits until it receives a control signal from the lane server 1 requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device.

[0059] When the control signal is received, the antenna simulator 5 acquires the first record of the vehicle data. After acquiring the first record, the antenna simulator 5 generates an antenna signal based on the first record. That is, the antenna simulator 5 simulates communication between the vehicle-mounted device and an antenna that wirelessly communicates with the vehicle-mounted device, and generates an antenna signal generated by the antenna.

[0060] For example, the antenna simulator 5 generates an antenna signal indicating communication with an on-board unit in which a normal ETC card is inserted, an antenna signal indicating communication with an on-board unit in which an abnormal ETC card is inserted, an antenna signal indicating communication with an on-board unit in which an ETC card is not inserted, an antenna signal indicating communication with an abnormal on-board unit, etc. The antenna simulator 5 also generates an antenna signal indicating that a timeout has occurred in communication with the antenna and an antenna signal indicating that a retry over has occurred.

[0061] The antenna simulator 5 may generate a plurality of antenna signals for one record.

[0062] When the antenna signal is generated, the antenna simulator 5 transmits the generated antenna signal to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1.

[0063] After transmitting the generated antenna signal, the antenna simulator 5 similarly waits for a control signal requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device. The antenna simulator 5 similarly generates antenna signals in sequence based on the vehicle data records and transmits them to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1.

[0064] Next, there will be described functions realized by the roadside simulator 7. The functions realized by the roadside simulator 7 are realized by the processor executing a program stored in the internal memory, ROM, NVM, or the like.

[0065] The roadside simulator 7 has a function of transmitting vehicle inspection joint data to the lane server 1.

[0066] The roadside simulator 7 receives the vehicle data from the data generating unit 3. Upon receiving the vehicle data, the roadside simulator 7 connects to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 based on the control of the simulation test environment system 2 or the like.

[0067] When connected to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1, the roadside simulator 7 waits until it receives a control signal from the simulation test environment system 2 to start its operation.

[0068] Upon receiving the control signal, the roadside simulator 7 acquires the first record of the vehicle data. Upon acquiring the first record, the roadside simulator 7 generates vehicle inspection intersection data based on the first record. That is, the roadside simulator 7 simulates detection by a roadside device in the lane, and generates vehicle inspection intersection data generated by a roadside device that detects a vehicle whose behavior is indicated in the record.

[0069] For example, the roadside simulator 7 generates vehicle inspection intersection data related to forward movement, stoppage, backward movement, or irregular driving in a lane. Also, the roadside simulator 7 may not transmit the vehicle inspection intersection data as it is determined that a vehicle has not been detected.

[0070] The roadside simulator 7 may generate a plurality of vehicle inspection joint data for one record.

[0071] When the roadside simulator 7 generates the vehicle inspection joint data, the roadside simulator 7 transmits the generated vehicle inspection joint data to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1.

[0072] After transmitting the generated vehicle inspection joint data, the roadside simulator 7 similarly generates vehicle inspection joint data in sequence based on the records of the vehicle behavior data and transmits the data to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 .

[0073] Next, there will be described functions realized by the interface conversion device 6. The functions realized by the interface conversion device 6 are realized by hardware such as an LSI.

[0074] First, the interface conversion device 6 has a function of transmitting the vehicle inspection intersection data from the roadside simulator 7 to the lane server 1.

[0075] The interface conversion device 6 determines whether data has been received from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1.

[0076] When it is determined that data has been received, the interface conversion device 6 determines whether the received data is vehicle inspection joint data from the roadside simulator 7.

[0077] When the interface conversion device 6 determines that the received data is vehicle inspection joint data from the roadside simulator 7, it transmits the received data (vehicle inspection joint data) to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 via the roadside interface aggregation unit 9.

[0078] In addition, the interface conversion device 6 has a function of transmitting an output signal from the lane server 1 to the automatic control device 8.

[0079] As described above, the interface conversion device 6 determines whether the received data is vehicle inspection joint data from the roadside simulator 7.

[0080] When the interface conversion device 6 determines that the data received from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1 is not vehicle inspection joint data (i.e., the received data is an output signal from the lane server 1), it transmits the received data (output signal) to the automatic control device 8.

[0081] Here, the automatic controller 8 transmits a control signal for controlling the lane indicator board or the starting controller to the interface conversion device 6 based on the output signal.

[0082] The interface conversion device 6 receives the control signal from the automatic controller 8. Upon receiving the control signal, the interface conversion device 6 displays information related to the control signal. For example, the interface conversion device 6 turns on or off a lamp indicating a message to be displayed on a lane sign based on the control signal. The interface conversion device 6 also turns on or off a lamp indicating the opening or closing of a launch control based on the control signal.

[0083] The interface conversion device 6 also has a function of transmitting to the lane server 1 a signal indicating a state change (a state signal).

[0084] The interface conversion device 6 judges whether a state change has occurred. For example, the state change is a change in a monitoring item such as an abnormality occurrence or recovery of each simulated device (antenna, roadside device, roadside display, NP reader, toll collection machine, toll booth server, lane monitoring control device, etc.) or an automatic control device 8 which is an actual device.

[0085] The interface conversion device 6 receives an input of a state change from an operator via a switch, etc. The interface conversion device 6 may also detect removal or installation of the roadside simulator 7 or the automatic controller 8 as a state change.

[0086] When it is determined that a state change has occurred, the interface conversion device 6 transmits a state signal indicating the state change that has occurred to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 via the roadside interface aggregation unit 9.

[0087] Next, an example of the operation of the test system 100 will be described. First, an example of the operation of the simulation testing environment system 2 will be described.

[0088] 3 is a flowchart for explaining an example of the operation of the simulated testing environment system 2. The following operations may be executed by an information processing device (not shown) in the simulated testing environment system 2, or may be executed by any of the elements constituting the simulated testing environment system 2.

[0089] First, the simulated testing environment system 2 causes the data generating unit 3 to generate vehicle data, vehicle behavior data, and table data (S11). After causing the data generating unit 3 to generate vehicle data, vehicle behavior data, and table data, the simulated testing environment system 2 connects the lane server 1 to the antenna simulator 5, roadside simulator 7, tollgate server simulator 10, lane monitoring control device simulator 11, roadside display simulator 12, NP reader simulator 13, toll collection machine simulator 14, and the like (S12).

[0090] When the lane server 1 is connected to each simulator, the simulation test environment system 2 causes the data generation unit 3 to transmit vehicle data to the antenna simulator 5, vehicle behavior data to the roadside simulator 7, and table data to the tollgate server simulator 10 (S13).

[0091] After causing the data generating unit 3 to transmit each data, the simulation testing environment system 2 causes the antenna simulator 5 to start operation (S14). For example, the simulation testing environment system 2 transmits a control signal to the antenna simulator 5 to start operation.

[0092] When the antenna simulator 5 is caused to start operating, the simulated testing environment system 2 causes the roadside simulator 7 to start operating (S15). For example, the simulated testing environment system 2 transmits a control signal to the roadside simulator 7 to start operating.

[0093] Here, the roadside simulator 7 inputs various signals to the lane server 1. The lane server 1 operates based on the various signals and outputs various signals. The simulation test environment system 2 causes each simulator to execute control based on the output signal from the lane server 1 (S16).

[0094] After causing each simulator to execute control based on an output signal from the lane server 1, the simulated testing environment system 2 judges whether to continue the test (S17). If it is judged that the test is to be continued (S17, YES), the simulated testing environment system 2 returns to S11.

[0095] When it is determined that the test is to be ended (S17, NO), the simulated testing environment system 2 acquires the operation log generated in each simulator, the lane server 1, etc. (S18). After acquiring the operation log, the simulated testing environment system 2 terminates the operation.

[0096] The simulated testing environment system 2 may present the acquired operation log to an operator. The simulated testing environment system 2 may transmit the acquired operation log to an external device.

[0097] Next, an example of the operation of the roadside simulator 7 will be described.

[0098] FIG. 4 is a flowchart for explaining an example of the operation of the roadside simulator 7. As shown in FIG.

[0099] First, the roadside simulator 7 receives the vehicle behavior data from the data generating unit 3 (S21). Upon receiving the vehicle behavior data, the roadside simulator 7 connects to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 in accordance with the control from the simulation test environment system 2 (S22). Note that the roadside simulator 7 may receive the vehicle inspection joint data after connecting to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1.

[0100] When connected to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1, the roadside simulator 7 judges whether or not it has received a control signal to start its operation (S23). If it judges that it has not received a control signal to start its operation (S23, NO), the roadside simulator 7 returns to S23.

[0101] When it is determined that a control signal to start the operation has been received (S23, YES), the roadside simulator 7 resets n (n=1) (S24). After resetting n, the roadside simulator 7 generates vehicle inspection joint data based on the n-th record in the vehicle behavior data (S25). After generating the vehicle inspection joint data, the roadside simulator 7 transmits the generated vehicle inspection joint data to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 (S26).

[0102] When the generated vehicle inspection intersection data is transmitted to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1, the roadside simulator 7 judges whether n=N (the number of records) (S27). If it is judged that n=N is not the case (S27, NO), the roadside simulator 7 increments n (n=n+1) (S28).

[0103] After incrementing n, the roadside simulator 7 returns to S25. If it is determined that n=N (S27, YES), the roadside simulator 7 ends the operation.

[0104] Next, an example of the operation of the interface conversion device 6 will be described.

[0105] First, an example of the operation when the interface conversion device 6 receives data from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1 will be described.

[0106] FIG. 5 is a flowchart for explaining an example of the operation of the interface conversion device 6 when receiving data from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1. As shown in FIG.

[0107] First, the interface conversion device 6 determines whether data has been received from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1 (S31). If it is determined that data has not been received from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1 (S31, NO), the interface conversion device 6 returns to S31.

[0108] When it is determined that data has been received from the roadside simulator 7 or the lane server 1 (S31, YES), the interface conversion device 6 determines whether the received data is vehicle inspection joint data from the roadside simulator 7 (S32).

[0109] If it is determined that the received data is vehicle inspection joint data (S32, YES), the interface conversion device 6 transmits the received data (vehicle inspection joint data) to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 via the roadside interface aggregation unit 9 (S33).

[0110] After transmitting the received data (vehicle inspection contact point data) to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1, the interface conversion device 6 returns to S31.

[0111] When it is determined that the received data is an output signal from the lane server 1 (S32, NO), the interface conversion device 6 transmits the received data (output signal) to the automatic control device 8 (S34).

[0112] When the interface conversion device 6 transmits the received data (output signal) to the automatic controller 8, it receives a control signal based on the output signal from the automatic controller 8 (S35). Upon receiving the control signal, the interface conversion device 6 displays information related to the received control signal (S36).

[0113] After displaying the information about the received control signal, the interface conversion device 6 returns to S31.

[0114] Next, an example of the operation when the interface conversion device 6 transmits a status signal to the lane server 1 will be described.

[0115] FIG. 6 is a flowchart for explaining an example of an operation performed when the interface conversion device 6 transmits a status signal to the lane server 1. As shown in FIG.

[0116] First, the interface conversion device 6 judges whether a state change has occurred (S41). If it is judged that a state change has not occurred (S41, NO), the interface conversion device 6 returns to S41.

[0117] When it is determined that a state change has occurred (S41, YES), the interface conversion device 6 transmits a state signal indicating the state change that has occurred to the monitoring control unit 102 of the lane server 1 (S42). After transmitting the status signal, the interface conversion device 6 ends its operation.

[0118] The interface conversion device 6 executes the operations of S31 to S36 and S41 and S42 in parallel.

[0119] Next, an example of the operation of the antenna simulator 5 will be described.

[0120] FIG. 7 is a flowchart for explaining an example of the operation of the antenna simulator 5.

[0121] First, the antenna simulator 5 receives vehicle data from the data generating unit 3 (S51). Upon receiving the vehicle data, the antenna simulator 5 connects to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1 under control of the simulation test environment system 2 (S52). Here, it is assumed that the antenna simulator 5 receives a control signal to start operation. Note that the antenna simulator 5 may receive the vehicle data after connecting to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1.

[0122] When connected to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1, the antenna simulator 5 determines whether or not a control signal requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device has been received from the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1 (S53).

[0123] When it is determined that the control signal requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device has not been received (S53, NO), the antenna simulator 5 returns to S53.

[0124] When it is determined that a control signal requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device has been received (S53, YES), the antenna simulator 5 generates an antenna signal based on the vehicle data record (S54). After generating the antenna signal, the antenna simulator 5 transmits the generated antenna signal to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1 (S55).

[0125] After transmitting the generated antenna signal to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1, the antenna simulator 5 returns to S53.

[0126] The antenna simulator 5 may transmit an antenna signal to the communication control unit simulator 101 of the lane server 1 even if it does not receive a control signal requesting communication with the vehicle-mounted device.

[0127] The test system configured as above transmits signals generated by simulating each device to the lane server. That is, the test system generates signals necessary for the operation of the lane server and transmits them to the lane server. As a result, the test system can test the operation of the lane server without operating the lane server in a real lane or the like.
