Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a light-shielding case. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, a light source device is known that has a plurality of light emitting elements arranged along a predetermined direction in a housing that is elongated in a predetermined direction. In the above light source device, an intake port and an exhaust port are provided on one end side and the other end side of the housing in a predetermined direction, and the plurality of light emitting elements are cooled. In this case, however, the light emitting elements on the one end side are cooled more than the light emitting elements on the other end side, so that the light output of the plurality of light emitting elements cannot be made uniform. In addition, in the above light source device, an intake port is provided on a side surface between the one end side and the other end side of the housing, and an exhaust port is provided on the other end side of the housing, so that the plurality of light emitting elements are cooled. In this case, however, the light emitting elements on the other end side are cooled more than the light emitting elements on the one end side from the other end side, so that the light output of the plurality of light emitting elements cannot be made uniform.
[0003] As a technology related to uniformly cooling multiple light emitting elements in the above light source device, for example, the devices described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 are known. In the LED lighting device described in Patent Document 1, an LED mounting board with multiple LEDs mounted thereon is mounted on a heat dissipation block, and heat from the LEDs is dissipated by the heat dissipation block. In the LED lighting device described in Patent Document 1, a first flow path through which a coolant passes from one end side to the other end side of the heat dissipation block, and a second flow path through which a coolant passes from the other end side to one end side of the heat dissipation block are provided. This allows the multiple light emitting elements to be cooled.
[0004] In the LED unit described in Patent Document 2, multiple LEDs are mounted on a heat dissipation member having a flow path inside through which a coolant flows along the longitudinal direction. In the LED unit described in Patent Document 1, the coolant is introduced into the flow path from the longitudinal center, and the flow path is composed of a flow path through which the coolant flows from the longitudinal center to one end, and a flow path through which the coolant flows from the longitudinal center to the other end. This cools multiple light-emitting elements. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-165509 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2012-074422 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] In the above techniques, there are cases where it is desired to block the light emitted from the light source device.
[0007] SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT EMBODIMENTS In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a light-shielding case capable of blocking light emitted from a light source device. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] A light-shielding case according to one aspect of the present invention includes a housing that is elongated in a predetermined direction, a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in the housing and aligned at least along the predetermined direction, and one or more heat dissipation members arranged in the housing and thermally connected to the light-emitting elements, and a first air intake port that draws air into the housing from the outside is provided at one end of the housing on one side in the predetermined direction, and an exhaust port that exhausts air from inside the housing to the outside is provided at the other end of the housing on the other side in the predetermined direction. In this light-shielding case attached to the housing, the case blocks light from the light of the light source device so that it does not leak outside the light source device, and no passing area through which an irradiated object irradiated with light from the light-emitting elements passes is formed inside the case, and air flows in a predetermined direction inside the case. The case according to the present invention makes it possible to block light emitted from the light source device.
[0009] In one aspect of the present invention, the wall portion of the light-shielding case on the opposite side to the light irradiation window side has a double-wall structure, and air does not need to circulate through the internal space of the wall portion of the double-wall structure.
[0010] In one aspect of the present invention, the housing is provided with a light irradiation window that transmits light from the light-emitting element, and the light-shielding case is attached to the housing so as to block the light irradiation window, and a passing area is formed on the surface of the light-shielding case facing the light irradiation window through which an irradiated object irradiated with light from the light-emitting element passes.
[0011] In one aspect of the present invention, the light-shielding case may be removably attached to the housing.
[0012] In one aspect of the present invention, the inside of the light-shielding case is connected to the air outlet side of the fan, and inside the light-shielding case, air sucked in and pressurized by the fan circulates in a predetermined direction, and the light irradiation window side of the light-shielding case is cooled by the air.
[0013] In one aspect of the present invention, air circulating in a predetermined direction inside the light-shielding case may flow into the housing from the light-shielding case exhaust port and merge with air sucked in from the first intake port inside the housing.
[0014] In one aspect of the present invention, a space is formed within the housing, the other side of which in the specified direction faces the heat dissipation member, and a second air intake port for drawing air from the outside into the space may be provided on a side surface of the housing between the first air intake port and the exhaust port.
[0015] In one aspect of the present invention, the second air intake port is provided on a side of the housing other than the side from which the light-emitting element emits light, and the space facing the second air intake port may be a portion of the housing in which the heat dissipation member is arranged and in which the heat dissipation member is not formed. [0018] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the following, the same or corresponding elements are given the same reference numerals, and duplicated explanations will be omitted.
[0019] As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the light source device 100 is a high-output air-cooled LED light source for printing applications, for example. The light source device 100 can be used as a long light source unit mounted in, for example, a UV printing device (UV printer). The light source device 100 irradiates light such as ultraviolet light, for example, to dry ink. The light source device 100 includes a housing 10, a plurality of LED boards 30, a support block 40, a plurality of heat sinks 50, a pair of drive circuits 60, a radiator fan 70, and a light-shielding case 80.
[0020] For ease of explanation, the longitudinal direction (predetermined direction) of the housing 10 is referred to as the "X direction", the light emission direction of the LED elements 31 of the LED substrate 30 which is perpendicular to the X direction is referred to as the "Y direction", and the width direction of the light source device 100 which is perpendicular to the X and Y directions is referred to as the "Z direction". In addition, the side from which the LED elements 31 emit light is referred to as the "lower side", and the opposite side is referred to as the "upper side".
[0021] The housing 10 is a rectangular box that is elongated in the X direction. The housing 10 is made of metal. The housing 10 houses an LED board 30, a support block 40, a heat sink 50, and a drive circuit 60.
[0022] A first air intake port 11 for drawing air into the housing 10 from the outside is provided on one end surface (one end) 10a of the housing 10 on one side in the X direction. The first air intake port 11 is formed so as to open to the outside in the X direction. A filter 11a made of, for example, urethane is attached to the first air intake port 11. A gripping portion 12 for gripping the housing 10 is provided on the one end surface 10a.
[0023] An exhaust port 13 for discharging air from inside the housing 10 to the outside is provided on the other end face (other end) 10b on the other side in the X direction of the housing 10. A blower 91 for sucking air is connected to the exhaust port 13 via a pipe 92 having a bellows. As a result, the air pressure is higher on one side in the X direction inside the housing 10 than on the other side, and air flows from one side to the other side in the X direction. Hereinafter, the one side in the X direction is also referred to as the "upstream side," and the other side in the X direction is also referred to as the "downstream side."
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2 to FIG. 6, the housing 10 has a main body 15 and a downstream section 25 on the downstream side of the main body 15. The main body 15 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that is elongated in the X direction. The upstream end face of the main body 15 is the one end face 10a described above. The LED board 30, the support block 40, and the heat sink 50 are arranged inside the main body 15. A communication port 16 that communicates with a light-shielding case exhaust port 82 of the light-shielding case 80 (described later) is formed in the upstream part of the lower surface (lower side surface) of the main body 15. A lid section 17 having a plurality of slits is attached to the communication port 16. A buffer section 19 that is a buffer space for buffering the flow of air is provided in the downstream part of the main body 15.
[0025] The main body 15 includes a lower sidewall 20, an upper sidewall 21, and a pair of sidewalls 22, 23 that are continuous with the sidewalls 20, 21 and face each other in the Z direction. The lower sidewall 20 is provided with a light irradiation window 18 that transmits light from the LED substrate 30. The upper sidewall 21 and the pair of sidewalls 22, 23 that face each other in the Z direction have a double-wall structure. The sidewall 21 has an outer wall 21o and an inner wall 21i. The sidewall 22 has an outer wall 22o and an inner wall 22i. The sidewall 23 has an outer wall 23o and an inner wall 23i.
[0026] The outer walls 21o, 22o, 23o are flat wall bodies that constitute the outer periphery of the main body 15 (between the first intake port 11 and the exhaust port 13). The outer wall 21o is provided so as to be connected perpendicularly to the outer walls 22o, 23o. The inner walls 21i, 22i, 23i are flat wall bodies arranged inside the outer walls 21o, 22o, 23o, respectively. The inner wall 21i is provided so as to be connected perpendicularly to the inner walls 22i, 23i. The inner walls 21i, 22i, 23i extend from a position a predetermined length downstream of the first intake port 11 in the X direction to the buffer section 19. The lower ends of the inner walls 22i, 23i are located near the centers of the outer walls 22o, 23o in the Y direction.
[0027] Between the outer walls 21o, 22o, 23o and the inner walls 21i, 22i, 23i, an in-wall space 24 is formed, through which air sucked in from the first air intake port 11 and the communication port 16 flows along the X direction. The in-wall space 24 has an inverted U-shaped cross section in the state shown in Fig. 5. The space between the outer walls 22o, 23o and the inner walls 22i, 23i is closed by the lower ends of the inner walls 22i, 23i. Such an in-wall space 24 communicates with the inside of the housing 10 on the upstream side and downstream side, and the lower side is closed.
[0028] The downstream section 25 has a rectangular parallelepiped shape that protrudes upward from the main body section 15. The downstream section 25 is provided so as to be continuous with the main body section 15. The downstream end face of the downstream section 25 is the other end face 10b described above. The inside of the downstream section 25 is partitioned into a wiring accommodating space 27 and an air vent space 28 by a flat partition plate 26 that is aligned along the XZ plane. The wiring accommodating space 27 is a space above the partition plate 26 in the downstream section 25, and is defined (defined) in the upper part of the downstream section 25. The wiring C1 is bundled and accommodated in the wiring accommodation space 27. The ventilation space 28 is a space through which air flows, and communicates with the inside of the main body 15 and with the exhaust port 13. The ventilation space 28 is a space below the partition plate 26 in the downstream portion 25. A pair of drive circuits 60 are arranged in the ventilation space 28.
[0029] The LED board 30 includes a rectangular board constituting a predetermined circuit, and LED elements 31, which are light-emitting elements, arranged on the board at a predetermined pitch in the X and Y directions. The LED elements 31 emit light such as ultraviolet light downward. The LED boards 30 are arranged on the lower surface of the support block 40 in the X direction. As a result, several to several hundred LED elements 31 are arranged at least in the X direction inside the housing 10. The light emitted from each of the LED elements 31 on the multiple LED boards 30 is irradiated to an irradiated object passing through a passing region R described later through the light irradiation window 18 of the housing 10. An example of the irradiated object is a printed matter on which light (UV light) curable ink is attached.
[0030] The support block 40 is made of metal and is disposed on the lower side within the main body 15 of the housing 10. On the lower surface of the support block 40, a plurality of LED substrates 30 are arranged in parallel along the X direction. On the upper surface of the support block 40, a plurality of heat sinks 50 are arranged in parallel along the X direction. On the lower sides of both ends of the support block 40 in the Z direction, notches 41 that are rectangular in cross section are formed along the X direction (see FIG. 5). The notches 41 cooperate with the side wall 20 of the housing 10 to form a lower space 42. In other words, the lower space 42 is partitioned by the notches 41 and the side wall 20.
[0031] The lower space 42 extends in the X direction from the upstream part of the main body 15 to just before the buffer 19 (a position upstream of the buffer 19). The lower space 42 is divided into upper and lower parts by a partition plate 43. As a result, a first lower space 44 and a second lower space 45 above the first lower space 44 are formed in the lower space 42. The first lower space 44 is a space that mainly circulates air sucked from the first intake port 11 and the communication port 16 along the X direction. The first lower space 44 circulates air along the inner side of the side wall 20 of the housing 10, suppressing a temperature rise in the side wall 20. The second lower space 45 is a space that mainly accommodates the wiring C2.
[0032] The heat sink 50 is a heat dissipation member thermally connected to the LED elements 31 of the LED substrate 30. A plurality of heat sinks 50 (three here) are arranged on the upper surface of the support block 40, lined up at predetermined intervals along the X direction. The heat sink 50 has a base 51 and a plurality of heat dissipation fins 52.
[0033] The base 51 has a rectangular plate shape. The base 51 is connected to the upper surface of the support block 40. As a result, the base 51 is thermally coupled to the LED elements 31 of the LED substrate 30 via the support block 40. The heat dissipation fins 52 have a flat plate shape with the thickness direction being the Z direction and elongated in the X direction. The heat dissipation fins 52 are arranged so as to be stacked with gaps in the Z direction. The heat dissipation fins 52 are erected on the base 51.
[0034] The heat dissipating fins 52 are formed with notches 53. The notches 53 are formed by cutting out a portion of each of the heat dissipating fins 52. Specifically, the notches 53 are formed by cutting out an upper corner of each of the heat dissipating fins 52 in a rectangular shape when viewed from the Z direction. That is, when viewed from the Z direction, the heat dissipating fins 52 are shaped to protrude upward in a rectangular pulse shape, and the notches 53 are formed by steps that exist at both ends of the heat dissipating fins 52 in the X direction. The notches 53 here exist up to the vicinity of the center of the heat dissipating fins 52 in the Y direction (see FIG. 6).
[0035] The heat dissipation fins 52 are provided in an upright position in an area other than both ends in the Z direction on the base 51. In other words, an area where the heat dissipation fins 52 are not provided is formed at both ends in the Z direction on the base 51. Side walls 22 and 23 having a double-wall structure are disposed at both ends in the Z direction on the base 51.
[0036] The drive circuit 60 is an electric circuit board for driving the light source device 100. A pair of drive circuits 60 are arranged in the ventilation space 28 of the downstream portion 25. As a result, the drive circuits 60 are arranged at a certain distance or more downstream from the LED substrate 30 in the X direction. Here, the drive circuit 60 is spaced downstream from the LED substrate 30 via the buffer portion 19.
[0037] The pair of drive circuits 60 are arranged such that their component mounting surfaces 60a face each other in a direction intersecting the X direction (here, the Y direction). Specifically, one drive circuit 60 is arranged on the lower side of the ventilation space 28 with its component mounting surface 60a facing upward. The other drive circuit 60 is arranged on the upper side of the ventilation space 28 with its component mounting surface 60a facing downward.
[0038] The drive circuit 60 has a circuit heat sink 61 that dissipates heat from the drive circuit 60. The circuit heat sink 61 is provided on the component mounting surface 60a. The pair of drive circuits 60 are arranged such that the circuit heat sinks 61 do not overlap in the X direction. In the example shown, the pair of drive circuits 60 have a positional relationship that is point symmetric with respect to a point between them when viewed in the Z direction.
[0039] The radial flow fan 70 is fixed to the underside of the downstream portion 25 of the housing 10. The radial flow fan 70 sucks in air from below along the Y direction, and sends it under pressure to one side in the X direction (the upstream side of the air in the housing 10).
[0040] The light-shielding case 80 is a rectangular box that is elongated in the X direction and flat in the Y direction. The light-shielding case 80 is made of metal. The light-shielding case 80 is detachably attached to the lower side of the main body 15 of the housing 10, and shields the light irradiation window 18 of the main body 15. The light-shielding case 80 is inserted into the air outlet side of the radial fan 70, and the inside of the light-shielding case 80 communicates with the air outlet side of the radial fan 70. A groove 81 that defines a passing region R is formed on the upper surface of the light-shielding case 80. The passing region R is a region through which the irradiated object passes along the Z direction. The bottom surface of the groove 81 faces the light irradiation window 18. A light-shielding case exhaust port 82 that exhausts air from the light-shielding case 80 is formed on the upper surface of one side of the light-shielding case 80 in the X direction. The light-shielding case exhaust port 82 communicates with the communication port 16 of the housing 10 when the light-shielding case 80 is attached to the housing 10 .
[0041] Inside such a light-shielding case 80, the air sucked in and pressure-fed by the radial fan 70 flows from the other side to one side in the X direction within the light-shielding case 80 (opposite to the flow of the air in the housing 10). This cools the bottom surface of the groove 81, which has been heated by the light from the light irradiation window 18. The air flows from the light-shielding case exhaust port 82 into the upstream part of the housing 10 via the communication port 16 and merges with the air sucked in from the first intake port 11. As a result, the air sucked in from the first intake port 11 flows from one side to the other side in the X direction together with the air from the light-shielding case 80.
[0042] Here, a space 1 is formed inside the housing 10, with the downstream side (the other side in the X direction) facing the heat sink 50. In other words, the upstream side of the heat dissipation fins 52 of the heat sink 50 faces the space 1. The heat dissipation fins 52 are arranged on the downstream side of the space 1.
[0043] The space 1 is a portion of the housing 10 where no heat dissipation fins 52 exist. The space 1 has a certain volume or more. The space 1 is an empty portion of the housing 10. The space 1 is formed between a pair of adjacent heat sinks 50. The space 1 is partitioned by notches 53 formed in the heat dissipation fins 52 of each of the pair of adjacent heat sinks 50. Specifically, the space 1 is partitioned by each of the notches 53 of the pair of adjacent heat sinks 50 and the inner side walls 21i, 22i, 23i, and has a rectangular parallelepiped shape.
[0044] A plurality of (here, two) second air intake ports 2 that draw air from the outside into the space 1 are provided on each of the side surfaces 22a, 23a of the pair of side wall portions 22, 23 of the main body portion 15. In other words, a plurality of second air intake ports 2 that directly connect the space 1 to the outside are formed on each of the side surfaces 22a, 23a between the first air intake port 11 and the exhaust port 13 of the housing 10.
[0045] The second air intake 2 opens in the Z direction. The second air intake 2 includes an outer lid in which a number of slits are formed. A filter 3 made of, for example, urethane is attached to the second air intake 2. The second air intake 2 is provided at a position overlapping with the space 1 when viewed from the Z direction. The space 1 is located in the vicinity (periphery) of the second air intake 2. The second air intake 2 formed on the side surface 22a and the second air intake 2 formed on the side surface 23a face each other in the Z direction. The second air intake 2 is provided at the end of the upper side (i.e., the side away from the irradiated object) of each of the side surfaces 22a, 23a.
[0046] The second air intake port 2 is provided so as to communicate with the space 1 but not communicate with the intra-wall space 24. For example, the second air intake port 2 has a through hole penetrating the outer wall 22o and the inner wall 22i, and the inside of the through hole is closed between the outer wall 22o and the inner wall 22i. The second air intake port 2 penetrates the intra-wall space 24 up to the space 1 without communicating with the intra-wall space 24.
[0047] Incidentally, a cover 93 that covers the passage area R is attached to the lower end of each side surface 22a, 23a of the housing 10. The cover 93 is a plate member whose thickness direction is the Z direction and whose length is long in the X direction. The cover 93 blocks light from reaching the passage area R.
[0048] As described above, in the light source device 100, air sucked in through the first air intake 11 on one side in the X direction in the housing 10 flows along the X direction toward the exhaust port 13 on the other side, while fresh air from outside is sucked into the space 1 inside the housing 10 through the second air intake 2 on the side surfaces 22a and 23a. Since the downstream side of the space 1 faces the heat dissipation fins 52 of the heat sink 50, the fresh air sucked into the space 1 easily flows into the heat sink 50 on the downstream side (between the heat dissipation fins 52).
[0049] This effectively suppresses the temperature rise of the LED elements 31 on the exhaust port 13 side, which is prone to temperature rise. It is possible to suppress the temperature gradient among the LED elements 31, suppress the temperature difference between the LED elements 31 near the first intake port 11 and the LED elements 31 near the exhaust port 13, and make the temperature of the LED elements 31 uniform. It is possible to improve the efficiency of cooling of the light source device 100 as a whole, and to make the device more compact. It is possible to suppress the illuminance gradient among the LED elements 31, and suppress the illuminance difference between the LED elements 31 near the first intake port 11 and the LED elements 31 near the exhaust port 13.
[0050] In the light source device 100, the space 1 is partitioned by the notches 53 formed in the heat dissipation fins 52. Such a space 1 effectively allows fresh air to be sucked in from the outside through the second air intake port and flow between the heat dissipation fins 52.
[0051] In the light source device 100, the space 1 is formed between a pair of adjacent heat sinks 50. In this case, when a plurality of heat sinks 50 are arranged, the space 1 can be formed efficiently.
[0052] In the light source device 100, the space 1 is partitioned by the notches 53 formed in the heat dissipation fins 53 of each of a pair of adjacent heat sinks 50. With such a space 1, when a plurality of heat sinks 50 are arranged, it is possible to effectively suck in fresh air from the outside through the second air intake 2 and cause it to flow between the heat dissipation fins 52.
[0053] In the light source device 100, the second air intake 2 is provided at the upper end of the side surface 22a, 23a, which is the side away from the object to be irradiated. In this case, it is possible to prevent mist or the like that may be generated from the object to be irradiated from being sucked into the housing 10 through the second air intake 2.
[0054] In the light source device 100, the side walls 21, 22, and 23 of the housing 10 have a double-wall structure, and an in-wall space 24 is formed through which the air sucked in from the first air intake port 11 flows along the X direction. The second air intake port 2 is provided so as to communicate with the space 1 but not communicate with the in-wall space 24. This allows the air sucked in from the first air intake port 11 to flow through the in-wall space 24, suppressing a temperature rise in the side walls 21, 22, and 23 of the housing 10, while ensuring that the fresh air from the outside sucked in from the second air intake port 2 flows into the space 1 and between the heat dissipation fins 52, rather than into the in-wall space 24.
[0055] Fig. 7 is a perspective view showing the results of a simulation of the air flow around the second air intake port 2. In Fig. 7, the air flow is shown by streamlines. The simulation results in Fig. 7 show that fresh air sucked into the space 1 in the housing 10 through the second air intake port 2 can be reliably made to flow between the heat dissipation fins 52 on the downstream side.
[0056] FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing the results of a simulation of the temperature distribution in the housing 10. In FIG. 8, the temperature is indicated by the shade of color, with the darker the color, the lower the temperature. The cross section in FIG. 8 is the cross section in FIG. 4, but without the buffer section 19 and the radial fan 70. The simulation results in FIG. 8 show that the temperature rise of the LED elements 31 on the exhaust port 13 side, which is prone to temperature rise, can be suppressed, the temperature gradient between the multiple LED elements 31 can be suppressed, and the temperature of the multiple LED elements 31 can be made uniform.
[0057] In the light source device 100, the light emitted through the light emission window 18 hits the light-shielding case 80, and the temperature of the light-shielding case 80 may rise to, for example, about 200° C. In this case, the temperature of the lower side wall portion 20 of the housing 10 may rise due to the heat of the light-shielding case 80. In this regard, the light source device 100 is provided with a lower space 42 (first lower space 44) that allows air to circulate along the inside of the side wall portion 20 of the housing 10. This makes it possible to suppress the temperature rise of the side wall portion 20.
[0058] In the light source device 100, a filter 3 is attached to the second air intake 2. This makes it possible to prevent dust from flowing into the housing 10 through the second air intake 2.
[0059] In the light source device 100, the drive circuit 60 is disposed at a certain distance or more downstream from the LED board 30 in the X direction. Specifically, the drive circuit 60 is spaced downstream from the LED board 30 via the buffer section 19, and here, the drive circuit 60 is provided at the downstream end in the housing 10. This makes it possible to suppress the heat of the drive circuit 60 from adversely affecting the cooling of the LED elements 31. Since the drive circuit 60 is cooled by the air after cooling the LED elements 31, the light source device 100 as a whole can be cooled more efficiently. The drive circuit 60 can be cooled by the air whose flow has been buffered by the buffer section 19.
[0060] The light source device 100 includes a pair of drive circuits 60. The pair of drive circuits 60 are arranged such that the respective circuit heat sinks 61 do not overlap in the X direction. With this configuration, heat from each circuit heat sink 61 can be effectively dissipated by air flowing in the X direction.
[0061] In the light source device 100, the inside of the downstream portion 25 of the housing 10 is divided into a wiring accommodating space 27 and a ventilation space 28 by a partition plate 26. This separates the space in which the wiring C1 is accommodated from the space through which air flows, making it possible to suppress disturbance of the air flow due to the presence of the wiring C1.
[0062] The light source device 100 includes a light-shielding case 80. The light-shielding case 80 can block light emitted through the light emission window 18 while forming a passage area R through which an object to be irradiated passes or is placed.
[0063] In the light source device 100, in the space inside the light-shielding case 80, air flows in the opposite direction (from the other side to one side in the X direction) to the air flow in the housing 10. According to this configuration, by circulating air inside the light-shielding case 80, it is possible to effectively cool the downstream side of the housing 10, where the temperature is likely to rise, while suppressing a temperature rise in the light-shielding case 80 caused by the light hitting it from the light irradiation window 18.
[0064] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and may be modified or applied to other things without departing from the spirit of the claims.
[0065] Although the above embodiment includes a plurality of heat sinks 50, for example, as shown in Fig. 9(a), a single heat sink 50 elongated in the X direction may be provided. The space 1 may be partitioned by a notch 53 as a groove or recess formed in a heat dissipation fin 52 of one heat sink 50.
[0066] In the above embodiment, the second air intake 2 is provided at the upper end of the side surface 22a, 23a, but the position of the second air intake 2 on the side surface 22a, 23a is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in Fig. 9(b), a notch 53 that exists up to a position close to the base 51 in the Y direction may be formed in the heat dissipation fin 52, and the second air intake 2 may be provided in the center of the side surface 23a in the up-down direction.
[0067] In the above embodiment, the space 1 is defined by the notch 53 provided in the heat dissipation fin 52 of the heat sink 50, but the notch 53 may be omitted as long as the downstream side of the space 1 faces the heat dissipation fin 52. For example, as shown in Fig. 10, the heat dissipation fin 52 may be a rectangular plate without the notch 53 (see Fig. 4), and the space 1 may be formed between a plurality of heat sinks 50.
[0068] In the above embodiment, the second air intake 2 is provided on the side surface 22a, 23a, but is not limited thereto. The second air intake 2 may be provided on at least one of the side surfaces 22a, 23a, or alternatively or additionally, on the upper side surface (the side surface of the side wall portion 21). The number of second air intake 2 provided may be one on each side surface, or multiple on each side surface. The number of second air intake 2 provided may be determined according to the temperature gradient between the multiple LED elements 31.
[0069] In the above embodiment, the heat sink 50 may include a heat pipe. In the above embodiment, a third air intake port for sucking air from the outside into the buffer section 19 may be further provided at a position corresponding to the buffer section 19 on the side surface between the first air intake port 11 and the exhaust port 13 of the housing 10.
[0070] In the above embodiment, the LED substrates 30 on which the plurality of LED elements 31 are provided are arranged in parallel along the X direction, but the arrangement of the LED substrates 30 and the LED elements 31 is not particularly limited as long as the plurality of LED elements 31 are arranged at least along the X direction. In addition, the light-emitting elements are not limited to the LED elements 31, and other known light-emitting elements may be used. [Explanation of symbols]
